Grew up on Dairy Queen for many years now. Their oreo blizzard is my first choice in desserts whenever I get a chance to get one. Their taste hasnt changed, and it always brings back memories of stopping at a DQ after a sport game with the team. I love getting my dogs pup cups whenever we go through. My dogs cant have anything too sweet or theyll get sick but they are fine with this. After going here for years, I highly recommend you stop by and get a blizzard!!!

I went through the drive thru a full hour before they closed, and they were out of key items on their menu (pretzels, chocolate ice cream, and more) and the employee working the drive thru thought that was pretty funny because she kept laughing after they were out of every single item I tried to order. Ended up driving away and getting ice cream from a nearby gas station instead.

Still delicious and wonderful, always makes me smile to get a tasty treat like if I was a kid again... Definitely a family favorite especially during the summer time.

Do not order an ice cream cake from here! I’ll add a photo of the cake they ACTUALLY GAVE ME & had me pay almost $30 for!🤯 I wrote an email to DQ customer service and haven’t heard anything back. So disappointing!Update: Finally was contacted by someone about this and they said, “we are currently coaching some individuals on their penmanship, so the cakes that get ordered on the fly, look decent.” Then they offered me 50% off my next cake purchase (which will not be happening😂). I responded that this cake was a pre-order and not ordered “on the fly” and I never heard back (it’s been a month now since I responded). Really bad customer service for sure. They don’t even care about this atrocity.

I had a life or death mission to find and acquire a Cookies and Cream ice cream cake. After 3 failures, I find out that DQ does not make a cookies and cream, its an oreo cake. I then called every store in the area in Tempe to find one and only this DQ on southern had a mini one. Taylor knew I was the person who just came in looking for cookies and cream. She pulled it out reserved for me. Then after I couldnt get 41 in candles, she then found me a happy birthday sign and put it on the cake and decorated the top for me and smiled the whole time. Taylor has earned a loyal customer to this store!!! Thank to Taylor and her other co-workers for making this mission a successful one and thus saving my life.

I have been sitting in DQ for about an hour watching the people come in and out (I attached photo of receipt to prove that I am here). It is a hot summer day, lunch time, kids are out of school and people have been coming in to get their lunch and icecream BUT there is only one employee member in the entire building (the poor thing also looks fully pregnant). Although she has been juggling the drive thru and counter as best as she can being that she is only one person I have watched at least 4 people walk out of DQ without ordering because the one and only employee cant take their orders on top of drive thru fast enough. At lunch time on a hot day there should be more than one employee in a fast food location.I personally was bummed that there is no chicken tenders and fries at this location but I now know that this location doesnt fry food.

The young man who waited on us today was a real hustler! There was only one other employee and the outside line was full. Despite the fact that 8 people walked in after our 7 item order, we had our food quickly, as did others. Kudos to that young man!!!

Ordered through DoorDash a banana split with different toppings than the norm. First, the banana split didnt have any banana and the toppings came with all the usual items vs. the custom items we requested. When we called the store vs. DoorDash to share our experience, we were told they ran out of bananas and that they sent someone to the store to get more. Well, we simply didnt get what we wanted or paid for and that kind of mistake deserves to be corrected. Nothing has been done to resolve this. I dont think expecting to get what you paid for is an unreasonable request. If you didnt have any bananas, you shouldve communicated that to us through your delivery app. Sounds like your staff needs some training on customer service.

Its ok. I thought Id try the Blizzard they keep talking about on their advertisements. It didnt feel as creamy as normal ice cream would be, and it turned out to be too sweet for my liking. I only finished halfway and had to throw the other half away.The service was good though. I like how the cashier did the trick of where he flips the blizzard cup upside down and it doesnt fall out, and he was helpful in answering my questions about the menu.

The man serving us, Gabe I believe, was astounding! I could definitely tell his smile was genuine, mine was too, as he served me my food. He had my large order 100% right, it truly made my night.

Accommodated my request to not have the blizzard blended with no questions - it was to avoid possible gluten contamination. 10/10

Awesome service. The young man who took my order(his name was Gabe) was super nice and he made sure I got everything. Great experience!

I really like the available seating. There is a nice, open conversational area that my girlfriend and I used to wait for our meal. Then there are booths in the restaurant and outdoor seating for dining. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Id say it only took less than five minutes for the staff to prepare our food.

The store manager Sebastian was extremely welcoming and friendly. I knew off the bat that he was some type of manager or lead of the store because of his easy going and confident personality! I will definitely be coming to this location again!

I went there with my 8 year old son at 2:30 pm on a Friday. There were only 2 people working at the time. We waited 20 minutes for our icecream. Our order was correct but my son was ready to leave 15 minutes before we were served.

This place has the best cherry dipped cone and my son got an Oreo milkshake. Everyone is polite. The price is right.

I guess Dairy Queen is not doing burgers and chicken tenders anymore? At least not at this location. They do have food but is only chili dogs, wraps, and grilled chicken sandwiches. They have all the ice cream options, but if your going for food, just a heads up your options are limited.

I went to DQ a couple days ago and one of your employees told me the funniest joke Ive ever heard! He really made my day. His name was Gary, or maybe it was Gabe. Anyways, tell him thanks for his wonderful customer service.

This place is always clean and makes great desserts. Everyone that works here is great, but two of the new hires really make this DQ stand out. Im pretty sure their names are Grace and Maria. They are always so fast and friendly to all of us! And I swear they have some magic touch on the blizzards... They are the true queens of dairy. Good hiring!

Went through the drive-through. Was told to pull into a parking spot so they could make my sandwich. Waited 10min went in side they and they Had not started making it. Waited another 10 min and they bring out a sandwich I didn’t order. Come on dq 20min for a sandwich?! There wasn’t even any one in the store.

The staff are nice, but they got my order wrong a couple of times. The orange julius menu is really basic. They dont have addons besides a banana, so no protein or vitamin c . Wish they would expand the flavor options.

There was a long rush right before closing time on 4th of July and the employees handled the orders with a smile and did everything exceptionally will.They also did this cool thing where they flipped the ice cream cup upside down and it didnt fall out! I guess it was frozen pretty well. I always enjoy a good Blizzard

I had gone to two other Dairy Queens to get the blizzard that I wanted. The prior two, Warner and the 10 and rural and Elliott, told me they couldnt make a mocha chip Blizzard. The manager assured me at Elliott that if she used other coffee products it wouldnt taste good. We then went to the third dairy Queen, and the associate was more than happy to try using the other products. It tasted even better than the original mocha chip! This DQ went out of its way to get me what I wanted.

We had Blizzards and Sundeas that were well made and a wonderful snack.

So me and my sister ordered the same thing different transactions and mine came out to more money. First problem2nd problem is i ordered extra oreos in both medium sized blizzards. And both only had enough. I know extra oreo. And my friends those were no extra oreos. I dont want my money back I want two med. Oreo extra oreos blizzards. I have my receipt and my blizzard still cause I wasnt gonna eat it.

I liked this location. The interior had a nice layout. There were traditional booths as well as couches to sit and enjoy your frozen treat.

First off the service was awesome! I would have giving more stars and the only reason I didnt was it was awful warm in there I dont know if theyre running on swamp cooler or what but if they do have AC it was not working very well.

This is an older location and is in need of some updating. The ice cream was your typical dairy Queen product. History of Dairy Queen was outlined on the wall along with photos showing the progression over the years. They offered a small dining area as well as what looked like a waiting room set up with a couple of chairs and a loveseat. Free parking and is close to the University so gets a little bit of student traffic. If you are craving a cone or dilly bar, you will get what you can get at any other DQ.

Great service. Staff was really friendly! I ordered a French Silk Pie Blizzard with strawberries which isnt on the menu officially, but they had no trouble whipping it up, no questions asked either!

The blizzards were good but service was awful. First their computer systems are so old and flaky. This is the second time Ive gone in there and they have had an issue. Finally we went through the drive thru when they handed us our blizzards they did not check the upside down truck and they gave them to us with out lids. When we asked for lids they gave us a drink carrier. When we asked again for lids he said they were out and put sundae lids on them after we insisted we have a lid.

The treats were great, as always, but the training for the servers is not effective. There was no fun atmosphere. Management: Give the employees a reason to smile, and theyll return the favor. Also, there was a heavy smell of cleaner the whole time. It was not a pleasant smell.

I’ve ordered my daughter’s birthday cake there 3 years in a row. 1st year they misspelled her name and it was not noticed until I took the cake out of the box when it was time to sing. Last year I ordered the cake weeks in advance. Pick it up and drive to Kiwanis park. In that 4 mile drive the cake completely melted all over the back of my suv (it was November). I offered to show the manager pics of it melted. I was beyond furious, my daughter had soup instead of cake and I had to go get it professionally cleaned so it didn’t smell like sour milk. They did refund me, however, the person that did the refund the following day seemed extremely irritated as if I made the cake an hour prior and expected soft serve to last more than 10 mins. This past Friday, 11/22/10, I picked up her cake. I ordered an Oreo blizzard cake. The cake ended up being vanilla ice cream with an insane amount of crunchie chocolate cookie (more than actual ice cream) and fudge in the middle. I did not order a vanilla cake nor did I order fudge. I placed the order at the counter about 2 weeks prior and I had to ask the young girl taking the order numerous times to actually write down the words Oreo blizzard cake. I called the day prior to make sure it was made because I didn’t want a repeat from the year before, melted. He said yes and I even said ‘it’s an Oreo blizzard cake, correct?’ Kid on the phone was very polite and said yes it’s a blizzard cake. It was not. I guess bright side- it wasn’t melted and her name was spelled correctly. I will not be purchasing a cake ever again, they’ve lost my business. $44 for a cake that was not what I ordered is ridiculous. I still have some cake, I’ll try to post a photo of the proportion of cookie vs ice cream. You’ll either laugh or cry tears of wth. :(

Decent staffing, never really see the same employees so timing is sometimes an issue. Always good treats though.

I ordered 2 items pretty simple items and was repeatedly ask my order over and over again.When I got up to the window to pay I paid they gave me my 2 items and when I got home with the items they had given me a small ice cream cone which I had ordered and a chicken salad which I had not ordered. I called the place a few days later because that evening they had already closed. Was told I could not get a refund but if I brought the item back with the receipt that could make me a new one at this point all I want is a refund. I will never go to DQ again it is very disgusting and service is really bad.

Maybe Im old fashioned, but almost $8 for a small cone and sundae seems a little steep, then charging .89 cents for nuts is well nuts. Plus they dont serve coffee..

I go here every once in a while. Two of the times Ive been, they handed me my blizzard with the lid on and didnt flip it. I didnt call them out on it either time because I trusted them and didnt want to be difficult. Both times they were melted. The fact that the lid was on (they normally leave it raised up for you), and they didnt flip it, tells me that the employee knew it was melted and didnt say anything to me about it. Long story short, if they dont flip it or the lid is on there, open and check before you drive off or you might be cleaning blizzard off of your floor.

Just had the worst banana milk shake I ever had at Dairy Queen. This is not the first time this location failed to make my ice cream order properly. For now on I’m going to drive to one of the other locations. I don’t care how New a store is if they can’t keep it clean.

I ordered a butterfinger blizzard and it was just off... It tasted like cough drops after a couple spoon fulls so I stirred around and found what was clearly NOT butterfinger bits in the ice cream. I threw it away immediately and am afraid to ever come back to this location.
