If you are looking for eye care, this is the place! I can see really well with some help from Dr. Banford. Truly, I did not even know what it was like to see well before Associates in Family Eyecare!

I have gone to this place for a while. It was never really that great but conveniently located. Dr. Spinozi was a great doctor and so kind he also runs his own clinic out in Windsor. However the front desk is very hit or miss. I have over heard them being disrespectful regarding other clients and talking badly about them. The definitely prioritize gossip. Terri is definitely not the nicest and the office manager doesnt know how to do the entirety of her job. They were recently bought over by corporate which I understand will have its kinks but after they contacted me that it was time to set up my appointment I called and got it set for a month later now the day before my appointment they tell me if I come in I will be charged because its not time foy exam. So I took off of work got things moved around just to be told that they scheduled me incorrectly by the office manager. This was the last straw and I will not be back and I recommend others do the same.

I was able to walk in without an appointment and get an eye test. My left eye has become blurry with my advancing years so I needed to lenses. I can now see much better, especially driving at night.

Have had nothing but great eye care, for many years, with David Banford.Will GREATLY miss his care, when he announces his pending retirement indue time, as only he knows.Will miss his friendship just as much. :)Judy LLoveland

I have been going here for my eye care for nearly 20 years. I keep returning. Their team is caring, friendly, and helpful. They were patient and kind to my 94 year old hard-of-hearing mother as well. Highly recommend.

This was the best exam I have had in years. The service and care I received I could not be more pleased with. Everyone was friendly answered all my questions. Even a couple I didn’t know to ask. I most defiantly will be back. You have to give this place a go well worth it.

Dr. Spinozzi gave me one of the most diligent exams Ive ever taken to tune in my prescription to a tee. In the end I left knowing that my prescription would be absolutely perfect.Lobby staff were extremely pleasant and professional.

The staff is very helpful and willing to help in any way. The doctor took the time she needed to properly diagnose ways to assist my eyes to have the best vision possible. The location is very easy to find and is in a well established strip mall.

Staff is friendly, patient, and caring.. always have current fashion for frames..Dr. Banford has been my eye Dr, since the mid 80s...thats how much I trust him for my eye care.

It is so important to take care of your eyes. Your eyes guide you through all of lifes journeys. Dr. Banford and all of the staff at Associates in Family Eyecare in Loveland are deeply caring individuals who will give everyone that comes to them the best professional eyecare that you can get anywhere in Northern Colorado as they have given me. I totally trust them in helping me care for my eyes. I highly, highly recommend them.

The office made a big deal about their safety protocols for COVID-19, but at least half of the office staff--including my optometrist--were not correctly wearing masks. I should have left... I did not do one of the tests that would have required removing my mask, and the optometrist was super condescending to me and told me his 94-year-old mom was doing fine with COVID, so, essentially, why are you worried little darlin. (Umm because people in my extended family have died? Because others in my immediate family have long-lasting health side effects from getting COVID?)I should have left and regret that I didnt because the appointment took WAAAAAAAAAAAAY longer than it should have. They also dont tell you that one of the tests they run costs $40 out of pocket.I wont be back.

While the people in the office are nice, they indicated they took my insurance before I made the appointment, I gave them my card in the office, they said they took my insurance, six weeks later I get a bill. They DO NOT take my insurance! $187.00 I owe them when I have vision insurance that they said they accepted. I would not recommend going here unless you have no insurance and are planning on paying out of pocket any way. Will NEVER go here again!

Extremely thorough and friendly service!

In the beginning everything was good and since it’s a family eye care I thought it’d be a good place to take my 5 year old son who has trouble with letters and numbers. The eye doctor was rude about my son having problems with his letters and numbers. He wasn’t understanding about that, which made things uncomfortable for me and my son. When it came down to choosing the lenses it was amazing the lady got his glasses done the same day. But as the actual eye doctor it was a horrible experience for my son and for me he didn’t give me much information on if my son needed glasses for reading or if it was to see far away which was something that I’d like to know.

Both my husband and I go there and weve had nothing but fantastic experiences. Our doctor was great and Ive never once had a problem with the front staff. We look forward to being with them for a long time!

The examining doctor & his assistant were both excellent. Dr. Bernhardt took a lot of time & care to examine my vision & got me the proper prescription. However, the fitting/sales technician, (and I use that term lightly), Tisha, seemed more interested in increasing my out of pocket expenses than getting me a pr of glasses. . Her communication skills, specifically listening, are poor. Its rare to find a person in sales thats indifferent to your needs, AND actively employed - Tisha manages to accomplish both of these. Ill update this review asap if the situation improves.

They make you number 1 when you walk in the door.

Every member of the staff was kind, courteous and eager to help. Dr. Banford diagnosed a rare condition in my eyesight and is making me some special glasses which will not only improve my vision, but will also alleviate all of the headaches Ive suffered from. The office itself is lovely, clean, bright and well maintained. I have recommended this office to my family, and will not hesitate to recommend them to my friends, patients and strangers! If I could give 10 stars, I would. A+++

I have been a patient here for two years now and have seen Dr. Bernhardt twice and Dr. Spinozzi once. Both doctors were excellent as is their assistant. All my questions were answered and my prescription was precise. The receptionists have made scheduling very easy, and Pat makes sure you are looking great in whatever frames you decide to choose from. I’ve been very pleased with both pairs of glasses i’ve received, and am excited to receive my prescription sunglasses soon.

My experience was fantastic. Everyone was well trained and friendly. Dr. Bernhardt assisted me with a new type of contact lens and corrected my prescription. I’ve been over prescribed for two years by a provider in another state. It was refreshing to have a doctor who cared and spent time getting me the proper perscriotion and comfortable lenses. It felt like he truly cared. The optician was wonderful as well. She helped my pick out glasses that were flattering, and explained the cost of everything as we went. No one oversold or upcharged me.They utilized my insurance and kept my out of pocket cost at a minimum.

I have always had great luck with the Optometrists and the Gals in the Sales department. It has that local, family-feel. You can truat them to make everything right if something were to happen.

So, my wife has been going back and forth with these people for several weeks. The lady in the frames department is super rude. I dont know why she has a customer service job if she doesnt want to serve costumers. Plus, their pricing is outrageous. After several weeks of my wife having debilitating headaches because of the prescription she got from the young optometrist guy, and after my wife was told rudely on the phone by their help staff that she mustve been taking the eye test wrong we went back to get it checked out. They gave her a new prescription which turned out to be even worse. I thought when you put on corrective lenses theyre supposed to correct your vision, not make it much much worse. Actually, I know that to be fact. They lost two good customers because I wear glasses too and will need a new prescription soon. The thing is, we dont like to complain about stuff, but this place is just ridiculous.

While on vacation over the weekend our daughter forgot her contacts. We had our optometrist fax over her script and they were able to provide us with enough samples for the weekend. Above and beyond my expectations!

I have had a tough transition into progressive lens eye glasses. I have needed them for a years as my close up vision is getting worse and worse. I was the queen of readers. Dr. Zuber and the staff was absolutely amazing in helping me get this right. It was not easy, but they were patient and persistent. Their professionalism and commitment was beyond any expectation I had. I highly recommend the entire office, but especially Dr. Zuber. Thank you!

Extremely rude and disorganized staff. My daughter first went to this office in December and we did like the doctor. Went ahead and ordered glasses that took almost a month to come in. Every time I called to check, I was rudely told it wasn’t their problem, it was the lab, with no offer of compassion or solution to get the glasses in.Decided to give them another chance and scheduled my own appointment. Was told I had a 7:45am Saturday appt and repeatedly told I had to be there at 7:30 to check in and that if I didn’t show it would be a $50 fee. Arrived at 7:30 to find the doors locked. When they finally showed up at 7:43, she never asked my name and assumed I was someone else. Then to find out she doesn’t even have me on the schedule. I guess they are not in need of patients and unfortunately no matter how great the doctor may be if the front desk staff is rude and incompetent you really can’t get past that.

I gave this place one star because you have to give at least one star in order to rate a place. I am not a person that likes to complain and most of the time I dont. But I paid this eye Dr full price as I do not have insurance and I have not received the service I paid for. I went in a month and a half ago to get my eyes checked because the glasses I had for 3 years were no longer helping me as my eyes had gotten worse. Most of the staff was very kind and the Dr. was also very nice. However, the prescription was wrong. I wore the glasses for 2-3 weeks to give my eyes time to adjust before I went back. They checked the glasses and scheduled me another appointment with the dr. I saw him again. And this time he also dilated my eyes. He changed my prescription and a week later when I got the second prescription, it was even worse. The reason this has been so frustrating is because the prescriptions they are giving me are also giving me debilitating headaches. There were a few times while wearing them that I would come home from work and just cry. Because I cant afford to miss work. ( I work at a computer all day). Also, one of the times I had called about the first script being wrong, Terri was very rude and told me that the dr just gives me a script according to what I say I can or cannot see. So basically saying that it was my fault. I answered all of his questions honestly. I dont know what the problem is and Im not even saying that he is a bad eye Dr. But I have been dealing with this for almost 2 months now and at this point I just want to get my money back so I can go to a different eye Dr.

The front staff is rude and doesnt acknowledge you after you check in, they talk gossip in front of patients, and dont realize their frustration when they have been waiting OVER an HOUR! The doctor is extremely slow. My apt took two hours. That is just unacceptable.

I have been going to Associates in Family Eye Care for more than 30 years. Even though we have moved out of the area, I schedule my eye exams and eye care around times we are back in town to visit family and friends. They are all very caring and very professional. Love the entire staff.
