I attempted to go to the FedEx store in Silver Spring Maryland, located on the corner of Georgia ave and Dale Drive. Before going to this store I checked their hours online and saw that they close at 8pm. I arrived at the store at 6:30pm. When I walked up a FedEx employee saw me, closed the door and locked it. They did not address me nor did they explain this behavior. I tried to knock and was ignored. This store has hours posted at the door and on their website that says they close at 8pm. Closing the store early without notice to customers is poor customer service and a waste of time to loyal customers who have gone out of their way to arrive at the location with plenty of time to do business. Ignoring me and refusing to acknowledge my presence is just a further insult. This level of unprofessional behavior is unwarranted and the reason why I will no longer use their FedEx services.

I didn’t realize how bad this location was until I spoke with other people and realized that I was not the only who experienced one of the most disrespectful and rude employees. When I first walked in there was this lady who worked behind in the desk who literally looked over at us then continued her convo with the other employee then once she was done with her convo came back and asked why we were standing there and we told her because we had a question on where to go to scan and she told her to read the signs. We just walked away at that point and tried to scan the documents we needed & print out somethings but we had some trouble and we were refused help and was told to read the sign again. At this point we are getting a little annoyed because we obviously would not be asking for help if the sign could help us. We ended up printing out a random blank sheet a paper and other things we did not mean to do and went back to request a refund for those sheets. When we got back to the desk and asked for a refund we were completely brushed off in a very hostile and rude manner. Then finally we began to speak back up about this disrespectful behavior and was refunded our $ money. I had this conversation with others and they literally were able to point out the same employee we had troubles with. Please get it together over there, if you are not happy with your job please leave instead of giving everyone else a hard time for things that could’ve been done in 2 mins tops.

Service is always very slow. It’s like everyone has checked out. There is no sense of urgency.One of their printers has been out of order for months.And the few printers that do work often freeze and their USB ports seldom work.Their over priced and poor service definitely motivates me to invest in my own home office supplies so I never have to depend on Fed ex for anything ever again.

Just went to fed ex. It was very slow. There was No customer service to speak of. This place is a disaster. I needed help printing out a document from my USB. I was told by staff to print out a document from my USB on one of their pricey computers that charge an arm/leg per minute.But their computers do not have USB ports!! Instead of helping me, the Fed Ex staff didn’t even want to be bothered!! I hope this place goes out of business!

Bad customer service, its Saturday morning 1030 am, Nov 07, 2020, store was empty, I went to scan and print the photo of my son, 2 different people just tell you go to that machine and do it yourself. I explained i have no experience on scanning and printing, they say instructions are on the board ?! . FedEx please train your associates to show empathy to your customers, the charge its on my credit card for spending 10 minutes in the wrong computer and it was not easy to close the session, after 3 times asking for help one guy came and he has yo shut down the computer, it was not responding . Sad for lack of empathy and willingness to help .

I’ve been waiting on a package for a week now and they refuse to leave it at the door even though I told them someone is here, they never knocked and after I signed the dog tag they still wouldn’t leave my package now I have to pick it up. The worst!

If they had 6 stars I would give this place that!I’m writing this review after I stopped by a local UPS store that was more conveniently located than this and realized I couldn’t get anything done nearly as efficiently or to the level of quality that I have come to expect from FedExParking isn’t great, there’s a parking deck relatively close by, but it takes a short walk. And sometimes there is a little bit of a wait because this store is so utilized by the community.But they are always well-staffed and the staff is always top-notch, Friendly and knowledgeable. They always get the job done for me and have all of the tools in the store that I need to get my work related tasks done.I go to these types of places (including FedEx’s, UPS and mom-n-pop shops) across the nation and this is one of the best run I’ve ever seen. Highly recommend.

I met this lady who works there by name Ewurabena a descent from Ghana. I had a little cut on my finger from my umbrella because it was raining and she quickly went behind the store to get me an alcohol wipe, a bandage and helped me dress my cut before attending to me. She was so polite. This is my second time being in that FedEx store and I had the same wonderful experience from her the second time. Keep the good work up!!!

I went to this location because it has free parking in the lot. This place is the best! I didnt fill out my shipping form because I didnt see the desk with the forms and packing materials but it was no problem at all. When I got to the register the person working there helped me fill out the forms and put together a box for me. She was patient and very helpful. I will definitely go back!

I went online just to get the hours that they are open, and saw all of these horrible reviews. I thought I had to write about my experience there to help balance it out. There is a nice, soft spoken older woman that is there seems like every time I go. She greets me politely pretty much every time and points me in the right direction. She is a saint. I find the people behind the counter to be pretty good too. Friendly, sometimes even funny-I think they do their best. No ones ever been rude to me there. I must have been there ten times last year. The only haughty people Ive seen there have been the customers. This is a tough job. I think these guys do well. Keep up the good work.

As a design student where this is the only 24 hour printer near the school, Im there almost once a week. The only time Ive ever been there and gotten good service was at 3 am and I was the only person in there. As opposed to when Im the only person in there at 7 am and the service is terrible for no reason. Their printers are always either broken or not working right, the serve-yourself printers refuse to do anything but print on the standard paper, and when I do finally get something printed it is either streaky or the colors are way off, or the quality is just inexplicably poor (theres no reason for vector images to come out anything but crisp, but they find a way). I dont even want to know when those machines were cleaned or maintained last, but I can say it was way too long ago. I constantly get marks, smudges, smears, and other easily avoidable problems.I do this stuff often, so I know my files are 100% ready to print when I get there, and in competent hands (that paid attention in the slightest) my job should take a matter of minutes. With that in mind, I consider it a shockingly swift visit if I make it out of that store in less than 30 minutes. The place has never had more than 2 employees that Ive seen at a time, and one of them is dedicated to the FedEx side, so the line to copy builds up quickly and takes forever to get through (warning: never go anytime after 9 am or before 8 pm). The employees arent very knowledgeable about their products or services, and usually just pitch the first thing they see on the counter as a solution. And while Ive never been treated rudely, its not the attitude you want to see when youre rushing to print something where quality matters after being up all night.Also Ive never known anyone who submitted an order online or just to be picked up later, where that actually happened. They NEVER follow through on these.If you want to print basic text or black and white on the standard paper, theyre probably fine, but if quality is a concern of yours (especially with photos or graphics), you might as well keep moving.

Jose the assistant manager saved the day. I had a huge deadline at 4 pm when I walked in at 1 pm. I needed about 31 packets (18 to 180 pages) professionally bound. He had it ready by 2 pm. He saved my bacon. Thank you!

Staff is good and very friendly but self print machines are configured incorrectly. I have been to other FedEx and haven’t encountered any issues but each time I’ve been to this one they do not seem to work. I’ve also never seen anyone use the copy machines at the self pay successfully.

Had a tight print deadline. Maurice went out of his way to take care of me. I had to call multiple times, and every time he was friendly and knowledgable. When I got there, he followed through and delivered the print job as promised. Great experience at this FedEx office! Thanks Maurice :)

This FedEx Center is great. U know what I loved most about it? There was this one winter ... bitter bitter cold, it was. Youd literally freeze to death staying outside.I had a ton of work to do. Was there often into the wee hours. Legal stuff....There were a few local homeless ppl. And FedEx was open 24/7. They let them be there. Theyd be sort of dozing by the computer stations that were not needed. Get them through the night.It seemed sort of an unwritten rule that we were all pretending they were there with a purpose.Customers and staff included.When all it was is that they wouldnt freeze to death. They had no phones.No work like a stressful lawsuit. As long as they didnt bother anyone. Lol. We were all in on it.Staff is always extremely helpful and professional.Whoever picks staff, they do an excellent job.Sometimes u have to wait in line.Thats cause they take time for each and every customer.Help m to a teeth.U know when its your turn, they help u too - every one gets their full detailed service.Great place. Great staff.I am always in admiration how they keep their cool and get everything done just right.

This place is incredibly understaffed and the lines to ask a question are incredibly long. There were only two people working in the entire store. Also, the printing machines were extremely slow and didnt even work. They need to drastically improve this place. They will no longer be getting my business.

The people and the service they give are exceptional. Willing to help and explain services to help with the end goal. It is a great place to study and work on business tasks at the available stations for commuters. However, you will need to leave the store to use the restroom. The bathroom is very unsanitary&filthy, toilet is disgusting, a strong stench, and seems to not have been cleaned in 6 months or more. Something has to be done a cleaning service to help make it clean and maintain it. I hope someone sees this review and takes the necessary action to have the bathroom. Keep customers happy have a clean bathroom. Again staff great buto the restrooms are filthy and really unusable. Thank God for Einstein Bros Bagel and Rite Aid resstrooms that are next door.

Ive lived near this fedex office for nearly 15 years, and although the area has improved greatly, this locations service and equipment has deteriorated to such a degree that it is almost a gamble to go there: you may get what you need or you may not. My last three visits,I guess you can say I gambled and lost. First visit, tried to make copies, 4 copiers, only one copier working. One said, needed toner, lady says, who we dont have anymore...., Next visit, just needed to purchase envelope. Only two people seem to be working, one guy is helping another customer, then the guy who ships fedex packages is busy at the other section, arranging packages.....line is getting longer and longer, but he doesnt step in to help at all. Got tired of waiting, went to drug store and found an envelope...I guess it is much like the other reviewer said, you must go at 3 am if you want service, because anytime during the day, its a gamble. If you have the time to waste, and the gas to burn, take a chance, you might get lucky....if not, then you are better off finding another location.

Ive used this store a lot. Most of the time its terrible service, but this last visit was exceptionally bad. Another reviewer said if you came to print black and white papers, they might be ok - well thats what I tried to do, unsuccessfully. So I had a pdf of 30 pages I needed to print. Tried self-serve printing with the fedex app - no good. So then I saw you could access a cloud document right from the printer - great, except it said it was downloading the file, then essentially crashes the machine, and spits out my card unsuccessfully. So finally, I use a self-service computer to download the pdf and put on a USB drive, a process I thought would cost

The customer service was horrible! I used one of their computers (that charges by the minute) and needed help with a printer. I asked an associate for help and she said everyone was busy and to wait. I waited five minutes asked again and was told the same thing. After paying for 10 minutes of unused computer time I logged off and went to the library.
