I’ve been going to Snapper Grabbers for year and have always had good service and enjoyed a good selection of fresh seafood. The land and sea is fairly new and I have had lunch once and it was good as well. Service seems a little slower on the land side but maybe that’s because it’s more of a restaurant than a market. All in all good folks and good products. I’ll definitely be back.UrbanCowgillSept 2021

Stopped by for the first time to buy shrimp and left with more! Red snapper and gumbo… oh my goodness!!! Amazing!!! They were busy, but I received prompt and excellent service! Gumbo was the best I’ve ever had! I can’t wait to go back!!!!

Absolutely amazing beautiful fresh seafood! I went to get Wild Steelhead Salmon steaks on a friends recommendation of the store! Definitely was not disappointed and well worth the drive. Fish was so fresh, workers were so friendly & helpful! Will be my place for seafood!!

This place is great. Fresh seafood. And the steak bomb sandwich is phenomenal. They have a huge fish and seafood market as well if you want to take something home to cook as well as a great meat selection with hand cut steaks and other rare finds. Also a huge wine selection. Its a small place but worth it

OMG! This was my first time here and I ordered the Bama Baby Catfish Basket! I was NOT disappointed! I got my food as a pick-up order, and it smelled so good in the truck, I could not wait to get back to my office to eat it! The catfish was light and fried perfectly, the kettle chips were great, and the Creole Tartar sauce was a nice touch.Also, the girl who helped me with my order was really nice. I really hate the Cafe is only open until 2pm, because I would love this place for dinner!

Great lunch spot but, they recently changed their menu and removed one of our favorites. Please bring back the Nashville Hot Shrimp Po Boy!

I bought a 3.5 lb beef tenderloin for Christmas dinner. It was an excellent cut of beef. The tenderloin here is always the best....always better than other places I have tried.

Lunch today was wonderful! The food was perfect! Fried catfish was so yummy and the voodoo po-boy was great! The bread pudding was divine! The only thing better was the service! Not disappointed at all!

I was actually going to chik Fila for lack of a better option when I noticed this place. Was in and out in 10 minutes, everybody there had a good attitude, and the place was spotless. I had the steak bomb and it was delicious, I took it 20 minutes down the road to my next stop before I could eat it and it was still so hot I had to let it cool off! Will definitely be back! Thanks guys!

There are way more options than this place. First off the manager/owner should get rid of the lady with the long black hair that sometimes takes the orders. She looks as though she would rather be somewhere else. SHE IS HORRIBLE. Portion sizes are to small for what you are paying, you are better off getting chic-fil-a across the street. AVOID this place if possible.You will know the cashier lady, she’s mid 30’s but looks a hard 45 with long black hair.

This is a really cute little cafe/butcher/fish monger. I had the Spotted Pig PBLT and absolutely loved it. The staff is friendly, they do everything in house, and the decor is very charming. Definitely where Im going to get my fish from now on. I feel a scallop dinner coming up soon.

Fantastic selection and great prices!!

The oysters and scallops were amazing. I recently moved to Bham from Virginia, where oysters are readily available. Snapper Grabbers oysters were just as good as any oyster from home, and the scallops were enormous. My wife loved them. Kent and Tim were very friendly and knowledgeable about their products and I definitely plan on going back.

Excellent personal service at Snapper Grabbers. Bought meat for burgers on Memorial Day weekend 2017. Best grilled burgers we have ever made at home. You wont go wrong here - they have my highest and best recommendation!

Just finished a great shrimp and scallop fettuccine made at home and topped with a yellow roe. Visiting the area so I will miss this! My hosts plan to visit regularly. High standard seafood and quality customer service.

Absoutely excellent, quality seafood. We bought red & black snapper and king salmon. I fish in Alaska; and this is every bit as fresh as the salmon we catch and cook, there. Same thing with the snapper. Just as perfect as the snapper we catch and cook on a charter boat. Dont miss this place.

Im kind of a seafood snob and this is only one of two places in Birmingham I will buy seafood. Always the freshest, highest quality. The staff are very helpful and can tell you the best way to cook it if youre unsure.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience today at lunch after Bistro V booted our reservation since we were a bit behind due to a work meeting, but thats a story for another day. We walked in and the Snapper Grabber owner noticed that we had 9 in our group and, after the friendly and helpful cashier took our order, he immediately went about helping us get two tables set up so we could all sit together. As the poor review states, its no Chick Fil A, but thats why its amazing! It has a fairly large, unique wine selection to bring home or for there, and wonderfully fresh seafood plates, poboys, and sandwiches, along with chicken options to boot! It was also fairly quick considering that they had to fresh cook my delicious mahi sandwich along with 8 other meals! This is by far my new favorite Vestavia restaurant and Im sad I hadnt tried it sooner. Thanks for a great experience at lunch today!

Snapper Grabbers has the absolute best meat and seafood around!

A great lunch/dinner spot with a great mix of seafood sandwiches, salads and regular entrees that taste great and is quite well priced.

Both the market and food truck have top notch seafood. Get fresh Cajun fare here. Highly recommended.

Ordered shrimp low country boil for 12 ppl and picked up. Everything was amazing, including Chef Tims customer service and knowledge. Quality rivals any seafood market at the beach.

Very very fresh! The shrimp is grrrreat! So good this is my 3rd weekend doing a low country boil! They have awesome boils too! Swamp Fire and Slap Yo Momma are my favs!
