Just moved here a few months ago. Had several recommendations to go here. I was very happy with my appointment. Dr. Hulme is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I enjoyed working with the Optician Jared (I think that was his name). He helped me find my new pair of glasses and I love them!! Cant wait to get them. Will be a return patient!!

Dr.Hulme is down to earth and straight forward his staff are professional and friendly. It was a pleasent experience.

Its been a massive struggle to get a new contact lens prescription and get my new contacts in hand. I went in for a new patient eye exam in March 2020, knowing my current prescription would expire in June. I didnt get my correct lenses until October 2020. I had a handful of brands my insurance would cover, and the first set of trials that were ordered were for a different brand, even after discussing this in depth with the doctor. Once we finally landed on a brand that fit and was covered (only partially, thanks for working with me), it still took months for the right order to arrive for me to pick up. They repeatedly ordered the wrong prescription, the wrong brand, or both. I ended up having to buy lenses in the meantime out of pocket from 1800 Contacts. Last month it was time to order a refill on my lenses (I decided to just go with 1800 Contacts again since it was such a struggle working with the office), but it took 2 weeks to get a copy of my prescription from them (lots of back and forth texts and calls, including their saying theyd have to check with the doctor to see if they could give it to me--um, what?). When they did finally release it to me, they put a two-week expiration date on the prescription to try to force me back in the office for another exam fee later, even though it had been less than 9 months since theyd finally given me my lenses last time around, and general health guidelines say that a contact lens prescription should be good for two years at least. I was also disappointed in the eye exam itself last March. Theres an out-of-pocket charge (which is fine) to get your eyes dilated for a more thorough exam. I always get this when I go to an eye doctor because I have poor eyesight at a young age. But he didnt apply enough drops for it to actually be effective and for him to be able to do a better exam. He let me know this as he was walking me out the door after the exam was over (Its OK, well take a better look next time), and they still charged me for the dilation. Really glad my headache experience with this provider is over. Do not recommend.

Dr. Hulme and his staff are all very professional and efficient and knowledgeable. They are also warm and friendly and make an office visit a pleasure!

Ive been going to Dr. Hulme for 10 or so years. Always friendly, great eye care, and eye glasses. Ive recommended friends, my spouse, and coworkers to him. Never heard of any issues.

Doctor saw me in an emergency situation as something had been in my right eye 👁 for 24 hours causing extreme pain with every blink. Tried all the tricks, pull top lid over bottom, blink-blink-blink, eye drops, eye flush, nothing I did worked. Ultimately he found a foreign object,q-tipped it off my inverted eye lid. Voila’ no more pain!!! Love ❤️ Doctor Hulme❣️

Dr.Humes was awesome at my appointment. He was thorough and took the time to talk about options for glasses, contacts and lasik surgery. All of his staff was helpful and kind. This is the only place Ill go for my eyes!

Wow! This office is great! Best eye doc I’ve seen before. Everyone was so friendly and amazing. They have awesome new technology to do your exam. Dr. Hulme and his assistants take the time to explain exactly what they are loookong at and why it is important. I’ve never left a review on anyone before, but I was so impressed I sat in my car and typed this in. It’s rare and hard to do find such good service. The front desk was so friendly and patient with me (even though I forgot to bring my new patient paperwork and showed up 5 minutes late). The assistant was very thoughtful after my exam and brought me some water because I mentioned that I was probably a bit dehydrated because I’d been so busy all I’d had was my morning coffee. The Doctor took the time to show me the image of my eye and talk to me about what health indicators he can identify such as high blood pressure just by the size of the veins and arteries. Then the cost was very reasonable and fair. I will definitely be back and refer my friends and family. Oh, one more thing they did not ask me to do this, I literally was so impressed I wanted to share this and posted on my own.

Ive been going to Dr. Hulme since I intially needed glasses way back in the mid 90s and the level of professionalism and personal attention he and his staff have given me has never changed. Now that I have a family of my own, we all see Dr. Hulme and crew and have never had anything but a fantastic visit and great follow up. Their lab for frames and adjustments have always been there for us in the rare times weve needed them.

The staff is amazing, they act like family and treated me the same way! They also have awsome new updated machines. Im very happy with my exam, glasses, contact exam and overall experience. Im so glad I switched eye doctors. The assistant also guessed the right contact brand I wear with intake form(that she filled out for me on her computer!!) and my lack of info with me just knowing the color of the box, when I got home they were the exact same but new script!! I used to go to Dr. Hulme 5 years ago and the staff was wonderful. I moved away, and of course wanted to come back but has shocked to see how rude the front desk lady was. A wonderful place for families and especially those with special needs children to be seen by such a caring group of people. We really enjoyed ourselves and the staff was very professional, knowledgeable and you could tell they really cared about you. They saw all three of our children at the same time but unlike some doctors offices I could tell they were taking their time and really spending the time with each child to make sure they got everything right and not just trying to rush through the lady with three kids. My husband and I both felt that extra care was taken with us as well. I have Multiple Sclerosis and often need special attention paid to certain aspects of my vision which the this office was well aware of without my having to say a word. The Hoyt family highly recommends this business.

My family and I have been going to Dr. Hulme for a few years now. His staff is excellent, friendly and efficient. Hes takes a conservative approach to the eye care for my teens, which I prefer. Instead of prescribing glasses with mild changes during their adolescence, he waits to hopefully allow the eyes to strengthen.

Great office. Friendly staff. They have a lot of windows, and there is a small lake outside. Two actually. You will be impressed at the least. Dr. Hulme explains exactly whats going on with your eyes. Its really cool.

The arm on my glasses broke off over the weekend, so lots of tape was needed to keep it somewhat in place. Monday morning I called the office and they said to come right in. I had my glasses fixed and back to seeing normally in no time! I always appreciate the professionalism and care I receive from Dr. Hulme and all the staff.

I was referred to Dr. Hulme by a co-worker. Overall the staff is amazing. They know me by name, are quick to call me back and notify me of changes/issues, and always answer my questions (even the dumb ones). Fitting and adjustments with my glasses are always a breeze and the annual appointment with Dr. Hulme is helpful and informative. He does a great job of dumbing down the lingo and explaining whats going on with my eyes without making me feel like Im lost (I just recently started wearing glasses so I pretty much am most of the time).I would recommend Dr. Hulme and his staff to anyone looking for eye care in the Northern Colorado area. If I were to move I would still try to work with them instead of changing to someone else.

This was my first visit to Roger Hulme’s Office. I was very impressed with Dr. Hulme and his staff. All are exceptionally knowledgeable and incredibly friendly. My visit was VERY comprehensive both on the exam side as well as the eyeglass fitting. I have to say that the in-depth eye exam by Dr. Humle was incredible, such detail. This office has some pretty cool technology too. It makes the visit interesting as well as smooth and painless. I’ve finally found an optometrist and staff I can depend on! I am immensely grateful to Dr. Hulme and his staff for helping me to understand my particular chronic dry-eye condition and treat it properly. After 3 years of using the wrong eye drops prescribed by a previous doctor and suffering nearly constant itching and alternating extreme dryness and random watering, my eyes now actually feel somewhat normal, with dramatically reduced symptoms. I am so happy to have participated in cutting-edge diagnostics and treatment, and I would strongly encourage anyone with chronic dry-eye issues to visit Dr. Hulme.I also had a routine eye exam last fall and ordered glasses at Dr. Hulmes office and have visited him recently for an inflammation issue unrelated to my chronic dry-eye problem. Each time I have been to Dr. Hulmes office, both he and his staff have been extremely kind and helpful. Now I cant imagine ever going to another optometrist.

So rude cuz I had my infant son with me at time of appointment. They demanded I pay the bill the day of appointment, then they billed my insurance and was paid. I never received a reimbursement....double billing it not ok

I have loved having Dr. Hulme as my optomologist. He has been so helpful and knowledgable about explaining why my eyes are changing. Because he has state of the art equipment, he was able to catch an edema in the layers of the retina that had gone undetected before and after cataract surgery. It took a laser procedure to correct from a retina specialist recommended and referred by Dr. Hulmes office.The office staff is extremely helpful and friendly. They recognize your name when you call, and never keep you waiting very long at all. Chuck and Connie really are specialists in making sure your glasses fit well and look good, too. A great eye doctor. They fit me in when I was having a problem with my eye and have always taken care of me and my daughter.

SAVED TIME AND $$$ BY GOING TO DR. HULME INSTEAD OF THE EMERGENCY ROOM!!! If and when I can use his services again, I most certainly will. I highly recommend his office:I dont play around when it comes to problems with my eyes, and when I got an infection with a painful blister, I googled best eye doctors in Loveland and Dr. Hulmes office came up. From the first call to set up the appointment (same day), to my actual visit and even paying for the visit I was very impressed. Every person I interacted with was friendly, forthcoming and very patient. This is Loveland, so great customer service is actually something local folks expect, but Dr. Hulme went the extra mile and gave me a small discount for paying the full bill cash (and the fact that he knew I had no insurance). I got to skip the Emergency Room and what surely would have been a much higher bill, with a longer wait and only a chance at getting good care. Dr. Hulme even wrote prescriptions for antibiotics, but told me I could wait a few days to fill them... because I might not need them at all. Sure enough, I saved even more money because my eye healed up right after I saw him and I did not need the antibiotics after all.Im surprised nobody has rated his office recently, but am more than happy to note that his entire office staff took great care of me from start to finish. He is a credit to the health care system in the USA, and as an RN for many years, I know how hard it is to find quality care at any price. Thank you.
