I’ve used the place numerous times dating back to when they opened. Was a previous customer of the mom & pop business here prior to C&J. This place is so honest and awesome that my family has started bringing their cars here and I travel over an hour now to get my car serviced. One of the only places still around with honest and empathic people not looking to screw customers over. They explain the process and treat you like family. Have never had any issues here and will continue to use this place every time my cars need work done. Very fair and honest pricing, too. Bob is awesome!

Visited C&J for a VA Safety Inspection and a pre-purchase vehicle inspection.Bob was very thorough on both. He goes over the car with a fine toothed comb and informs you of what he finds in an easy to understand way.Highly recommend going here.

Being a woman, im often worried about going to anything related to cars by myself based off of past experiences where other dealers, mechanics would try to push the most expensive agenda because they thought i was clueless and would go for whatever they say. I got my state inspection done here. They seem to be very honest. My car ended up passing the state inspection it cost me $20.00.

Quoted $775 for a starter replacement (labor only) on a Sonata. Was also told it was behind the engine and thats why the price. Well its not. Pretty confused with that quote based on what other mechanics have told me. Will update review if this can be explained.

The workers here are so great! I moved here from out of state and I needed to get my emissions done, but I didnt know where to go. I called C & J, and they were able to get me in within 10 minutes and helped me understand what needed to be done with my car. Very friendly staff that is easy to work with! I will definitely be bringing my car back for anything I need!

New to the area, I went here based on these reviews to get a state inspection. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. When I watched people walk in, they were greeted by name. I guess that this place has provided good enough service to keep people coming back as regulars.I only gave 4 out of 5 stars because I havent had any work done there yet.

Mechanics there are really great! A bit pricey on our last visit, but they let us do payments plus take the vehicle home! If you need electrical issues fixed especially on old Ford trucks, I highly recommend them! Very honest and nice guys who generally can get you in the shop the same day you call them, which is wonderful! Thanks again to C&J.

Seem to be genuine and trustworthy. They tend to give you thoughtful consultation based upon your individual situation when it comes to repairs which keeps your options open. The people who work there are easily approachable and personable. The shop is a bit hidden from the road, but its not hard to find.

Only shop open and staffed at time the shop open. Quick prompt service and took the time to explain some additional details regarding replacement parts.

Highly recommended!! These guys tell it to you straight. They did great work on my wifes VW Bug and charged me less than was quoted. It reminds me of the days of handshake deals and a mans word was his bond. They are friendly and honest...two traits we seem to find less and less of these days. All in all, great resource if you need excellent auto work done by an honest mechanic.

Quick and wont overcharge! I came in with what I thought needed to be done and ready to pay..... they told me it worked fine and the problem was actually something else which I also knew was an issue! So they saved me money by only doing what was necessary, unlike others, Im a loyal customer now.

So far they are quick and not expensive. Ive had to use then twice. Friendly people. Can arrange to have your vehicle towed to them. Can leave your vehicle over night if they are closed. Use the envelope provided.

Emissions Inspection. Called ahead after going to three other places who all had long wait times. They were very polite and patient with me. And I was done in 20 min! Wouldve been less time had the mechanic not been working on another inspection at the time. He still answered the phone and calmly explained things to customers while servicing my van. Then explained what I needed to know to pass inspection and if this, do this or if that, that and time frames...etc. very kind. Ill come back here

Garden and his mechanics are exceptional: honest, reasonable, and excellent mechanics; they have taken superb care of our many foreign and domestic cars for over 10 years!

I wish I could give this place no stars. My gass cap was gone when I went to pick up my car and the car had no gas. I had a full tank when the car was dropped off. On top of that there is no one who can speak proper English. Dont go there if you want your car in good condition when you pick it up...

Small shop with great mechanics who have been in the business for many years. Quick, minimal hassle State Inspection. I was in and out in less than 30 mins. While other places try to sell you additional services, C&J gives you recommendations, and leaves it at that.

Hey its like the barbershop, you get in and they get you out quick fast and right the first time.

I’ve never had a problem here. These guys are nice and helpful, they don’t push you to get stuff done, they understand having a beater car, and they even gave me a lift home and picked me up while my car was being worked on.

I went inside the store today and was treated real bad from the start. All i asked the guy was how much yall charge tomput spark plugs in my car? He automatically got an attitude with me. I am a black soldier in the military serving my country and i am very respectful to anyone. They kicked me out bc they said i was yelling but i pit it on my kids i was not. The guy was rude to me and i asked to speak to his manager and the manager refuse to listen to what i had to say and kicked me out. This is unacceptable! This place is very racist. Sir you was inside the shop on the phone. The guy had a attitude off the rip. I am vety respectful and i was mistreated today. If you ready your reviews theres couple of comments of your shop being racist. Your employee was rude to me. You was also rude bc i was explaining to ypu what happened. The shop right beside you also said yall are racist. I am not the only person who experienced it. I guess everyone else is lying also. I will let my chain of command know how yall treated me and also tell military personnel not to go there for service.

Had front brake rotors and pads replaced on my vehicle a few months ago. I had to return to the shop because of major squeaking from new brakes. They put another set of new pads on and the squeaking went away, except for when the brakes are applied while the vehicle is moving in reverse. Instead of returning again to the shop, I’ve decided to live with the issue. Also, the new pads emit crazy amounts of brake dust.
