Had a loose screw holding my frame together. Rep said the hole is stripped and I should return the glasses to where I bought them. I was willing to pay for a repair, but that option was not offered. They advertise repairs so in my opinion, they did not live up to their advertising.
Yesterday Saturday I fell at home and landed on my side of my face where my glasses were broke I didn’t know what to do so I decided to go to the eye boutique on Jefferson Street in Joliet instead of trying to ride around looking for a place to open it was the best experience I ever had young lady named Jennifer took my glasses fixed them as best as she could so I was able to see again because otherwise I couldn’t see without them so when you have a person like that with such care told her what happened and had me sit down for a while what she was fixing them wonderful I will definitely be back
Great staff, service, and product before during and after the sale!Plenty of frames to choose from with assistance from knowledgeable associates. Prescriptions are filled just as doctor ordered in a high quality frame. Over the years I’ve had to return frames for adjustment due to my use and I always left the store totally satisfied at no charge.They are simply the best.
Love this place! The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Wide variety of frames and sunglasses. Reason why I had such a hard time picking out frames, but thanks to Cristina was able to find just the right ones for my face. I love my new glasses! I will be returning again and would highly recommend!
I was referred to Eye Boutique about 4 yrs ago by a friend & I highly recommend them to everyone. Dr. Patel has been my eye doctor since my 1st visit. She’s kind & VERY knowledgeable. She’s great at explaining everything to me & answering all my questions. I like her so much that I’m now bringing my 6yr old to Dr. Patel for exams. The office is always very clean & even during Covid I feel safe there. The office staff is great, too. I can honestly say that I’ve never had a bad experience or met a staff member who wasn’t friendly & helpful. Joanne & the rest of the staff really go above & beyond to make their customers happy. I was quite shocked to read the few negative reviews on here. I highly recommend Eye Boutique & I couldn’t “SEE”👓👁 myself going anywhere else!😂🤓
Went in to see if I could get two pairs of glasses repaired since my little one had gotten a hold of them. Not only were they able to repair both pairs but they were able to do it on the spot. Very polite and helpful. I would highly recommend.

I expected better service since there wasnt a lot of patients. I stood at the door for a while before anyone noticed me. The exam was quick. Then they charged me an extra fee to give me my prescription. Ive never been charged for that anywhere else before and when I tried to ask why the customer service rep was a bit rude. Might look around and inquire elsewhere. Thanks.

I am all about customer service and warm welcomes. Before I came here we used to have a fantastic customer driven eyecare establishment that we miss dearly for 4 years, but after relocating to Illinois we searched for a similar establishment, but mistakenly came to this poorly customer service driven, unwelcoming and ncomfortable place. Whenever I entered in the door NO ONE SPOKE to me. The Dr. has no sense of humor, she has a straight mean face when she calls your name and brings you back. This was my first and last time here. I feel that we were treated poorly because we are BLACK!!
I’ve been a patient at the eye boutique over 10 years Dr Patel will give you the best eye exam possible there different selections of eye wear is awesome and Jennifer, Christina and all the staff are excellent professionals, when it comes to taking care of your eyes this place is top notch!
They don’t know how to properly give a refund I still haven’t received mine it’s been since feb 5th ridiculous and they don’t know how to find the delivery to track your refund.
I honestly had the very best experience. As soon as you walk in you are warmly greeted at the door. From setting up my appointment, going into the office for my appointment and working with Linda to find my perfect pair of glasses was such an easy process. With everything going on with Covid their safety precautions was extremely thorough. I highly highly recommend this place to find your perfect pair of glasses. The service was A+, the selection is huge and the customer service was excellent.
I called my office after my right handle came off my only pair of glasses, they were close until Wednesday, I went to Walmart vision and the two women stated,I needed to leave my glasses,and they would call when they could get to them,I explained this was my only pair and I needed them to drive,they said sorry. I went to eye boutique with my mask on,with a brief explanation, she explained their policy on repairs,and ask me to wait in the car,within a few minutes she brought my glasses to me with handle repaired, she stated no charge. This business has restored my faith in good customers service and good business sense. Satisfied none customer but will be a customer soon. Doris Carson
Its doesnt come easier to find glasses. You can see their selection on line gives you a great idea before you come in and then you have to deal with a great staff. You wont find better service anywhere.
Worst customer service i have received out of every medical office, cheap restaurant, store, etc... i have ever been to. I went here a while ago and there was a complication with ordering my contacts because I had a discount on them. The ladies at the front desk had no idea how to deal with this situation, so instead they verbally complained about how complicated and long it was going to be in front of me and it was loud enough for anyone else to hear. This was embarrassing because everyone in the office now knew about my financial situation. I just stood there in shock... I have worked at many offices and i know that my employer would have yelled at me or fired me if they caught me talking to customers like that. The ladies at the front desk could have just told me it would take a while rather than being obnoxious. After my visit, i realized i was never given my prescription so i couldnt purchase glasses or contacts online. How do you forget something like that????? I went back recently to grab my prescription and realized there was no signature..... wow. just wow. I do not want to go back to this office ever again. Before i forget, i would also like to add that they completely forgot to provide a one week trial for my contacts (this could have been medically dangerous considering how i have never had contacts before).
Linda S. was fantastic she took the time to really help me look for glasses and sunglasses. She also looked at my insurance to discuss discounts and rates. I felt at ease when dealing with her. The rest of the team was friendly as well. I just scheduled appointments for my kids too.
Felt very safe and everything was very organized during this covid shutdown. Linda was great on assisting with helping me find glasses and kept everything clean and got me in and out. Docror gave me good suggestions and was informative about taking care of my eyes.
The Eye Boutique in Joliet has an amazing staff that does a wonderful job. The staff has been mostly the same for several years whichmakes it very comfortable. Gina in particular is very helpful and very nice. She always helps me choose the right glasses that look and fit best. She genuinely cares that you choose the right product.Everyone here is very professional and great to work with, I highly recommend this Eye Boutique. BTW I just met Joanne who came from another location and she is another great addition to this staff.
Great place! Everyone was super friendly and didn’t waste my time on what I needed and what needed to be done. Dr. Bernardi was very efficient in working with me to figure out the prescription I needed. He was friendly and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. Linda S. Was incredibly helpful with getting my paperwork and insurance through to efficiently process my shipments. I got my glasses just in time for college. 10/10 would come again!

After searching multiple stores for an eyeglass repair kit, I decided to call Eye Boutique to see if they sold any. I was told they would attempt to repair my glasses for me at no charge, even when I didnt purchase my glasses through them . I went in and was welcomed with smiles and friendly attitudes. They were able to fix them in just a few minutes and even cleaned the lenses for me. I will definitely be back when its time to get my prescription checked to get new glasses.

I have been a customer of Eye Boutique for at minimum 10 years. The last 2 years I have received nothing but poor service from the support staff. One visit I wasnt even acknowledged for 15 minutes because the only associate in store was on a call with what seemed to be a customer. A simple acknowledgement would suffice. Another associate was present and I asked for assistance and she stated she was really off just there for something else. Then finally another associate came off lunch and ask how I was and I told her not good because I havent even been acknowledged let alone been help. First thing out her mouth was well dont take it out on me, I just came off lunch. WHAT. So no doubt I may have had a little spice on my voice but wouldnt you just apologize and asked how can you assist. And today all I get is what they cant do, even though I made a courtesy call saying I was stuck in traffic and abt 5 min away. Made it in 5 and you give me crap. I stated can you fit me in or not otherwise I can go somewhere else and you still try to explain policy. Just yes or no and if it was no you could have told me that over the phone when I gave you courtesy call. Advise explain the can do s not cant do to your customers. Lost a customer for life and I will make sure to spread the word. To other potential customers.

I went to the JOliet store and the service was good but the glasses were progressive and from the first day i got them i could not see well out of them I went back and every time I went back all they was to make adjustments and finally the recut them because after seeing the doctor again the prescription was wrongly cut so the y recut them and i still could not see far away. So finally i went back for the seventh time and they said they could not help me that any glasses i get now would be out of my pocket. Wow They told me to keep trying to adjust and when I could not adjust they said tough l would have to pay for glasses again. So i guess I paid 338$ to find out i can not were progressive lens’s. Terrible exams, terrible service, horrible, HORRIBLE AFTER CARE, never go here for glasses

Ive been a client for several years, but my last experience was unwelcoming due to a new doctor. She is rude and didnt give me the quality service I was receiving from their previous doctor. This wasnt a pleasant experience for my family and I; I will not be coming back.

The staff was very helpful & friendly. But the Dr... not so much. I have been going here since I was a child and the Dr I had was always so friendly and informative. This new doctor has very stuck up and snobby and had a horrible vibe comming from her. She did not even greet us just stood there glaring at us with her arms crossed. She waa anything but friendly. Very uncomfortable. Never going back again.
