This store and the manger are absolutely despicable. 21 days of beauty happens twice a year, the prices online are always the same in store no if ands or buts. I went into this store to pick up the IT Cosmetics foundation which was 50% off today along with the brush and brush cleaner as it was the last day of the sale. There are signs they printed from the computer on the IT display when you first walk in as well as by the IT aisle stating you have to purchase ALL 3 items that were on sale for $43.50 (which happens to be the value of all three items at their discounted price). I went to the main display to pick my friends color and the woman there told me if I didnt purchase all 3 together that I would be paying full price for the foundation, $40. In what world? if I didnt know better I wouldve believed her but I pulled out my phone and showed her the online deal and told her she was a liar. How unbelievably descitful. No one would be any wiser to what they were doing since all three items would ring up at the discounted rate upon check out. I get we were all effected by covid and they need to make their numbers but not by lying to their customers and scamming them out of money. WERE THE ONES WHO KEEP YOU IN BUSINESS. I have held diamond status for over 3 years, I spend a lot of money with this company and I will happily be taking my business elsewhere because of their horrible business practices. That manager should be fired immediately for allowing this to take place. Disgusting.

I feel like manager/staff aren’t happy. They always make some comment to make when your trying to redeem points or return an item. Even when your trying to find something at the store, they aren’t so helpful. May they need a happier working environment. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I would rather drive 30 mins away or more to go to another ulta.

Great Ulta, but it is very hard to seek help here due to being in a populated area. Some popular products run out so fast. Also, when the store was about to close one night, the security guard told me they were closing in 10 minutes in a super heavy African accent and I couldnt understand him.

Michelle K is the designer to see at the salon. She will help you find the right cut, color, additional conditioning and products to take home. She is not pushy and not after a sale, but rather into a relationship as a stylist. She can also wax your face should you not prefer the Benefit Brow Bar or the facial room.

I like ULTA, great selection and some good deals. The only thing is that they are limited on the brands of certain things. Make sure they carry your brand if theres anything specific that you like

I had my first hair cut at ulta today. I had an appointment at 11.30am with Robyn. She is the sweetest person. I asked her gazillion questions and she patiently answered all. Hair cut she gave me was amazing. I wish her very best.

I love Ulta. They have so many beauty products and the staff is so helpful. They will make a recommendation if you are not certain. The staff will match you with products and apply it on you. They also have events in the store. You can go and get you hair done as well. Just make sure you schedule an appointment.

Ive been going here since it opened. I get my facials here which are great and my skin looks fantastic. I use to go the Ulta store in Paramus but started coming here once it opened since it is closer to my house. The stylist are great and will take the time to find out how to help you achieve the color or style you want. Regarding the security guards, I usually say hello, and they are really an okay bunch of people. They just walk around which is better than just standing still in one place for hours. Love this place.

Every time I’ve been to Ulta in Wayne I typically walk around clueless for 30 min with no assistance, then leave spending too much money on products that I don’t know anything about, making me reluctant to shop here. This time, Kim, a skin specialist, saw me wondering around and spent about 15-20 min helping me pick out items that saved me money and worked great! I’d love to see more employees that are willing to do this. Thank you Kim for your help!

So I took my cousin here for the first time. What a terrible shopping experience. We were being watched the whole time by security. Why? Because we were the only Spanish women in there at the time. While the white women in the store freely shopped. I was scared to pick anything up and look at it bc I was being looked at as if I was doing something wrong. Mind you the security was a black woman. I suggest you fire her! She makes people that aren’t white shopping experience very uncomfortable. Get another job lady this job isn’t for you!

In the past 7 years, I have lived in 3 different states. I have shopped at Ulta in each and every one of them. I know the policies, promotion rules, and exchange/return rules. Also, I know how I should be treated as a customer. With that, this location, specifically the manager SUCKS. She is rude, condescending, and curt.First interaction- I spent a hefty amount of money in one visit. One of my purchases offered a free gift. Do I need the gift? No. However, the sales associate rang it up but never put it in my bag. As soon as I gotHome and opened the bag and noticed, I called.The manager told me she would have to look at the camera. Excuse me, what? You need to look at the camera? You see the money I’ve spent in my history at ulta, and you imply there may be the chance that I’m trying to rip you off over a free gift. Ok, fine.Then today, Same manager lifted her hand as to shush me when talking about a return. With my children next to me.Done with this location until this woman learns how to treat her customers. Especially as a manager.

Be aware: prices in the store can be different from the website, what’s on sale on the website it’s not necessary on sale in store (even though the item on the website didn’t say online only) according to the manager they’re different entities.... she did match the price on the website- the on sale one -like she did me a huge favor....total bs.....

I asked my boyfriend to get me some things at his local ulta. As usual, i send him pics of what i want and he gets help from someone. This time, I send him a picture of two types of eyeliners I wanted and so he asked a staff member who was completely helpless and gave him the wrong product even though he had shown her the picture. Never have been more disappointed. Can’t even return the things because is been taken out of the package.

Very disappointed. Usually my Ulta experiences are amazing. However, today me and my sister signed up for the Anastasia Event they had for today. (We signed up weeks ago in advance.) Our times were scheduled for 6:30pm Dec 8th. Well, yesterday around 6pm they called to remind us of our appointments which we really appreciated. So fast forward to today me and my sister arrived promptly at 6pm and there was no sign that an event was taking place. When approached by an employee we were informed oh, the Anastasia people left about 20 minutes ago.We informed her about how our appointments werent until 6:30 so why would they have left already. The worker apologized and did her best to make our experience pleasant but it was too lazy I was just upset.We spoke to the manager and suggested if the event people needed to leave early they should have called the people with remaining appointments. The manager dismissed this suggestion and handed one sample product to me... However this was her apology to me and my sister ... I guess she was suggesting we share the sample.I understand these events are free besides the normal product pushing by the reps but me and my sister look forward to these events. Its time we spend together and to learn about new products. I think this was unprofessional of the Anastasia representatives and highly doubt I will ever make a purchase of their products in the future because of this experience.

Salon services are simply splendid. These stores are well stocked and the employees are knowledgeable and friendly. Always a good feeling.

Spacious, cleaner than other locations. Helpful employees. Go on weekdays to get the most help if you need it. And plenty of parking around it compared to Clifton location.

The store is nice and has a good selection but no one really wants to help the customers. Most of the time I end up swatching samples myself. If you ask a question, theyll respond but dont really make recommendations beyond that and walk away even if the store is dead and there is no one else to help. At least the security guard says hello.

General Manager helped me find an eyeshadow. She was excellent trying to match color/type/make and I finally settled on one, even though I really wanted Stila but this was not in stock. I had not realised there was a hair salon inside this store and probably sounding like the village idiot, I asked if they had an immediate booking. The stylist seemed to acknowledge my request, but turned her back and completely ignored me. Not a big deal but I was rather surprised she didnt have the decency even to say there were no openings at that time or just to reply that she would be with me in a moment or two. Rudeness is unforgivable in retail in my book. Having said all this, the manager went above & beyond to help me, along with another young assistant, so I will overlook the impropriety of one person in the hair salon. Prices are not bad in this store, quite comparable to Sephora. Their stock is vast and varied.

I do not recommend going to the salon here! I had my hair done by Toni I think that’s her name the “manager” and she was so unprofessional! She had a huge attitude and did not cut my hair even. The layers and hair cut are so uneven that I had to get it fixed by another salon! What kind of manager for a salon is that? The other girls in the salon were rude as well! I didn’t like this salon experience and will not recommend or go back again!!!!

So Upsetting!! I wish I could post with less than a star! I walk in as I am picking out my shampoo but not remembering due to my Lupus and Fibromyalgias fault -brain fog, I call my sister-in-law to help me remind me the type of shampoo and conditioner I bought previously, I am rudely interrupted by the security guard who went on to say, We are closed. And I said Ok but I am in the middle of picking an item out and he responded, We are closed. Ok, I get it you may be closing but first and foremost you let me into the store literally 30 seconds before and if you didnt lock the door or remind the closer to lock the door a few minutes before 9pm which is wrong in any case and I was able to get in that is not my fault. In any case, you can not be closed with me inside the store. To infuriate the security guard more I should have stayed and taken my time but I was so frustrated that I literally left. I went to my car still on my phone with sister-in-law while exiting stating thank you Mr. security guard for being so rude. The worse experience I have ever had in any store. I cant even imagine what he would be like in the Holiday rush.. Arghhh!!!

My friend had a facial by Kim and it was horrible. She didn’t take her time and the towels she used were not clean. Nothing was sanitized. I had my hair done in the salon and the girl didn’t do what I wanted. These girls don’t know what they are doing! Don’t recommend going to this salon!!

Reasonably priced makeup. They have a salon at this location open 7 days a week. A blowdry is $29. Lia the manager was so helpful. Also they dont sell any mac cosmetics at this location but have everything else. Sam the eyebrow girl is the best here.Also check the website and apps for the promotion for free gifts with purchase because these cashiers always clueless about the free gifts and you have to constantly check them.

There was a lady named Diana who was giving out coupons of $5-$50 dollars off and DELIBERATELY gave ALL of the Hispanics that walked in the $5 off one. Meanwhile, any white person who came in was given the ones of higher value. She would open the coupon and look at the value before giving it to people. I hope shes fired because thats discrimination.

I am not one to leave reviews however I felt compelled after seeing another reviewer mention about the security in this store. I have been in the store once but I doubt I will be back. I was followed around and watched like a hawk. Not once was I even asked if I needed assistance. They should train associates to help customers rather then following them around like a criminal.

It’s unfortunate your friend did not share her concerns while in the salon as we are all licensed professionals who adhere to strict sanitation processes and are monitored by the state board of cosmetology. With that, I can assure you that my practices are all sanitary and that not only because I am a professional with nearly 10 years experience, I am someone who treats every guest the way I would want to be treated. Therefore, I would never use anything on someones skin that wasn’t sanitary. Furthermore, I never rush a guest, if your friend felt rushed, she was mistaken. I always take my time with every guest, old or new... I take pride in that.Your review is unfounded and inflammatory and frankly pathetic. I can only surmise your friend was so upset she couldn’t write her own review... if she would like to come back so I could walk her through our sanitation practices I’d be happy to do so.I cannot speak for the stylist you seemingly were not happy with, but I am sure if it was as bad as you relayed you might have said something immediately, instead of you trashing peoples livelihoods on a public forum. The stylists in the salon have a minimum of 3 to 25 years experience and if someone is unhappy they wil rectify it.

Just like every ulta except this one seems a tad bigger than the other I would go to. INSANE AMOUNTS OF PRODUCTS! Only thing I am skeptical about is I went today to get hair colored/trimmed..the stylist told me she had to do about 4 different things to achieve the exact color I want and need. Which she said at most would cost basically $300!!! lowest $270 she said...I realized after when talking with my mom that she put in I needed a glaze. That is not something needed to get correct coloring, but is a treatment!! I DYED MY HAIR THE COLOR MYSELF MANY TIMES FROM BOX DYE YET SHE SAID THIS WILL COST THAT MUCH AND TAKE AT LEAST FOUR HOURS!!! IDK seemed very off too me. I have to get it done for an event on Sat. so booked the appt. for an emergency back up and booked another for tmrw-praying they one.can do the coloring/trim&styling due to needing a consult first which she mentioned depends on how long it will take. Today My friends and I decided to go shopping at the ulta in this location as we often do. The store has nice products at a pretty good price although, I am no where near satisfied with the shopping experience I had today. My friend was looking for a few products for herself, I hadnt planed to purchase anything and yet I was accused of stealing something. A women walked up to me and cornered me in the aisle as the security guard was on the other side of me as if to block me from running away, as she proceeds to tell me she saw me on the camera stealing something ( putting something in my purse) I told her I did not take anything and even opened my purse to show her the contents inside as well as my makeup bag to let her know I did not take any item or items from the store anything in my bag belonged to me if she thought I was stealing she would have taken the opportunity to search my bag or the security guard and yet she tells me there is no need so therefore youre not even doing your job correctly. I have worked in retail youre supposed to let the person walk through the sensor or by it and then proceed to take action if the sensor goes off because if you are proven wrong and the cops are called that is not a good look on the company or the employer and could call for a lawsuit. The woman than continues to tell me if I put it back I wont get in trouble, I dont understand when she even had time to look at any camera as she was circling me and my two friends constantly and speaking to us when we did not ask for help, before hand the security guard and the women kept circling around us and when I asked she would not allow me to see the video footage. I have never had any issue like this before, The women later found out to be the manager tells my friend maybe I stole it by accident as Europeans shop with their purse and yet were in the unites states of america, I believe she had nothing to say after my friend spoke up for me and caused a scene embarrassing her which resulted in the previous unnecessary and foolish comment, I am clearly not European I am an African American female . I have never been so embarrassed and upset like this before in front of people, who would they believe, me or the person with authority ? We even stepped through the sensor and nothing happened she tells my friend its because we put it back but there was nothing to put back .I would recommend anyone that shops at this store dont bring your purse inside and if you do dont take any thing out other than your wallet, and if anyone has gone through something like this demand to see the camera footage and call the police so the police can prove the accuser wrong, if I didnt have to work an hour later I would have called the cops myself so the police could prove her wrong, I didnt even want to continue browsing as the mood became sour my friend dropped the shopping bag with all the items she was going to buy, I would not dare allow myself to be accused and then hand my hard earned money over to this woman or anyone else in the store. We left and went into nyx in willowbrook mall and had a much better shopping experience and even got free lip liners . I will not be shopping at this location anymore every time I go I am watched like a hawk and constantly have workers coming up to me when I dont ask for help this was it for me, I dont want to feel targeted every time I come in this store so to save the headache and humiliation I just wont spend my time ad money here I will also be calling the company to complain about the situation . I would rather Not even give this location a star at all for this horrible experience but I cant post my review unless I do so .

They make you feel like a CRIMINAL HERE! I have such a headache from a very good day of holiday shopping (yes peaceful holiday shopping) because the damn Security guard and the older blonde haired woman WOULD NOT STOP FOLLOWING ME ALL OVER THE STORE!!! If you see me with the same items in my hand the last 5 TIMES that youve followed me, obviously Im not trying to steal anything nor do I want to. Ulta is usually a very peaceful time for me. I dress nice, no hoodie, take off sunglasses, smile at the staff members, asks simple questions, then mosey around as a girl does because we remember a ton of things once were in the store that we need. You cant do that here. Ive worked retail and sales. I get it. Im the first to be patient and understanding. But Dangit Im pissed! I should not have to walk out of a store feeling dirty and guilty when I have not done anything AT ALL wrong. This is an embarassement to the Ulta brand!!! I have a rewards card. Walked in with the $3.50 coupon I get in the mail looking for the Lancome mascara set- I walked in knowing what I wanted because Im familiar with the brand. Im not a stranger to this store, but at THIS location they treat you like you are a stranger trying to steal everything out of the store. Will be going to route 3 from now on. I hope upper management see these reviews. Not to fire people but to teach them to value their customers, their privacy, and respect that we can choose where to shop. To not follow people everywhere in the store as if they are spilling juice all down the aisles/ or that I have the word shoplifter on my back. :-(
