Love these guys. Always professional, smart, and competent. During the year I was with Group Health (now subsumed into Kaiser), the GH people made such a mess of my glasses prescription that I actually dropped by Bellevue Vision Clinic in despair. They kindly took a look and actually marked where the GH people should have made the graduated lenses, which I took back and had changed. No charge, no fuss, and as soon as open enrollment, I was more than pleased to get back to Bellevue Vision Clinics.

Great experience! Dr Olsen was professional and answered all of my questions regarding eye care. Lorenzo did an excellent job of picking out a pair of frames for me that I love! They are going to great lengths to protect patients from the spread of Covid. I would highly recommend their services.

Dr. Dela Rea tested my vision after she had given me possibly the BEST referral I think Ive ever had. I had cataracts that needed taken care of, and she recommended a specific surgeon for the procedure. It went shockingly good. Ive worn glasses all my life until now, now I have 20-20 vision near and far.She is a trusted advisor!

The doctor was empathetic and explained the diagnosis very well giving options. I was made to feel comfortable and not rushed for additional questions. The glasswear area had nice options and I bought one.

Dr. Dela Rea was awesome with my 11 year old who has progressive Myopia. She did a full comprehensive exam, explained our options and gave us all the time we needed. when it was time to introduce the multi-focal contacts, my son was very apprehensive as he thought it would hurt . She took time to talk to him, demo and show him the lenses. also helped him overcome his fear and eventually getting training to wear them and taking them off.as a parent she understand all my worries and have answered every single question with patience and care.I really appreciate the great care we received at the clinic also from all the staff around us

Excellent service! Dr. Clayton is a very patient doctor and really takes time to answer questions. I feel so fortunate to find a great optometrist on the east side. As time progresses, the contact lenses I had been feeling comfortable to wear started to annoy me when I read on my computers, iPad, iPhone or even sometimes during driving. Dr. Clayton showed me several options to deal with the issue and asked me to try a pair of multifocal contacts. The moment I put them on I knew the pair is the right fit for my eyes in terms of comfort level, eyesight balance, far sight and near sight focus. I could not ask for more. It is not easy to find a balanced solution to my eyesight problem which combines high-powered nearsightedness, a bit of astigmatism and presbyopia. The power and brand selected by Dr. Clayton solved all of the problems. Thanks!

I had my comprehensive eye exam with Dr. Clayton a week back and am very satisfied with his detailed testing and explaining me all the details of my eye health. Since, I have high myopia, Dr Clayton made sure to check in details for retinal detachment and other age related eye disease like glaucoma, macular degeneration, etc. He did the fully dilated pupil exam, 2D retinal imaging, 3D OCT scan to see the details of my retina and also checked the health of my cornea. All the staff at Bellevue Vision Clinic were very friendly & courteous and I look forward do my regular eye exams at Bellevue Vision Clinic in future.

I suffered from serious dry eye syndrome for most of my life.. Of course, this condition tends to get worse with age. I had a number of eye doctors prescribing many remedies, such as Restasis...very expensive and totally ineffective.But since Ive been a patient at Bellevue Vision Clinic under the care of Dr. Nermeen Hamza, my symptoms have been about 80% relived thanks to common sense practices, such as wearing a sleep mask, daily eye cleaning practices, the use of hot pads, special eye drops and useful vitamin therapy.My dry eyes used to be debilitating, but now the condition is under control and I feel that I can live a normal life. All the personnel in office are nice and friendly. They put everybodys health at first place and have very thorough precaution against covid-19. Called Monday to have our eyeglasses nose pads fixed, and receptionist had me come in the following morning. Prior to my appointment the receptionist had enquired if they were purchased from them. I had mentioned that my wifes was not but my eyeglasses were purchased/made at their clinic. After talking to the optician the receptionist said to bring them so they can take a look. I showed up for my appointment the next day and was greeted by the optician. I showed her the two eyeglasses, and she said that my wifes eyeglasses were not from them. And I said it was not but she took both eyeglasses. I waited for awhile and finally both where fixed. However before I left she commented that normally they dont repair/fix eyeglasses. Obviously she meant not purchased from them and was referring to my wifes eyeglasses but I was thankful that they were able to fix both. I did find her side comment rude and was extremely disappointed since I had mentioned over the phone prior to booking an appointment that one of the glasses was not from them. She should have provided other options like charging for repair on the other eyeglasses or not accept them if it was a policy or pay extra for a nose pad and fix it myself. Also checked BVs website but did not find anything on not doing repairs for eyeglasses purchased from other vendors. Its disappointing since their staff used to be so warm and friendly. We were actually planning to go back for a much needed annual eye exam and maybe purchase eyeglasses which we used to in our last visit. As I was about to leave, the optician greeted me a Happy New Year and I greeted her back too but my morning was not good anymore. Im hoping they would bring back the genuine customer care they used to have!

My glasses had broken and I needed an updated prescription. They were able to get me in quickly . They had effective health screening before at the facility. They sanitized throughout the vision screening process. I felt safe being there. I also appreciated the care and efficiency with which they completed my eye exam even with Covid protocols in place.

Took me 6 attempts at contacting them to get an appointment scheduled, despite being a returning customer. After my appointment, the glasses I chose were backordered, and I had to exchange 14 e-mails with their opticians before being forced to come in and talk to them in person about the glasses. Then the managing optician told me to forget everything everyone else has already told me, they are not going to order the glasses theyve been keeping me waiting for, for 3 months.Go somewhere else.EDIT: In reply to the business comment, they are not being truthful. This was not a case of the frames I was looking for no longer being available, the managing optician told me that they do not order from that supplier at all, and theyve just been roping me along in e-mail. He directly told this to me in person.

All three members of our family are patients of Dr. Clayton and have gone to the Bellevue Vision Clinic for many years. We highly recommend it as having the highest professional standards and a caring staff.

Ive been going to Bellevue Vision Clinic for more than 20 years with one brief break when I had employer-provided vision care that BVC didnt accept. During that time I was able to really appreciate the cutting edge technology BVC uses to evaluate my eyes. Exams are quite thorough. The staff is terrific. The new COVID adaptations are well thought out and I felt completely safe throughout my visit to the clinic.

Went back to BVC for the first time since COVID-19. I am very glad to see them opening again and Dr. Clayton himself. Of course each visitor will have to put the mask or mouth covering on throughout the appointment. BVC is well organized and they have a lady staffer greet you at the door if you arrive at the scheduled time precisely. She guided me to the waiting room until someone from Dr. office started checking on me. The clinic rooms are super clean. I didnt see any other visitors except doctors and staffers. The overall experience was excellent though the online check-in process seems complex and too long.

The staff at the clinic is super nice, friendly, and professional. Ive been a patient there for 15 years or so and I always like to come back. Ive seen Dr. Clayton and Dr. De la Rea and I would recommend them both. They are very thorough and explain things in great detail. A word of caution though - they get really busy towards the end of the year, so schedule your appointment in advance!Covid19 update: The clinic seems like the most protected place in the whole world - you have to have an appointment to even come in (door is locked), everybody wears masks and gloves, everything (including the restroom) is thoroughly cleaned after each patient. I felt completely safe and protected - thank you!!!

Everyone was very friendly and helpful throughout my time at BVC. The worst thing I had to deal with was waiting for the doctor to come see me, but it wasn’t so bad. She was very knowledgeable and caring. Then when I went to pick out new frames, they had someone help find the perfect frames for me, and I couldn’t be happier with them :) They had my lenses on sight, and were able to get me my new glasses within 20 minutes of finishing my eye exam.
