Since I started working from home full-time back in March, my existing chair was giving me back pain. I tried purchasing an office chair from Amazon and also went to Office Depot, Staples, and two other local office supply stores and none of the chairs were suitable for my back. I realized that I should invest in a solid ergonomic chair and not get something cheap because I consider my current productivity and long-term health very important.Bob was very helpful and attentive in helping me select a chair. He knew the ins and outs of all of the products and answered my detailed questions about how they compare to other popular chairs on the market. He was also well-versed in ergonomics and spine and posture issues. I decided to go with the X-Chair. I think all of the products are thoroughly vetted by Relax The Back and ergonomists. I received my chair this week and assembled it. Bob has been very responsive in updating me on the shipping and making sure I was able to assemble everything, which was fairly simple. I highly recommend visiting this store and trying the chairs or other products out.

Nice location with lots of items to choose from. Sitting in a few chairs I found them to be very comfortable. After seeing the prices, they were way overpriced like any furniture store. I know you pay for quality and comfort but if you have time, you can drive to Atlanta and get the same quality products for 30% less.

The products at Relax the Back are outstanding. But the greatest thing about RTB is Bob Duncan! If you ever need a friend, visit Bob at his store in Vestavia Hills. My wife and I drove from Thibodaux, La to Birmingham to try out chairs that might help my chronic back problem. The SuperNovo Massage chair is helping me more that steroid injections, chiropractors, yoga, exercise and the many other things I’ve tried over the last 46 years of chronic back pain. Gerald was most helpful in explaining in detail the options for zero gravity chairs and the advantages of each chair. The chairs on the floor reflected the features of the chairs in which we were interested. Gerald patiently demonstrated every aspect of the chairs. We decided on our chair a week later. We selected Perfect Chair PC 600-Pad 801 Omni Motion Silhouette which fit Jeanne perfectly. Within 10 days, our order was filled and our new chair was painstakingly demonstrated in our living room by Bob, the franchise owner. We love our new chair and look forward to many years of relaxation.

The gentleman that helped me I believe his name was Gerald. He was very helpful in assisting me into finding the correct office chair that would be most beneficial to my lower back condition. All the way from the type of chair, fabric material and stitching. Overall cost of chair was higher than I expected but definitely worth it. The way I look at it, if I’m going to spend 1/3 of my day on a chair, with chronic pain, it’s worth every penny when I head home, I don’t feel like I’m exhausted from dealing with the physical pain I deal with. The chair helps in eliminating the pain I would normally accrue during the day with other chairs. Not with this one.

Lots of cool things inside other than just chairs such as massagers, chair cushions, back rests, pillows, etc. so its definitely worth checking out! I have purchased several things from this store and am completely satisfied with everything I purchased. I only had to return one item and had no issues with the return process. The staff is very knowledgeable about their products and very friendly. The products they sell are very much high quality and are definitely worth the money. I work from home a few days a week and having a comfortable, ergonomic chair is a must for me. I made the decision to spend the money and upgrade from a crappy chair I bought at an office supply store to something that was much better suited for sitting for long periods of time. If I was going to spend the money I also wanted it to last a long time. They had several options in store to choose from and try out. I ended up going with a Lifeform chair and I absolutely love it.

Gerald did an excellent job explaining the features of each and every item I was interested in. His product knowledge is impressive. I came in for the Lumbar Extender Plus and purchased it right away after Gerald explained the usage of the product and allowed me to try it in the store. He also explained and demonstrated the benefits of the zero gravity chairs, mattresses, pillows, and massage chairs. I tried several of the massage chairs during my two visits in the store and plan on purchasing one in the near future. Excellent store and excellent service!

I appreciated not only the prompt and attentive service but also getting someone with experience and/or knowledge about all the products I asked about. The only downside is that all of it comes at a price. Id give five stars but I feel like most items could be priced more competitively.

Bought a pillow and thought it was comfortable during the two day trial, but after trying to sleep on it, I quickly realized it was the source of all the neck pain and headaches I was experiencing. Unable to return or exchange the product. Very expensive, made neck and headaches worse, and non refundable.
