We purchased a Hyundai Palisade from Gino at the North Aurora location, and we are really happy that we went there. Gino was very helpful from the beginning, he welcomed us along with our children! Good service. Good attention to detail. Super on breaking out the billing. Car returned before expected. Recommend running a vacuum in the drivers area of the floor before return.I did look at the used trucks while I was there. Not in the market for a truck at all but I had curiosity. I am well aware that picking are still low due to the back log of cars to be pushed out of the factory. Perhaps when selling a 2011 Suburban, remove the hood and take the rust off and repaint. The seats were ripped as well. The Z71 had paint chips all on the front end. I would be hard pressed to purchase a vehicle that presents as such. The 2020 Palisade Calligraphy looked great though. Love it. Was perfect. I want it. I dont want to part with my money is the only reason I didnt go in the tent.

Drove 70 miles to this dealer because they kept sending me special program emails that they wanted my car and could put me in a newer model for a cost savings of about $250/month. when i got there, i was told i was denied because i hadnt been paying long enough on the car. but why send emails knowing how long i had the car only to waste my time and take a hit to my credit by denying me?Ive had buyers remorse ever since i purchased my car from this place. even when i bought the car, it 4,000 miles on it and they sold it to me as new. i got ripped off because i was in a desperate situation needing a car, during the pandemic, and they took advantage of me. they didnt even fill my tank when i bought the car. i had to buy gas just to make it home.i will NEVER recommend anyone to purchase a car from this location. fortunately, its a great car but this has absolutely nothing to do with this dealership. its the quality of the manufacturer, Hyundai.

Purchased a brand new 2021 Tucson Ultimate yesterday. Frank who was our sales person was very helpful and friendly. My wife and I left another dealership the day before because the salesman at the other location was not that friendly and the dealership was charging $3000 for maintenance plan for something that we couldnt even use because the dealership was so far, so the price was needless to say not good. Frank and the manager provided a great price and throughout the process Frank was very straight forward while providing kind and friendly experience. Even after the purchase of the vehicle he walked us through the vehicle and its features and wanted to see what more he could do for us. Frank was so genuine and his actions that went above and beyond the duty was what sold the car for us. By far one of the best car buying experiences Ive had. The Gerald Dealership also was very clean and all the staff there were friendly and greeted us right away and cant beat the warranty they provide.

I would give this place zero stars. The staff are very pushy and the financial guy is even worse. You give them an inch and they take a mile. They totally take advantage of their clients about many things, especially when they want you to buy extra things for the car. I traded and bought a car, and the financial guy said I would get money back when I do my taxes, which was a lie. He was very pushy and purposely guided me in the wrong direction. I told him that I did not want extra coverage, and he threw in the extra coverage in which he knew that I did not want. This was my first time buying a car. I do not recommend buying a car here. I will definitely go somewhere else instead. It is funny that they were calling and begging me to change the rating to 5 stars after giving them a poor rating on the survey. Sounds like their ratings are fake.

Service is absolutely horrible. I can’t speak to the sales side, but the service side almost seems like they are trying to be terrible at pretty much everything…from the hold times when calling in, to the inaccurate length of service times, to the people who finally answer the phone not knowing anything. I called in to confirm an appointment for a recall that took two months to get…they had no idea what the recall was for, had trouble finding the appointment, and then couldn’t tell me how long it was going to take. When I arrived, they had three technicians standing around talking and no cars in the service bay. If you have the time, make the trip to Pugi in Downers Grove. Much better service department. They actually come across as caring. I have tried Gerald multiple times thinking maybe it was just a bad day for them…so I am just as much to blame. Good luck to you if you decide to go to this shop of incompetency.

My experience with my recent appt. was not pleasant, to say the least!I contacted Gerald Hyundai online on Monday, interacted with an associate via chat who told me he would give my information to the Service Dept. who would then contact me. As of Thursday of that week I had not been contacted. I proceeded to try again online via an email that Gerald sent me indicating I was overdue for maintenance (which I was not). I followed the link in the email and detailed my service request. One item was an engine light (Malfunction Indicator Lamp) which concerns emissions, so I was eager to have the car inspected as soon as possible. I received an email from Gerald the next day indicating I had not provided enough information in order for Gerald to have an idea of which new vehicle I would like to purchase! I wasn’t interested in a new vehicle! I wanted my car serviced!I had to go out of town Friday afternoon, so I made a trip to Gerald the following Monday and scheduled to leave my car there the next morning (Tuesday), which I did. The service was completed late Tuesday afternoon, and I picked up the car after work on Wednesday afternoon. When I arrived home I discovered the mechanic had left two sockets beneath the passenger wiper blade, and there was dirt on the driver’s seat.The whole experience left me feeling as if I was/am a mere cog in a robocall machine to Gerald, rather than a real-live, in-the-flesh customer. The service I received was unprofessional. Is this the kind of service $25,000+ (for a new vehicle) gets a person these days?!

I like this dealer and its customer service(Haley Blumhardt, and Jaybee Bantug). It gets five stars for that. Vehicle service gets two stars. Me and my wife waited almost two and a half hours for a oil change. Thats not acceptable. I had the back up camera changed faster than my oil. I hopethe next time I come in things will be better.

As Hyundai sells these cars as 10 years or 100,00 miles. We as customers believe it! But at the time of signing they offer a additional insurance!!! Which sounds very good! Well not really. I paid 2000$ for the additional coverage because it would only cost me 100$ Deductible if anything was to happen to the vehicle and a tow truck would be available At any time to take to the nearest dealership. Well my car broke down on Saturday something to do with the engine it’s been there all week no rental car has been offered even though a rental car was included in this additional insurance I am eighth in line for a rental car and if I wanted to go Rent-A-Car they will only give me $30 a day for a Hyundai vehicle to be rented at enterprise and 20 for any other vehicle. Not only that but they keep giving me the runaround if insurance covers if insurance covers this and in the contract he tell you that it’s covered bumper to bumper and any major Repairs.. I just recommend you putting those 2000 dollars in the savings and keeping them aside if anything like this was to happen because it is under warranty with 100,000 miles or 10 years whatever comes first really does additional insurance doesn’t benefit anybody at all I paid for it and I’m here a week in having to pay overs and asking for favors because I can’t afford to go rent a car for a week and have to pay $600. Although I love Hyundai I will never be fooled again.

We had nothing but good experience with sales here, service is awful though. They try gouge my wife for $1300 for a windshield. When I told her return the windshield that wasn’t arriving for 10-15 days they hit her with a 20% restock fee. After shopping around for price local shops were less than half price, and every other Hyundai dealer in the area advised us to call insurance before taking any money.

Chris in parts is great! When the service dept hung up on me, put me on hold for 10 mins to get a manager that doesnt work on Saturdays, then told me it would take weeks to get crossbars put on my car (that already took 3 months to come in) Chris stepped in and said he could come out and do it in 10 mins to just come one in. And he was such a pleasure to meet in person. Thanks Chris.
