A big Meh. Weird vibe, muted flavors in the ice cream. In fact, my shake didn’t really taste like anything at all. Prices were spendy for how small the sizes were. Workers were very nice!

Absolutely top notch. Got the entire 6 people icecream and cookies and brownies plus a tip for $15. Unheard of!Cookies are good too, not hard and burnt. Prices are also linear so you can combine anything however you want and its not more expensive. Love it!

The icecream was good but one of the workers there was really rude. Shes a heavier set girl with dark hair. I would not recommend this place because I will never go back to it again. For me, customer service is key.

I had ice cream sandwiches delivered to work once & LOVED them, so it was a given that I went on a date with my husband later that week. We tried the birthday cake flavor and absolutely loved it. I personally like the chocolate cookie with mint chocolate chip in between. Its so good! Now, I really want ice cream!!

Definitely going to become a new must-stop when were in town. The prices are amazingly affordable. The cookies are the perfect mix of crispy and chewy. And the passion fruit sorbet was absolutely delicious. Great for kids with lots of fun options as well.

I went there for my spouses birthday this past Thursday evening. Although our ice cream sandwich was delicious the girl working there was not. She was unfriendly abrupt and rude. This was our first time there and we drove from north Phoenix to celebrate his birthday. Someone please train her on how to treat people and to smile.

Ordered through door dash... Got the wrong order and the sandwich that was one that I did pick had burnt cookies ...really dissatisfied. Especially when their cookies are normally soft and chewy.

First time there and it was delicious. There cookie were so good and them they made ice cream sandwiches with them. The combination of the two just melted in your mouth. There was 7 of us together everyone got something diferent. We all were very happy. Its a small place not fancy but comfortable. My brother and his wife to us there.

Rude!!!! Woman serving the counter intupts us in the middle of ordering to yell at another customer that walked in without a mask. Wow. So rude we walked out without ordering. Do not recommend.

Speedy service from polite employees. was there on a weekend and it was a little busy but the line continue to move quickly. I never see oatmeal cookies which makes me kind of sad but I definitely enjoy the taste of the cookies that they have. Its a fun experience to be able to make your own ice cream sandwich at an affordable price. I enjoy taking people here that are visiting. Its an enjoyable experience.

I first called the store and asked to place an order “to go” and when someone picked up the phone they told me that if I wanted to order I just had to come in. I then drove to the store and placed an order in the store for 4 ice cream sandwiches. I immediately bought them home less than 5 minutes away just to have the ice cream completely squish out between the cookie on the first bite. Not impressed.

Great prices, other places on mill ave overcharge

The staff was nice. The ice cream was very soft, almost at a soft serve consistency but cleary it came from an ice cream container. This made eating an ice cream sandwich challenging as is all seeped out the sides after one bite. The two flavors of ice cream we got were nothing special. Not bad but kind of basic. Id go so far as to say its generic. The cookies were good but were a bit too cold. The value is actually good but still not great quality.

This is a surprisingly affordable little hole-in-the-wall joint on Mill Avenue offering ice-cream sandwiches at pretty low prices.You can also just buy cookies, and they are really cheap if you get the day-old cookies. They know their starving college student crowd well.This would be a good cheap spot to stop in as you walk at the end of a date.

We came here cause my boyfriend loves ice cream and cookies. The store is rather small with limited seating. The worker wasnt friendly, didnt smile, just wanted to get our order over with. Probably a long day, I dont know. I got 2 scoops of ice cream and my boyfriend got an ice cream sandwich. While we were eating he said his tasted funny. I took a bite and the cookies tasted off. I bake a lot and the cookies tasted like when you leave a cake uncovered in the fridge and the frosting gets that weird refrigerator taste. Its hard to explain, but it was weird I never had a cookie that tasted like that. Good ice cream, but a pass on the cookies.

They had really great cookie options that included my favorite, Red Velvet! The ice cream was very delicious as well and the both of them just made my whole day seem so much better. Ill be going there again and bringing more people with me! I will also add that the whole process of getting the ice cream sandwich cookie was really fast which made it that much better.

As a college student, Im a huge fan of the value play. Oftentimes, this means I sacrifice flavor for cost. At Slickables, this could not be further from the truth. For $2.50 you get a fantastic dessert. Delicious baked cookies around a large scoop of an ice cream flavor of your choice. No matter what you pick, you cant go wrong. I wish they had one in South Bend.

Im happy this place is still around. I think this is one of the best values in town. I mean cmon a hand scooped ice cream sandwich for $2 (is it still $2?). When you consider the alternatives and their costs, this is a bargain! Love this place.

This place is one of a kind! Ive never been to a place where you can create your own ice cream sandwich!! You can pick any two fresh baked cookies from 10 choices, and any one flavor ice cream from 10 choices! Then they create it for you right there! Did I mention it is only $2?!! It was so yummy. I have enjoyed Slickables on many occasions. The experience is consistently simple and delicious. They always have a simple variety of ice cream and perfect paired cookies to make fresh cookie ice cream sandwiches. They have the basic options for ice cream treats as well, but the cookie-ice cream combo is the core of their business. Cookies are always soft and fresh. The Tempe location doesnt have much seating. The Mesa location is bigger. Its always yummy.

The customer service was pleasant and the shop was clean - the only reasons I gave the place any stars. The food, unfortunately - not so great. The ice cream tasted more like frozen yogurt, and the cookies/brownies were not warmed up. We ate them cold and crisp.

For only 2 dollars, you can pick your choice of two cookies and your ice cream flavor, to which will be used to make your delicacy. After that, you just have to enjoy. Unfortunately they dont have oatmeal raisin cookies, since it didnt sell well.

Stopped into Slickables today to visit my clients and had a wonderful ice cream sandwich yet again. I like being able to choose my cookies and ice cream to make a custom ice cream sandwich. They use high end ice cream, the cookies are chewy. The store is clean and inviting. I especially like the value. A $2 ice cream on Mill Ave cant be beat.

Their selection isnt huge, but the quality of the cookies and ice cream is enough to rate it 5 stars. The milkshakes are smooth and made from scratch using the ice cream of your choice. They cost just as much as those from Steak n Shake next door but are way better.

Saw this place driving through downtown Mesa (not the Tempe one listed). I instantly knew I wanted to take the kids here. Came today after school and was very impressed. Got to choose our own cookie and ice cream combo. Chose 3 different combos and each one did not disapoint! The price is even better at only $2 per sandwich. Did I mention the cookies are made daily? I will be coming here often! Great ice cream sandwiches, great prices, and great location!

The reason I didn’t give it the 5 stars is becuase every time I go the employees are always so aloof, like they don’t even want to be there and seems as if they look u from head to toe . As a costumer it makes me feel uncomfortable.

I googled deserts. Slickables popped up last on the list. That- shouldve been a sign. I will NOT recommend this place as there are TOO MANY better options. I mean, Baskin & Robbins (minus the cookie) is one. However, it WAS the cookie that drew me IN! The cookie was really, really, hard but only on one particular part (weird). The ice cream did NOT stay in-between the cookie! I was gonna sit inside but the chair & table was so nasty I got up & ate in my car! Lastly, I asked for a bathroom to wash my hands before eating a hand held icecream. There isnt one. Oh, and the PRICE IS MORE when you walk in ($3.50). $2.50 online! Ugh, Dis-A-Point-ING!

Ive never had such an amazing dessert. Being able to mix and match, and build your own ice cream sandwich wad amazing. Then on top of it, the prices were very affordable. I was thoroughly impressed. I would recommend to everyone.

Cookies we chose were Snickerdoodle & white chocolate macadamia with salted caramel ice in the middle. It was fantastic. Friendly service, good with everything including the price $2. Cookies so soft

Really inexpensive desert. You can mix and match cookies and ice cream to create whatever combination youd like. There is normally only one person working so if it gets busy, you will have to wait a while. Sometimes the building is hot and the ice cream will be partially melted, but I suppose thats out of their control (being in Arizona and all).
