Amazing service! We had an issue with the tire on our hunting cart, they were busy but still took the time to help us even though we bought the tube and did it ourselves. Super friendly and service that is second to none!
The entire Orange Peel crew is fantastic. From service to sales and everything in between they are truly experts as their craft and I could not recommend them more highly!
Great help. Great shop. Even though they couldn’t fit me in to repair my bike they helped me a lot outside to fix my own problem and learn quite a bit about how to do it. Thanks guys
I had a great experience here. During a day of bike riding on the mountain, at one point I crashed and my bike wheel and the bike rotor on the side of it was all messed up and broken. I went into this shop and they hooked me up with a new wheel and rotor for the front of my bike. The staff especially Scott was really friendly and knew what he was talking about. If I had anymore issues with my bike, I would definitely come back here again to get some help.
A serious, but unintimidating, shop. Brock and his crew are knowledgeable, service-oriented, and laid back--an unusual combination. And its worth a visit just to see the building.
Great shop with a wonderful staff. Very knowledgeable, great work and great customer service. The best you could ask for in a local shop.
Im doing a multi-state bike tour & stopped here to work on my bike. The staff were knowledgeable & helpful. Cool place.
A true legendary shop. Would recommend for all bikes and all people.
Awesome place with awesome staff. Just popped in for some pedals for my daughters bike, they had them, and installed them real quick for me! Definitely love this place
Best bike shop in town! The staff are all great and very savvy.
Great place. We were mid bike ride when my husbands brakes failed. Staff diagnosed the problem in minutes and fixed issue promptly. Very friendly and patient. Thanks for great customer service!!!
Staff was absolutely amazing. I would give 10 stars if google would let me.
Spoke-$2.00Wheel true -$20Install tubeless tire kit-$25.00Stans -$7.00I could have done the work myself but I asked what the labor would be to replace a spoke and was told “about 20bucks”. That seemed worth it.I’m impressed and extremely saddened that I paid nearly 50 dollars to have a spoke replaced :(I’ll let the reader be the judgeI won’t return here
One of the best! I visited Orange Peel during SBTGRVL and needed a lot of last minute work. Brock bent over backwards to accommodate (and I ended up winning the race). He and his team are awesome and as someone who sees a lot of bike shops, I can say confidently these are true professionals.
Incredible bike shop. Rented two Moots Routt 45s for 3 days of gravel in Steamboat. Brock and his crew did everything to make sure they ran and fit perfectly. It is rare to find a shop like this. Thanks again.
Excellent job fixing/upgrading a recumbent trike. Swapped out the cassette, derailleur, grip shift and chain to a 9-speed setup. Decided to go that route rather than just replacing the 8-speed rear derailleur that had a bent cage.Shifts perfectly now and were back up and running.
Incredible expert service. Thank you so much Brock for fixing my Trek prior to my triathlon. I was in SOS mode for sure and this shop made the appropriate fixes promptly and leaving my bike feel better shifting than what it was before! THANK YOU!!!
Stopped in to browse. Very friendly folks. Picked up a very sweet orange tree t-shirt for my wife. Such a building!
The premiere bicycle store in Steamboat.Where those in the know go.Best prices.Best service.Best rentals.Best inventory.I have personally purchased 4 bikes from these guys.
A+ bike shop, quality service, friendly — took care of our group coming off the Great Divide trail promptly and with no hassle.
Had an adventure race to ride on Saturday in Routt National Forest and destroyed my crankset the Monday before. Took the bike in to my local bike shop and was told they couldnt help until the following week. Spent most of the day Tuesday on the phone to bike shops all over the Denver area to try to find something to get shipped to me and was not able to find a crankset for my older Gary Fisher. Finally used Google to look up bike shops in Steamboat and called Orange Peel. They were extremely helpful and found the part I needed and got it ordered. I brought my bike in Friday before the race at 10 am and they had me out the door before noon. Great service, friendly and helpful. Highly highly recommended.
Very helpful staff, great service.
Great bike shop, awesome staff, superior brands!
Awesome you can use their community bike stand along with tools for.frew. just clean up after yourself
Best shop in the area hands down. The service is worth every penny and maybe a few more.
What a fabulous place to rent or buy great bikes. These folks know their game and can walk you through anything! My downhill bike is (years later) still crushing it.
The employees here are very helpful and knowledgeable. Brock has an encyclopedic knowledge of bicycles. Always a good experience.
Searched 4 bike shops in Steamboat Springs searching for a spoke wrench and finally found just what I needed here. Trippy building, cool shop. LOTS of bikes and accessories.
Staff at Orange Peel are helpful and endlessly resourceful. Best bicycle service I’ve ever had.
Helpful and quick to answer questions about parts and accessories! Wacky building!
I just rented a nicr cyclocross bike from 🍊 Peel and had a great experience. They took time to check the fit and included a flat repair kit just in case.
I was passing through town and needed a new rack, my old one was broken. They got me a new rack and assembled it in 24 hours and agreed to dispose of my old rack. The old rack ate one tire and also had the exact Maxxis model and size tire I needed.
Ok, I gotta talk about the socks. The wonderful, durable, irreplaceable Orange Peel Socks!Orange Peel Bike Shop makes their own line of socks. I was on the GDMBR last August and stopped in. Bought a pair of the Orange Peel socks. Now, I usually buy Pearl Izumi socks as they have been decent. After the first half of the GDMBR, the PI socks had started to fail, which is status quo quality in my experience-to that point.So....I completed the GDMBR with another month of riding, and have continued to ride in my Orange Peel socks since last August. They have not developed holes in the toes like ALL of my previous socks after this much riding! They must be reinforced in the toe section. And the rest of the sock remains in great condition too! And they are VERY comfortable. So, moral of the story: When the person in Orange Peel Bike Shop recommends their socks over the other brands they also sell, take his or her word. Theres a reason. I did, and have found them to be, by far, the best cycling socks I have ever owned. Thanks Orange Peel Guys!EDIT January 2019: Rode across Switzerland on the Alpine Bike 1 route, in the Orange Peel socks in August 2018, then down Italy. Plus some other local riding in CO this fall. Finally, after about 6,000 miles, one of the socks has developed a small hole in the second toe area. New pair on order! Great piece of equipment.
They have great mechanics who can work on any kind of bike: mountain road, tri.
Awesome selection of bikes and one of the coolest bike shops Ive been in
Great staff, quality rental bikes. Thanks for the bikes you rented to me and my family.
Friendly and professional. Cool spot for a shop along the Yampa across from Little Toots and screaming distance to the library.
