I ordered a caramel brulee late and hot chocolate from this Starbucks and they did not prepare them correctly and missed some ingredients. Hopefully the next time will be better and do not omit the ingredients because of the pressure to prepare the beverages fast.

My first drink was made incorrectly, so I called and they were willing to make me an entirely different drink free of charge. They even gave me a 4$ gift card for my next visit. Above and beyond customer service, I was very pleasantly surprised!! Thank you everyone :)

Sometimes the orders are right and other times it needs to be remade. Sometimes your drinks are ready right away and other times you wait over 35 minutes (no joke). Its one of the 2 Starbucks in Storrs, so you dont have many other options unless you like Dunkin.

The service is great and fast! The workers are very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is casual and great for doing work or catching up with a friend! Sometimes, it can get very very busy, so definitely think about what time youre going in before ordering (online ordering is the best way to go IMO)

This Starbucks is located in downtown area of Storrs, CT. Very close to the main campus of University of Connecticut, or UConn, and right on state route 95. They have great service, baristas have changed over time, but all those I met were polite, patient and well informed. I visited the store frequently prior to the lockdown, and also have picked up my mobile orders from there once the lockdown was relaxed a bit. The drinks i had were delicious as one would expect from a Starbucks.It has a decent size sitting area, both indoors and outdoors, great ambience, pleasant location. But, during the Covid-19 pandemic, the sit down areas were closed and only mobile orders and pick-ups were being offered, understably so. However, their quality of drinks and service is still really good, considering the current limitations.The bulk of its customers are either students, faculty or staff at UConn, with occasional travellers on route 95.Once it reopens completely, itd be a great place within walking distance of the campus for students, faculty and staff, to have casual meetings, or sit down and work on your laptop.I hope it remains solvent and can continues to operate past this difficult time of the covid-19 pandemic.

I ordered online with the starbucks app as I have always done in the past and had no issues. However, this time when I arrived my order was not ready like it said it was on the app. When I went inside I had to wait an additional 15 minutes before the barista asked me what my name was for the order. And I had to wait another 10 minutes because although she gave me my drinks, my sandwich was missing. On top of that I was not greeted upon entering and the baristas did not seem welcoming or friendly. I used to be greeted and asked how I was doing. These two baristas that day did not say a word unless spoken to about order complications ( July 13, 2020 @ 2:34pm) I never encountered an experience like that at this Starbucks location.

No joke, for every 5 coffees I get here 1 is jacked up. Leaving out flavoring is apparently a huge issue....slow down and get the orders correct!!!! For the price I am paying it had better be made right!!!

My fiancé ordered online and I had gone to get it, but I was waiting for a long time before I went up and spoke to someone about it (really upset I didn’t catch his name). I later showed him the order on her phone and he apologized for it getting misplaced. He said he’d have someone make it for me right away and within a few minutes it was ready! I’m a Dunkin person myself, but that was a really awesome experience! And again, I’m really upset that I don’t have his name (he was there around 3:45pm today and he has some tattoos on his arms). But really super helpful! Thanks!

Great place to go and nice people that work here. My only complaint is that it is freezing in here all year round. I come in here in the winter and have to keep my jacket on. Some heat would be nice. I notice everyone else keeps their jackets on too.

This Starbucks is uniquely just off the UConn Stores campus. They offer the standard Starbucks menu, with many snack and lunch options. There is plentiful seating with lounge chairs, as well as a variety of seating with tables for individuals, and groups to read or study. These are well used by local students, but have always found space available.

My 7 year old says, this is dark chocolate first of all, but its not. The hot chocolate was terrible. I spent $4.50 of my hard earned money, for this? Please. Stick to coffee, if you cant figure out how to do hot chocolate.

Tried their Caramel Frappuccino- today, totally awesome. Its like drinking dessert. Service was fast despite long lines on a hot day.The guy working the register as well as the one making the drinks both verified my friends order whether she wanted milk based whipped cream because she requested a non dairy milk. That impressed both of us!

Unprofessional. After waiting 25 minutes I asked for my order and they told me that they don’t have that item. Okay they replaced with difderent but I waited 15 more minutes I couldn’t get the right item. I know it was busy there, so we waited 25 minutes but they didn’t take care of us.

Usual Starbucks experience, fairly busy and especially so during holidays; despite that, they seem to be decently quick fulfilling orders. Still probably a good idea to use their app to pre-order (which I havent tried yet).

Barista was very rude and told me to “Call 1800Starbucks to complain” when I simply asked if we were talking about the same item which she said was discontinued. Luckily I called 1800starbucks and they were very nice and told me that the item wasn’t getting discontinued.

Too busy, too slow. I had to wait fifteen minutes for a cup of coffee. Yes, it was a nice cup of Joe but a person in the throes of caffeine withdrawal should not have to suffer like that. There is a Starbucks in the Price Chopper right next door, no lines, same great coffee. Go there.

Nice Starbucks to hang out in. Has more space and seats than most. Close parking to the entrance is an issue due to the time limits.

I LOVE this coffee! The most delicious coffee and macchiato drinks anywhere! They also have some delicious food and snacks.

Definitely had many bad experiences here. The barista (skinny tall guy with a hat) had the nerve to tell me to chill out when I waited 10 min. and found out that they didnt even know I had an order.

No internet for some time and I asked the cashier she said she can do nothing till technically solved as its been fluctuating!! Come on its 2019

Great place to sit and study (especially since its in a college campus). The best part are the baristas who are super friendly and are always there to make sure your drink order is right. Ive visited a lot of Starbucks but this one is easily the best Ive ever been to.

Amazing staff and nice service. I have been coming to this Starbucks for the past 3 years and it definitely outperforms other venues that I have been to thanks to its great baristas. The warm welcoming and efficient service absolutely make the difference, so that you can enjoy a nice cup of coffee in a cozy place.Now, bear in mind that the coffee shop is close to UConn, so it can get pretty busy and there may be longer lines during exams week or big events. Either way, it is a nice place to meet up with friends, work, or stop by to grab a good coffee.

Great coffee, I mostly like there hot chocolate. The one best thing about them is that they serve you the right temp to not to burn your lips.

Egg in bacon Gouda and egg sandwich was mostly air. Gouda was thin as paper. Montreal Starbucks sandwiches much better!

There was a bunch of UCONN students, I felt out of place. Like I was in an episode of the Twilight Zone. I was terrified that if I stayed inside Starbucks, I would turn into a cockroach...a.k.a. a UCONN student.

Waited over 15 minutes for a drink. The facility was empty and the staff was taking /making online orders before the orders of the small amount of customers that were physically there. I was given no option but to request a refund after finding out there are still a handful of online orders before my simple matcha, and that I have to continue to wait for it . Totally mind boggling 15-20 min and still no drink !

This is the worst Starbucks Ive ever visited. I went on a Saturday night at 10:30pm. There was another woman waiting outside, and we were trying to gain access because they close at 11pm. When there were four different customers waiting and knocking on the door, a man inside waived us away and went back to cleaning without even opening the door to say they were closed- which they shouldnt have been.Ive also gone there when a barista was talking to a girl at the counter (who she clearly knew) the entire time she was making drinks. She wouldnt say what drinks they were, or who they were for- she just let them pile up on the counter while customer stood around wondering if it was for them. Then, she would stop making drinks to talk to her pal with customers waiting. I know theyre college kids, but its a job!!

The best. what more can be said? its a corporate vision which depends on quality people, and this starbucks consistently has the best. kudos to local management for the upbeat staff morale; as for the clientele, ah well, college students are just plain the best people to hang out with. lots of studiousness, zero drunkenness: its what we townsfolk have always dreamed uconn could and should be. as an aside, i should mention the lopsided girls to boys ratio, which i think may be downstream the positive studiousness and negative drunkenness factors, eg, perhaps womens studying and drinking schedules somehow favor starbucks attendance. is this possible? if not, what drives the disproportionate local pretty girl preponderance --- something as simple as unequal enrollment, or perhaps some enigmatic mosaic, with men tending towards athletics, television and hang-overs contrasting to womens priority for public visibility, ambulatory geographic dispersion, the appearance of scholarly activity, and a damn fine reliable cup of coffee. in a final aside, im at work on magical billion dollar app with which these laggard non-starbucks attending men can get themselves the hell out of their dorm rooms to strategically mingle at these anomalous female-saturated hotspots in order to further along the noble effort to perpetuate the human species, long may it reign.

My husband and I are thoroughly disgusted with this location. We have visited this store and have been completely disappointed with our expensive coffees. If you cant hire someone who knows how to make coffee, then they are not the Barista you portray. Keep those people away from the machines and make sure the people making coffee actually care about what they produce. We ordered two, venti caramel macchiato coffees and had to return them twice because they tasted like warmed, watered down milk. We left without a coffee because we were so disgusted....It took us longer to figure out that an eggnog latte isnt really eggnog, its half milk and half eggnog. No one told us this, we had to see a Barista cutting the eggnog in half with the milk and then inquire so that we could actually get what is advertised and what you pay for - AN EGGNOG LATTE! Why are we being cheated for a premium price? Isnt it false advertising? Shouldnt you get eggnog and if you dont like it full strength, ask for it to be watered down not the other way around?! Have some pride in your product and your customers and hire someone who cares and not someone who is just looking for a paycheck. And at UCONN?! REALLY?!

I am a Starbucks employee at a different location, full-time student at UConn, and I absolutely love Starbucks in general- the drinks, food, atmosphere, etc. However, this Starbucks is infamous for sub-par employees aside from a few veterans (and the difference is obvious). Most of the employees do not follow the same routines or standards as other stores, presumably to cut corners, and definitely dont give the Starbucks experience when it comes to conflict resolution. Most of the baristas are there to have a part-time job in college and have some spending money to party with their friends. They do not represent the typical Stabucks employee that truly care for what they do, and isnt necessarily a part-time terminal gig for them. Its just a different set-up being on a college campus, nothing different than what you may expect at Dunkin Donuts though. The store itself is lovely after the recent renovations and worth the stay. I would say, if you want your usual drink or a quick cup of coffee, dont refrain from this location. Although, if youre expecting a stellar Starbucks experience, you may or may not be disappointed.
