Was very excited to get our 2017 Kia Sorento this year. It had 32k miles and it had a good price on it. We test drove and loved it. After going back and forth with the sales team we decided to purchase it. During the paper work process we were asked about the extended car warranty. I asked how hard it was to make a claim because the Kia had a turbo in it. The lady working said that I could literally pull the bolt out of the oil pan, blow the motor and they would not bat an eye about replacing it. Now 30k miles later the turbo has went out due to oil being burnt. When we went to make a claim they asked for a paper receipt of last oil change and said the change could not be done myself, which in my case, it was. I asked why now all of a sudden when its time to make a claim that everything changes? They did not have a response and are refusing to cover the cost to replace the turbo. I then asked exactly what I was paying for with the warranty and still no anwser. The employee handling our claim was professional but overall I would highly recommend that if you do buy from this dealer please do NOT get the extended warranty as it will be a waste of your money.

By far the worst experience I’ve ever had and will ever have buying any type of product. Not sure how they sell any car based on the absolute chaos that the place has 24/7. My first visit my “salesperson” was busy after he made an appointment with me two days before. I was handed off to another guy where he couldn’t even tell me if the car had apple carplay. I had to figure out how to bring that feature up along with literally every other feature my 2019 Jetta had to offer. Fast forward to me buying the car, I bought the car on a Saturday when they told me it’s be ready on Monday. I ended up waiting a whole another week to get the vehicle because the car had issues they were fixing. I received the car with a crack in the windshield and was told the car was fine leaving the lot and it was my issue and did not want to help me whatsoever. Another 3 weeks goes by and my car breaks down in the middle of the road. I ended up getting it towed to a VW dealership and saying that there is 2200$ worth of damage to the vehicle and the VW service shop telling me there is no possible way this is caused by driving and the car was assembled wrong. After I told Ron marhoffer about the damage they apparently did there best to try and find where it was assembled wrong. They didn’t end up paying for the damage, they didn’t want to help me at any point along the way. It’s easier to communicate with my puppy then trying to communicate with them (putting it nicely). This is my only review I have ever done on anything I’ve ever bought because this deserved to be shown to everyone thinking about going to Ron marhoffer. You better be 110% that the car you want has no problems and check it yourself multiple times because once you buy their cars, your no longer their customer.

Stay away they are liars. They will run your credit behind your back without asking you. I never was asked or signed anything. They gave me a trade in price before I went in and then claimed they couldnt find my guaranteed in the computer. Once I showed the screenshot they walked away like I wasnt speaking. I felt horriably uneasy the entire time. I would not recommend them at all completely a waste of time. Now I am having to file a dispute with the credit agencies that they fraudulently ran my credit

I recently finally gave in to my daughter begging me for a car. I have been doing business with Ron Marhofer in Green for years, so choosing them at their Used Car store in Cuyahoga Falls for a used car for my daughter was an easy decision. There was a great selection there, from cheap to something a bit newer. We gladly picked a very nice 2013 Kia Optima EX fully loaded. My daughter loves it and is making her older brothers jealous. Thank you Ron Marhofer for a car I feel that will help keep my daughter safe.

Five StarsIn this review, I will talk about (i) my sales experience; (ii) the price of the car; (iii) the practices of the dealer; and (iv) delivery of the vehicle.SALES EXPERIENCE. The salesperson who helped me purchase my car (a 2015 Mazda3 Touring) was named Jessica Justice, and I found her to be particularly helpful as a salesperson. She has an amiable personality and it was nice talking to her while she worked on some of the paperwork for the vehicle purchase. She also knew the vehicle history quite well, and when I was mistaken about one aspect of the vehicle history, she was able to helpfully point out the correct information about the car. She was also very responsive to emails and phone calls and she was proactive about notifying me about delivery updates, so I think you would do well to ask for her help on your next used car purchase. I brought along a letter of approval from the bank I used to finance the vehicle, and altogether it took me just 1 hour and 56 minutes to purchase a car on a Tuesday afternoon.PRICE. I had been researching third-generation Mazda3s for months before I actually bought this car from Ron Marhofer. Personally, I found their price to be competitive, given the context in which I bought the car (I decided, for whatever reason, to buy a car in April, a historically bad time to buy a used car given the number of people with IRS refunds, and an especially bad time this year in 2021 when people have stimulus checks burning holes in their pockets). Compared to similar cars on the market at the time of purchase (and the distance I would have needed to travel to purchase a different car), I am quite satisfied with the price I paid for my car.DEALER PRACTICES. For whatever reason, I had watched a lot of YouTube videos telling me about the kinds of fees that dealers would try to add to car sales, and so I had just unconsciously anticipated that this dealer would attempt to add a bunch of unnecessary fees that increased the price of the car. However, I was pleasantly surprised. Nothing strange (e.g. reconditioning fees, pinstripe fees, final destination fees on a used car) showed up on the final invoice, and so I would classify their practices as transparent. The financier did try to sell me an extended warranty (I cant remember whether it was a drivetrain warranty or just a warranty on the technology in the vehicle), but theres nothing wrong with this business practice in my opinion; I just wouldnt personally buy an extended warranty unless I had first compared multiple offers, and since I hadnt done this, I declined.DELIVERY. I live in Columbus, and since the car I purchased was a newer addition to the lot and was still being detailed, I elected to have the car delivered to me. I purchased the car on a Tuesday, and it was delivered a week later. I think the time between the delivery and the purchase would have been much shorter if it wasnt April (again with lots of people buying cars because of their tax refunds and stimulus checks). In this case, free delivery means that the dealership will drive the car to your address. In my case, the car was delivered with a quarter tank of gas, but that doesnt bother me. Unfortunately, Ive forgotten the name of the person who drove the car to my address from Columbus, but it was overall a good experience. I was mildly annoyed when the delivery estimates were pushed back from Friday to Monday, and then Monday to Tuesday, so I think that if youre able to pick up the car yourself, this would be a better option.I can update this review if anything extraordinary happens, but my conclusion at this point is that I had a good experience with Ron Marhofer, and so I can confidently say that I recommend this dealership!

Although I did not purchase a car from here, I really liked working with Kyle when he showed me cars. From the minute I walked in the door he was super helpful and fast. He was also very knowledgeable about the buying process and specs on cars. I was at other dealerships that day and the salesman I was working with couldnt answer half of my questions and tried over and over again to get me to buy OTD despite me telling them multiple times that I wouldnt. Kyle was very straight-forward and he didnt pressure me at all. Unfortunately the cars I saw were a bit out of my price range but I hope I can find more salesmen out there like him.

My wife and I just purchased a 2019 Dodge Caravan GT. From the moment we called to find out if it was still on the lot, we were treated with respect and a level of service we have never seen. Johnny K. had the van waiting for us when we arrived and pulled up a second alongside it for us to compare. We liked the second one better and took it for a spin. Upon return we checked the car fax and found out it had been in an accident. We then shifted to a 3rd one that John said was coming in from California. He went and checked to see if it had arrived yet and informed us it just got there and was in detail now. He told us to go get dinner on him and when we get back it should be ready! Who does that?! When it came out of detail it needed a couple dings popped out and minor scratches buffed out, but otherwise it was what we wanted. Johnny went through some paperwork and made sure all the minor defects would get taken care of the next few days and they would drive it out for free. He called the next day and the day after with updates and it turns out they were able to deliver it 2 days early. It arrives tomorrow and he assured me if anything wasnt up to our liking or what we discussed, to call him and they would take care of it. All around, an incredible guy to work with and a top notch dealership. We were there for 6 hours and never once felt rushed or brushed aside. Side note: The van was below blue book value and they have unlimited Snapple to drink while youre there.

Made an online appointment for a recall. Arrived. Checked in. Then was told I had to come back next week, they didnt have time to do the work that day. Came back in a week, they said they didnt have the required parts. Didnt tell me u appointments and after I took time off work and arrived at there dealership. Came back the following week and they told me they didnt have the parts AGAIN, they had committed then to someone coming in later. I insisted that after three visits they had to perform the recall. Finally they did. Totally clueless staff.

This is by far the best dealership Ive ever been to. They are very responsive and do not play any sales tactics with you. They have an excellent business model. They dont pay their sales rep to spend hours going back and forth with you about the best price of the car. They just start off by putting their best price on their cars (which are on average much lower than other dealerships) and if you dont like the price, theyll just show you another car.They follow up to make sure that after the purchase everything is fine with the car. The car I purchased from them unfortunately had some issues with the front suspension. I gave them a call and they took it in to take a look at it. 2 days later, they called me and told me that the car is all fixed and ready to go. They stand 100% behind the cars they sell.My sales rep was a really nice and helpful guy. If you visit, ask for Richard. I would definitely recommend him and this dealership to anyone wanting to buy a used car without the fear of getting scammed.

I made the mistake of impulsively buying a Mercedes. Fast forward a few years, some debt, and a credit score plummet, I found myself at this dealership looking for a nice and reliable car for my new family. Mindy and Angelina worked tirelessly to put us in the car of my dreams at a price I could work with. The dealership is incredibly nice and we felt welcomed and safe as soon as we walked through those doors. I never once felt like I was trying to be bamboozled. In July we took my 2011 Elantra in to have the snow tires belatedly (thanks to COVID) taken off, as well as other work needed. Dan Bajc was our exceptional guide through it all. He showed us, on the car, each item of work they recommended, then helped us prioritize the work as regards to safety and our budget. He answered our questions thoroughly and made sure we were comfortable with the work they would do. Once completed, all work done was meticulously documented, with photos, and summarized on the bill. In the future, we will ask for Dan, who was knowledgeable, courteous and... had a great sense of humor!

My husband and I went into Ron Marhofer Hyundai with an idea of what sort of vehicle we were looking for but still willing to have an open mind. He made us feel like we could be honest and ask questions throughout the entire process without him trying to pressure us into a sale...something we truly appreciated. After getting to know us and our budget needs, Steven was able to help us find a car that was in our budget (for much less than we anticipated). Though it wasnt the vehicle we original came in thinking about, Steven never once made us feel like we didnt have an option. He laid out the price and details for both vehicles and let us make a decision that we were comfortable with. After deciding to purchase, Steven was great about going over all the details of the car and making sure we had any and all questions answered while still respecting our time. We only have wonderful things to say about Steven, his sales manager, and Mark (finance). They made our experience fantastic from start to finish and weve already started telling family and friends about the experience. We will continue to utilize Ron Marhofer with all our vehicle needs!
