My wife and I moved a 3 bedroom house with 2 1/2 car garage and a full attic. Using U-Haul saved us about 12,000 dollars compared to what several friends paid to move. The U-Haul staff and service were all friendly, helpful, polite and professional. The icing on the cake was the U-Haul driver that dropped off and picked up the containers. I believe her name is Yvonne. She was a magician on a forklift and could drive a large truck up a long narrow driveway with lots of overhanging trees and avoid damage. Yvonne was very upbeat, friendly and efficient. Overall we had a very good experience working with U-Haul. I highly recommend them fir moving needs.

The General Manager, Crystal Rosebud, was absolutely phenomenal today after everything she’s been through resulting from the fire the other day. (Freak accident and totally not her fault!) I was notified of possible water damage to the items in my unit (and there was damage), and she was so helpful with documenting everything for the insurance claim. In addition to her, Kevin Jefferson and Magan Hawthorn of Family First Movers were just as awesome helping me unbox the damaged boxes and repack everything. In a situation like this, you need people like these three to help things go smoothly! Thank you so much!!!

We had a complicated contract for our move from IL to TN. We required three separate deliveries to load up our IL house. The first two were held in IL, the next three went to Southhaven, MS and the final one shipped to Jackson, TN. When it was time to have our six U-Boxes delivered to our TN home, the local office in Jackson coordinated our three contracts into one master to avoid multiple charges for final delivery. Yvonne from the Southhaven, MS location delivered our full boxes and returned to pick up the empty boxes when requested. She was amazing! She handles both the semi-trailer and forklift like the pro she demonstrated herself to be! She was efficient, friendly and to be commended on her work ethic! I hope Southhaven recognizes what a valuable employee they have in Yvonne!

We scheduled to have our pods puts on trailers so they could be transported to Oxford. We gave them two days notice for this as well. Turns out, they never put the pods on the trailer for the movers and they weren’t able to move my roommates and i in. They had to reschedule for Sunday. We called Uhaul and they didn’t even offer us a simple apology, let alone a refund. We have spoken to three different people about it and none of them have been helpful. Horrible and gaslighting.

I called to ask about an appliance dolly that I could rent and the first I was rudely told they didnt have one and I asked if there was a way they could look to see who did and was told I had to call and check. I called another uhaul and they said they were sorry about me being told that bc in fact they can look they just didnt want to. Her store only had access to a few locations but this store actually has access to more stores that might have it. So I called back to tell them this and this time it was maam we are not able to look. If you dont want to do your job just quit. Im sick to death of rude people.

Crystal or whatever her name is, has ZERO customer service skills is ABSOLUTELY NOT friendly and rude as hell telling wrong prices cargo van advertised 19.99 she says a different price, answering the phone while in the middle of helping a customer, wont be back

If you are looking to move and need someone to make it less stressful, pray that you get Yvonne B. to help you. First of all, Yvonne somehow managed to get my Ubox behind my gate, also returned my hitch for me, thus saving me a second trip. Best part of my experience with uhaul was Yvonne.

Customer service is great. They got me a truck and got my sister and I out of there pretty quickly. Service was wonderful. The young ladies working the counter, Mrs. Copeland and Mrs. Rosebud did a wonderful job getting us our rental. Thanks. Keep up the good work!!

This is the 3rd time that we have used this U-Haul location on Pepperchase in Southaven in the last few months. We could not be more pleased. The staff is always professional and courteous and they have always had the equipment that we needed. Special kudos to Crystal, the General Manager who makes sure that everything is always top notch!

Rude as hell. I was told by regional manager that I could use a debit card for my hold. And the lady at the desk was disrespectful. And not helpful at all. Lady was on her phone. Eating. And just being rude. Very unprofessional.

Saturday March 21st, I had a terrible experience at Summer Ave, I reached out to the corporate office and got Madison McClure. She was very pleasant speaking with, helped me with my truck reservation and even informed me on the first month free. With her help I was able to book the truck I needed to pack my home in Memphis. I got the much needed storage room for a first months free. When I arrived to the location, the store was clean and the staff was friendly and VERY helpful. Everything went perfect.You need to congratulate Madison for her excellent customer service!

Went to there about 1:00 pm on a Sunday to refill my propane tank. There is a big sign at the roadway that says available 7 days a week. What the sign does not tell is the person who does the propane is only there in the morning. Better make sure you call first before driving out there.

This place is awesome! Ive never had a better experience with UHaul. I had and issue and the owner (Horace Black) helped me out tremendously!

I made a reservation for a car dolly online. Arrived at store & the level of customer service is TERRIBLE!! There are a bunch of kids running this place who have no sense of customer service. They took forever to do paperwork & when we went outside to get the dolly, they didnt have their inventory in order, so we had to do paperwork ALL OVER AGAIN!!! They also tried to charge us for longer than we needed. It was a nightmare & I will do everything in my power to avoid doing any business here again.

Called to confirm reservation and the north Memphis girl was rude with every question I asked. Asked her for a phone number to confirm my reservation. She said they will contact me. As I was asking the same question, she started yelling/screaming out the phone number. I hung up. Now Im about to contact corporate. They are holding $725 of my money n u get to be rude and disrespectful? Not today!

I started not to come to this location because of a couple bad reviews....but having arrived I was pleased to find very attentive staff members. Dana was especially helpful, and got me in and out in a snap.So I just wanted to be sure and jump online and give them a good review to counter some of the negative reviews they have received. I dont know who the prior people dealt with, but both ladies that assisted me were very kind and professional.

I didnt go to the center to rent a truck. I needed ratchet straps. This U-Haul is situated nextdoor to a furniture store. When I walked in, I observed 2 associates in the bay area sweeping up. I proceeded to gather the products that I needed, not having been acknowledged of my entrance. As I made my way to the cash register, where no one could be seen behind the register...I waited for what seemed like quite a while. There was one employee in an adjacent room, looked like a small office. He was busy on his phone to notice. When he did notice me, he quickly went back to his phone. Never saying anything, no May I help you or nothing. There were some people in another office but the door was closed and locked. I went to the loading bay and opened the door and asked the two girls who were sweeping up if any one worked here. It looked as if I had interrupted their whole conversation and they looked like they were put off that I was even there. When I asked again if there were anyone working here, they said they were out to lunch. I posed that it was 1530 hrs and that it was a bit late to lunch since they closed in a couple of hrs. Highly unprofessional. No sense of urgency. No sense of work ethic. You could tell that leadership was all but non-existent.

The entire process was a mess! I ordered a truck online and was then called and rescheduled which messed up my entire day, causing my moving help to only be able Stay for am hour and a half. I scheduled to rent a storage from uhaul online, got to the location and was informed that uhaul does this frequently and that I did not have a reservation so I had to start the process over causing me to be even later returning the truck. I was about an hour and 40 minutes late but was charged for the entire day! Terrible just terrible the whole process It was not so much the locations but uhaul period.

Awesome customer service. The general manager Mike Robbins went out of his way to help me and my wife on our move. This is the 4th rental I’ve had to get in 2 months and he always made sure everything was ready and good to go. Thank you for all the help and the great service.

Super nice staff, very clean and well kept. They even keep fragrances plugged in. Absolutely no complaints about the staff or building at all. My only complaint is not having 24 hour access to my stuff. I was told that I would have 24 access after they installed some equipment, when I first rented the unit, but they still lock up at 7pm.

Nice and clean and the manager Michael is awesome! He has been so helpful and has gone out of his way to accommodate me in an out of state move! I highly recommend him and his facility!!

I had made reservations for a 26 foot truck and movers with this location. U-Haul lost my reservation therefore my movers showed up and I had no truck. It was suggested that I could take the last 26 foot truck there (it had a reservation for later that day) and U-Haul could bring in a truck from a location 30 minutes away in time for the other reservation but cooperate denied that and I had to travel farther to get a truck while my movers sat around at my home. In the end the movers barely had time to load anything in my house making me have to pay double to rent a new truck a different day. I moved out of state and moving is expensive as it is then adding the situation it really put me in a bad position money wise. This situation has totally ruined my image of U-Haul period and I will never rent from them again.

This has to be the worst U-Haul I have ever been to. Nice and Clean, EXTREMELY unprofessional staff. Also memo to UHAUL, a change in your policy involving ID’s and drivers license is the worst policy ever. If you cannot staff a location to operate your business, THEN CLOSE. May never use U-Haul again, will NEVER return to this location ever.
