We hired Keystone Kitchens to remodel our 30-year old kitchen. Boy, are we impressed! We have a fantastic new kitchen with new everything, for the budget we had. From start to almost-finished, they have done beautiful work and have excellent people on the project. Demetri (design), Bror (engineering) and Susan (co-owner and interior finishes) did a fantastic job of listening, offering input, and planning on the front end of the job, and we really want to express our appreciation for Ben (project manager), who was outstanding and incredibly level-headed from the first day. We appreciated the fact that he communicated clearly with us, knew his craft, did beautiful work, and kept the disruption to a minimum. The kitchen was cleaned up at the end of every day. This was absolutely NOT the ideal time to undertake a kitchen remodel, between the pandemic and the frayed supply lines, and we know it must have been causing real heartburn on our and others’ projects. Little of that came through in our contact with Keystone, or if it did, it was in the context of “here is what we’re going to do”. This is the kitchen remodel company you’ve been looking for!
5.0Fabulous company to work with from start to finish during my 6 month remodel projects. Their extensive expertise helped me create new living spaces and upgrade existing areas. I felt like I was working with good friends throughout the 6 month from design through installation of the four rooms. Everyone at Keystone was pleasant and responsive. They guided me throughout to create stunning, yet functional areas. I LOVE the kitchen and baths. I worked closely with Demetri and Rhonda on designs and they added all the special touches to make it so beautiful. Todd was my engineer and his work was impeccable. My installation lead, Omar, and his assistant Rami were hard working, paid close attention to every detail and also made invaluable suggestions. The whole company demonstrates true “old world craftsman” ideals: dedicated to quality and the creation of something special for the client. Everyday I was grateful that Keystone was my remodel company. There are many challenges and decisions during remodels. Success, and ultimately joy with the end product, depends on having experts like Keystone Kitchens and Baths. Thank you so much to each of you.
We had our Kitchen cabinets refaced earlier this summer by Keystone. Everyone we interacted with were reliable and did a great job. This started with Dennis, the designer and salesperson. He was very nice and gave us some good ideas and input. Then Bror took over with Engineering. He was very thorough and was super attentive to our wants and needs. He was great to communicate with. Jason was our project manager and was the one that was on the job for 3 weeks. We felt very comfortable with him and he had a real attention to detail and worked to get us a top notch job in the predicted time frame. Chris, the owner came in for inspection and found a couple of little items needing attention, but we were very happy with the outcome and had no complaints. Every step of the process was done within the time lines given to us when we accepted their bid.Keystone was not our lowest bid, but we felt the most comfortable choosing them based on meeting Dennis and from reviews we had read. Besides getting new cabinet fronts and new soft close drawers, we had our island refaced in a new design and color and we had new large drawers put in to replace existing cabinets. We did not have new granite, sink or appliances since those were all upgraded about 10 years ago. We are very satisfied with our new kitchen and would highly recommend Keystone!
Highly recommend! We are so happy with our new kitchen and the job that Keystone Kitchen did. Joelle and Ben were on time every day and were very respectful and tidy! The job was finished within the quoted time. Chris came back and made sure everything was done perfectly. Very impressed!
Jason and Darin were wonderful. Our kitchen turned out beautiful. We didn’t have any issues and it was done on time. Thank you Keystone!
Very pleased with all aspects of this project. Great communication and guidance from start to finish. Our installer, Omar, was fantastic! He kept the project going quickly and smoothly and his finish carpentry work is exceptional. This company handles everything needed for a kitchen remodel. One stop shop and I would refer them to anyone.
Didnt want to do kitchen project of a custom island...no idea why they dont want work.
Our project isnt quite finished - has an hour or two of work left to be done, but I am too happy with the results to wait any longer to post a review. We are incredibly pleased with the work. We started with a vague idea of a kitchen redo when we stopped by the Keystone Kitchens booth at the Seattle Home Show at the first of this year. At that time we met owner Susan and salesman Idriss. After walking through the whole show, this was the only company we invited out to our home. The experience has been flawless, from owners Chris and Susan and especially from our project installer John. Everything, literally everything (!), has been better than we had imagined. They could read out minds! :)
Keystone Kitchens did my kitchen remodel Dec 2019/Jan 2020 & I cannot be happier!!! My installer Omar was absolutely amazing! His attention to detail was incredible & his ability to get my gorgeous new custom cabinets to fit into such a tight area & make it look as if they were always meant to be there was nothing short of a miracle. The communication with the ownership, designers & installers was fantastic. I always felt like I was listened to & my needs & wants were respected & immediately addressed. The entire team worked diligently to make sure that I came in on time & on budget.I will definitely give Keystone Kitchens my repeat business in the future & I would strongly encourage anyone looking at a remodel project to give Keystone a call.Omar was awesome! Chris... do not let that guy go!
Keystone Kitchen possess a very professional and knowledgeable staff and was a pleasure to work with. Kyler our installer arrived promptly; kept the work space secure from the rest of the house. He was professional, hard worker and patient with many questions. This was a big kitchen refacing project and we are very pleased with the results. In fact we asked for Kyler back on our Phase 2 of an additional project which was completed as professionally as the first. We highly recommend Keystone Kitchens and Kyler.
We had a great experience with Keystone Kitchens from beginning to end. Dennis and Bror were wonderful to work with as they came up with a design for our smaller galley kitchen. The 3D images were a great help in imagining what the final work would look like. Our project manager was Josh, who couldnt have been better to work with. He is very personable (and as an added bonus, great with dogs!). He could take care of any little problem and was meticulous and clean in his work. We felt comfortable leaving everything in his capable hands, but he always told us what was going on and asked for our approval with any questions. He also took out half a wall and the result is a bright and cheery kitchen that was once dark and confined. Chris, the owner, is very exacting in his final check on the work done at the end of the project and makes sure the smallest details are done right. We highly recommend Keystone Kitchens.
Keystone has the ideal formula for kitchen remodels. They do the design, custom cabinets built right at their woodinville shop, and install your kitchen by the short timeline provided. Kitchens are all they do, so they can tighten the process so that everyone is happy. In my case we did a total gut and rebuild kitchen. I knew what I wanted but Dennis really helped us hone in on design details that helped our kitchen appear to gain space and height! Neat details that really add flare. The same team came daily until the job was done. It came in as the promised price even through the timeline grew by 4 weeks due to trial and error efforts on my custom (never done before) range hood. We were quoted 8 weeks, it came in at 12. This is still a great timeline for a total gut and rebuild. They even worked with and around my floor dude as new hardwoods were added. Now, 3 years out I can still just text Sean with even minor things and he finds time to pop by and make sure my kitchen is tip top, as my busy family uses (and abuses) the heck outta this kitchen.Highly recommend this local, thoughtful company and only wish they did bathrooms too!! Please please consider bathrooms 😂
The Keystone kitchen team was professional and helpful from start to finish. Our installer Josh went above and beyond when it came to the overall project and the fine details, as well as just bring super nice. Thanks!
I saw you guys at the dump today. It is shameful what you just throw in the landfill. More than half of the stuff you just threw in could have been donated to habitat of humanity, or offered online. Perfectly fine cabinets, double stainless steel sink, etc. There were also a lot of brand new unused building materials that got tossed in. All that stuff is going to rot in the landfill, and could have been used by a lot of people. Im sure you make plenty of money in this area so give something back to the community instead of just adding to the consumptiom epidemic. Thanks.
We recently completed a kitchen project that involved refacing our cabinets and installing new island + new cabinets for pantry space and coffee bar area. We couldnt be more happy with the results, our installer Josh went above and beyond and did an amazing job.
I waited one year to write a review and I can only say we could not be happier. Chris helped us so much in the major remodel of our kitchen. We have open space design so Keystones work was the feature item. Chris took charge of helping us with design and selection of materials for an area that had included a wood stove and tile corner, converting the corner to a bar area. After a year we are as happy with it as the first day they finished. I am willing to send photos if requested.
Keystone Kitchens did a gorgeous job on our cabinet refacing project. Thanks to Jason Moore, our project manager. His attention to detail and excellent craftsmanship transformed our old kitchen into a beautiful new one. Susan was so helpful throughout the entire process. Thanks Keystone Kitchens!
Jason, Susan and Bror were amazing. Keystone did a a fantastic job for a great price. Our kitchen looks much better than we ever thought it could and they did it on time and within budget! Highest recommendations!
If you want to be wowed by the completion of your remodel, hire onKeystone Kitchens. The transformation was unbelievable! We couldntbe happier with the end results. Joe and Josh kept the project ontarget and with responsible attention to detail, every problem that arosewas met with professional solutions. Chris gave us a design that notonly appears to double the size of our kitchen without changing anyof the space, but it also gave us double the storage space. Love mykitchen, you wont be disappointed if you hire Keystone Kitchens!
We decided to have our kitchen cabinets refaced. I was anxious about this, as I wondered if it would look nice or just be a slap-dash affair, but it turned out great. Our installer, Sam, was a genuine craftsman. All of the cabinet doors and drawer fronts were made new from solid wood, and Sam meticulously reveneered all of the face frames and other visible surfaces, including infilling and veneering the undersides of the cabinets. From all appearances, unless you start opening up doors and drawers and know where to look, you would never know that these were not new cabinets. As a bonus, all of the new door hinges are expensive hidden soft-close premium hinges, which is a great upgrade from the original slammy cheap hinges we had.
Pros: The finished product ended up looking pretty good; they have a 5 year warranty on the product; some professional installers; and they have candy if you go into the office.Cons: Some professional installers doesnt mean All professional (the first one we had that did the initial install was pretty awful, the second one was top notch though); communication between you and the project manager can be an issue; and deadlines are a thing for other people. The story: We had two cabinets installed under our stairs and even with an additional 2 week lead time (8 weeks instead of 6) that the company required the job had to be pushed back because they werent ready. Irritating but not a huge deal. The huge deal was that it then took 4 days to do a 1 day job.The cabinets werent great. The trim was done poorly and the drawers opened in such a way that they collided with each other. The upside is that eventually Keystone got back to me and sent out another installer. The second one was great, he corrected the mistakes the first installer made and the cabinets ended up looking great. I just wish it hadnt taken so long.I might use Keystone again but I would want it in writing what the timeline is and exactly when the installer was supposed to be on site.
The craftsmanship, communication and support we received from Keystone Kitchens team was great. We are very pleased with the results of our kitchen renovation - it was shorter time than expected and there werent any hidden costs!
Extremely high quality, custom built cabinets. Well priced and very fair people.
These guys are fantastic! Their whole staff is very professional, polite and easy to work with. From Dennis that designed our new kitchen, to Andrew that built the kitchen, to the countertop company, to Mark that installed the backsplash, to Chris the owner. In addition, they are very well priced. Not the cheapest, but worth the investment.Niva & Tal Journo (Woodinville)
I chose Keystone Kitchens for my kitchen remodel and their work far exceeded my expectations. Susan was outstanding in helping with the design choices for the cabinets and the countertop and backsplash. She had many helpful suggestions, yet listened to my budget and vision. Joe C. did the cupboard, sink and faucet installation. He is very meticulous in his work and maintains a very clean work space. The quality of the cupboards is remarkable. They are like fine furniture. The painted finish is extremely durable and beautiful. Mark installed the herringbone tile backsplash. His work is excellent. The hand made tile was installed beautifully. I was also pleased with the company that installed the quartz countertops, because it was cut perfectly and installed flawlessly.I highly recommend Keystone Kitchens.Barbara B.
Id like to preface this review by stating that this review does not involve the actual contracting work from Keystone Kitchens (based on other Yelp reviews and a referral, Im sure they do wonderful work). Rather, this account is based on my experience with their sales staff. All of it could just be plain old bad luck, so dont let this put you off doing business with them, but rather if you recognize the same pattern in your dealings, you might want to avoid wasting any time.I have a pretty standard apartment kitchen that I wanted to renovate (cabinet doors replaced, and quartz countertop installed). We didnt know exactly what we wanted yet, other than chocolate brown cabinet doors. A member of their staff came to take measurements and came back with an estimate of $15,255. We felt this was a reasonable price, so we decided to go to the store to select the materials (expecting that the price might increase some based on our selections). When visiting the store, the person working didnt have any ideas on what materials we were quoted for, and just presented a whole bunch of different woods and quartz with no pricing. After pushing back a bit and asking what style they generally quote for, she managed to narrow it down to some mid range woods and quartz, so we attempted to select something close to that. After our visit, we received an email stating that there would actually be a 0.5% condo surcharge that wasnt accounted for initially. I had never heard of a condo surcharge. Given that 0.5% of $15,255 is only $76, I decided not to push back too much, but wasnt entirely sure why it was even a line item at that price. A follow up email came with the new price, $17,641 which is a $2386 jump from what we were initially quoted, yikes! I pushed back asking why there was such a large price difference, and I was told the condo surcharge, getting stained wood (note that from the beginning we told them we wanted a dark wood) and our selection of quartz. At this point I wanted to see what exactly were paying $2386 for, so I asked the sales person to let the shop know what the original materials was that I was quoted for. She came back and apologized in that she made a mistake with the condo surcharge, it wasnt actually 0.5%, but rather 5%. I can see how dealing with decimals and percentages could get confusing so I let that go, but still wanted to see what she initially quoted us for. I then got another email stating that she made a mistake in entering our details, and that the price is now actually down to $16,034 for our selection (much more in line with what I was expecting). My wife still wanted to double check the wood selection.I then asked about getting a quote for getting a separate bar top replaced with quartz, at which point I got a response back saying that the fabricator informed them that he missed some counter top footage and that there would be a price increase (hopefully not much). I dont believe theres anything complex or hidden about our countertop. She told us she would get back to us with the price increase before our shop visit. The morning of our second shop visit, I got another email saying the new pricing hadnt come through yet, but a contract was included to get our wood cabinet doors done, and that she recommended we sign that and then they can do the countertop as an addendum. I turned down the offer and said Id like to see final pricing before signing anything. The final price came back at $17,191 excluding the bar top (so no spec changes on our side). I told them Im willing to sign for their initially quoted $16,034, outlining their long list of pricing errors and which point they said they dont negotiate. Thank God I didnt sign the wood cabinet door contract! At the end of this, Im still not sure if this was bad luck, incompetence or a deliberate bait and switch. If you do decide to deal with Keystone, walk away if you start seeing anything like the above happening.
I hired Keystone to renovate my kitchen and build cabinets for my dining room. The first person I dealt with was Dennis, who looked at the design my architect created and tweaked it a bit to make my kitchen seem larger. I was very appreciative of his design sense because he could visualize a final product much better than I could. Then Bror came to do the measurements and go over the project with me. He was fun and helpful, gave me good advice, and was always available to answer my emailed questions immediately. Also, he did great 3D (?) images of my future kitchen.Jeff Battrick was my project manager. He is my hero! His work was so good and meticulous. He removed a wall, installed all the (gorgeous) cabinets, found electricians whose price was quite reasonable, oversaw their work, and was on the job every day for nearly two months. He also was there when the countertops were installed. I had a butcher-block cutting board installed as part of the counter, and the transition between the countertop and the cutting board is almost nonexistent! Finally, we were so impressed (and thankful) for how clean and tidy he was each day. He kept in contact with me by text and phone, so there was never any misunderstanding about anything.Mark installed the backsplash tiles. Perfect, careful, professional job.I have no complaints. It was a bit pricier than I had originally planned for, but I most assuredly got my moneys worth. Highly and unconditionally recommend them.
Keystone manufactures the best cabinet with excellent installation and a good eye for finish.
We hired Keystone Kitchens to do a complete remodel of our kitchen. Ill start by saying that my husband and I are no easy clients. We are perfectionists and care about every detail. We have high expectations for all the contractors we work with. We interviewed many local remodel companies (the best of best) and talked to different designers but after meeting with Dennis couple times, we knew we wanted Keystone. They were very professional, knowledgeable and had lots of great ideas on how to improve our small kitchen. The design process was fun and seemed so easy. Dennis was always available to answer our emails filled with detailed questions from people who never did a kitchen remodel before. He always answered every single one. We also had a copy of all designs that we shared with family members to get more feedback. At the end, we met with Chris to finalize the design. His experience and professionalism were mind-blowing. We knew we had the right guys. The construction phase took about 2 months. It was a little bit longer than we estimated (5-6 weeks) but Keystone also oversaw HVAC upgrades in our dining room, lighting improvements in our living room and new floor installation. They even managed everything while we were on vacation first couple weeks. As any project of this size, there were many bumps on the road. Keystone was here to address every single concern we had. When we complained about the quality of the seam on our new white countertop, they took it seriously and even took the countertop off to make sure pieces were glued together correctly and the final product looked good.I want to say that what we LOVE most about Keystone is that they go above and beyond customer expectations. Since buying our house, we had a chance to work with many contractors and Ill be honest, majority of them do their job and never look back. Keystone is all about making their customers happy. They never let us down. Whether we wanted our drawers perfectly aligned or needed extra shelves for our cabinets, they did it for us. They helped us with every single detail.Other random thoughts? All their contractors are professionals with great attention to detail. Everybody in Keystone is really nice and considerate of your family needs during the remodel. They clean up after themselves every day. Billing is clear. Cabinets are custom made - maximizing the space and ideal for small kitchens. Any issues are addressed promptly. The quality of our new kitchen is superior and the look is fantastic. We couldnt be happier. We will definitely recommend Keystone to all our friends and co-workers.
