This LensCrafters is a relatively new store. Located in Destin Commons shopping center, it is convenient. As with most of the LensCrafters stores, there is an optometrist working there to examine, diagnose, treat and manage diseases and disorders of the eye.Dr. Heidi Gonzalez was impressive. She explained the results of the examination and took the time to go over the retinal images that were taken, pointed out the significance of items in the images, and, of course, developed a prescription for glasses if a new prescription was necessary.LensCrafters sells glasses so the business relationship works well. In this case, two of us had an eye examination to check our vision, current glasses prescription, and to determine if any changes were necessary for our eye glasses.LensCrafters has a wide variety of frames available and provides assistance in selected the frames and in ordering lenses for the frames and to meet personal preferences with the new lenses. In this case, Wes was available. He was knowledgeable, patient and very helpful in finding frames that fit well, were comfortable and met the personal preferences desired for the glasses.Our experience here was very good. Everyone we dealt with was friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help and contributing in providing a good experience.

I had an awesome experience here! After calling place after place, this was the first one that could get me in almost immediately, because it is a new location they had slots open and I was able to be seen next day. The staff was so friendly and helpful. 10 out of 10 stars!

Excellent Service while getting an eye exam and while ordering products. Kelly is amazing and went out of her way to help. She is very understanding and took the extra step I needed to understand my Insurance and products.

Dr Gonzalez is by far the most thorough eye doctor I’ve ever been to. She knows her stuff and takes her time with her patients. It’s definitely not about the numbers for her. If you need a new eye doctor or thinking about switching please…….. check her out.

I am newer to the area and had not found an eye doctor yet. Over the last month or so Ive had a hard time finding appointments. I was so happy to be able to book a same day appointment here. Dr. Gonzalez and her staff are incredibly friendly. Each person took the time to walk me through my results, answer any questions I had very patiently and lets not talk about the amount of time they spent with me while I picked out my new glasses. (It was a lot and Im grateful!) I checked with Dr. Gonzalez and she is committed to being here for a while. With that said, if youre looking for a long term (or even while youre in town) eye doctor -- hands down, come here. Great team and huge selection on eye glasses!

Donna Cooper was so awesome and helpful. We are on vacation when my husband’s LensCrafters sunglasses popped a lens. Donna fixed us up promptly. She’s a dear.

Had emergency glasses made in Daytona Beach store but they didnt have the Transitions available that day. Came here to the Destin store and again Ms. Donna was so helpful and very knowledgeable!

I’m down here on vacation and managed to break my glasses in the gulf. I’m damn near blind with out them. I went in and saw Donna. She was awesome she had them fixed in just a few minutes.

My nose piece to my glasses were taken out by the waves and we stopped by Lenscrafter to see if there was anything they could do. The lady working there promptly attended us and was very kind.
