Whimsical snowballs perfectly created by artisans who craft each one with passion, uniqueness, and exactly like the pictures on the wall. This delightful shop specializes in snow cones yet they also sell a small line of fresh, seasonal ice cream. Definitely a great place to go on a hot date in central Florida. The price is fair considering the product is exceptional and the service is quality.

Just found this place the other day. Their ice cream is pretty good, as are their snowcones. What really surprised me were theyre prices.Between my wife, myself, and our three kids, we got 2 large ice creams, a medium ice cream, a regular and kiddie sized snow cone, and it didnt even come up to $20.Their serving sizes were huge. For this much ice cream any other shop would have charged closer to $30 or $40.I highly recommend these guys and will definitely be coming back.

I was surprised that I liked this place. The environment is bright and colorful, and the snoballs are actually good (SO much better than other ice desserts... and they have flavors without dye). The signage is semi-well organized, legible, and placed high enough that people dont block it. But the overall space and ordering area are cramped and have no flow, so had it been busy (or had more than one other person there ordering), deciding what to get and knowing where to stand would have been really stressful.

So many different flavors! Kids loved it. We can’t wait to go back for more flavors!

This place was so amazing! It was our familys first visit after the park and the kids had a blast. I love also that there are color free options ...now, did my children pick any of those? of course not, but they were available! Also they do not use HFCS which adds to the greatness. Happy children. The ice was soft and fluffy and perfectly flavored! With over a 100 flavors to choose from, it might become a date night special!

Lots of snowball flavor options and yummy creative creations and the fact they have soft serve too!!! I got the blue margarita flavor and the shaved ice is just right texture to melt easily.

My first time trying this place out and it was a pleasant experience! The flavor of the month, Coco Loco was delicious!

It was pretty good. The whole place smelled like cleaning spray though which isnt bad. Just means its SUPER clean there. The cashier was helpful. The 2 people making the snow cones on the other hand were too busy having a conversation between themselves so couldnt hear the cashier sometimes. Tasted amazing and a lot more than I thought we would get for a snow cone. 9/10 would definitely be going back again.

I was craving snoballs but am always hesitant to try New Orleans food outside of New Orleans but I’m so glad that I did! I came Monday night and tried the cream of nectar (called Pink Lady here) and was so incredibly happy/excited that I did. The ice is so finely shaved that it’s fluffy instead of crunchy. While it’s not exactly Hansen’s snoballs, it’s a very very close. It was so good I came back again this week (would have come back sooner if I didn’t work so late). Definitely worth my 30 minute drive, an hour round trip. This will definitely be my summer staple! Thank you for giving me a piece of home while I’m so far away!

I love this place so much yall! There is never not a good thing to say about this place. The only few suggestions I have that could be game changers: 1) drive-thru? 2) get rid of ice cream and add toppings bar like fresh fruit or more candies or popping boba 3) Togo cup options for all sizes. Think about it.

One of the best places in town for dessert! Ask to buy a keychain, they do specials only for people who have them. Also, follow them on Facebook and Instagram, they let you know about specials on there too!

Our first time here. Loved it! Thought it would be boring snocones, but they have tons of flavors, and the ones we tried were wonderful! They also have hard serve ice cream, as well as whipped cream and other toppings for the snocones. Excited to go back with the kids during the summer. Unfortunately, its a bit of a small space, and there are only five tables inside. They were all taken when we got there, but we were able to be seated as one family left right about that time. Also, they did have several flavors which were free of dye, such as clear grape and clear bubble gum, for those whose kids cant have dyes.

At the end of the day, a snow cone is a snow cone.You bring the kids because they taste good, have (fun) multi colors, and there is a lively, friendly atmosphere to make it enjoyable.Unfortunately, Pelican Snowcone is missing 1 of the 3 main ingredients to success.There was no greeting as you enter the store - nor energy or excitement for the kids.The young employee looked at us as if “we owed her money.” The only thing she said was, “you order over here.”No smile...nada!

Its just soft shaved ice with a ton of flavors and combinations possible. Very small inside seating was available. All staff were teenage girls so that left customer service out of the equation. I had to ask where to order, ask where to pick up, ask about everything. No hello, not even a thanks or goodbye even though they got a hello, thanks and have a good day from me and my kids. It was obvious they dont care about anything except what time theyre clocking out. Me and both kids all agree they put way too much syrup on each shaved ice.

So glad a Lakeland location opened! My sister and I visited a Pelicans in Louisiana for the first time a few years ago and loved visiting the one in Auburndale but it was a pretty long drive. Always delicious and a great treat for hot Florida days.

When pelicans first opened, I didnt bother going because I thought it was just like any other snoball/snocone place, but I was so wrong. Pelicans has soooo many flavors, a variety of cool toppings, ice cream, and their prices are great! The workers are also very kind, and informative, when it comes to trying out new flavors which is very helpful. Pelicans is hands down my ultimate favorite snoball place to go to in Lakeland.

Usually it is amazing, but this time I was a little sad, they didnt pack enough ice an out way to much syrup. Had to throw them away with only a few bites out.
