A dinette set we purchased 14 years ago needed refurbishment. I am pleased to say that Horizon offered the refurbishment at a reasonable price. The work was excellent and timely. They delivered the goods when they promised and they were a pleasure to work with. They kept us informed every step of the way and contacted us when necessary. Horizon is an honest old-fashioned multi-generational company that reminded me of the days when a company could be relied on.

We had HTC Stores recane the seats for three of our beloved Breuer chairs. We have had these chairs for more than 40 years. The recaning was perfectly and professionally done. Even more significant to us, they stained the cane to match the color of our old cane. That was no small feat for 40 year-old cane. They are great at what they do. Their work is fairly priced. We highly recommend them.

What great buying experience! Needed a dining set for a new home and stopped by Horizon Furniture after reading many good reviews. Mathew helped customize the dining set that we were looking for at a reasonable price. The dining set came on time from Canada but I asked him to hold on to it because the renovation at my new place took much longer than originally scheduled (yeah, whats new). Mathew kept it in his warehouse for over a month without complaining. Finally the dining set was delivered to my place by Mathew and two associates, a truly meticulous white glove service throughout. Strongly recommended!

Had excellent experience with Horizon except for the fact their delivery driver became unavailable for a week or so. This delayed receiving our table. Otherwise everything was terrific. When the table was delivered the delivery driver was very helpful in setting up the table and most cooperative. This would have been a 5 star review except for the delay.

The quality of the product is much better here than at the big box stores and Ben is very knowledgeable and personable. I brought my broken swivel chair to Horizon Dinette today in hopes of having it fixed. I was hoping to be able to get it back later next week so I would have it home in time for my holiday dinner. Not only did they fix it on the spot in less than ten minutes, they did so when one of the guys who happened to be leaving got out of his car and diagnosed the correct repair part. I walked in today with a two-year-old kitchen stool that was wobbly. I wanted to know if Horizon had the proper tool so I could tighten it since I did not have the L shaped device at home. Not only was I offered the little tool for free, the gentleman, offered to fix the chair on the spot for no charge. He took the chair apart, re-glued the dowels, and made sure that all the legs were properly tightened with an electric drill tool. I was sent home with a chair that was as solid as the day I bought it. Thank you for REAL service!!

I came to HFD in search of a dinette set for my apartment primarily based on the positive reviews I read. I had only visited one other furniture store before and was also looking online at a few different sites for months for a set that would not only stand out but fit perfectly in my small space. I really wanted to see and feel before spending money to know what I was purchasing. Matt, who assisted me, showed me what sets were available making a suggestion on what would look best for my space, especially since I had been on the fence about it. He welcomed me to look around throughout the two floors of dining sets on display. When a couple entered the store, he politely excused himself to the lower level to assist them, but returned and remained nearby to offer help.Not long after I entered the store I saw a wood counter height set that caught my eye. Matt described the specific materials which were birch wood and ceramic tiles. Though I still looked at a couple other sets to see what was available, I was drawn right back to what I first saw. What I most appreciated about Matt was his pleasantness and professionalism. He wasnt an overbearing salesman. In fact, he even encouraged me to take my time and shop around. Since I knew I was only working with such a small space and really didnt want to spend anymore time shopping around, online or on foot, my decision was made pretty quickly. Matt told me I could also pick up the set which would easily fit in my car once it came in saving on the delivery fee. My set came in a week earlier than the two week estimate given and Matt was at the store to direct the other staff in loading it into my car.A decent selection of merchandise coupled with A+ customer service (very rare to find in this day), made for a win-win situation. After looking in more than 15 home furnishings stores, I found the perfect dinette set at Horizon. It combined all of the elements I needed. First, I could customize the size to fit in my small eat-in kitchen. Second, it was made of all the elements that make up my kitchen, namely, wood, stainless steel, and leather seat cushion. Third, it was made in Canada (not China) and had a 10 year warranty. Although it did take the 6 weeks to receive (as promised) it was well worth the wait. Also, after setting it up and taking away the packaging material, I noticed that the table was uneven. They came back the very next day and adjusted the table properly.All in all, a very satisfactory experience.

After no success finding a kitchen dinette set that we liked we explored the internet. A high priority was that the chair be equipped with casters. This was not an easy find. We lucked on to Horizon Furniture & Dinette and found a set that was structurally closest to our existing worn out set. We were apprehensive about ordering such a large item on line. We received all parts in good order and were able to easily assemble. Good quality and made in USA!!!

My husband and I purchased a dinette set with four chairs on casters. We paid alot of money for nothing (approximately $1600). In under a years time the chairs are flimsy and ripping. The set is cheaply made. The table is garbage. We are so disappointed with this company and will never go back there again. We definitely do not recommend this store to anyway.

The customer service is the best, I first took my mother to purchase a dinette set, but we had to change the order to 4 for stools for an island in the kitchen. Id been looking for replacement seats for some old Breuer chairs, and saw a lot of different prices and dimensions, and not a lot of transparency about where the seats were made. Finally I picked up the phone and called Horizon and asked a number of questions, all of which were answered politely and professionally. I found out all their Breuer chairs and replacement parts are made in Italy, and got the exact dimensions, and even the spacing between the screws that attach the seat to the frame. They even dissuaded me from ordering the whole set of 8 replacement seats, saying I should order just one first, and make sure it worked, before either returning that one, or ordering the rest. Best of all, when I mentioned the lowest price Id found on the internet, they matched it! I havent received my sample Breuer chair seat replacement yet, but am very pleased with the experience so far.
