This acquisition was one that was absolutely seamless from start to finish and required patience and understanding from the Dealership, which I received in spades! Both Reggie and John were truly amazing to work with and made this an unbelievably amazing experience. I cannot thank them enough. I purchased a mini clubman S model here in 2017 and had a great purchase experience back then -- it was quick and easy -- much different than most other dealers. I recently had to contact them regarding the warranty and some service repairs that were diagnosed at another mini dealership. Im really thankful I got Stephanie, their GM, on the line, as she was absolutely amazing to work with! She was responsive, honest, helpful, transparent and went far above and beyond what Ive ever seen any dealership let alone GM of a dealership do for a customer. I really think this sets a new bar / standard for dealing with a dealership (pun intended!). Penske Mini of Tempe is a really REALLY different type of car dealership. If you love getting dragged through the coals, enjoy wasting 8 hours of negotiations and really like to come out at the end thinking you got ripped off, then this dealership is NOT for you! I was very happy with every step of my service. My advisor was very pleasant and greeted me as soon as I came in. My service mechanic was very thorough and filmed everything he saw. My advisor came to me and explained the mechanics recommendations, I didnt feel pressured at all to proceed, was entirely my choice. My bill was very reasonable for what I had completed. The best part was I was in and out with a cleaned vehicle in about 1 1/2 hours.

Where to start with Mini Tempe. You want the best service with genuinely friendly people who care IMMENSELY about you and your vehicle? Well, you’ve found your new mini dealership. I brought my 2016 Mini Cooper S 4 door hardtop to this dealership and here’s what I have to say.The Excellent:- Jim in service is EXTREMELY friendly and cares about getting things right.- Does not offer you services you don’t need and makes sure your car is in top shape.- Jim and the rest of the service team is incredibly transparent, going as far to bring me in the service area to show me exactly what the issue is and recommending solutions even when the problem is not in their direct control.- The parts department is the only friendly parts department I’ve ever experienced. Most car parts department treat you like you know nothing, this one offered actual help and solid recommendations.- Came in with an issue that was going to cost $900 to fix, but Jim went out of his way to contact the Mini Manufacturer and I only paid $60 to fix my sunroof.- Actually drove my car to find the issue and see/feel what I am (rare amongst many dealerships)- Overall pleasant experience.Room for Improvement:- The waiting area was boring as hell, if I have to watch one more Mini Cooper advertisement again I’m going to hurl.- I dropped off a fully loaded 2016 Mini Cooper S and would have appreciated a rental that was in the same tier as my vehicle, not a downgrade.Those are so minor that it really doesn’t bother me. Just some suggestions. I would still suggest this Mini for fast and easy service.

5 star because the guys were great. Got us out in record time, but the windshield has a chip in it. Went in to get a sensor replaced on the 2015 and left with a 2021 JCW GP. Dang impulse purchases...

A clean and social distancing waiting area as I waited for my vehicle to be serviced was number 1!Victor Tellez and the service team were courteous and professional. My requested service and systems check up was completed promptly with no issues at a “non dealership” price ....and without a push for unnecessary services...except for the complementary car wash which a gladly accepted!

Everyone asks why we continue to take our cars to the dealership for maintenance. You could get it done cheaper at a different garage.My answer is Victor and the other service reps and techs are always fair and honest. The whole department communicates very well and I never feel like I have been taken advantage of. I will continue to use Mini of Tempe as long as I own at least one Mini live in metro Phoenix.

Contacted first by telephone and dealt with Efrain in regards to a used mini I had purchased. I knew the car had been into their service department and wanted to find out what services were needed. He requested I bring it in and he would run a diagnostic and advise. Well, the car needed more than I had estimated and I opted to fix some of the things. Efrain was always up front and truthful about service and costs and was great to deal with, I felt very comfortable and would highly recommend this dealership.

Jim the service associate I dealt with was way beyond helpful. He was thorough and explained everything I was having done and what needed to be done in the future. The rest of the staff I encountered were also very friendly and helpful.The overall appearance and cleanliness of the place is well taken care of. My only complaint about that is the lack of hooks in the bathroom stalls in the men’s room. I can’t be the only one to carry a man bag to use the facilities. Easy to overlook if you don’t carry said backpack.While I understand that maintenance covering wear and tear on a vehicle isn’t free, charging for a loaner vehicle and not being given options of vehicle—no matter how cheap the cost of a loaner or how temporary the time—is a bit off putting.All in all, I’m happy with my experience here. Just wanted to be honest about my little things that I know I’m nit picking on.

My sales guy Angel was helpful, informative, low pressure and made the experience easier than I expected.I also actually enjoyed signing the paperwork using their new digital technology. The entire experience was fabulous. From making the appointment, the wonderful way I was greeted and the excellent way my vehicle was repaired. Communication was awesome, I was updated numerous times as the technician, Sam, figured out what was wrong with my vehicle and corrected it. There aren’t enough good adjectives to describe the terrific treatment I received.

I took my car in for service before a road trip. I met James Weiser my service manager. He was professional and courteous and showed me the things that need to be done to my car for it to be running smoothly for a road trip. He explained each one comprehensively. I actually understood what he was saying and what needed to be done.My baby runs like she did when I first got her! It was a lot of work that needed to be done, the mechanic came in early and stayed late to make sure my car was done in time.

Jim in service is nothing short of an amazing person. He immediately recognized the position I was in. He calmly helped me through and talked me through ever part and piece that was needed for my car. He didn’t pressure me. He didnt talk down to me. He didn’t treat me as just another “service ticket”. Found a Mini we liked and did most of the paperwork over the phone before pickup.The pick up process was easy. The car was hand washed, not machined washed like most dealerships.Signed the documents with the finance guy with no pressure to buy the extra warranty.This was almost as easy as buying a Tesla. The sales staff gave us space to walk the lot - no pressure - but were there when we had questions and the dealership had a good selection of vehicles to choose from. We were getting our Honda serviced and decided to walk over while we waited just to look at them. Reggie was very nice and didnt try to hard sell us a new car we arent quite ready for. MINI of Tempe is a great dealership. Terry and his team are great to deal with and the service team is top notch!

Great communication, customer service and transparency. Great at explaining maintenance issues and best solutions. Repairs on a Mini are never cheap, so at least I’m not getting met with snuffy customer service or fake issues. All dealerships will try to upsale you on additional repairs, but this location at least isn’t aggressive about it. All in all, I always have a great experience.

Oil change, fluids, brakes and tire rotation. They got it all doe quickly and professionally. Great service as always!

When I report an issue he always takes it serious and investigates it, no matter how crazy the issue might sound. He understands Im busy and dont have patience to stand around waiting, he always has a loaner ready for me. I am a forever loyal customer because of Doug.

The service repair was excellent. They are very thorough with their vehicle inspection and let me know everything that was covered under Mfg warranty and what was not So I had no surprises.
