Worst dealership possible . This steams all the way up from Gerald Kia in Naperville. They give me a loaner car because they hadn’t maintenance’d my car like they were supposed to for 3 days!?? I’m on my way back to get my car (which still isn’t done, going on 4 days now??) and my loaner car tire pops and scartches the rim a little. Apparently to fix that it costs $700+ And isn’t covered by my full tire and wheel replacement coverage. Stealing money from college students during COVID . Forget the customer because apparently GERALD IS ALWAYA RIGHT 😂🤦🏽♂️ F you scammers get a real job
Unfortunately it was a terrible experience. My daughter had an appointment for 10:20 for replacement parts for a vehicle recall. The SUVwas dropped off on time. It was a simple cabin filter replacement. She called at 3:00 for an estimate of completion. she was sent to a voice mail. After another hour she called again and was told the job at not been done and they would not be aware to do it until after the holiday. They wanted to keep the vehicle. Told them she will come pick up her car. When she got there it took them 30 minutes to locate her vehicle. if she had not called them they would have closed without calling her and she would not have had a car for 4 days. Will never go back. This actually was the 3rd bad experience with Gerald Hyundai. The first time they charged her $250.00 to plug in a switch that had come loose.

Also very easy to set up an appointment online. Was in and out with my oil change within an hour. Highly recommend (also look for their service coupons online - will help you save a little 🙂)

And the greatest of thanks to Damian Nunez who listened to what I wanted ( I was SUPER specific and even had a list) and looked hard for weeks trying to find the perfect soul for me. And through several texts and phone calls, he found it today. He even volunteered to drive the car to my house and show me (took all the necessary covid 19 precautions as well). He patiently dealt with my pickiness and very odd teaching schedule to make this happen for me. His customer service skills go above and beyond and hes also a really nice person! Update: my second visit to this service center was a disaster. Even after taking n appointment, I was made to wait for 2 hours and they were allowing other walking customers taking priority. Even after my complaint to the billing desk associate, no one bothered to call me to understand my greivences. Changing my rating from 5 to 1.Great service, friendly customer service executives.

Bought my Hyundai Santa Fe from them in Sept. 2011. Their service dept and employees are wonderful. I would purchase my next vehicle from them because if their awesome customer service and Ive never had a major issue with my Hyundai unlike other cars Ive owned.

Subaru service has the best waiting area. Free coffee, water and snacks. Big screen TV and lots of magazines. Service writers are excellent ! They are helpful, efficient, and communicate the status of your vehicle while you are waiting. I look forward to going there.
The service department are dishonest, incompetent crooks. I brought my Versa there over a year ago because it the transmission was stuck in park. While they were wrenching on the shifter, they must have slipped and broken my overhead sunglasses holder. Also, a basketball sized dent (with no paint damage) magically appeared on the back of the car. The claimed that it wasnt there when I picked the car up (but refused to show me video) and THEN they asked me if it was possible if the tow truck driver put the dent there when he towed the vehicle to Gerald. So what is it? Was the dent there when the car got there or was the car dented somehow on my drive home from the service center. The fact that they wouldnt show me the video and that the service manager was lying and unable to keep his story straight really upset me. Another mechanic has looked at the dent and said it is possible that somebody leaned against it. Also, for an airbag recall, the service technician somehow stripped the covering off my interior door handle (they also denied doing this damage). These guys are incompetent crooks.

My son has a car through here. It has been issue aftef issue since the day he brought it home. He has actually driven a loaner car more days than he has had his own vehicle.....they tried to resolve the problem in the beginning, now its just excuses and the blame game.
