Excellent service. Mary Jo helped me pick out my frames and was honest on how they looked. She even took some pictures for me to send to my daughter for her opinion as I cant see a thing without my glasses on!

We love going here, the whole family. My daughter loves how she’s treated and made to feel special even though she needs glasses the staff helps boost her confidence when she’s undecided on what frames to get and it’s always speedy. We get our glasses normally in under a hour after purchase. Always quick and friendly service.

We were in on a Saturday, and though it was busy, service times was efficient and customer service was excellent. We had our questions answered, and our purchase was personal and focused on us. Working with my daughter can be a chore and they had perfect patience and humor to make the visit pleasant. Our purchase was ready in a matter of minutes over the expected about an hour. We are proud customers of Vision of Less and the familiar staff.

I broke my only pair of glasses and needed a pair right away. I had an exam to update my vision. It was due anyway. I picked out glasses and was told anywhere up to an hour and 15 minutes. I was so excited they were done in 15 minutes. The staff was wonderful and accommodating that I will never go anywhere else!!

Awesome experience. I am getting Lasik in 3 weeks, however, my current pair of glasses broke. I had gone to my current eye doctor and the cheapest frame was $175. I went to Vison4Less, was able to get 2 pairs for the price of one, and I got them same day. No waiting 2 weeks like you typically would in a doctors office. Also, way more affordable and they have designer frames as well. Very good selection.

This company is a complete RIP off. The quality of the glasses are very poor. Trust if you have any problems within the yr of the warranty tell them to give you a whle new pair. My glasses were repaired 2x and iui t gas just barely pade

I lost a nose pad from my glasses. They replaced both nose pads for free in about 10 minutes. I love this place for glasses Ive been getting them here for past 10 years.

Great service snd products!!

This place is a joke! I arrived to get new glasses and from the beginning I should of seen the signs to go elsewhere with my business. Day one the wait was horrible and when I finally got my turn I was treated with blatant disrespect! The female behind the counter acted like she didn’t have the time of day for me or even want to help me. That’s a small issue compared to what proceeded to happen over the course of 4 days. Anyway, I got my new glasses and after day one I realized they were not fitting me correctly so I returned on day 2 to have them corrected. I showed up and explained my issue, again the girl behind the counter acted like she had no interest in helping me. She grabbed my glasses and bent the end with her hand and told me to try that out and went on helping other people with no return. Frustrated, I left. I returned the next day (day 3) to try and get someone to fix my problem AGAIN. After 30 min of waiting I spoke with someone and they told me they could fix my problem, it would just be a min. They brought me my glasses and said the problem was fixed. I put them on and one side was digging in my head so I decided to return again. (Day 4) I arrived and again was treated poorly, they rushed my issue, the gentleman who took my glasses to “fix” them proceeded to heat them up and “bend them correctly”. His bend on one side doesn’t match the other and the glasses fit worse than ever before! The quality is only in the price. Employees don’t care about costumers or quality of glasses going out the door. I’ve seen better glasses at dollar tree! I will be returning a 5th and final time, to give them their garbage back and will NEVER return! If you need glasses I suggest spending your money elsewhere!

I was in need of glasses and wanted to get in right away. Got an appointment within two days. My appointment went really quick. I had the help of Isaiah with getting glasses and checking out. He was very informative, outgoing, and personable. Made my experience very enjoyable.

My complaint is alot like Shelleys, I have gone in 4× because the prescription wasnt right only going to another optometrist for a second opinion my prescription was way off, vision for less told me it was the same they were wrong. I will not return for glasses from them in the future. Lucky I found my way out the door. They also dont deserve 1 star and turn the tunes down in the back cause obviously they have a communication problem.

I have been to vision for less four times now. First time the glasses I ordered could not see out of them. Second time a new eye test cause it was wrong. Third time still could not see out of them, they could not find my second pair of glasses.. Went to pick up my glasses today cause I got a text message last week that one pair was done and another text that my second pair was done, went down this morning and could only find one pair of glasses and proceeded to t we lol me they won’t be done until next Tuesday. Really, I live 45 minutes from that place and will not return . So frustrating!

Got a text my glasses were ready. went in and have been waiting 20 minutes. noone has greeted me. no sign of check in or recognition or turn order.

I had an exam and received new frames and prescription the same day. My frames lasted two days until a screw and piece broke when I removed my glasses from my head. I live 4 hours always and just had my broken frames fixed today. I am now looking at the brand “new” frames that need a new piece because the screw is stripped. Very disappointed in this place and will never be returning.

Walked in to the place. There were 3 people ahead of me standing in line behind a sign that said Please Wait to Check In. I stood there for 15 minutes and no one even acknowledged my presence and nobody ahead of me got checked in while I stood there. There were at least 3 employees on the floor. Vision 4 Less seems to also mean Less customer service. I turned around and walked out and went to Iowa Eye Care on Boyson Rd. Immediately serviced when I walked in the door! I will not be going back to Vision 4 Less.

Mary Jo helped me in the Cedar Rapids store and she was awesome! I asked her opinion and she was nothing short of honest with me and that was exactly what I wanted. I appreciated her kind words and her knowledge of her position! So far I am pleased with my choice of new frames and thank you to all who were involved behind the scenes in creating the proper lens and putting them all together!!!

We got helped about 30 minutes into walking in the door. We got helped by the manager. She took our insurance card behind the counter and then the associates came up to her numerous times with questions from what the patients that they were helping and she would answer those. When she came out onto the floor to the table again the associate walked up to her once more asking another question. She stopped helping us once again and walked the associate though what she needed to do. Not making us our first priority. We got two pairs of glasses. Single vision. It took two hours for them to be done. We picked them up the next day. The one glasses the lenses were all screwed up where they had put a prism in it. The other pair the lens was not set right on the frame, the frame was twisted, and the one lens was already cracked. They ‘fixed’ the glasses with the prism that they made a mistake three times on so we had to wait another two and a half hours. We feel that they are still the wrong prescription that they put into both glasses. Spending over $300 in two pairs of glasses you would think they would come out perfect. **We are very displeased with everything we experienced at vision for less.**

Im new to Iowa so I dont know hows things completely work here yet. I have Medicaid and Delta dental and vision. I found out I could go to any eye doctor that would accept my Medicaid and get an exam so I went and Indiana that same doctor would have sold me my glasses here and Iowa I had to go somewhere else so I went to Vision 4 Less because they were the first one I could use my Medicaid. First of all when it comes to Medicaid frames theyre usually all from 1980 and ugly as Sin they had the best choice in frames that Ive ever seen for Medicaid people. It took me about a half an hour to finally find the right frame and forgive me for not remembering her name but it was the second frame she picked up to have me try on and I fell in love with it. We werent in there an hour with picking out a frame getting the order right now, and then We Were done. We took off to run some other area and it was about an hour hour-and-a-half walked in the door without a phone call that my friends were ready to go walked in the door called them what I needed they handed me my glasses and I was amazed at how well I could see. Ive been to some of these I Mark kind of places in the past in Indiana and they never could get my prescription just right. Not only is this prescription just right but it doesnt give me a headache to wear the new glasses getting used to them. Everyone was helpful and we even discussed me coming back at taxes two by two pair after inexpensive rack and turning one of them into sunglasses. I would send anyone I know to try them I think theyd be happy.

Went to Vision 4 Less for a purchase. Social distancing was an A+. Keeping the place up to par was phenomenal as well as customer service of staff members. Always a warm welcome for me!!!

My daughter and I each got two pair of glasses. Mine needed the progressive bifocals and they did them with no problem. My daughter got one of her pairs as sunglasses and absolutely loves them.

Was quick, excellent service! Had eye appointment and glasses picked out quickly. Glasses only took 30 minutes to do. So from start to finish it only took a little over an hour. Staff was friendly and helpful and they had a great selection of frames to choose from. I wouldnt go anywhere else!

Was waited on in a timely manner. Prices are excellent. Glasses were all that I was hoping for. The only problem I have is that I was thinking of having transitions, but was talked out of it by the sales person who assisted me. I was told they dont work in cars. I have since learned that a coworker has transitions and they work just fine in vehicles. Therefore, I now have to change glasses when wanting to go from inside to outside or driving in the car.

Went in for the first time need a pair of glasses Andes ended up with 2 pair for $38.71 I wasn’t looking for designers which they have lots of styles to choose from. I don’t wear my glasses often just when I can’t wear my contacts. So everyone was smiling it was very busy and they worked through the list and answered questions it was a very pleasant atmosphere. Went back in 45 min and had 2 pair of glasses. Great experience!!

So nice and friendly!!! I got honest feedback when I was selecting frames. I would try on some pairs and I was told if they worked with my facial structure or not. Shantelle worked with me and chatted like I was an old friend. I really enjoy that personal connection and that just elevated my experience. I purchased 2 pairs of glasses and I waited for them in the store. Took about 2 hours for them and I felt welcome during my wait. There was no sense of me being in the way and everyone was chill and laid back. Great selection on frames and styles. Overall, it was an awesome experience and I highly recommend this place.

Dave and the staff are extremely slow, and unorganized. Don’t use this side for your glasses. The eye exam side though deserves 5 stars.

Exceptionally fast. The dark haired woman who assisted me on 9/27/19 was great. She went above and beyond and was extremely helpful. First time ever in my life I have received my glasses the same day!

So, my experience was ok, Covid rules make this process more inconvenient because even if there is room for more than a handful of people to remain 6 ft or more apart, the store employees get rude and make you wait outside in the sun in 90+ degree weather with 90% humidity and have no empathy if your car lacks air conditioning. Also they will not let you grab a chair to sit outside the store either. The eyeglass part of the experience was ok though. Mine were done in a week. Why do I go here for my glasses? They have the best prices in town.

First time customer at Vision4less. Got my eye exam and glasses, same day service. I am a retired senior on a strict budget. I do not have vision insurance, so needed to keep cost down. My previous glasses were purchased with insurance and had all the top of the line, bells and whistles, progressive add ons. Needless to say, I was a bit leery of the cheaper, sale progressive lenses but I decided to try them. Price was great! Got one regular glasses and got the second pair as sun glasses. Love the clarity on both pairs. Much better than my old lenses and I can’t notice any difference in vision perception. Awesome service awesome price and excellent quality for my budget. Highly recommend!

The only challenge was choosing my glasses. Prices for single vision with scratch resistance were clear and simple. Staff were friendly and efficient. Shantelle is a standout in customer service. My glasses were ready in an hour, I was notified with a text. This place was busy the day I was shopping, so there was some waiting time,. No problem, lots of frames to try on while waiting. The glasses are fine. The wait for said glasses was pretty bad, though. I waited one hour in the store before I was seen when I was just picking them up. There should be a better system or more workers in the store. The staff seemed to be doing the best they could do, under the circumstances. They were pleasant and quick as well. They need more help!!

Outstanding experience from initial call to receiving my glasses. Dr Petersons office was able to handle a last minute appointment and they were super professional.

Day one waited 30 minutes...Then I was finally acknowledged, while I stood in line, and added to “the list.” Day two went to pick up and waited another 30 minutes. Since when do I have to wait in line just to pick something up that I already paid for? I don’t need to try them on. Haven’t you ever heard of Zenni? Yeah, I’m sticking with them. $200 for your dang sunglasses and I could’ve paid $50. Ps your “list” system is the dumbest thing ever. Just hand over the item I came to pick up instead of making me wait.

The staff were friendly and very helpful when it was our turn for service. The glasses we needed were ready quickly and seem to be a good value. The man who helped us get the glasses adjusted was very helpful and explained everything my kids needed to know about wearing and caring for glasses in a relatable and easy to understand manner. My only small complaint is that it felt like I was interrupting them to get on the waiting list to start with. But, once on the list, everything went smoothly. Thanks for a great experience.

Great service, walk in or appointments and fair prices. Recommend going weekday off hours for better service -- we had two pairs made in about 15 minutes.

We went to vision for less because on their website it stated they took our vision insurance. Only after we arrived we found out they did NOT take the insurance. The employee was very helpful and stated they have told the head office to take this information off the website and she understood if we wanted to leave. She then told us about a deal where we could get 2 paid of glasses so we decided to stay since the glasses are for my six year old son and this is our spare set. However this is FALSE ADVERTISING! My son is very happy with his two spare sets of glasses...there was another pair he found after his two were already in the process of being made so if we loose or break we will have to remember there are two sides of the youth section because that also was not pointed out very clearly to us when he was looking at frames.

Brittany was awesome! I got one pair of glasses on Monday, they were ready on time and the prescription was correct (bifocals), but I really just didnt like them. I went back Wednesday to get them adjusted, and Brittany totally took care of everything, got me different glasses, cost me an extra $20. My husband has been very happy in the past too, youre not made to feel like you have to get 2 pairs and all sorts of extras.THANK YOU BRITTANY!

I have waited over 7 weeks and still do not have a pair of glasses I can wear. First they said my prescription was so high they had to order something to cut the lens, then they said they couldn’t get the lenses in my glasses. When I finally picked them up they made me sick to wear. I went back and the bifocal was not in the right place. So they reordered the lenses. I have not heard from them and it’s been 2 more weeks. At this point, I just want a refund and I’ll go someplace else.

Have been trying to find the right glasses for computer/paperwork. Finally Dr. Peterson suggested computer glasses and they fit my needs perfectly. I found some nice frames and good customer service conveniently next door at Vision4Less. Thanks a bunch 😊

Everyone was nice and the glasses framed really were 4 less everything went smooth and they were patient with us. My ONE complaint is that it takes quite a while for them to get to you once you are in the room. But its worth it in the end.

Absolutely amazing very quick and friendly staff made my 14 year olds exsperiance a very good one he was even telling people about it when we got home.

I was assisted by both Shantelle and Brittany. They were super friendly, efficient, and the glasses were ready when promised. The spectacles were made exactly as ordered. If it were possible to give six stars I would have...By the way, I dropped $200 for two pairs of bifocals (1 regular and 1 sunglasses). Thats a decent price, too!There was one thing I wasnt too thrilled about but sort of expected... When they advertise cheap frames for $19, they are indeed that... Plan on spending $50 bucks on up for better quality frames. They cut me a great deal on that second set of glasses.

After reading all of the horrible reviews, I almost waited a week to go to my regular eyedoctor. Background: my dog used my glasses last night as a chew toy while I was in the shower. Yeah. Awesome. Called my normal optometrist and it would be next week until he could see me and then add on 7-10 days for my new glasses to come in. Since I could only find my 10+ year old glasses, I scouted for somewhere faster. I called at 915 and the staff told me to just come on in. I had my eye exam and was picking out glasses shortly within the hour. *and this is with 2 people ahead of me. My glasses were done (TOTALLY DONE) within the next 30 minutes. Awesome experience, fantastic staff, super efficient. Highly recommend.

First time going to Vision4Less. I was very impressed with the speed of service at the Cedar Rapids, IA store. Areas of improvement are a broader selection of frames and less grouchy staff; not approachable and very short.

A few days back while playing with my son, I accidentally broke my glasses. Since I did not have an extra pair I had no choice but to buy a new pair immediately. Googling helped me look for a local store Eyemart Express where I not only got my old glasses repaired but a new one ready in no time. I was really impressed with the quick service.

We came in because my daughter broke her glasses. Sam was incredibly helpful and helped my daughter find a pair she LOVES. And it took less than an hour!! Well absolutely be back!

The people that work here are the most lazy people I have ever dealt with. Just calling to ask a question I felt like I was inconveniencing them. I called twice and got two different rude people. It has been this way for years but I kept going back because of the prices, but no more. I feel like it must be a prerequisite to be rude to work here. I will wait a week to get my glasses to avoid the frustration of talking to the staff in this store.

The associates at Vision 4 Less were very friendly and personable. I found glasses that I liked. The frames ranged in price but started at $19.95, but the add-ons are more expensive (tinting for $70, polycarbonate lenses for $40 more). The second frame is half off, which saved a lot of money (I got polycarbonate lenses in frames for $40). The only thing I felt could be improved was to hear all of my options and any relevant deals that could improve my options for a reasonable price. The associates didnt tell me about all of the add-on options and the prices. The glasses were ready after 20 minutes (first pair) and both were ready within an hour, which was great!

Forget all the negative reviews you may see on here. These folks are amazing. I bought two pair of glasses, and theyre fantastic. Will definitely come back!

Everytime I go to get a new prescription I always have a good experience. There was one lady who was definitely rude and pushy but the others made up for it. Otherwise a great place to get quality glasses cheap and good deals. Also very fast!

They are fast and courteous. Both pairs of glasses where done in under 30 minutes (one was ready in 7 minutes!). The ladies behind the counter are really nice and pretty funny too.

Wonderful experience. Went in not knowing if my ins would cover it. Shantal was willing to go the extra mile and research my ins company and was able to get me into some comfortable frames and I had glasses the same day.

I was in need of new sunglasses since mine had been stolen so I decided to try here. I waited for 45 minutes for someone to help. Dave finally called me to help me and tried 3 times to get me to go else where. If it wasnt for the fact that I needed the glasses to see while driving I would have, but I knew I should be able to get my glasses the same day. He never helped me pick out a style frame that would work for me or determine what all besides driving I would use them for. He did tell me that they had sales and specials along with what the prices were, but once I gave him the frame I like he told me with my prescription (-5.25 in both eyes) that the sales and specials wouldnt apply to me due to my vision. I was told my glasses would be ready by 6 pm and they would call or text me when they were ready.Nearly 24 hours after my order went in I had to call them. I sat on hold for nearly 4 minutes while they tried to find my glasses. I was finally able to get my glasses. Shantelle fitted them to me and sent me on my way. I would not recommend this place based on extremely poor customer service and some miss leading pricing.

I had a great experience here. When I got there shortly after 9am. I was helped right away. Got in for an exam with no problem either. When I came out from my exam I was 8th in line to be helped. The lady there was helping and answering phone all by herself. Short handed on help, she did an awesome job getting me helped when my turn came around. Got my text, came in and was given my glasses after a few adjustments. Was very happy with what I had chosen.One week later, noticed one pair of my glasses prescription seemed to be not right. Took them back and explained. They were taken to the lab with my concern. They were checked and nothing was found wrong. They decided to replace both lens for me at no additional cost. Im glad they did that because I got them back and I see perfectly through them now. No charge to me either. Great job!! Thank you!!!!

I spent over $400 for new frames and lenses, sent them back 5 TIMES and still cant see! Ive worn glasses for over 50 years this was the first time I was ever told I had to get use to my new prescription,... I asked if my eyes changed that much and they saId NO. The manager said they have very high quality of lens, but two other highly respectful eye doctors said differently.... Save your money and TIME go elsewhere.I will say this, they did work with me and tried everything to correct the problem. I did get my money back.
