Very happy with the service we received! We had a cable snap on one side of our garage door and it was slightly open on one side. We tried the company whose sticker was on our door and were told they would try to get there that same day (Monday)and if not, would be able to make it out by Wednesday. So, Tuesday morning after they didnt show, we got a hold of Tri-state. And so happy we did! They were there within a few hours, and within 20 minutes of arriving had the door fixed; new cables on both sides, a new roller on one side that theyd noticed was rusted, and lubed up the track. Goes up and down like a charm, both gentleman were very polite and efficient, and the price was great to boot. Would highly recommend Tri-state to any one in need of quick easy and reasonably priced garage door repair!

Cant say enough nice things about this company! My garage door had a catastrophic failure, and I called for quotes from multiple companies. Tri-state was the fastest to respond, the BEST price, and they got the door installed the very next day. It sounds like Im reading off of a bad tv commercial script, but Im not. We had a spring pop and our garage door was stuck halfway open around 7pm at night. I called the after hours number and left a message. They called back within 15min. Had someone to my house by 8 and had the springs and cables replaced by 9pm after hours mind you. All this for under $300. What service at a fantastic price for a stressful situation. I will use again without doubt.

After hrs fees didn’t add up. On Friday night our spring on a single door must have snapped without our knowledge. We looked to Tri-State s 24- call for assistance. The after hours fee was quoted at 150.00 hr with a minimum of 1 hr. Guaranteed charged, replacement spring was quoted at 50.00. This was understood, we were told there were a few ahead of us but they could service us yet Saturday. The tech was very efficient, the job done in about 15 minutes which included lubing the door. Our disappointment was when the bill arrived and we were charged 225.00 for the call vs. the 150.00 quoted. Thinking there may have been a error we contacted to double check the charges for 24 hr service and again were quoted 150.00 hr with 1 hr minimum, 50.00 for the spring. I questioned the reason for my bill statement being 225.00 and the office gal said she would check with her manager concerning this chg.. My husband received a return call from the manager with some conversation about “Well the tech gets paid to go get the truck from the shop, do the work and his time returning to the shop. Let’s see- neither time on quoted price was this message ever mentioned, and the manager actually rudely commented we should have waited til Monday for a service call. Really? Don’t quote 150.00 for the hr., and chg people 225.00. This is a unacceptable business practice for us to support. We deserve better Sioux Falls. The spring was replaced in 15 minutes- reguardless of the drive it’s not a hour drive to & from our home. We used this company in the past, never such a disappointing outcome.

I called this business to to get a garage door installed at my home. They told me someone would get ahold of me about it later. They never called. I went with ACS Garage Door Inc. They answered my call and came out to my home same day to do measurements. Tristate quoted me $1,050 just to do removal and installation. ACS Garage Door is doing it the entire project for $1200. Labor is only $300.

Excellent service after hours (Thanksgiving weekend no less). Randy (owner) called me back within 10 minutes and I had two torsion springs replaced in an hour and a half. Nice guy, too. Be careful that you actually make contact with Tri--State. There are some deceptive ads which may direct you elsewhere.

Thanksgiving weekend, during a snow storm our garage door breaks. We couldnt find anyone to come help us until we called Tri-State Garage Door. Within 30 minutes, Randy, one of the owners, personally came over and helped get the garage door back in working order. He is such a kind guy and a pleasure to chat with while he worked magic on the door. To top it off, the prices were very reasonable. When our home in eastern Sioux Falls was being built in 2009, I specifically asked our builder to have higher quality garage doors put in. Something thats sturdy and thats better insulated than the doors I usually see since I planned on heating my garage. He said, No problem. Our garage doors came from Tri-State Garage Doors in Sioux Falls. The doors are great, as well as the openers. Not one problem ever.

Ordered our door 2 months ago, we have to use this company as it is who the distributor contracts with. No communication about them receiving the door and then we are told the soonest install date is January. The install technicians tell us it is out of their hands and it is all up to the scheduler in the office who has been nothing but rude.

Great service! Came home from work and the garage door would not go up. Looked inside and there was a broken spring. This was around 330 pm called Tri-State Door and they came with in a half hour replaced the springs. Service tech was great checked everything else over and fixed some minor problems also. A+ service recommend highly will have them again if we have problems or need new garage door later.

Garage door broke going up on a Monday morning in a blizzard. Thought it was going to be a long day. Called Tri-State at 8am, repairman was on the way by 9:45am, and the door was fixed by noon, at a cost much less than we were expecting. Turned out to be a great day.
