I can’t recommend this place more highly. I had the privilege of Jimmy T help me with my rental skis and boots. He went WAY above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable with my gear and having a good time. Every morning he would help me tweak the boots, skis, or poles to get them optimized for me. This was a huge help for a beginner like myself. He even offered to come in on his day off to help try different boots when I was having problems with “shin busters.”I wouldn’t take my business anywhere else. This place has a whole new level of customer service.

Best place ever! I rented ski and snowboard gear from these guys and the gear was all well kept and in good working order.I was super impressed with the two employees that I came across in the lift line. Sean and Orion noticed that I was using their gear and asked how it was holding up. I told them that my son needed a little adjustment to his snowboard bindings. Without hesitation Shawn and Orion asked if they could adjust it right there in the lift line...they werent on the clock and had no reason to help out other than the fact that they are just two great guys!I will only rent from Steamboat Ski and Bike! I suggest that everyone else does the same.I cant guarantee that you will have adjustments in the lift line like I did but I can guarantee that youre in good hands renting from a place where people care! The guys who work here are just awesome. They remain calm and helpful regardless of what you present. They helped me buckle up my boots every day I skied and helped me into a new pair of boots when I struggled with the first pair. They store your rental skis and you take the boots, which have straps that make them easy to carry. This way, you can wear sneakers or snow boots when going back and forth to your lodgings, instead of clunking around in your ski boots. The store gives you a cubby to store things in and this proved really helpful. Highly recommend.

I needed some new foot beds in my ski boots and Mike J. spent a lot of time to explain me how he could improve the performance of the ones I have been using for a long time and which were hurting the bottom of my feet. I left the store with a great understanding of how a better fit could improve my time in my boots and my skiing overall.

The staff is very knowledgeable about the products and offered thoughtful advice and guidance after actively listening to my feedback. As a fairly green skier, they made me feel right at ease. Never felt dumb asking basic questions and they were patient in explaining why they were recommending the skis and boots they did. The demo process was great, super helpful to ski before purchase. Custom boot fitting was also easy. Great experience all around. Will definitely recommend my friends go here first.

Honestly some of the nicest, most knowledgeable ski guys I’ve ever met. Bought a new pair of boots and the custom fitting was 10 stars in my book. Really good rental/demo equipment as well. Don’t waste your time anywhere else.

MJ was absolutely amazing. He was able to take care of the hot spots in my racing boots. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone that wanted to customize their boot fit. The boots I brought in werent even purchased there and yet they attended to them as if they were. Of course I had to pay for the service, however I consider what I paid for what I received to be a very good value.

I went in on the recommendation of a friend to get some custom foot beds (my first ever), and worked with MJ while I was there. He was extremely helpful and very attentive, and went into far more detail than I expected. He made sure that I came back to let him know how the foot beds felt and helped me to fine tune. Travis helped our group with rentals and was super helpful throughout the entire week we were here; very good customer service!I also worked with Mike (MJ) on my boots and he was amazing. Stopped in cause I had some pain in one boot. These guys go above and beyond to make sure everyone leaves as happy and comfortable as can be. I can’t recommend them enough!

Ski & Bike did an outstanding job of fitting boots and skis for myself, children and grandchildren. They went out of their way to make sure everything fit comfortably and was appropriate for each individual skier.

This was our first trip back to Steamboat in 15+ years. We had 4 first time skiing grandkids in tow! The folks at Ski & Bike Kare made it easy for us to rent and return with a perfect fit in between. I would never go anywhere else!

Great service. The guys were very helpful and the board/storage next to the gondola was real convenient.

These guys know the gear, and theyve been on the gear we were looking at. No guessing, more of a that might work, so get out there and ski it attitude, so we can go from there.
