The employees were nice! The reason I gave two stars is because of the long wait. I came at 1 and left at 6 all for an alignment and oil change. Terrible terrible terrible. I walked in @ 8am asked for a complete vehicle inspection, waited there until about Noon and they FINALLY got my keys. Waited a few more hours until 2:30pm, and my car was still in the same parking spot untouched, so i left and came back around 6:00pm and my car still hadn’t moved… many people that arrived after me had their cars done and gone, yet my car was still not touched… i was patient and polite, but this place has terrible time management and staff… i wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. NEVER going back !

What a JOKE!!! My elderly dad went to have front brakes on and $1800 later and 8-9 hours later AND then had to come back and pick up the next day AND the scrubbing was WAY worse PLUS a knocking sound that was NOT there before. Also the mechanics left their used gloves inside my dads car. BUT we’re so concerned about COVID wouldn’t give him paperwork either!!!!Took his car back this morning and the manager couldn’t tell us WHY or the measurements of WHY all rotors and brakes were replaced BUT sure was quick to pick up the phone and have his credit limit increased πŸ€·β€β™€οΈπŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ Also refused to give us his supervisors number so we could call him!!! DO NOT GO TO THE DOUGLASVILLE LOCATION!! I will put this all over social media to share in the hopes NO one is taken advantage of!!

Ive never seen someone work as hard and be so polite as the man working the front counter today. They were so overwhelmed with work and had so many people waiting, but customer after customer he met in a timely and courteous manner. It was apparent that this shop was one of the many businesses affected by labor issues, but he worked tirelessly for the 4 hours I was in there. No matter what he makes, that man deserves a significant raise. I am sure this applies to the rest of the staff as well, he was just the person I saw.

We spent close to $90 and 2 hours here yesterday only to discover at church how FILTHY they left our car. Grease covered finger prints all over the outside and inside of our car as well as trash left inside the vehicle. Very disappointed with how our car was treated. Appointments mean nothing. I scheduled one at 12PM and I’m still here 4 hours later for a tire replacement. If you value your time, I wouldn’t wait in the store. You’ll be here for a long time. In all seriousness I would not recommend this place at all as they do not take your time seriously. I understand if it’s busy but if I set an appointment and it’s confirmed by them, there’s no reason for my car to be sitting for hours.

This place is absolutely the worst and over priced. Sent a company vehicle to get tires and oil change. My driver had to set there from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm for 2 front tires and a oil change as they walked around talking and doing nothing this doesn’t make any sense at all.. I called them before taking my car up there and asked them if I have a wheel lock and didn’t have the keys could they still fix my flat tire. They stated yes no problem. I took my car to them at 9:00am on September 13. They told me there were only 2 cars ahead of me. I waited for 5 hours ( 2pm ), when they came and told me they couldn’t get the wheel off. I don’t understand why I had to wait 5 hours and miss work just for someone to tell me they couldn’t do it after I was told by them that they could. My tire is now completely flat by this time. I end up having to pump my tire up with my own personal air pump to leave their shop at 3:00pm. I have never experienced this lack of professionalism, courtesy, and lack of honesty and to just be truthful from any other company.It seems the management doesn’t mind so much unprofessionalism. I will never come back and do any business with this location nor will I refer anyone to do business here.

So I dropped my Vehicle off at approx 10:30 I came back at 1:40 and asked how much longer it would be and I was told it was they weren’t sure how much longer it was going to be. He said it could be a few more hours. I’m serious thinking about never going back to this location.

My suspension modifications were never a problem before, as I have been getting alignments from Firestone for years with no issues before this. Maybe they are just incompetent at this location. Scheduled an appointment over the phone for 8:00 Sunday morning. Got there and I, and another gentleman were told we couldnt wait on our cars and would need to leave them and come back maybe around Tuesday to pick them up. Was told they had cars in the shop, out front and in the back that they had to work on. I asked why are they taking appointments if they cant get to them in a timely fashion. Was told they get behind and basically appointments mean nothing. This is the 2nd time Ive experienced something of this nature. They are always my last resort because of their high prices and lack of customer service. Never again!

Called yesterday to schedule an appointment for for 1pm to get an oil change. Got here today a little late today like 1:30 due to an emergency. It is now almost 5pm and I am still sitting waiting on an oil change. There is no way that an oil change should take this long. I was just informed that they sent the wrong filter and now the wait will be longer. I will not come back to this location. Only one person was able to tell me why I was here so long. I am just so frustrated. I don’t think I will be back to this location.It is now almost 6pm and I am still here. This is just ridiculous 😑😑😑😑😑😑😑😑😑😑😑😑😑😑

I made an appointment on line and called 15 minutes after they opened to confirm. I asked how much brakes would be and was told I had to bring in the car to check first. I told him I knew how much they ran and wanted an estimate before I got there. He wouldnt tell me. Then he said he would call back to answer my questions because he had other customers. Im a customer too! It took him 3 hours to call back. My car was already done at another place. Firestone prices are ridiculous, thats why I wanted an estimate before hand and I didnt want to drive for nothing with bad rotors. As far as customer service, there isnt any. Ive had problems with this location before but on a Sunday I didnt know where else to go. Luckily I found a place. Firestone Douglasville GA-horrid!

I only have my vehicle serviced at the dealership or at Firestone in Douglasville. Mr. Harold, store manager, and Matt, mechanic, are excellent! I am out by the quoted time, never have to take my car back due to something isnt right after it has been serviced, they explain whats going on with my vehicle and advises accordingly. Its rare that I go in with intentions of having one thing done but is told that I need 10 repairs done. This location and staff rocks! I have dealt with Fred as well. I like his professionalism as well.

It started off bad over the phone. I had to explain to the young woman on the phone the nature of her rudeness. She apologized and said she was alone and it was busy. She did order the tire I needed and I set went later to get a new tire because of a pothole on 14th Street!! BTW- call 311 to report car damage from potholes. Take pictures, save receipts, etc and the City of Atlanta will reimburse you.Let me get back on track for this review. When I got there two gentlemen workers somewhat acknowledged my presence, but continued to talk to each for you another 6-7 minutes before asking how can I get you as I stood at the desk before them.I explained I ordered a tire, and he said it’ll be about a 3 hour wait!!!!!!OMG- I didn’t want to wait inside. The Dunkin’ Donuts was closed next door. So, I ventured across a very busy Howell Mill Rd to Arby’s. I was there approximately 45 minutes and got a call that my car was ready.This is why I’m giving them 4 stars. If it took them 3 hours. I would have given them 2 stars (maybe). But since they fixed my wheel much earlier than expected, I was so happy and it boosted my rating to four stars.I’ve had bad experiences with this location before. I usually drive all the way to Douglasville’s Firestone. They have EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE. But with one bad tire, I went to this location instead.

All I asked for was a quote for replacing front rotors and brakes. I was told I would need to bring in my truck so it could be measured. I have never in my life heard this. Before this, I took my truck in for brake replacement and an oil change. Once ALL of my wheels were off I was shown what needed to be replaced. I was told my brake caliper needed to be replaced which was a lie because that caliper was only a few months old. I told them to put my wheels back on. I went home and changed my own brakes. There is absolutely no point in having this credit card since I cant use it for any services. I dont even trust going to another location.

One star is considerably generous. This place is by far the worst firestone I have visited. It saddens me because my family has been faithful customers with firestone and bridgestone, however NOT this location. I went in for a AC service that was suppose to be around 200.00and now allegedly need an entire air compressor that they said will cost me over 1600.00. I reached out to a local service center and for a brand new air compressor its only 395.00.(.talk about price gouging.) I called back and explained I had found the part and would pay to have it installed and I was instructed they do not do that. They want me to pay them over 1600 for a 400.00 part brand new..wow..I guess it over 1200.00 for labor. When I took my vehicle into this firestone location my air compressor was fine and had a diagnosis done a the dealership prior to bringing my vehicle to this location now all of a sudden I need one. Not to mention they still charged me 200.00 for the AC service. I asked the associate 1. How is it that you dont notice I need a air compressor until after you serviced the vehicle. 2. How do I know you even serviced the AC and not just take my 200.00. None of the questions were able to be answered. It is so sad that business like this are taking advantage of people certainly in a pandemic. I wound not recommend this location to my worst enemy, it should be illegal how they are scamming people.

I wish I could give them zero stars. I’ve been a faithful customer for 20 years but this location has completely lost my business. I had my vehicle towed in not starting. They let me know know that day which was Thursday at lunch time what was wrong with it and I okayed the work. At 7:15 pm the next day (they close at 8:00pm) I received a call asking when I’m coming to get my car. I ask if I can pick it up by Sunday morning and I can provide a credit care for them if they were worried about the pay. I explained no one has called me and I was on my way out of town. I assumed it was not ready since I did not get a call. I assume it was the manager whom I was speaking with; stated that if I don’t get it by Saturday they would add storage fees because his guys stated I was told it was ready.Excuse me? I was halfway out of Atlanta and had to turn around. I arrived and asked if you can see when I was called then let me know when I was called. The man working stated you were called Thursday at noon. I said yes that’s when I said proceed with the work. Then he states that’s when they told you it was ready. How? How can you tell me what’s wrong and that the car is ready at the same time? I will never use Firestone again. My previous time at this location the car was towed in for a flat and it took 24 hours to fix a flat how could I assume my car was ready if it took 24 for 1 flat. I’m very disappointed with my interaction with this store.

This place is overly priced and the technician just doesn’t care. I spent $126 for just the oil change and a look around inspection, and I drive a toyota sedan. not even a luxury car. They literally just looked around the car, and They don’t even realized that my car had the check engine light and pressure light on. terrible service. I hope I can do zero star. The manager seems like a very nice guy, but not up front about charges. I ordered tires and got a quote for installation through Tire Rack, at this location, for $40.06. I pulled the truck in and made a couple of mistakes because I trusted that the amount I would be charged would be the $40.06 quoted through Tire Rack. First I did not request (nor was it offered) to have the charges disclosed up front. They installed the two tires and as I was going up to pay, the manager tried to upsell me a $199 lifetime alignment, which I declined. Now I made the second mistake: I simply allowed my credit card to be chargedβ€”again without inquiring or having the charge disclosed to me. I asked for a receipt and the manager stated that it would be emailed. So I left, assuming I would be charged $40.06. When I checked my email, the invoice was for $50.37. Now I’ve had to waste my time calling Firestone, e-mailing Tire Rack customer service, etc. Might be easier to just call AmEx and dispute the charge. It’s ironic that they have a large sign hanging in the waiting area, a quote from Harvey Firestone stating that integrity is the foundation of business.

I was recently at this location for noise coming my wheel area. A young man named Roddy was assign to check it out and I needed tires brakes and alignment. I never felt like I was being haggled he explained everything that he’d be doing to it and in two hours I was heading out. I’ve spent most of day at some places for a simple oil change. If anything else go wrong I will be back to this location and I live in powder springs. Everyone was nice but that guy made my experience easy and better

Broke/lost my wheel locks and sent my daughter home on a wet road with shaking wheels. When I called they claimed that since they made a notation its not their problem, but the locks were there when the car went in for service. Please dont take your car here for any service. WRONG!We took it to another shop and had it looked at and repaired and oil change at a villa Rica mechanic shop on Hwy 78.Firestone did say they do not replace that part but what Im concerned about is that the mechanic obviously was wrong in his overview of what was wrong it was totally misdiagnosed. On top of that, they did not tell me the price after the service was already done and I had no choice but to pay it. My recent visit to this Firestone Auto Care in Douglasville at Arborplace was Amazing. As soon as I walked in with a welcoming greeting from (Mr. Clarence Riley) made feel great in the morning. When it was time to talk about what I needed done and after the Technician (Greg) recommended I was comfortable with allowing Firestone to do the work that needed to be done. I really followed the store management when he (Mr. Clarence Riley) was managing the Union City location. The information i was giving was clear. I made a 1 o’clock appointment, arrived at 12:45, and left at 2:50. I came in specifically to get my headlights fixed and get an oil change. In the 3 hours, all I managed to get was an oil change. Service agent got irritated after I kept rushing him so I can leave to go pick up my son. I already stated before that I needed to leave by 2:45 and he advised that I would be done by that time. Today I was a walk in to get 4 new tires. I had looked online and found some tires for my car to be prepared. In speaking to Maurice, the person at the front, turns out the tires I found were being discontinued. Now he didnt have to tell me that. Ive been to other places before for tires and I KNOW they would have said nothing in order to make a profit. I really appreciate his honesty and patience with explaining things so that I understood everything. Always changing the prices on me. My car stopped on me in the middle of the road on Sunday when they just had me wait 5 hours on Friday to get an inspection, oil change and tire rotation. Even on the inspection their recommendations had nothing to do with anything that could cause my car to stop on me. Every time I come to this location my car ends up worse than before I came in. I dropped my car off 1 day and the lady told me it would be $72 for my car bulb then I was called later to now that bulb being $162 to making my new total $240. This location is the closest to my house but now Im going to have to travel further or find somewhere else because this is the 3rd situation where Ive had t bring my car back for an issue I paid for them to fix. Very unsatisfied

Took my daughters car there for a radiator repair. They repaired and didn’t replace the hose so it was still leaking fluid and running hot, had to take it back. Tools it there for an oil change and paid for a full diagnostic test to make sure it was ok, they said everything was fine. The very next day it stopped on her in the middle of the road. Took it there for a front bulb change, they told her one price and then told her a higher price around $164. They checked her brakes and told her they will need to be done and told her one price and then another. We will just have to go out further to a location that actually knows what they are doing. I don’t know if they are under staff or if they have given proper training but every time is not a pleasant experience.

Regularly overschedule appointments compared to the amount of workers available. When youre spending money, the work is expedited. If you are in to use their lifetime alignment service, be prepared to get put at the furthest back of the appointment list. Scheduled appointment for 11am, arrived at 10:30, told it would be an hour or so. Currently it is after 1:30, and the car is still sitting in the parking lot, untouched. I am extremely patient, to a fault sometimes, but this is not the first time this has happened here. I understand being understaffed, and I understand being busy, but the fact that it is a regular occurrence at this location is unacceptable. Generally speaking, the work done is done well enough, although I have had negative experiences previously (saying that certain things need to be replaced that are brand new, and not just suggestions based on mileage). Basically, service takes forever, and know what youre going in for.Update: It is now 2:45pm. My car is still sitting in the parking lot. Multiple other customers have stormed out abut being skipped over by other customers. I have contacted corporate, and while the woman (Jennifer) I spoke to was very nice, I expect very little to come from the area manager calling me back. Fred at the counter while he generally remains professional, does little in the way of handling customer complaints. The management of this store needs to be replaced, because lacking doesnt even come close to describing the how poor it is. Take your business somewhere else.Update #2: My car was finally taken back at 3pm. An hour or so after leaving, I was called by the store manager about this review. He basically said that what I said was not true, mildly berated me, and that appointments meant nothing to them. I believe his exact phrasing was, Just because you have an appointment at a certain time doesnt mean your car will be seen at that time, which I get, because things happen with previously scheduled cars, but 5 hours is absolutely excessive. He also mentioned that if it were up to him, they wouldnt allow appointments, because corporate overschedules them. Dont know if thats true, because simply put, I dont work there, but maybe someone from Firestone corporate should look into his accusations. As for him berating me, my reason for coming in was that I had to replace inner and outer tie rods. When you replace them, while you can set the alignment *close* by measuring the old ones, you still should have the alignment done. 2 weeks ago, I had replaced one set (passenger side), and had the car aligned, purchasing the lifetime alignment service, knowing that a week or so later I would be taking care of the drivers side tie rods. The store manager looked at my history and said, I see you were in earlier this month for an alignment, whats the matter, you hit a pothole or something? So, not only is the manager saying that scheduled appointments are meaningless to him, but also implied I was a liar, by saying that the people who I saw come in after me, *with scheduled appointments ranging from 12pm-2pm*, and then having their work completed before mine. Having had 5 hours to sit and wait, I had plenty of time to assess the situation. Plus adding the snide pothole comment, just the icing on the cake. As a person who regularly sends people their way, the Firestone of arbor place not only lost myself and my familys fleet of cars, but any customer that asks for recommendations as to where to take their vehicle for tires or alignments. Id rather drive the half hour plus to another location before bringing my vehicles back.Again, take your business elsewhere.

Management was friendly and accommodating. That being said, I was told the alignment couldnt be done because the ties rods were seized and should be taken to a muffler ship for some hot work to get the bolts loosened. After noticing how slowly the guy working on it moved, I wondered if maybe a little effort was too much to ask. I took it home, jacked it up, loosened them myself with a wrench and a couple taps of the hammer like you normally would (Ive worked on these myself). So take it here for the simple stuff (tires, oil change) but dont expect much more.

I went and had my oil changed and tires rotated today at the firestone at 6341 Arbor Place Blvd Douglasville, GA 30135. We paid and left Firestone went less that a 1/4 mile and the left back tire flew off my car. I called and made a Claim but with all that happened the employee Fred really disappointed me with his lack of concern or motivation to help get the car out of the way of high traffic area. It took him over an hour and half with many phone calls before I could get him to get a tow truck. He said his β€œnormal tow truck guy said his truck was broken” and I had to ask him if he called anyone else he said he would 20 minutes later I called Fred back And he said β€œI have called 3 or 4 tow companies and no one is answering, then he said do you have triple A?” I gave him the number of tow company then 15 minutes went by and I called tow company and ask asked if they called and he said NO. If I could rate this visit less than one star I would. Everyone knows the running joke about how mechanics try and take advantage of women, because the assume women dont know any better.. Well this location is a perfect example of this N I THINK BEING A JOKE! My entire experience was about my having to insist that b the quotes they were providing me were actually available for a MUCH cheaper price than what they were offering. The staff (including BOTH MGRS)spent a majority of the time working to convince me of repairs I KNOW I dont need and charging me full price for services that I know were on sale. There was extreme dishonesty and clear sexism at this location. And to further support that it wasnt just me; after about 2 hrs waiting for my car repairs. Another woman walked in and was extremely upset about how they should over charged her, guaranteed services that were poorly done, and had told her theyd completed things that still were not working. She was highly upset and quite frankly, I totally understood her frustration. During her rant I overheard her mention this type of service is clearly why this location only has a 1.5 rating.. WOW! Had I known any of this I never would have approved the work on my truck... Certainly after my experience today there is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY that I can trust the judgment, the word, or the professionalism of this particular location. I would rather drive the 45 minute distance to the alternative Firestone than to be taken advantage of and manipulated by this location, just for the sake of convenience. NEVER AGAIN!

I made an Appointment yesterday for today at 11:00 I showed up 15 minutes early. When I arrived I had to wait 10 minutes Before someone helped me. and Then I was told they only had One Mechanic and that it would be awhile. There were 6 cars in the shop and about 8 in the Lot. I asked if he thought they could get to it? and he said I dont know? My day was wasted I will never go to a Firestone again.They could have called me and let me know, and I would not have wasted my day and went somewhere else...

I was passing through Douglasville, headed home to Charleston, when all of a sudden several maintenance lights came on and my car started acting crazy. I called around to local areas, this firestone had the shortest wait time. The employees were such sweet hearts and made this damsel in distress feel a lot better. I definitely recommend!

Todays visit was very pleasant and service improved a lot compared to my first experience from Saturday 9/14/19 at this location. On that early Saturday morning I was scheduled for an appointment @7am for four new tires and a lifetime alignment. The service couldve been better due to the fact I waited for FOUR hours while the location manager was aware and failed to notify me of the long wait time and was non-chalant about the entire situation. At the end of my transaction when I notified him of theyre lack of customer attentiveness he took offense. After 2 hours of waiting and seeing numerous customers come and go with service completion I should have been notified and given an option to go and come back but neither were suggested. I was simply told that I needed brakes (which i declined) and was told i would be ready soon. Lo and behold 2 hours later after that, my service was completed finally. I ended up leaving a customer complaint with the corporate office in which I feel resulted in improved customer service on my 2nd go around.

Took my car here to get it serviced and exactly a week later I have a blown head gasket. At the mechanic been doing his job he would have more than likely found the leak in coolant that would have prevented me from having a blown head gasket. So now I am out of a car and I paid $300 to have my car serviced here just a week before the head gasket blew. A waste of my money. People please always get a second opinion on your cars. This is the second car Ive had destroyed after Ive taken it to Firestone. I will never go to another Firestone location.

At this location in Douglasville, Ga. they are crooks! I drove my vehicle in this morning to have a smoke test done to check for leaks in my evap system and to get my A/C checked. I returned to get my vehicle and I am now not able to drive it; it sputters and cuts off as soon as i reach 25 mph. The store is telling me that its my problem or that I will now have to pay extra to have it fixed. I called their corporate office so I am now waiting to see what happens next.Update:They are now telling me that they dont have the equipment to properly diagnose or repair my vehicle. So i drove my vehicle in this place now I have to tow it back home!They also quoted me $1500. to repair my A/C. I took my vehicle to another shop and it only cost me $100 to have it repaired!I dont know what happened to this location; they use to provide good Service but now it seems like they just want to rip you off!STAY AWAY!!!

I was reassured by phone yesterday and this morning when I dropped it off that they have the correct fluid. 2 hours later they call me and said they dont have the fluid and have to order it!! I am ashamed of Firestone as a company! A couple months back I began having trouble with the power steering on my car. I have always used Firestone complete auto care of Hiram and Tires Plus of powder springs for all of my car’s.upkeep and maintenance. I have a credit account with this company and so I took it to douglasville. It was mainly a convenience issue.This location misdiagnosed my car issues and had me repair things that didn’t need repairing and now cannot afford to fix the original issue bc of the wasted money. They had me replace power steering pump, put a new rack & pinion steering and a new drive belt and then determined the pump wasn’t the source of the fluid leAk. These useless, unnecessary repairs were almost $2k and bc of their incompetence my car is in worse shape than originally brought in. They have been unapologetic for their malpractice. This Firestone is a disgrace and I will NEVER take a vehicle to them again

My husband told me my tires were all 12-15 lbs low. When I couldnt find a working air station I went to Firestone. Very nice man inside showed me where to take my car. VERY nice young man tells me he needs to get the tire specs off the label on the door. I told him my husband said 45 - 50 lbs. He said the label on door said 32 lb front 29 rear (or maybe vice versa) He aired the tires to those amts, I tipped him $5 that I dont begrudge him even though he was mistaken.The cars ride was very bouncy on the way home. When I told my husband he said the side of the tire says 45 lbs and the label on the door means nothing since Honda didnt make the tire.I got the car aligned here and was pleased with the work and experience. They are professional and good at explaining technical things

They lost my hub cap center piece and sent me to the dealership to replace and then I had to come back to be reimbursed. I tried them again and they damaged my vehicle and gave me the run around. They never called me back after several attempts in person to address the problem. They kept claiming the person I needed to see was out. I was offered a free oil change, Im not returning. My car overheated on the interstate after I asked them to check it before I took a trip out of town. Very disappointing, ruined my vacation.

Oil changes take several hours. They also do free check engine light scans and that takes them almost the entire day. If I didnt have my tire warranties etc there I would go to another place since they dont care about customers. I used to leave them with my spare Honda key and they once switched it with another persons key by accident so I had to drive all the way back up there to trade the keys out. Unorganized and unprofessional. Make plans for the entire day if you plan on using this location since your car will most likely be there all day.

Overall the car came out fine but the lengths it took to get there were absolutely ridiculous. I dropped my car off for a simple break service Tuesday morning and was not able to pick my car back up until Saturday afternoon. While inspecting the car they also found out the spindle was bad so I told them to go ahead and replace it and that is where the nightmare begins. First they said itll take an extra day because they would have to order the part from the dealership and before they did so brittany told me it was a $200 part. I call on Thursday and they tell me its not ready but it will be by Friday. I call Friday and they say itll be ready that afternoon. I call Friday afternoon and surprise its still not ready. I was given several different lies or excuses as to why it was not ready. Finally they call me Saturday afternoon and tell me its ready. I asked again what the price would be as brittany told me Thursday it would be $772. He told me they would take off my $280 spindle part (yes a new price for the spindle) for my inconvenience which would bring the total to $880. Lol I told this guy (I didnt catch his name but it was a foreign man) i had already been quoted a price $100 less than that and that was BEFORE any discount. He was clearly irritated and said he would take care of it. When went to pick the car up they still tried to lie and lie about the price of things. This place is an absolute joke. Never again. I literally only gave two stars because at least my brakes arent grinding anymore.
