Very bad experience. Placed and order for a ring. They said 1 week for ring to come and 2 more weeks for customization. For 5 weeks they never called or emailed me. I walked in to their store only to find the ring without customization was just lying oh their drawer and they didn’t have any answer to my question. Never got the required ring. Finally asked for refund and still waited for long standing in front of their desk to get refund and the executive was rude and not at all sorry for what happened.

Staff is reasonably helpful, although at the time I went they seemed a bit understaffed. The sales rep I had bought a watch from was not very experienced in sizing watches so it took longer than expected. But overall happy because they helped me find a good deal on a watch I had wanted unlike other jewlery stores in Destiny...

I went to the store on July 20th to purchase a wedding band for my husband. We were getting married on the 25th of July and the ring I wanted for my husband wasnt in his size so he had to order it in his size. Thankfully the store manager still let us borrow the ring for the wedding and we held on to it until we received the new one in his size. I call every week to check in and see when my husbands ring was going to arrive and the response I kept getting was we will call you when it arrives. It should be here next week.“ Weeks go by and still no ring. The last time I called the store manager he said that “my ring was shipped back to his store and they sent it to the nearest Kays in my new location that I just moved too.” Terrible communication on his part to not communicate that to me sooner since its SEPTEMBER and I’m still calling for my ring that I ordered in JULY!! The ring finally arrives to the Kays he sipped it too and my husband and I finally go pick it up (SEPTEMBER 20th) exactly two months since I ordered it. When we get to the store my husband tries on his ring and it doesn’t fit BECUAE HE SENT THE EXACT SAME RING THAT HE GAVE MY HUSBAND TO BORROW UNTIL HE RECEIVED HIS RING IN THE CORRECT SIZE. How do you make me wait 2 months for a my order and SEND ME THE EXACT SAME RING?!!! No adjustments, no change in size, no difference what so ever. We end up having to choose a completely different ring for my husband because the ring I wanted COULDN’T EVEN BE ORDERED IN HIS SIZE! Something the store manager should’ve said when I initially chose his ring. It is September 29 and my husband still doesn’t have a wedding band. Terrible experience!!! Please do not waste your time at this Kays if there in another one in the area go to that one instead. The woman who worked with me here at the Kays in Virginia was much more transparent and super helpful. 10/10 would not recommend the destiny usa location!!!

Went there looking for a Pre owned Rolex, was totally ignored by sales guy, as he was busy talking with his buddy . Discovered they only offer them online and decided to purchase a Tissot . The women sales associate was help, but the male kept making derogatory remarks about the incoming customers . I made my purchase $650 tissot, when I was about to leave I noticed it wasn’t working and gave it back to the sales guy . He said it needed a battery ... 20 plus minutes later he couldn’t put a battery in and the back of the watch would no longer close . He banged on it plenty . He then decided to offer me a loaner until my brand new watch could get fixed . .... I asked him to process a return since I hadn’t even left the store yet . ... huffed as if I was wrong and then processed the return with no apology offered. Wasted and hour of my life trying to purchase a watch to wear to my wedding . Buyer beware

I went there today with my wife to get her engagement ring cleaned.We had bought it there just over a year ago. The sales assistant who helped us choose the ring was polite, friendly and very professional. Unfortunately the two that were in the store today were rude. When we entered the store nobody acknowledged us.Asking to get the ring cleaned seemed to be a real inconvenience.The cleaning took around 30 seconds and then we were dismissed as if we were a nuisance. This was NOT the service I expected.

I’m just disappointed I didn’t get the ring I wanted and selected with a specialist who told me to leave it up to her when she gave my boyfriend her business card...for a birthday gift. and the ring sale ends today, the day I was presented with something I didn’t pick out... If this was a proposal, it would’ve been a bad one.. Do better Kay. Don’t give someone your business card to push them into the arms of another sales person...what was the point in establishing a customer servicing bond just to hand them off to another associate.. Now I have to wait several business days for what I wanted AND pay at full price versus sale price, HAPPY BIRTHDAY said Kay Jewelers. Smh. Not a happy customer at all.

I walked in looking to spend whatever it cost to have the ring of my dreams. Walked around for a while and had to end up asking for assistance. Sold myself on a ring. They shouldnt even earn commission on my sale because I had to walk over and ask every time I wanted to see something. Considering there was only one other shopper in the store they have no excuse for the lack of customer service. Purchased my ring finally. 2800$ later they couldnt even figure out how to use an ipad to send it out for sizing. Left there ring in hand and very irritated and went to the dewitt store. Where they were amazing. Five minutes there I had the Neil Lane box I should have gotten with my ring and sent out for sizing. The destiny store needs some major lessons on customer service and technology. Or just a new manager in general because she was ignorant as hell.

Horrible experience when I sent my ring out for repairs and it came back an entirely different color. Supervisor Ron is very unhelpful and lacks customer service skills needed for an individual in his position.

This Kay Jewelers provides the worst customer service I’ve ever received. I ordered a ring in March 2018 and they gave me an estimate of 6 weeks for pick up, it took 2 months 1/2 for them to have it ready on top of me constantly calling to see what the hold up was. There’s no communication with the customer about the purchase, no status on your purchase either. When I went to pick it up I expressed my issues and the sales representatives had an attitude and were extremely unpleasant! By far the worst experience with any store I’ve ever had, safe to say I’ll stick with Zales, they’re never a let down.

Rude employees, I get mixed information. We will take out business to a different location! I will NOT pay full price for a ring that is on sale. You are OUT of your damn mind. That’s why a sale price is shown, no where does it SAY you have to pay full price because it has to be re sized

This Kay Jeweler location is the best! So far my fiancee and I have only really worked with Shelly, but she is an absolute angel. When my fiancee purchased an engagement ring, Shelly was kind through the whole process and even went out of her way to order him a new ring with a better clarity diamond. The ring came in in half the time she estimated and it is absolutely beautiful. Since getting the ring, we have found a few defects and had very poor service at another Kay location. Today when a stone fell out we returned to the Kay at Destiny and were almost ready to return the ring. Shelly again went out of her way to order us a new ring in the exact size I needed and even called us back later tonight to let us know the order had processed and the exact date that it would be in. The best part is that she let me keep my current ring (only missing a small and hardly noticeable stone) until the new ring came so I wouldnt have to be without one. Shelly has made this whole process a good one for us, even after numerous set backs and has more than earned 5 stars in my opinion.

Today I decided to go to Kays at Destiny Mall in Syracuse. Two clerks were assisting other customers and two sat in office playing on cell phones and totally ignored me. I had to ask for assistance twice, to have my ring inspected and cleaned. Well I supposedly need to send my right out, but I need to pay for repair. I told them that since it is online that there information is not correct. I in fact did purchase warranty insurance for repairs. The gentleman working informed me it was on my solitaire but not on enhancer. Apparently it was purchased at a different times...Wrong...I came home found original paperwork and he was wrong. He was very swift in dismissing me when I asked them to try a different last name. I will continue to get rings repaired according to warranty. BUT NEVER BUYING AGAIN FROM KAYS.

I understand the 1 star rating & would give them 0 if I could. I cannot stand this store. Rude and lazy employees. They refused to service my husbands watch. They said they do not do that there and they would have to go to another Kays store. They even told him he didnt have warranties when he does. Disgusting service. We will shop elsewhere from now on.

They screwed up my ring order, Could not help with my watch I purchased there, messed up my credit card rewards, and they rarely answer there phone... unfortunately I still have to go there until all of these issues are resolved...

In the earlier review a larger colored woman was mentioned. I believe she is a store manager and yes, not educated with jewelry. She doesnt know how to smile or interact with customers; worst of all she doesnt know how to apologize. I will spare the dreaded three year experience but Ive been married for 2 months and kays has had my rings for repair for 6 weeks of that 2 months. At this point I just want my money back and my husband agrees. Id rather buy another ring from Wal-Mart because Im sure the quality and service is better than this store.

So frustrated!! I’ve been trying to pay my Kay’s bill and I’ve had such issues with the sight that my payment has been late and gone against my credit😡 already got rid of the card will not be shopping there again! Awful service, awful website and not even a bill I’m the mail so I can send in a payment...I work the hours they’re open so it’s hard to get time to even call them😡
