I would not recommend this place. The color on my frames started chipping off within a year and the best they could do is give me 15% off and I have to buy another pair. They do not stand behind their quality.

Went there early January 2021, with my eyes in bad shape. The doctor was very nice and explained what was going on very well. The best part was she was able to get me a same day emergency appointment with a retina specialist.

Rosin rocks! Staff was professional. Scheduling was easy. Selection was not as large as Id hoped but I was able to find a pair of glasses that looked good on me. They came in on time. They fit perfectly and didnt need to be adjusted. Best pair of bifocals in years!!!

They were great! Professional, friendly, and courteous at every step.

The service is great! The optometrist was very helpful along with all the staff. Definitely a quality place to go for eye care.

Used to love Vision Gallery, went there for years with Dr. Dettman in the good old days, but now Rosin took over and the prices are just ridiculous. I just got back from my appointment and they wanted over $1000 for a pair of glasses. You just lost a whole family of lifetime patients by trying to charge over $400 out of pocket in addition to the $600+ you want to charge my insurance for glasses that cost maybe $100 tops. This was on top of the $100 exam too! I took my prescription and will bring it to another place for glasses I can afford. Very sad, because I really like the doctors. The price markup would make a shady car dealership blush.

The eye doctor I saw was very nice and really went the extra step to fine tune my contacts!

Everyone was very attentive and nice when going into office. They gave you the ability to look around and find glasses you like and then helped you make the decision as to what pair looks good on you, and they are honest. Because of my prescription my glasses costs lots but it is worth it because of the great selection.

Physician was great, however I was not aware that I had to pay a fitting fee for contact lens - wish the front office staff made me aware prior to my appointment so I would have came better prepared. According to the individual checking me out I was told I should be aware of what my insurance paid I have been dedicated to one eye physician for 18 years and only have to pay my co-pay. Not sure if I would go back

Dr. Moreno is very thorough and knowledgeable. I have purchased more than a dozen pairs of glasses and contact lenses over the years and have always had accurate prescriptions.

I have been a patient of Dr. Dettman for years, since my daughter was very young. I now bring her here for glasses and contacts too! Kris is so nice, she treats us like family. My daughter looks forward to seeing her. Katelyn is also very nice. She spent a lot of time helping my daughter pick out new frames and was very patient and kind. Great people, great place!

Everyone was really nice here, my appointment was fast no waiting. I would give it a five stars but they dont have a huge selection of glasses I was a little disappointed in the styles that they had.

This office has a very friendly staff. I did not have to wait a long time for my appointment and they have a good variety of glasses to choose from.

The staff at Rosin Eyecare Joliet are amazing. They are courteous, thoughtful, efficient and well put-together. The doctors are very patient, caring and respectful to their clients. I have only had good experiences at this location.

I read another post and I have to say that this scam going on with eye doctors must stop. Giving glasses when not needed to ensure they keep coming back is beyond sickening. I was sad to see that here, but luckily that hasnt happened to us and believe me, if they had said anything about my daughter I would have known they were lying but two years in a row, they havent so I do trust them. I have been through all kinds of that in the last decade, those physicians should be locked up for fraud. So far, so good and these folks are pretty nice. No bad experiences yet! I would recommend.

I have been going to Vision Gallery, now Rosin Eye care for the last 20 yrs. The staff is so helpfull and the manager Kris! knows my whole family by name. They have always been fair priced, have lots of inventory, and so nice! I recommend this place all the time.

Since I posted this rating my child need to see an opthalmologist. I explained that I had forgotten his glasses. Glasses? Yes, glasses, well honey your grandson has 20/20 vision. I dont understand why anyone would put him in glasses. Bifocals, no less!. Sick to my stomach that I made him where glasses that he didnt need.

Great staff and well done examination. Only issue was it took over three weeks to receive my glasses after the initial exam. Just a small inconvenience.

Staff is very friendly! I had to go back due to an issue with my glasses and they were very accommodating and helpful.

Very knowledgeable doctors, friendly staff, need better hours, doctors arent in every day of the week, scheduling is ruff if you work past 6pm during the week. I made my appointment a year in advance for a weekend in order too get my two kids In (Back to back)along with myself.The Doctors make it all worth it!!!

This was my first visit here. The staff was amazing. The problem is $245 for contact lense exam!! I have been wearing them for 30 years and brought my prescription! Cant afford to go back!

I have used Rosin Eyecare for my daughter twice. The staff has been helpful while my daughter picked out her first pair of eyeglasses as well as her second. They were flexible during the waiting and the re-fittings that come with kids glasses. Thanks!

Went for contacts and glasses there about 5 months ago. Contacts turned out ok, but they messed up my glasses. Used contact prescription for them. I went back they put in new lenses, but they were made so bad, would almost fall out when I cleaned them. I only wore them at night, but recently started having an eye problem and had to drive in them, and could not see. My old glasses that are 5 years old I could see in to drive, but not the new ones from rosin vision. Went back and they had to make my prescription stronger. They charged me almost 100 to get new lenses that should have been free because they did not do my eye exam correct in the first place. I have never had so many issues with glasses before its ridiculous. Never going there again for sure!

Avoid this eye dr. My wife accidentally left her glasses there, called back within hours and they said they didnt have them, and that they even checked the trash. Why would they be tossing glasses in the trash?Also when I received the bill I was charged for 2 visits on the same day, so my insurance wouldnt cover the second one. Their billing dept doesnt answer the phone so the issue is still not resolved.

Very poor communication skills I was told my glasses were ready and I came to pick them up and when I got there they told me I had to turn in the frames that I had broken. However, when I came in to see them about my broken frames I left them with the employee. So now they refuse to give me my new pair of glasses because they misplaced my broken pair that I turned in.

Caitlyn helped me during the check in checkout process and she was awesome! Also, Dr. Lingk was awesome and so helpful with all the questions I had about Lasik and the health of my eyes.

My previous eye care provider of 40+ years is retiring. I made a decision to move forward with Rosin Eyecare and I am very pleased with the excellent and professional service provided.

I had an appt about 1 month ago for eye exam and new glasses/contacts. The website and reviews stated this place was great. WRONG! I had the 8am appt - did not see the doctor till 10am. One lady walked out; I shouldve done the same. They have a very poor selection of frames to choose from - no sunglasses! They made me pay for the contact exam, $78, which they did not tell me up front. I just went to another facility to buy new frames/contacts - they stated Rosin billed me wrong and Ive used up all my optical insurance and am not eligible to purchase. WHAT?!?! Since I paid for the exam, and was billed, its like I recieved double the alloted frames within a given time. I called Rosin Joliet and the manager Chris said yea, that was a bad day - sorry - youll have to call corporate to figure this out. Im so angry and upset. Where is the costumer service? DO NOT GO HERE! Im still without glasses that I so desperately need.
