Apparently, my woodworking tools arent worthy of the products they sell. After listening to the guy behind the counter go a long rant, my money and I walked out the door. I prefer to support local businesses, but online retailers do not call my shop equipment junk.

The owner was very knowledgeable, I don’t think I’ve ever been in a store of this advanced degree. The owner helped me get what I was looking for and taught me what I didn’t know I needed to know..I will absolutely recommend this store to anyone and be back for sure!

I brought in a 8 month old DeWalt cordless impact gun for warranty repair. The fellow behind the counter refused to do anything with it himself but instead would send to his affiliate in another city. He told me that the tool is not designed to do what it is advertised to do & therefore it was ABUSE (not warrantied). He said that only idiots would buy a tool like this & that I obviously had not chosen the right tool. He then told me in no uncertain terms that this tool (that he sells) is junk & that I should have bought a Milwaukee. I refused to allow them to help me any further & called the company who is sending me a mailer to warranty the tool properly. Wow, very unpleasant to do any business with, apparently still running the company on an old reputation.

I brought in a 6 month old dewalt impact gun to have it warranted. The woman behind the counter is a very rude person. First she said i didnt know how to use the tool correctly and that the forward and reverse switch was my problem. I explained to her twice that the trigger had dead spots and would stay on after i released it.I then gave he my proof of purchase from homedepot online. She said that isnt a real receipt and i needed one from a store. I showed her that it said save for your records on the printout. She then said well i dont know if i returned the drill. I said yes you do it right here in your hand. She the. Accused me of stealing a drill and getting a receipt from a drill i returned 6 months ago... I reluctantly left the drill and advised her to call dewalt and get the approval. She said she would. I called them back a day later to see if she tried to confirm the warranty. She told me she wouldnt call till middle next week. So i suggested that i take the drill and when she can confirm that its under warranty i will bring it right back in. She first said thats fine then as i was about to walk out with my drill she told me just bring it back in when i want them to start the warranty paperwork and that I have 6 months left. She also told me that her hair straightener just broke and that warranty will take 3 months and that her situation is much more important than mine. she told me dewalt makes different types of grades with there tools and mine is a junkdrill. Stay away from this place.
