Exceptional broker and staff! Both my son and I purchased a vehicle each today we both left satisfied, also process was quick and not an all day affair.. in which I loved! Ask for Abe or Naomi very accommodating ...also, reasonably priced vehicles
I had a great experience with Excel auto. I dont understand what the old ratings are about. The owner Ave and his staff took care of everything with kindness and so professionally. I am very happy with the car I have and havent had any trouble with it. Good customer service and quality with very good value
I bought my new (to me) 2013 Ford F-150 from Abe at excel auto. He was very easy to work with, no pressure, no hassle and no games. He let me test drive several of his trucks they had in stock and when I picked the one I liked that fit my new business needs, he gave me a great price!Been to a few places before I came to excel auto. Most places denied me a test drive after I asked to drive another one on the lot. Glad I found this place. I highly recommend!!!!
Abe is wonderful and a pleasure to do business with. We negotiated all details over the phone, once agreed I drove from Fresno to his lot in Sunnyvale. The whole process took less than an hour there and we were driving off the lot with our new vehicle. Everything was as agreed and described. Small family outfit, but loved the personal service. No vultures flying around. Absolutely will do business with them again!
Hi, I would recommend this place to my friends and family. This is the place to come to for a good car with reasonable rates. There is a variety of cars to choose from and the customer service is great. Keep up the good work. Alice L
I recently purchased a new Outback from Excel Auto and couldnt be happier! I was referred to Joel Benjamine by a coworker who also purchased her car from Joel. Joel spent hours with me (in-person, via email, text, phone, etc.) over the course of two months before making a decision on a model/trim/color. I contacted other dealerships during that time frame and barely got a handshake. I know the car business has changed a lot, but Im the son of a hardcore car shopper - relationships matter, and Joel has a customer for life here because of the rapport he built.
I bought a minicooper that went very bad I paid it completely and they have not sent me my title very bad character of the owner
Was interested in a 7 series BMW, they had one on the lot. Sent a message that I was interested and they called me 3 times asking me to come see it. That it was available and for sale. I went there with my mechanic to test drive the BMW... before we could pull off the lot, they stopped us and told me that they would not be able to sell it to me. So that let’s me know that something was wrong with the vehicle. I would never trust a car from this lot.
Maybe the old reviews are old, but I had a pretty good experience at Excel. I talked to Abe and he set me up with financing (decent APR since my credit is not that good). I brought my mechanic over and he checked out the car and all was well just like the Carfax said. Overall the car has been running well for like 5 months and no issues. My payments have not had issues and the finance company they got me is pretty understanding too if anything comes up.
Very bad service the owner is a person with bad character to attend here and I finish paying
Abe is a wonderful person to do business with. He really worked with me on a Vehicle I wanted. I recommend this place to all.
Great selection of cars, I purchased a Fiat 500 E. Great customer service. Highly recommend!
Naomi was super nice, and let me try the car I had seen in no time. Plus, no sale pressure.
Even ONE star for this Shop is too much !! I wish I could give a negative rating.I will be straight : this car dealer, called Abe, is probably the most useless intermediate car dealer I ever got to deal with. And I came to the conclusion that he is a *Crook*.I would advise *any customer to avoid* his business; avoid this individual at any cost. Hes not a person you should ever do business with. What happened to my friend is unbelievable. She made the mistake to close the deal with him because we couldnt guess that it was even possible to end-up in such a mouse trap. Normally, when customers go through an intermediate dealer for used cars, the purpose is to get his expertise on finding a reliable product. My friend wanted to buy a utility Ford car for her Artistic job (paintings). Her budget was tight : $10000 max with taxes. Obviously its hard to find something decent at this price. But at least our assumption was that car dealers job is about *filtering* the products and making sure the cars are at least in a decent shape. One of the car available turned-out to be a decent choice : the papers of the Ford Transit showed that the whole transmission had been replaced recently !As a funny anecdote, Abe faked being positively surprised by this information (Oooooh, this is your lucky day, madam, look at this paper about the transmission... Ooooh, luck day :-) ). He acted like if he didnt know... which sounded odd, given that hes supposed to know his used-cars...But she got trapped in his game : feeling it was a good sign for a used car to have a rather new transmission.Unfortunately, we discovered few days later that this car was a wreck :- the transmission *never got replaced* : instead, some dude messed with it and did some amateur job of trying to fix it- the transmission papers that Abe happily used as a *bate* to make my friend buy it were *fake* !- the garage that supposedly did the job doesnt exist anymore and was far away (Nevada City)- the identification of this car by DMV seemed complicated : the origin of this car was fishy... not a good signLast but not least, few small other stupid issues happened, too :- dashboard maintenance lights started to blink a week after the acquisition- tire pressure lights blinked a week later- we discovered too late that the roof of the car had lost its paint on huge areas (The problem with Ford Transit is that the roof is so high that its difficult to notice it without climbing on a chair or so). Besides, we would have expected the car dealer to mention it ! Arent dealers supposed to check what they sell ? We think so. Abe probably omitted this detail on purpose. So, my friend ended-up buying him a car that simply *fell appart* almost right after the signature : although we didnt notice any serious problems, while testing it at Excel Auto, the car started to behave in a dangerous way (gear box) on the Freeway. My friend freaked-out and didnt even dare to drive back the 2 hours to get back to Excel Auto, feeling that it could be dangerous. In conclusion, It didnt take more than 72h for this car to start falling appart !Abe had guaranteed a 72h transmission warranty... however, while the transmission already showed serious weakness during these 72h, it took my friend a little more than this duration to have a real diagnostic : the mechanic close to where she lives couldnt work faster. So, unfortunately the mechanic realized that the transmission was a mess and the replacement a fake, but after the 72h Abes warranty. My friend tried to get back to Abe with the argument that she realized the problem and notified Abe (over the phone) about the transmission issue before the 72h limit. Useless to say that Abe totally refused any sort of negotiation, arguing that she exceeded the 72h limit to officially notify him. Conclusion: she spent $10k + additional costs of checks and repair (~$2000) for a car that she cannot trust; cannot resell; cannot use for work : the car transmission is so bad that additional repairs are required !
Such a great place! 5 stars
After several days of communicating the details of the purchase I had my brother drive me over an hour to pick up the car. When I arrived however, Abe took over the deal and immediately starts in with the we need more money down nonsense. I agreed to put 300- additional down. Then he pulls the we need 795- for gap insurance wow. Wait. We already solidified this deal and I am here with everything I needed to fulfill my side of the deal. We had to drive back to Salinas and buy a car. These people are tupical aitomotive scam operation scum bags.
Good experience over all. Honest, direct. He even came by and opened up the shop when they were closed.
Abe will work with what you are looking for we got a good deal at Excel Auto Abe himself helped us tramendously. Our RX 300 Lexus is wondeful drives great along with his own loan for us to purchase the car. Cloths mouths dont get fed so talk to this guy and he will make it work.
