Always clean and plenty of employees...aisles wide and usually clear...today they are bringing out some winter product so a couple aisles semi blocked. Sporting goods well stocked but lacks a good selection of handgun and rifle ammo. Clothing and hardware well stocked and very clean.

The stores stock is cool and all, some things are a bit pricey though. However, the rewards program is the worst part, especially how much the poor employees have to explain at the checkout if you sign up. Terrible experience having to painfully sit there while they go into the detail (that they are required to) while a line builds behind you, glaring at the back of your head. Also, having to remember to cancel your rewards so you dont get charged $12 a month? Ive never been to a store before that charges for a rewards program...

Unique items... for a younger crowd as far as novelties and shirts go but the movies selection is good

Nerd heaven. I go for the movies and they typically dont disappoint.

In October of 2018 I shopped in this store. The cashier signed me up for a trial membership for the VIP backstage pass to get a discount on my current purchases. As any consumer I was excited about the discount. Which probably came to about $12. She gave me a whole pamphlet of information on this membership. She stated that if I canceled within 30 days that I would not be charged. Within the 30 days I went online and I canceled the subscription. According to the directions in the pamphlet. Fast forward 2 1/2 years. I was scrolling through my credit card statements because my Amazon account had been hacked and I was looking at the charges to make sure that they had all been reversed. While looking through them I found this charge for $11.99 from FYE. It actually took me a little while to figure out what it even was and to remember. I called my credit card company and found out what I could do and I realize that I have been paying $12 a month for the last 2 1/2 years. I have never used the subscription for anything. They would only cancel the subscription and credit me for 4 months😢 I wouldn’t recommend signing up for this to save $12. In the long run it cost me $215!

We took over 500 dvds to Tom at Fye and he did not hesitate to take 4 hours to get us what we needed for them. They buy used dvds anywhere from .10 to 2.50. They were awesome!

I recently went into the store just to simply get my two children those silicone popper toys when a man approached me that works there and said I was not allowed in the store unless I had a mask I explained to him that I was exempt and I could show him my card but he told me to please leave the store and that they do Not except people that have exemptions. I then contacted The ADA which I am protected under and the are opening a police investigation against this company. This worker discrimated against me and I am not a happy customer. Hopefully they will go about there way differently next time.

You didnt have what I was looking for specifically, but Im happy I got to replace some CDs I grew up listening too. Hope you get more music CDs in the store in the near future.

Movie and music selection is expansive and employees the employees were pleasant. The only complaint I have are how much higher the prices are than other stores under the same franchise.

Fun and lots of gift choices! Good prices and fully stocked! Worth the trip to shop in person.

We enjoyed our shopping experience with them. The staff was very knowledgeable about their animae.

Its unfortunate, but the store seems less and less stocked. I find less and less music that interests me and more merchandise. It is one of the last bastions for CD collectors and it makes me sad.

I got exactly what I was looking for. My only complaint was at check out. Just ring my stuff up, I dont care about your promotions, and Im not interested in giving my phone number, or email.

Its not bad. They dont have a large selection of most things but what they have is typically interesting. Not many shirts but what they have are pretty cool and not offensive. They actually sell duff beer here from simpsons. Some Japanese imported snacks. Id say its a nice selection of collectable toys but they always feel a bit in shambles. The containers the figures are in feel dusty or a bit roughed up. Certain days they have some beautiful big figures but most of the time they are sold out of those. If ur looking for physical in person marvel figures, this is the place. For predator Id try bam across the road... Unless they get some of the larger figures in stock again... That also applies to Godzilla figures.

Wide range of unique pop culture related merchandise at readonable/average prices. Friendly staff!

Nostalgia and anime shop from what i seen.Check it out if you wanna feel cool, but not be cool..And no i am not just sayin that cause i cant afford anything there.

My children and I love coming in here. My children love their candy area, which features a lot of unusual candy I havent seen in many other places. There is a large variety of items in here- small toys, CDs, vinyl, movies, music, and more. Staff are not always friendly in here, sometimes they are the biggest downside of coming in here.

Nice calm and clean environment. Loads of cool movies vintage and mainstream. Also very exotic mechanfise. If you happen to be around definitely worth going in and checking the place out. Guarantee youll find something you like among the Cascades of novelty.

Its a cool store to walk around in. There is a good selection of stuff. I found the tshirts to. E over priced but they did have a sale so that help nudge me in the right direction. I felt like I could get most of the DVD online for cheaper. But again the did have a sale on older movies that made me feel better about buying them.

FYE is my all time favorite place to go to buy my DVDs. They also always have some cool odds and ends like speakers, foreign foods/candy, tv themed foods&clothing.

Love this store. Wish they had a better selection of reality TV shows like they did before. But the best place to find entertainment anywhere in Traverse City.

Great movie selection

One of my favorite stores in the GT Mall! They have great deals on used movies, shows, and music. Lots of fun pop culture memorabilia, especially all of the Japanese pop culture goods. Buy a manga, a toy, a movie, an album, and some clothes all in one shop. Conveniently located adjacent to the food court, and directly across the hall from GameStop :)

Love the selection of music, movies, and TV shows. Also bought a couple Pokemon related merchandise. Happy to shop here when Im in the area.

What else can I say about this store freaking awesome about a Bluetooth speaker there normally for 60 bucks but they knocked it down to 20 at the hell of a deal I got all kinds of records and movies and books you wanted you dont want to miss this.

Went in to pick up a used copy of the preacher season 1 on bluray. But you can get it brand new on the website cheaper then a used copy in the store. And they wont price match there website.
