Staff is really friendly and quick to help. They have a really great variety of foods. Nice little area to eat in if you buy from the kitchen area (pizza, grinders). Only complaint is that their prices are on the higher side, best to go when they have sales.

Big Y is definitely world class with cleanliness, product freshness and variety. My main gripe is how expensive its gotten. It used to be more comparable in price as with Stop and Shop. I still pick up a few things at Big Y that Stop and Shop doesnt offer but I can get 3x the groceries at Stop and Shop when compared to Big Y, plus they dont charge me 10 cents per grocery bag.

Great place to work a starting job, pizza and sushi and wings and rotisserie chicken is always fantastic. Make sure to sign up for the silver savings (free discounts). Cant go wrong here! Always top quality service and food. And they have Billy Cs Jerky too :)

Cashier Mike was very nice. The manager was very helpful as we purchased a Christmas tree but just a minor miss communication on leaving the tree outside so we didnt have any thing for it to be scanned. Manager helped right away and took care of us.

Sometimes they dont have the sale/coupon items so you have to be careful. If youre looking for plant-based foods, they have a good selection. Just dont go looking for disinfectant or paper towels.

One of the best selections of variety for dairy free and gluten free stuff. I buy dairy free cheeses here for my mother who HATES daiya. Its tastes bad doesnt melt and has a weird flavor. We get different brands here that are so close to the real thing that non allergy people cant tell. Options of pies and pizzas and doughs and mixes not commonly found. Love coming in to stock up.

Big Y world class opportunistsI see they never let a crisis go to waist, I am highly disappointed in Big Y.We went for our normal Sat shopping and discovered everything in the store was twice the price. I get we are in interesting times right now but price gouging? seriously?This behavior is not world class.

The prices are a little bit higher than other grocery stores but it is very clean. The store is easy to navigate and the floors are clear of product. I go and shop the sales.

Besides having to call a specific department and never getting through, this store is great from start to finish. Bright,clean,good employees, and they have great stuff. Some say the prices are a little steep, but I think its more then made up for with efficiency and quality

Clean, well organized store with good staffing that gets you through checkout quickly. Great selection, and the produce and meat are both great quality. Good to go food too - their pizza is surprisingly good for a supermarket, as is their sushi. Prices are a little high on some things but their sales are great.

In my opinion this is the best Big Y in the greater Springfield area. The staff is very knowledgeable. I dont think that they have a high turnover rate with their staff which contributes to the professional customer service that is regularly experienced while shopping there. This location has one of the best pizza / fish frys that the Big Y Corporation offers...

Truly a pillar of the community, just the right intermediary between local & chain, Big Y treats its employees with respect. The produce is always fresh, the selection is very interesting, the meats are top-notch.Some might quibble as to the prices, and its true, this is not a massive discount chain grocery store, but its worth investing in.

Process Seem Higher Than Other Stores But At Least The Cashiers Dont Ask You How Are You Doing 50 Times While Checking You Out Like Another Local Store. Staff Seems Ride Unless They Know You. Staff Seems To Loiter & Chat - While Blocking Aisle - When They Know Someone But Cant Be Bothered To Help Someone Find An Item When Asked. Other Location Here In Westfield Seems Better, But Still High Process. Why Does One Town need 2 of the same store?!

The fish and chips was not so good. The fish was dry and lacked the flavor of fresh fish. I thought that it was old or was frozen. My wife said it was over cooked as were the fries. The Southampton Big Y is consistent and better at Fish & Chips.

It is World class i shop around and shop alot from wholesale clubs like bjs samsclubs costco shoprite price rite wmart, giant, stopnshop, foodlion. This store is not only clean one of expensive prices with exceptionally top picked items such as produce. Its a mirror of Harris teeter operating in south 100%. I was amazed how beautifully they copied them and growing fast up in north region targeting wealthy and hygeine conscious customers market.

They have a very good selection of organic, gluten and soy free foods as well as Bison and grass fed, grass finished beef. We greatly appreciate these nutritious, best options.

The big y on East Silver street while clean my issue is with the deli. I prefer going to the big y on East Main for my deli items (grinders) they are more friendly and do not discriminate against special needs people!!!

I love this place is very clean and nice the people are friendly and helpful there are Cooks in the bag that look like shafts and the food is well prepared I bought a chocolate chip banana pudding from there it was delicious a little on the sweet side but you know theres nothing really bad to say about them

Located in the westfield shops closer to Bon Ton than Staples. The food is good and the store is clean. Sometimes they have good sales too. I also have a silver card from big y. Its a store card you pay for but you save money when you shop the deals there.

Big Y is what it bills itself as... your local, hometown grocery store. It isnt like the soul-less grocery stores down the road. Prices may be a little higher, but they have Grade A customer service, short waiting times, well-stocked shelves, and friendly staff. Big Y definately gets an A+ in my book.
