Came here for a prescription for contact lenses. After multiple visits and many unsuccessful trial contact lenses of varying prescriptions, over a span of many months, I gave up. I would also like to add, that no one ever followed up with me and I was never given instructions on how to apply contact lenses or remove them, verbally or on paper. They told me to “YouTube” it. Also, never was I told how long I should wear the contacts to adjust to them as a new user.I was told to wear the trial contacts to my follow up appointment, which I drove to and almost got in a car crash because I couldn’t see distance correctly.I dreaded every visit here. I did not feel the doctor cared and felt like I was somehow a nuisance. My insurance didn’t cover this and I paid out of my pocket for a prescription I never got.
I never post reviews but feel as if this is justified. I was 3 mins late to a 12 noon appointment on June 18th. I was stuck in traffic blah blah blah life happens. Karen had called me while in route to ensure I was coming in. I told her I would be a few mins late due to the traffic. Arrived 3-5 mins late as expected, shame on me. I fill out a few forms and speak with Wendy to confirm my paperwork information. Wendy says right this way the Dr. will be in shortly as she’s leading me to the exam room. I ask Wendy if I could use the restroom prior to the exam. On my way back to the exam room Karen stops me and tells me I now need to wait in the lobby. I said oh no I was working with Wendy and she was setting me up in the exam room. Karen repeats that I need to wait in the lobby because another patient arrived on time. I was literally knocked down a peg by Karen.I felt very punished at that moment and did not feel like I was or ever would be a valued customer. I literally felt as if I was being punished. Congratulations Karen you’ve proved your point, don’t be late for appointments…..fantastic look for Pearl Vision or any company for that matter.
Could not be better! I needed to see eye doctor for new script and glasses, my old place couldn’t see me for 2 months. I made an appointment and asked if they could put me on a cancellation list and could be there any day within the hour, with luck I was called 3 hours later with a polite call from Shantae Civil stating just had cancellation. I got appointment later that day. After seeing Dr. Eaves I requested to be helped by Shantae Civil because of her professionalism on the phone. Shantae was excellent! Went over all options of what I wanted because she listens to you. I picked out a brand Silhouette and have a difficult script. Shantae got it done in less time than she told me (frameless glasses are not easy to make) her measurements for my eyes are the best I’ve had because of stigmatization in each eye. Ray made sure the fit was great upon my picking up new glasses. Great professional people and felt more than comfortable with COVID procedures in place at the facility. Went in for my first ever appointment at this location and I had such a wonderful experience. The doctor was so informative and helpful to all my questions/concerns. The staff was so inviting and made it so easy for me to pick out glasses. Such a home environment. Ill be coming back for sure. Love this place!

Had the most terrific experience. I normally get so nervous going to the doctors, but the staff here were so warm and welcoming. Dr. Eaves is amazing and I felt very at ease being there. The opticians were a great help and I have finally found my new Eye Doctor. Thank you so much Pearle!
Always excellent customer service. My sons have been going to Pearle Vision for years. We are always in and out so quickly. Staff is friendly, efficient and professional. It’s always a pleasure taking my children to their eye appointments here.

I came in last week needing a pair of glasses, was not sure what I was going to look right and I have a hard time picking anything out. The staff there was amazing. They got a tray out for me and helped me make a few selections that would fit my face and I couldnt be happier. Boosted up my confidence. The exam was very thorough and Dr. Eaves had no problem answering any questions I had. Ill be coming back again for sure!
Staff very friendly and helpful, I was helped by this woman Michelle and she was awesome. She showed me all my options and also helped me to find the best eyeglasses for me. Definitely a great experience and I recommend it.
Top notch staff and customer service is all I can say about Pearle Vision in Hanover. Recently picked up my first pair of reading classes and my Limited Edition New England Patriots Oakley sunglasses. Would highly recommend them.
This place is great! Karen worked with me to get an emergency appointment and even took the time to call my insurance company to see about coverage. I would highly recommend them.
Been coming here for some years. Each year the book my next appointment 12 months in advance. They sent me an email over Christmas to confirm my appointment, but the link did not work. All called them to confirm only to be told they had given my slot to someone else.
The doctor is great, but the sales staff is not very helpful
I got an eye exam and glasses and the eye Dr I saw there said I have high pressure in my eyes and I could have Glaucoma. I went to the Eye Surgeon they recommended who said I have glaucoma. I then got a 2nd opinion....I dont have glaucoma. Just high pressure. Also when I called to get my record transferred to my new eye place they asked my why I was switching and tried to charge me $15.00 for the paperwork transfer. Yuh they sent the paperwork in 30 days LIKE THE LAW STATES!! Dont trust this place or the eye surgeons they recommend.
I was super nervous about getting glasses cause I didn’t wanna look stupid a but the Dr and staff made me feel super comfortable I definitely recommend Pearle vision in Hanover a group of amazing people that work there
I have been going to Dr. Eaves & Pearle Vision in Hanover for many years, and I have had nothing but GREAT vision care and personal service! The entire staff has been consistent, and they make me and my family seem so warm and welcome. They always are very professional and accommodate any need I have ever had. They truly go over and above in every way!
I was a 20 year custom of this Pearl Vision location. I purchased new lenses in 2018 (half-rim). Both were defective- fractures in the lens at the framed (top) portion of the lense. One was replaced last fall. I was unable to get the other one taken care of in a timely manner due to a life-threatening illness in my family. They were unwilling to help fix the issue (not a replacement, at cost, etc.), even with a full explanation of the circumstances. Won’t return, and I suggest you avoid.
Dr. Eaves and his assistant are great to deal with! The staff is also pleasant when you are buying new frames. Have been coming here for years and will continue as its such an easy location and great staff.

Eye exam was excellent .. the glasses that I chose were close w $800 .. seriously?? Went 2 King Optical in Braintree .. $400 with btr quality lenses!
Dr. Eaves and the woman who do the pre-screening are great. The service/sales people are just awful. They seem angry at you for wanting to purchase glasses. It seems like such an inconvenience them. I worked in sales in service for quite a long time and this is not how you do it...
Ive never been to an eye dr but I had an emergency and the guy (bob i think? Had a very deep voice) hung up on me. I gave him my insurance # and he said i have to go, thankyou and hung up. Luckily I got an appointment for today at Eye service.
