The staff here are so patient and understanding! This is the first pleasant experience we have had with my three year old who is sensory sensitive to noise, lights ect. After trying many different salons and barbers we actually felt welcomed and understood here. Michelle and Kenya went above and beyond and we will definitely be coming back. It’s also very clean!

These ladies absolutely love their jobs! Very friendly and listen to what you want. I definitely recommend yall stop by and support your local hair stylists! And for all my chocolate peeps out there, they can do yalls hair too!! Thank yall ladies for freshenin up mine n my sons hair!!

Horrible service. My sister goes in for highlights and showed picture of what she was looking for, stylist did something completely different. Come back next day to explain and try and see if she would fix she charged us now saying she didn’t understand correctly and now we have to pay again to get what we wanted done the first time.. kenya you need to learn communication and customer service skills.Will never come back here. If your looking to get over charged and for horrible customer service this is the spot for you... don’t waste your money and time on this place

I have NEVER in my life had such a GREAT experience then i did with Keandra!!I felt so pampered, i was hoping that my Highlights would turn out good but they turn out 10 times BETTER then i imagined!!i havent had my eyebrows done in in over a year because they NEVER turn out right, BUT Ms Keandra made them look better then they EVER HAVE!!! I xan say ive officially found MY new Stylist!!

The manager that works at this establishment is real piece of work. She has a horrible attitude and is really rude. I have no idea how a corporation would allow this type of behavior. They must be low on qualified managers because she is so conceded not at all down to earth. She is really stuck up. She is in needs of an attitude adjustment. This place used to be so good. I miss those days.

I asked for a fade... instead they just shave the sides of my head.... do not recommend them. Rude and bad at their jobs.

Lady with blue braids botched my hair today then still charged me I ended up going to Smart styles to have them work on my hair for 3.5 to fix what this woman botched I would never recommend this place I was crying and felt so bad the lady at fantastic sams should not have a license to to hair

Terrible! One of the lady’s smell liked cigarettes. She cut my hair so wrong and left me hideous! I do not recommend coming here

I requested a peek a boo layer of pink to be put into my hair and less than a week later with only one wash all color was washed out of my hair. Even the day of they knew that my hair was not taking the dye and told me to come back if problems occurred and when I went back they told me I did not return within the 72 hours even though they never stated there was a time constraint. When we returned a week later to the location to ask for assistance in the matter they only then informed me that they had put semipermanent dye into my hair for $107 plus a $25 tip. If I wanted semi permanent dye in my hair why would I pay $107 and why was I not informed that it was not permanent and was treated rudely when returned.

Unbelievable!!! Dani ruined my daughters hair... Chopped it up and burned it up after she had her return a second time to fix it. My daughter asked for a refund and was told no. My daughter called me after this and was crying and upset do I called the manager on her behalf. The manager Cookie said she would call her boss to find out if they could give a refund and then called back and said they said no refund. Over 200.00 was charged to her and her hair is horrible. I went to file a complaint with business and professionals and they needed her license. I called and was told no they wouldnt give her license or full name. Then I went down to take a picture of her license and they told me no they would not allow it so I called police, what a joke. They came and said they couldnt make them give it to me....something that is public! Im going to have to see a lawyer to sue them! Wow! What a salon

The lady Brittany clearly didnt want to be there, and it showed. It went from bouncing the clippers off my skull, to ne thinking this isnt going to get better. I literally stated I could just put my hat back on, to the response of ok.

I went in for a haircut for the first time in MONTHS. I was greeted right away even though all stylists had clients. I had a shampoo, cut(went from one length to layers), blow dry and style. Kenya was really sweet and worked fast because I had my daughter with me who was wanting attention in the stroller :) When it was time for the blow dry I was able to take my daughter out and play with her and the other stylists who by this time were just waiting on other customers took her and played with her while my hair was finished. Kenya even recommended a great shampoo and conditioner for my ever changing hair and I bought some. Reasonable prices, friendly staff, great service, clean salon. Recommend!

I moved to Florida from NJ and its always hard to find a good hairdresser. Kenya always does a great job and I would never trade her for anything! The shop is always clean and my appointments are always on time.

I just came in for a simple trim. Inital woman had sooooooo much attitude with the customer before me it was ridiculous. What the board says for prices is not what the woman was charging her at all. Every price she gave was an additional 15 to 20 ontop of what prices were already listed. I was told itd be a 30 minute wait, turned into an hour and a half wait because an appointment came in late and they still took them before me..... Just the worst customer service i have ever experienced..... Still sitting here waiting for my turn to have my hair cut. Completely incredible people you have in here...Update!: so made it to the counter for my turn......after 2 hours of waiting, now being told they cannot do fade nor cut my hair.....i have to go to a barber shop even though i already asked if they can cut my hair when i first walked in at 12:30..... 3pm now leaving with nothing done. Ridiculous.

I just moved here, so I was nervous looking for a hair dresser. But I went to this salon, Cookie did my hair. I have never LOVED my hair. But this time, I love my hair! She did a complete 360 on my hair, and I can’t stop looking at it! Thank you so much. & I can’t give it enough stars! Not only do I love my hair, but she made it a great experience.

I just had my hair dyed today by Dani. She did a great job! I had some pretty stubborn grey hair to cover and it was a little too light after the first application so she dyed it twice for me at no extra charge. She was very patient and nice about it. The price for what I had done was more than reasonable, less than I had expected. I definitely recommend going to see Dani at this location.

Awesome service! I recently took my 17 month old daughter to get her first hair cut by Kuki. She did a great job keeping her calm. She has done a wonderful job in cutting and styling my hair. I would defensibly recommend her for future hair cuts/styles.

They do a fantastic job every time I go there. Since the first time I went there and cookie did my hair I don’t go to any other shop then this one. (;

My grandma and I stopped by to get our hair cut. She told them she just wanted a little off the top and they trimmed some off the bottom and sides of her hair as well as doinf the top too short. The lady who cut mine used a dirty shaver covered in gray hair. She also shaved it too short and refused to cut mine the way I wanted. After she evened my hair all to one length and I asked for a little more of the top she kept saying no, youll look like a boy or I hated when my hair was done like that I didnt ask for her opinion, just for her to do what I wanted but she refused to. We will NEVER go back there again.

We have been coming to Tracey for over 15 years now. She has cut our kids hair since they were born. We moved 45 mins away a few years ago but still make the drive to see her. We love the store and the people that work there. It’s always clean and the staff is always happy.

Wont be coming back. I asked for my split ends to be trimmed and instead she cut 2 inches off and layered my hair when I clearly didnt ask for it. I dont want my hair to be layered.Also the lady that cut my hair was extremely rude to me when I changed my mind about getting highlights to fix the damage I made myself. Sorry, but I dont have the extra $100 to get it fixed this week. Maybe instead of a knee-jerk reaction, she could of simply said something along the lines of, Okay, but I already started to blow dry your hair. Its okay this time, but maybe next time think it through more. I think your stylists need to have a little more compassion when it comes to others and maybe be a bit more thoughtful.

I wouldnt suggest this place for anyone who likes their hair. I made an appointment but still waited 30 minutes. As I sat and waited I watched this little girl get her hair cut. The woman cutting it cut it so crooked she had to cut it shorter than the father had wanted. When they went to pay she proceeded to tell him that he owed her for two haircuts, saying she wiggled to much. Seeing and hearing this I should have left. My experience was awful, I HAD very lengthy hair and wanted two inches off. I left there almost shoulder length hair. So if you like your hair and want to keep it, find somewhere else.

Unfortunately I have to agree with the bad reviews here posted. People in this salon don’t want to work plus they don’t want to listen to what you want, very careless. Find another place because this has NO FANTASTIC at all.

Sat and waited for over 20 minutes for a cut. Woman walks in, 20 minutes after I sat down, was asked what she wanted. Said she needed a cut. Got taken right away. I left. Will never return. Rude as hell.

The staff here are so rude and displeasing. Today as I stood waiting for someone to acknowledge me at the front door, I over heard a hairdresser being so sarcastic and rude to a woman who wasnt sure the length of an undercut she wanted to go with. You could tell the poor woman in the chair felt awkward as the hairdresser just stared at her when she was asking questions about the length it could go. When I was finally greeted, I didnt even get a hello, just what do you need done today. I had called minutes before asking someone to just curl my hair. When I told the lady at the front desk of this conversation she looked at me like I was an idiot. She sat me down at her station and then preceded to tell me it would be $65 for them to literally curl my hair for 15 minutes. This is the third time I have tried Fantastic Sams because I understand that every business has bad days, but I have never once seen an individual in that establishment smile, let alone act like they even WANT to do hair. I recommend not wasting your time even attempting to go in here...

I specifically said I didnt want my hair cut, that I was growing it out so all I wanted was some bangs and my hair thinned. She asked if she could trim the ends to make it healthier so I say sure. Big mistake! I walked out of there with the shortest hair Ive ever had needing my neck to be buzzed with the trimmers!!! And when I got upset saying I told you not to cut it, she replied well now its styled! Do NOT go here if you want to leave with your hair!

Walked in for my haircut. Took a while for anyone to approach me. Once I asked for the haircut, the hairdressers looked around at each other like they didnt know who felt like working. I sat down for a while and waited. Then just got up and left. Ill never take my family business there again

I have stuck with my hairdresser Kukii for about 5 years now. Through these yrs and relocating, I have only had terrible experiences with 5 other hairdressers when I was unable to make the drive to Kukii at Fantastic Sams. I have lived in Clearwater for over a year now and have continued to see only her for her perfect haircuts. She is the absolute best! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Terrible... Spent $67 on a haircut and a couple foil highlights...which would be fine but I showed the lady a pic of exactly what I wanted and she said she could do it...highlights are ok but cant even wear my hair down til I go somewhere else to get it fixed!!! Plus she charged me $3 extra dollars for a layer cut...its not even layered its just 2 uneven cuts so disappointed... My hair was very long and now its not gonna be how I wanted it at all...she didnt even finish trying to fix it at the end...prob bc she knew she messed my hair up!!! Never going back again!!

Probably the worst place to get your hair cut. The one lady chopped my hair and my moms hair so uneven. And she swore it looked okay and it was very uneven and stacked looking. I’d rate 0/5 if I could. They don’t listen to you either.
