This is my first time making a Google Review, I believe. I had to take time out of my very busy day however, to give kudos to Julia Woodward for being EXTREMELY professional, kind, and super helpful! Julia is absolutely amazing! Im hoping that Julie is able to be recognized by her supervisors, for the true professional that she is! If that doesnt happen someone just may come along and offer her a job elsewhere. I hope she stays with you guys, especially in the Fenton Street office, which has always had very unprofessional employees, unfortunately. So again- GREAT JOB Julie Woodward!!!

I just recently rented a storage unit at this facility and had a wonderful experience with Ben, the property manager at this site. I had a few small issues with my rental at the beginning (not Bens fault), and he went out of his way to help resolve everything. It was extremely clear that Ben cares about his customers and making sure that they have a good experience at his facility. I cannot recommend him highly enough. As far at the facility goes, I was always able to access one of the covered parking spots and the free use of the moving carts was a huge help. My only wish is that they kept the gates open a bit later into the evening. I would definitely rent from here again if I have any future storage needs.

Had a good experience here. I was in a rush and called to reserve a unit 30 minutes before they closed. The check in date for the unit wasnt until the next day but they let us come in a day early. Ben was very helpful. The units are clean and easy to get to.

Quentin has helped me and my mother’s move in so easy. He informed me with everything that I needed to know. I recommend anybody that goes to Public Storage at the Fenton location to ask for Quentin. He will make sure you get everything you need from the right storage space to the right merchandise to help you move in!

Ive had nothing but issues at this location. I had three units in this facility and I used it for one of my businesses that operated in downtown silver spring before covid. Unfortunately the place has gone downhill (dirty, closes early, rats, mice, and insects) and the management has gotten worse and worse. The manager Ben continues to make up his own hours and harasses customers who need to get into their units.I asked for the district managers information, but was refused the info. I was literally yelled at and screamed at by the manager on several occasions. I eventually moved all my stuff out on Easter Sunday and Monday. I couldnt take the constant unprofessional and inappropriate actions by the on site manager. I have used the tech road and laurel locations without issue, but this one has to be the worst. I have the manager on video screaming and cursing. But I am. It sure who I should report this issue to in the company. They should know who they have in control at this location. They are loosing money everyday. I literally spoke to three people moving out for the same reasons.

Quintin provided me with excellent customer assistance in resolving a bank bill payment issue resulting from delayed mail delivery. Quintin was courteous and provided a positive resolution that helped me any additional fees. I highly recommend this facility as its always clean and easy to access.

Very frustrating location. They never have dollies available for use moving boxes. Manager stated that they dont leave them out over night because one was stolen (okay thats fine). Problem is there are never any dollies available during BUSINESS hours and the manager (who is incredibly polite when actually around) has been nowhere to be seen the last two times I have been to the facility (both visits have been between 10 am and 1pm). *I even waited until the little clock on the office door said he would be back and no one ever came back....If dollies are not safe from being stolen due to no manager around and no cameras, then why should we feel that our actual belongings are any safer?I have a few more trips to make to this place, if there is an actual employee there next time I go I will update this review.

Quinton gives exceptional customer service. On every visit he has been willing to take the time to explain policies I had previously misunderstood. On my third visit after 4 months he even remembered me. Always professional, always puts the customer’s needs first.

Went to public storage last week to buy some moving supplies. They didn’t have everything i needed but i was still able to get the job done. Clinton was the guy who helped us. He was a friendly person. Tried his beat to accommodate for us.

Large corporate chains unfortunately often lose sight of the importance of customer service. Highly recommend American Self Storage over this Public Storage Location. Public Storage would not allow us to access our storage unit after driving two hours across state to drop off items. The employee attempted to contact his District Manager but would not allow us in despite the fact that we had a mattress tied to the top of the car. He was unphased by the fact that we could not drive two hours across multiple highways back to our location and delay this drop-off, especially with the winter storm that will drop at least 5 inches of snow over the next two days.American Self Storage came to the rescue for us. Awesome customer service, extended storage hours, an after-hours hotline for questions or concerns, and it is a locally-owned business. Within 10 minutes of speaking to the rep we were able to access our storage unit and move all of our belongings.Wow!!! Thank you American Self Storage, you gave us an incredible customer service experience after having an awful exchange with the employee at Public Storage. You literally saved the day for us and we greatly appreciate all that you did. I hope this review encourages others to consider using American Self Storages facilities over Public Storage. Support a local business and have a great customer service experience!

Easy sign up online. Relatively easy enter and exit of facility. Only blocks from my home. Only three stars because a storage facility with hundreds of units has ONLY ONE hand cart for moving stuff between car and locker unit. Come on.....makes the experience very poor and the value very low.

The manager, Sydney, is wonderful and Public Storage is lucky to have her! I had an issue with my storage unit fees but when I approached, Sydney about it, she immediately set to make it right. She is professional, helpful, understanding and so pleasant. She, along with Brad the regional manager, helped to make a stressful situation (not of her making, it must be said) less so. I am so impressed on how she followed up with me to make sure I knew what was happening each step of the way and I truly feel that she has done all she can to make sure I am happy with the outcome! Sydney is amazing and I actually am looking forward to seeing her when I pay my fees next month.

UPDATE: Damion is the man! When I came to move my things out of storage, I brought with me some not so great movers. At every turn they were trying to tell me that my items would not fit and that I would need to purchase another POD for $1000! Without missing a beat Damion asked if he could be of assistance and suggested ways to move the furniture around-sure enough everything fit, with ease. If it hadnt been for him, I would have lost a great deal of money that day. It really is true, you get what you pay for. And, Damions customer service was worth every penny. I highly recommend this location.Damion provided exceptional customer service. At every step he was helpful and resourceful. I definitely made the right choice with Public Storage!
