Wish I could give zero stars. The last 5 times I have been there they say they dont have my prescription. All different docs. I even pulled up on my phone showing it was sent in and to there store. Every time it took my doc to call in multiple times to get these prescriptions. Then they charged my insurance for a prescription that they said they didnt have and my doc had to call it in again. I picked up the second one he called in. Came in today 3 day later after leaving the ER. They didnt have the script that was sent in from the ER no surprise. Tried giving me the script they said they didnt have 3 days prior. So told them I got thT few days ago. I didnt need it now. Then they charged my insurance. The ER doc electronically sent it then called them and they told them they needed to e send it againAnd wouldnteven take the called in one. What a joke. Stay away!!!
They have absolutely no organizational skills. The prescriptions are in boxes on the ground. 3:15 pm appointment for vaccination it is 4pm and they gave me one piece of paper to fill out. Still waiting for the shot. If you are not able to offer a service in the expected time, do not do it. No chance of coming back here. Horrible experience.
Went to the pharmacy, stood there and waited in line for 35 minutes. I know the drive-through traffic was going a lot faster than that. There were several elderly people in line in front of me and I could see them struggling to stay standing. They should give more priority to the walk up traffic as they are not sitting.
Extremely poor service, sent from one register to another. Understaffed and employees could care less about customer service.
This is the 4-5 time this has occurred and finally felt necessary to report it. I have been trying to access pharmacy (and drive thru) for prescriptions, covid vaccine and every time they are under staffed and there is an unnecessary wait time. I scheduled an appointment for 10:15 and am sitting here with 9 others for the last 45 minutes. Hopefully this will reach someone in hope of a change. It is costing your store business and if there were another store in this location I would forsure not come to this location anymore.
Went on a weekday during the day with two people in drive thru, we waited over ten minutes while all 7 workers behind the counter ignored us and continued to talk/laugh amongst themselves. I am usually very understanding because I know places can be short staffed but when there’s seven workers and one customer in line and two people in drive-through it makes you wonder what their reasoning was for not even saying “hang on just a second, we’ll be right with you”. We ended up leaving because more people started getting in line and we figured we would have more luck at CVS
I called up to try to get my flu vaccine (i’m a nursing student who is required to be vaccinated) and the women who answered the phone was extremely rude about me needing to come in ASAP bc “we close in 15 minutes, we don’t have time”. was very rude and not good with understanding that the costumer and PUBLIC HEALTH is a priority.
Go to CVS instead. They know what they are doing. Not sure who does the hiring process for this pharmacy, but they should consider finding a new pharmacist. Cant say much about the front counter either. Apparently this place has zero experience in customer service. Thank God there is a CVS nearby.
Unbelievably understaffed pharmacy for the amount of volume they do. I’m not even sure how it takes 10 minutes per car in the pharmacy drive thru? Go literally anywhere else.
The pharmacist and pharmacy aide were very nice and knowledgeable. It was a relatively quick and easy process to get a vaccination done here.
Do not go through the drive thru. You could be stuck forever, whether it’s the pharmacy person who is the problem (for a while there we had a chatty one who was “charming” holding things up) or the customer who needs to clear their problem up before making it everybody else’s problem, it’s a total cluster and you could be waiting for up to 30 minutes.
Made an appointment to get a flu shot after work today for my husband and I. Apparently they don’t even look at their appointments and only do walk-ins. They said at 530pm their wait was 45 minutes so they recommended coming in between 11am-3pm....which is during my work hours. What’s the point of having appointments then? They apologized and were plenty nice about it, but I just wasted my time for no reason.
The pharmacy staff went above and beyond for me especially Jen who gave me a really good customer service. They were also kind!
Just want to let people know that the wellness clinic charges you 1 bill for the facility and a separate charge for the doctor.
They were very busy, but were able to have my rx filled in 10 minutes.
Has large variety of vitamins and offers at least a small variety of almost anything you need. Pharmacy can be very busy though. Usually very friendly employees.
Talked to pharmacist Dan on the phone, said he had too many other things to do and put me on hold. Picked up and treated me as an inconvenience and was a complete unprofessional over the phone.
I was traveling and my asthma prescription was messed up out of state. Irma went about and beyond for me. She made phone calls to find out what happened and how to retrieve it. Problem solved and she found it. She new I was starting to worry. I’m so thankful. I’m convinced nobody anywhere would have went to such trouble. Thank you Irma.
This was my pharmacy until they dropped 24 hour pharmacy. I don’t get it they are plenty busy to support it. Have a sick kid leaving the ER it was awesome to go by and get their meds but this is a game changer for me. They are just like all the rest to me now. I will say when they were busy they seemed to hustle
How is this pharmacy even open?!?! Ive used them twice in the past week and neither time did they even look at their fax to get information about my prescription orders... My doctors office both times had to continuously call and harass them to fill the orders. Try legacy drug store in Wright city and Warrenton! Theyre reliable and a responsible company. Worth the extra 7 minute drive!
Do yourself a huge favor. Dont use this Walgreens pharmacy! Ive been to several different locations over the years and this Walgreens Pharmacy is by far the worst. EXTREMELY SLOW and very rude. Absolutely no customer service skills. If your smart youll do what I did and switch to the Walgreens Pharmacy at Wentzville prkwy and Meyer rd.
Pharmacy sucks, the other Wentzville location is better. They NEVER call you when its ready for pickup. And they are VERY slow, even checking people out. The lines are usually around the building for drive thru pickups. And this is partly due to them taking forever to do anything. Inside the store things are OK but the main registers chip reader has been broken for over a month (maybe 2 months). At first you could only pay with cash if your chip failed to read. Now you have to follow some trick to get it to work. Something like, insert chip, pull out, cancel, put it back etc. It makes checking out take forever. I mean seriously! Fixed the damn thing already. What mickey mouse manager do they have? Go to the other location, everything is better there!
I have been going to Walgreens for many years and I have never experienced as much poor service at any other Walgreens as I have at the Wentzville Walgreens at the parkway and Pearce. I waited in line for 45 minutes. They continuously tell me script is not ready and when I call my docs office the state they sent it got a confirmation back. I and moving my scripts to CVS. Worst Walgreens ever!
Pharmacy is the least helpful of any I have ever been to. Staff wants to blame everyone else for them not doing their job. Do not ever use this Pharmacy. They put my prescription through for a 30 day supply and then try to 14 day supply when it was only supposed to be a one-week Supply. This totally screwed me up for being able to get a refill or a new prescription filled under my insurance. These people have no idea what they are doing.
Pharmacy is HORRIBLE! They are extremely slow!
I went to fill a prescription I was waiting for and was told it would be 20-25 minutes. I say in a chair right in front of the pharmacy and was waiting. They were extremely busy so I figured it may take a little extra. After 40 minutes I went up to ask about it and it was already put away in the bin. No one even bothered to say a word. I asked if it said I was waiting and she said yes, and it even said it on the front of the prescription. She said they don’t announce on the overhead anymore, however, I was sitting directly in front of the counter the entire time. Was it too much trouble to ask me?? Check on me??? Nothing!!!!! Terrible Customer Service!!
Always great service. Very friendly staff.
If it was possible to give negative stars I would. They tell you they will order your RX but then they dont. Now its Friday and I have to wait until Monday for a RX I needed yesterday. They counter help was clueless with everything and I guess they cant do their job either if they tell you it will be ordered but it never showed up was the answer I received via phone but then right after I got off the phone with them about it not showing up I got the email about it will be ordered. I guess that email was lost or it was never ordered to begin with yesterday. Worst pharmacy ever!
My husband received stitches at the urgent care at 2:30 pm. Before we left the urgent care at 3 pm the nurse told us they had already sent the prescription for his antibiotic over to Walgreen electronically. She said it should be ready for us when we got there, its a 5 minute drive. We took a small detour to get something and then my husband went in to get the prescription after about 15 minutes he came out and said that they claimed to have never received it, so he had called the urgent care and had them resend it. I took him home (a 25 minute drive) and then came back as I had some errands to do. When I stopped there around 5:30 I waited in a somewhat lengthy line and then asked for mine. She said shed never heard of my husband. Um what? So after some searching she found him in her system, but the prescription wasnt yet filled, come back in 15-20 minutes. Im a fairly patient person, and figured the groceries could wait a bit. So I killed time walking around the store, sitting surfing through my phone. I have them five minutes longer and then approached the counter at 6 pm to be waited on by a different woman than before. I asked again for my husbands prescription and much to my frustration I was told they didnt have it. I said that I was told they had and it would be filled in 20 minutes. The girl went back to the pharmacist, and asked. She told me that it had just popped up and it would be another 20 minutes. Are you kidding me?? I asked if it could be sent to another Walgreens or somewhere else where it could be filled in a more timely manner. She said, I cant send it anywhere you need to call your doctor and fix that. I said, Ill be back in 20 minutes, thank you. So here I am at 6:30 pm: sitting in the parking lot, writing a review and praying MY FOURTH ATTEMPT to pick up an antibiotic will be successful. Please consider CVS or somewhere else, for your pharmacy needs. If I could give 0 stars I would.
They advertise you can pick up your prescription at any Walgreens but not at this one, Although the tech was a jerk, the pharmacist was very nice and helpful.
Sand was wonderful! Very sweet, makes you feel like her best friend. Brought a smile to my face :)
What can I say on the corner of happy and healthy.
This really is the worst Walgreens around, I get my RX’s filled in LSL or Warrenton just to avoid it. The wait times are ridiculous, even when you are the only one there and are waiting for your infants meds and they know you are a priority, they just don’t care. I just got to use their take care clinic for the first time, I got there 10 minutes after they opened, their computer that should have checked me in had an error and asked me to speak to the invisible receptionist. So glad I left and went to Our Urgent Care, within 20 minutes they got me in and out with a strep throat diagnosis and treatment plan.
There hours very now people are rude
Great pharmacy close to home.
Great stock in cosmetics with friendly employee
Lots of hidden treasures here. They always seem to have items other locations dont.
The pharmacy is horrible. They tell you one thing and the next day tell you the opposite. Apparently no one here knows who to treat the people who spend loads of money here for their scripts. You couldnt pay me to get any meds from this store ever again!
Nice store manager and it ends there. Pharmacy does not know what they are doing. Pharmacy manager advised you are able to get 3 month refills as long as your prescription is written for at least that many refills. Thats all fine until you try to do it and the manager is not there. But on a good note the pharmacy manager wanted to know who was giving me a hard time. When speaking to Liz (girl that had shoulder length brown hair now has short hair) she absolutely refused to fill 3 months at a time and also told me I was not eligible for a refill for 3 days so I couldnt get it anyway. She also told me she had no control over that (not refilling it for another 3 days) talk to the insurance company. That would not make any sense, I would have to come in to Walgreens before my breakfast and get my medicine for that day, I would be totally out. So leaving the store I called my insurance company, they told me Walgreens hadnt even attempted to fill the medicine and yes it was approved. Then I asked the insurance company if I can get the medicine for 3 months at a time..again the insurance company said yes and my policy said I could pick them up at a store and did not have to mail it in. Again just like the pharmacy manager told me. But the insurance company also gave me a help number for the pharmacy and they could call them and they would explain how it worked to the pharmacist. The pharmacist refused to take it.I called the Walgreens back and talked to the same wonderful employee explaining this to her. She said that my prescription was pending being filled awaiting doctors approval. Which when I left I had told her not to bother earlier. I would speak to her manager the following day.Problem no 1 She does not know what she is doing.Problem no 2 She sent it off to my doctor when I knew it did not have to be sent and told her not to.Problem no 3 When I called her back and told her everything the insurance company. I also told her what her manager said about people giving me a hard time, and I had already complained and her manager said ohh. SHE TOLD ME I WAS LYING.Really Wentzville Walgreens you need to weed out your pharmacy and get new people. Some that have been trained correctly and know how to work with people. People that are polite and know there job. Not just a manager who knows her job she cant be there 24/7...oh wait.. the guy that works at night has filled prescriptions correctly.
Very reliable and friendly
Worst customer service Ive ever had repeatedly at any Walgreens pharmacy, ever. Walgreens will even call you to tell you that your prescription is ready and when you come to pick it up, it wont be ready. It can also take up to 45 minutes just to pick up a prescription in the drive thru line! They will ignore you standing at the counter waiting inside as well. Use the other Walgreens on Wentzville Parkway, not this one!
Their pharmacy is ridiculous, took over four hours for them to fill prescriptions! Definitely will choose a different pharmacy from now on.
THIS WAS PUBLISHED ON THE WENZTVILLE MISSOURI BUY, SELL & TRADE SITE 6/15/16. Hopefully, this will get some notice.FYI-Walgreens PharmacyI pick up a monthly prescription from the same Walgreens every month. I picked up that monthly prescription on Sunday, 6/12. The tech confirmed my name, address, DOB and prescription name and dose. I received the medicine in a bag with my name and address on it, like every other month. I took the medicine on Sunday and Monday. I was feeling a bit dizzy and shaky a little after taking my medication on Monday. I went back and looked at my medicine and realized the shape and color of the pill were different. I wasnt too alarmed because this has happened before when they switch to generic. I then looked at the label and noticed that the name, address and prescription name were all wrong. I was given someone elses medication in a bag with my name on it. I panicked and called the store and my Dr. It was explained that my side effects were from not having my daily prescription and most likely enhanced as a side effect of the drug that I was mistakenly given. I also called Walgreens corporate number and filed a complaint. As of today, 6/15, I have followed up with a phone call every day to them but I have yet to receive a return call. No one has bothered to call and ask how I am doing, apologize, explain how this will be prevented in the future or to investigate how this even happened. Im completely disgusted by Walgreens lack of interest in something as serious as giving a patient someone elses medication. This could have been a serious and even fatal mistake.
This place it terrible nobody here is worth the breath.... go somewhere else.
I live in near this . I go hear once a month to pick up my prescription. I have had no issues with this store. I also go here to buy mountain dew and snacks . I have had a walgreens rewards point card for 3 years now earning points and plan on useing all the points stored up on it in a few more years. Always nice and i feel like a regulare feels like at a nice well kept & managed resturant when i visit . By the way it is 9:41am right now and at 10:00am im going up there to pick up my prescription and buy snacks. I looked up the stores pharmacy hours and saw the comment box and was like yup its review time . For a walgreens i give this store, drum roll please a 5/5 . Yha i do and i walk up here for stuff ALL the time .
Health clinic is horrible. I called to make an appointment and was told to walk in. Got up there and was told 2 hour wait. My daughter had trouble once when she was 5 minutes late for an appointment. I will never use it again and will recommend to all my friends to do the same
The worst Walgreens there is. I have had problems with their pharmacy every time I use them. Im so glad they built a CVS right down the road!
For some reason this is the only Walgreens Ive ever been to that takes 20+ minutes in the drive thru line every single time.
Their employees are not nice outside of work in uniform (to potential customers) so not sure if ill be shopping at this location
Good service
Service could use work
Customer service needs work.
Clean
Waited 2 hours to get a prescription
W.T.F.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why does it take so long to fill a prescription? Eyedrops are already in a bottle. They dont have to fill anything.
Super nice
At 1:10 am I came from the Hospital ER & give the Pharmacist 4 prescriptions to fill— she tells me it will be 30 min before I can get them — REALLY ?!?!?At this hour in the morning they are that busy ??????She wasn’t the least bit friendly either😡‼️
Very slow workers
