The person working as the greeter definitely needs to work on their costumer service skills. Despite that, Chris was the best. So friendly and easy to work with. After waiting for over an hour, Chris got me out of there happy and with a new phone in less than 15 minutes after working with him. He made the bad initial experience worth it. Thank you Chris!

Spent 45 in the store trying to charge a phone case to my account, and by the time they got it to work, I had searched online and realized that the case they were charging me $29.99 for could be gotten for around $12. I immediately canceled the transaction and left.While I was waiting for them to try and fix their system though, I got to hear an interesting conversation between a potential customer and the manager. The customer wanted to buy a new phone, but the manager told him that they didnt sell any phones during the last hour of business, and that he would have to make an appointment. This upset the customer, because there was nearly a half hour left until closing time. The manager relied, sorry, but last night I didnt get out until 8:15 pm. They close at 7 pm. So be aware, if you want to buy a new phone, youre going to be there at least an hour, because thats the fastest they can help you, apparently.

They are nice until you say something about something that did that wasnt working out right for you or your account. Then attitudes start to fly and they start refusing services. Calling them a privilege not a requirement.

So... Been a Verizon customer for years. I went in to upgrade a phone. Spent $900. Very helpful and courteous. Then spent another $15 / month on a protection plan. Explained everything nicely. Spent another $100 on accessories... As SOON as I signed on the dotted line, it was, like, OK you can go now! Wait!! I need help setting this new phone up and moving everything over! Was handed a piece of paper and told to do it myself at home. That was 3 days ago. Went back in begging for help again. Have to go back in 5 days cause I have to have an appointment.The worst service I can remember from any business Ive dealt with in years.

Awful service. You have to make an appointment - but how are you supposed to know that? Call their # and it goes to a corporate menu... Show up in person and you might get stonewalled and told to order a phone online for in-store pickup... in the 10 minutes you spent shutting me down, you could have just sold me a new phone LOL. Check out the authorized retailer locations - theyre super helpful.

Worst Verizon in the area. Waited in line 20 minutes, to be told I needed to have an appointment. My phone had gone blackscreen so I needed a new phone asap. Manager was not helpful, soonest they could get me in was tomorrow at 1pm. Im here now, when the store opened, with money and I know what I want. Just take my money. So I asked for his manager, told they were not there. Asked for the corporate manager, told they dont give out that info. So I asked one last time if he could sell me a phone now, told no.So I left. Went to the location in Thurston near Albertsons and was set up with a new phone all ready to go, screen protector and case in 30 min. 10 of which was waiting on the liquid screen protector to dry. Even had time to talk about different plans available and what tablet deals there were...The customer service and help I received at the Thurston location was the best Ive ever had at a Verizon, ever.I will not be returning to the Verizon on Coburg. This wasnt the first time their customer service was atrocious. If you have a good experience here, count your lucky stars. Over the years Ive experienced incompetent employees, being lied to in order make a sale. Lied to that there is no restroom, when I know there is one because my pregnant wife was reluctantly allowed to use it once.In all fairness, I did have one good experience with a competent employee, thats one time in 10 or so years Ive been a Verizon customer.Ive read through a few of the other low star ratings and the owner always has a generic comment about how they strive to improve... well do it then, dont just post a comment. Get it done. Your store is not good.

They sold me a defective phone, but would not reimburse me for the screen protectors that I put on it. The manager was rude and made no effort to help me, even though they were at fault and their online support team had told me they would issue me a credit. Very disappointing and we will definitely be taking our plan elsewhere when the contract is up.

One of the most disappointing trips Ive been into a Verizon store. Sad when they dont even want to put any effort into helping what they call valued customers the week of Christmas when my wifes phone broke. Just sit back and well my hands are tied unless you have a handful of money because the bill was a little past due. Does the last 6-7 years mean nothing to yall. I would think someone would have built up some kind of credit in that amount of time to get some kind of working phone to call family and whatnot.

When I went, there was a decently long wait but I was happy to see people following social distancing protocols. I got asked twice how they could help me, and after a brief wait got a call to head into the store.I talked/worked with Ross (the tallest guy in here) about switching from T-Mobile to Verizon and upgrading my phone. Ross gave me tons of helpful information and guided me to what it sounded like I was looking for. I wasnt sold on either Apple or Android, and he informed me pros and cons of both sides, as well as giving me his personal opinion, without swaying me to buy a certain phone or the most expensive one (which was something I was watching out for to begin with and is big for me).I talked to Ross for quite a while, and he helped me with lots of other questions I had that came up as we were talking. I left without actually doing business there today, but I felt like I gained a lot of valuable information and more than likely will be swapping to Verizon and purchasing a phone through this store.Overall, the wait wasnt ideal, but I understand why it may have taken longer with COVID and it being a Saturday, so that didnt bother me. I recommend this store and seeing Ross for help because he made my opinion feel listened to and provided very useful information.

We went in to register for Verizons military discount.Within moments, an employee, Betty came up and asked if we needed help. She quickly took care of getting us signed up.She then reviewed our current plan, and showed us an unlimited plan that actually would cost us less than the plan we were on. Talk about win-win!This employee has great knowledge of product and services that are offered! I appreciated the fact that she told us that if there were any problems with our changes, we could contact her directly with her personal contact info that she provided.The store is well laid out, with an open floor plan.Great experience!

My Samsung frontier watch just went black and has no marks scratches or any damage what so ever. It just wont turn on but the staff said it looked like I had pressure smashed it maybe in my sleep. Its been less than a year that I purchased it and the staff tryed to scare me by telling me that if they do send it back to verizon and the tech decides its smashed or water or any other thing they deam as my fault i will be automatically charge to my account for a new watch with no say on my part. I wish that they didnt bully you into feeling like your best move is to just buy a new watch today.

Only reason I am giving four stars is because the service we received from a gentleman and I forget his name. He was patient, energetic, and really listened to our concerns about switching over from AT&T. The manager Letty wasn’t someone I would hire myself. She awkwardly introduced herself and pushed product on us. When the sales rep was helping my husband, I witnessed Letty following our sales rep around hounding him in a derogatory way for what he “wasn’t” doing. It was actually tough to watch. Letty, you have a gem on your team, you should treat your team more kindly.

Worst experience ever..... and believe me I have patience considering I have worked in the service industry most of my adult life. I took my daughter in to upgrade her phone and when I checked in I was told about a 20 minute wait, not bad you could tell they were busy so we hung out. About 30 minutes later I get a text alert that we are up next, still not bad but after another half hour and still just hanging out waiting I finally got irritated enough and left. We definitely will not be back I will take my business elsewhere but had they just been up front about the wait time to begin with I would have respected that instead of feeling like I wasted over an hour of my life.

Needed a new phone, been a Verizon customer for 15 years so visited this store. They took care of social distancing, etc. Im sure that is why they seemed to be in a hurry to get me out of there. My complaint is their refusal to recycle my old phone. Very poor service, even though phones are their business. Also charged me $40 for the upgrade! I told them I didnt want a fancier new phone - I wanted the same phone as much as possible. They didnt set my new phone up - basically told me I can easily do that myself. So what did the $40 pay for?

Very busy at times. Not much parking available. I was lucky enough to get a good spot the other day. My phone wasnt working and there was a 45 minute to one hour wait. It did drag, but thankfully, I stuck around. The staff is very knowledgeable. Verizon can be expensive at times, but it does have good quality and good cellular service, which I enjoy. Basic phones are overpriced, not like many purchase basic phones nowadays. The staff will do their best to help you and resolve a solution. I havent had any problems with their employees. The wait time could be better, but not much they can do about that. They also spent a good 15 minutes helping me. Be prepared for a long wait though. You might get lucky, but not usually.

The representatives of the company, their technicians are always stepping up to the plate to give great customer support. I rent them five stars and Beyond. We have 6 lines and 3 tablets plus are buying 5 of our phones and are still paying about the same as we were paying when we were with T Mobile. We have all the bells and whistles, unlimmited everything great phones great service, great support too. We left T mobile after 14 years because they were rude and their service was awful and they were billing us for things that we didnt have (like $250 equipment!) And had Never had purchased in places we had never been by people not on our account! Verizon has been great.

Was lied to by an associate that works at this location. I purchased 2 IPhone X’s, and was told I had to get an IPhone 8 to take advantage of their “sale”. Come to find out it was a $699.99 credit that could of been applied to another IPhone X.... Now I am stuck with the IPhone 8 per corporate because I didn’t figure this out until after the “14 day grace period”. I will be canceling my service with this company and switching back to A.&t... At least they don’t mislead their loyal customers!

I have worked in the customer service industry for a long time and Ive never once wrote a review based on a bad experience, but this store is the worse. The employees all more or less ignored me in favor of other customers with easier questions and sunnier faces. When I did get help it felt condescending and like they just wanted me to leave. The person who helped me kept saying, I understand but it was obviously a line with no actual sentiment behind it. Watching them work with other customers while I waited made me feel cheated as they were very friendly to others and super cold to me. I dont know what is wrong with this store because the employees at the 11th street store are really nice and helpful. I STRONGLY recommend you go there and stay away from a place that had me crying in the car on the drive home.

I was just in the store today to upgrade my phone. I had to wait for about 40 or 45 minutes, but they were upfront about the wait time when I came in so I knew what I was getting into. The sales associates were friendly and helpful. Yes I waited a long time, but when I actually talked to an associate I appreciated that they didnt act like they were rushing me. They answered my questions competently and were patient, thats really all that I can ask.

While I dont like Verizon as a company, I had amazing service today at this location. I dont see myself giving 5 stars to a place like this often, but they deserved it!I finally got myself a tablet added onto my plan and chose in-store pickup instead of delivery. I called ahead and they said it was ready. I drove down and got to meet Maleec. (I hope Im spelling it right) He was super helpful and knew the answers to all my questions. Once Im ready to upgrade my cheapie phone Ill definitely come back for him. Keep up the good work and knowledge! Its hard to find a personable great rep like him these days. Excellent work!

I edited my review because I went back and theyve streamlined service, so if you need something simple you dont have to wait at the counter. WTG, Verizon, and I still love my Willamette Street alternative. Just get Verizon in the Willamette Valley. Best coverage in rural locations. Trust me, your kids/grandkids will go there, and the premium is worth your peace of mind.

The staff does their best to be helpful, however the wait time is beyond ridiculous. Every time I visit this store I debate whether I should be a Verizon customer, when as a customer Im forced to wait in a place that means standing till its my turn. Verizon is expensive, they can afford to treat customers better and provide a better store space - with more seating available.

Hit or miss. When I have a good employee, things are great. Problem is, you might have to wait an hour for service before getting any help. Your best bet is to research as much as you can at home and online. They will try and up sell you as much as they can.

I dont understand this and I plan going up the corporate ladder I went into the store today to replace a lost phone and needed to use the rest room. The employees said they didnt have a rest room and that I needed to go a few doors down the another business. I challenged the employees directions of not having a restroom for customers his reply was very rude and quite disturbing and insisted that I go some where else so I did. What I found out from the business next door is that they were told by Verizon employees that its their policy to refuse restroom services so that it keeps people from hanging out in their store.I do not agree with any policy that refuses rest room services to customers especially disabled or handicapped customers! This is not a good business plan!!!!!!!!!! :( :( :(

Just switched to Verizon from Sprint and Ive never had such great service. The sales guy Mathias was super friendly and very knowledgeable about their products and services. He explained everything clearly and made sure all my questions were answered. He set up my new Samsung Galaxy and all my contacts were transferred to my new phone before I left. I am recommending Mathias to some friends and family that are thinking about switching. Excellent service!

I almost didnt go to this store because of all the negative reviews, but Im glad I did. Before I was six feet into the store I had been greeted by TWO different employees, the second of which immediately asked me what she could help me with. Very friendly and professional. They did NOT try and push a whole bunch of unasked for products or services, as was described by other reviewers. The store was clean, modern and well organized and the staff seemed to work as a well oiled machine. Even though I didnt wind up buying anything, I still felt well respected and served. I decided it would be only fair to leave a positive review to help defer the other largely negative ones. Perhaps they used to be a shabby act, but I saw not evidence of that on my visit; they seem to have (gotten) their act together. Well done.

Horrible customer service. My family and I went into this store to hopefully figure out why my husbands phone wouldn’t charge and possible upgrade two lines. We were told it would be about a 10 minute Wait. There was maybe two other couples in the store and 4 employees ( that we could see, including the guy who checks people in.) we waited over 30 mins, not once checked in on and a man who came in after us was helped first. Having two kids with us this was beyond frustrating so we left. The employee at the front didn’t seem to mind as he didn’t even make eye contact as we left. Wouldn’t suggest this store to ANYONE!

Sean and his team are wonderful. Id spent hours on the phone with VZW customer service and each person I spoke with lead me down a dead end road. I was beyond frustrated and about 2 minutes away from leaving Verizon altogether. Thats when I decided to give them one more shot and see if I could get some help at my local Verizon store. I asked to speak with a supervisor and he was assisting me within minutes. Sean, the GM, greeted me with a smile, was courteous and beyond helpful. He was able to provide me with a few options to solve my problem and shared his opinion on each, to help guide my decision making. His customer service was beyond my expectations. He interacted with his staff a few times while he was helping me, and I could tell they really enjoyed having him as a boss, too. Major kudos to Sean and his team at the store on Coburg Rd.!

Though my husband just came for a phone, and didn’t want to be bothered about anything else (my husband made that clear) he still politely introduced accessories that my husband hasn’t stopped thinking about. If you want a salesperson who takes care of you and your needs and does not come off as pushy, ask for Maleec! He understands the modern day way of sales (be yourself, truly address the needs of people, listen, make sense to why your selling something) and is a very honest person. Funny as well! Apparently this store picks and chooses which customers they want to give early (earlier an 7 day) upgrades. I knew someone who went here and upgraded his phone 12 days early, but when I went in 8 days before my early upgrade, they denied me.Even Verizon customer care offered to upgrade, but they wouldnt offer me the same consideration.

We were greeted by a friendly person by the door and they got to us quickly to help us with purchasing a new phone. Joseph helped us and he was very pleasant and very helpful in explaining the new system to us (since Verizon has stopped doing contracts) and offered advice to help us save more money on our plan. This is the kind of service Ive always wished I could find at Verizon, while at other locations people have been grumpy and not very helpful and did a lot of aggressive pushy upselling which no self respecting person would respond well to! Very glad to find that instead here we were politely reminded about the accessories that Verizon offers for the model of phone I was buying, without feeling forced into anything. After reading all the bad reviews I really didnt want to deal with the store so I placed my order online. When I ran into problem with my online order, I ended up at the store after all - and my experience with staff there was more than positive. Jennifer Hamilton took all the time needed to fix one problem after another. I was impressed by her friendliness and efficiency. We go in for an upgrade and the sales person kept pushing things on us we dont need. He also downloaded information from our old phone to the new one using my own data with out telling me. I get notices and a bill of over charges. 2 Phone calls later and 3 weeks the problem with the bill is still not resolve. The store may be fine, but the national sales line is abysmal. The phone tree routed me to the wrong desk, then the sales guy was spectacularly unhelpful. Didnt ask questions, didnt know the products very well, and was overall difficult to work with.
