We worked with them as a Scouting unit and it was an easy process but you need to understand the logistics and follow the process. We unloaded about 3500 lbs of clothing/shoes in about 20 minutes. Recommend doing clothing drives with them.

I and my 14yeads old daughter were shopping 20minutes before closing at savers Woodbridge VA 09-24-21 8:40pm my 14 years old daughter was trying a dress put her backpack with her belonging in it on the floor to try the dress in 3min the bag disappeared the associates were very unhelpful and asked to call them next day since it’s time for them to close. Next day was no call I called myself and manager Jenine said sorry nothing without any further explanation. This is a theft in UDA in 21st century. After all the years I’ve been donating to this particular store I get robbed in the middle of it.

The manager ( mr roberts ) does not have good professional work ethic. He needs to take classes and be trained on how to be manager. Because personally he’s accused me of things that aren’t true. He’s said I have people call me on the phone to tell me when stuff is being put out, and in another occasion that I was stealing jewelry when it’s not true because I had already payed for it.

Savers is a good thrift store BUT savers is disorganized. Ive seen broken items being sold, torn clothing especially pants, store employees are really, really rude, the cashiers DONT speak up especially now with COVID-19 around & being required to wear mask (recently I saw an employee w/o a mask) its really hard to hear them, the employees rush me out of the checkout lane but take forever with other customers. The counter is too small for the Plexiglas. I understand the Plexiglas is to keep people safe but it makes it awkward to put items on the counter especially if its breakable. Some of the prices are extremely high for a thrift store especially when they receive donations for free. Savers use to have 2 colors on sale then they had 1 color on sale but now Savers NO LONGER offers colors on sale anymore which sucks. Savers NO LONGER has disinfectants to clean the carts when customers enter the store. I could be mistaken but I dont think that Saver does 50% off for holidays anymore.

Everything was very pricey. They have different promotions, but only if you have previously signed up for their emails. I was disappointed as Im just passing through but, if you are a local or if you dont mind paying over half of what something costs new (in some cases) for specific items, they do have a wide selection, especially of clothing

I love this place I always find the best prices and find something worth the drive everytime I go there. Staff are always helpful. I stop going the salvation army due there prices and find the same items here that are great

This is my go to thrift store, im able to find at least 1 item every time I go cause I love how it’s organized by items and sizes. not much men’s graphic tees here besides like weird program ones.. so if you’re looking for that aesthetic don’t go here lol. haven’t ran into problems with the staff, cashiers ive been with seem wonderful

Prices have gone wayyyyy up on some things. There is ZERO consistency with clothing pricing. You can have them ask $20 for a lularoe dress and have a better brand or higher quality dress right next to it for half the price. $12 for one skirt and the next is $3. Also stop asking $15+ for Walmart brand clothing! This store used to be MUCH better with pricing. Im not sure what happened.

Savers is an excellent thrift shop. It is wide open so theres lots of room to walk around and there is a large variety of new merchandise continuously arriving. If you go everyday you will find something new in every area. The prices are very good. The books, for children, are $1.29 each and many of the figurines are between $2.29 to $6. They run sales and have a membership. You must wear a mask to enter into savers thrift shop. They have furniture, clothing, jewelry, new items and lots more. If you leave without buying something you would be the exception to the rule.

I have been a shopper at Savers for a long time and they used to be inexpensive and very affordable. Im a thrift store junkie and I wont come back to Savers. Their prices are so high you may as well go buy brand new. They have lost my business.. if your low income dont go here.

Could stand to be a little more organized. Women’s sizes are organized by juniors and the staff seems unsure of how to sort the sizes. Great prices and good selection.

Much cleaner and brighter than most thrift stores in the area with a good selection though sometimes pricy. Good to come on Thursdays for a discount or on 50 percent off days and this is the best place Ive found to have used furniture but they wont hold items anymore so its not good for people with small vehicles that cant take item right away I think we should be able to hold for a few hours. a young staff that could use better customer service but never bad lines. samantha is always pleasant to talk to as well as Ricardo and the taller man at the donations center

Originally, i mistakenly offered these comments about the wrong place. They apply here.I was in the immediate area on other business, so i thought i would walk in to see what they offered. It is large - high ceilings and big layout. But the arrangement is junky and uninviting. As is noted in other such venues, there is definitely a smell, it could even be called a stench. There were a few people shopping, but I didnt see the appeal. It was disorganized and random in the housewares section. I like a good hunt, but felt like it wasnt worth the trouble. On my way in and out, i didnt see an employee, so I wasnt sure if anyone was working at the midday hour.Interestingly, I noticed they had on display an employee of the month photo. At a glance, i thought such was nice for their employees. Then I saw that the photo looked more appropriate for a dating app than a workplace employee appreciation wall. Are they just selling thrift store goods here?? Doubt I will cross this threshold again. If percentages were allowed, this place would get 1% from me. Definitely not worth the effort such hunting would entail.

This is the worst thrift store Ive ever seen, their prices are way higher than any thrift store Ive ever seen. They dont have bags when you check out your stuff at the cashier and you have to pay to use their bags like they make a lot money off this store and u gotta pay for just using their bags and to top it off the price for clothes are ridiculously high I suggest going somewhere else for better price.

This thrift store is always packed so go early morning. You should be able to find what you are looking for. They run specials different times and do offer senior day during the week. The front end manager is great she keeps the lines moving.

Dont know whats going on with color tage sales. Can barely see items for the week. Makes me think they take it all back until the following week. Prices have gone up too. Looks like Mondays and Thursdays are the best deals now.

There are three thrift stores I primarily go to in Woodbridge. Savers is my go-to for womens clothing, linens, and board games. The clothes are well organized with good selection, the aisles are wide and bright and the store generally feels clean and tidy.

Always an adventure, sometimes overpriced sometimes great deals. On Tuesdays the cashier by the jewelry counter is pleasant and cheerful. Otherwise the staff is overall kind of ratchet. Tons of clothing and housewares and books! Great thrifting here.

There is a younger women who works there with blonde braids and long fake blue nails (I wish I got her name so I didn’t have to describe her look) who is incredibly rude and a large complainer. Bad look on the store.

Bought a nice pair of shoes

I visited Savers with my beautiful wife to browse and purchase books. This will likely be my first and last visit, as the price for used books is very high compared to other thrift stores. Savers’ pricing of their books is preposterous. Basing the used price of a book based on the original sticker price makes no sense, whatsoever, as the value of a used book is determined by supply and demand in a retail environment. A thrift store is not a true retail store. Savers should price their books as other thrift stores do—a set price for all hardcovers and a different & lower price for paperback/softcover and childrens’ books. And, possibly with a separate & higher price for large/oversized books. A common sense and practical pricing scheme would be to price books somewhere in the following ranges:Children’s - $0.25 to $0,50Paperbacks/softcover - $0.75 to $1.50Hardcover - $1.50 to $2.50Large/oversized - $2.50 to $3.75This would be in line with the vast majority of thrift shops in the DC-metro area. Also, offering a 10-15% military/veteran discount on all purchases everyday would be a great show of respect.

The place is filthy. The service is shotty. But, there is one male cashier who is absolutely the nicest person ever. And, their bathroom should be condemned. Its never clean.

I went to Saver for the first time and I was able to find 5 pairs of name brand pants, two that still had the price tags on and all for an affordable price. I will go back again...

My daughter and I go here to look at books, movies and art work. Its quality bonding time with a small price tag. The staff are very helpful and the store is maintained well. The bathrooms are surprisingly clean.

No, they dont have them. They have bed sheets for customers to have for their comfort. Really? Yeah. Do they sale childrens fashion? Yes, they do. How about babies ? Yeah, you can count on it. If yall looking for fashion designs for kids, then its a place to be. They sale them in order to give convenience to most families. (Notice) during their shopping, they reduce percentage to give customers decency to shop there. However, they make it 25% percent off. Oh yeah. The important thing to do is they do color days they let individuals know whats avalible to shop. What do you mean ? I mean blue day, yellow, green, or orange. They usually put home materials inside their vehical. If is bigger furnitures, theyll deliver then from their place to their home. Really? Yes. They can also do donation in making sales on items, clothings, or stuff from the house. So they do donations? Yeah. Stores like they accept those kind of services. Oh yeah, theyre many Spanish people work there. Really? Yes. Theyre friendly and nice. Theyre very helpful too. Theyre also Americans work there.
