First thing to say is Yum! Quick service, delicious results, great location, and photogenic food! My wife and I got bubble tea as well on a hot day and it was so so refreshing. Definitely will be back next time we are in the area!!

Eh, I liked the milk teas and recommend them, but I had better rolled ice cream. Sweet Monster is only average to me and I only recommend if your in the area and craving it. There is only one size option for the milk teas.It is located on a busy street, so parallel street parking is available on the block or around the block. When we arrived, (Sunday around 7PM) the line was out the door, but the line did move fast. They have the menu options posted all over the windows outside so that was nice to see what you want while you wait, especially if this is your first time. They have more menus posted at the table before your order. They have a variety of milk teas, rolled ice cream, smoothies, tapioca and snacks available. The customer service experience was just ok. They were busy when we were there, but the ordering process could have been smoother as the cashier couldn’t hear what I was ordering and then I didn’t want a receipt, but I wanted to know what number I was, and the girl didn’t understand me so I ended up just getting a receipt. Not a huge deal, but a little annoying. They were slammed, but they also had the music blasting? Maybe if they could just lower the music than the cashier would have been able to communicate and listen better? They do not offer seating inside so I’m not sure why the music was so loud. Also, If this is your first time and you’re ordering a drink or smoothie they have the straws to the left when you walk in, same thing with spoons for the ice cream. I recommend to grab it before you order. During our visit, no employee told any customer this. Maybe it’s set up when you walk in and should appear as common sense, but as a first time to the shop, we didn’t know and when we got our order, the employee’s didn’t say anything.Payment options were nice, can use cardless or card.

Ugh.... The smoothie I ordered was fine. However, I added in jelly to my mango, passion fruit smoothie. The total added to over $8 and the straw they have is too small for the jelly. It constantly gets stuck. What a poor design! Cant even enjoy the smoothie.Edit: reply : yes, there was only 1 type of straw available. And they were not boba straws

This place is always busy & im very impatient but that only means this place is amazing because the line is out the door. 😮 Anyway I always & only come in for my Taro Milk Tea with Tapioca. (Highly recommend!)Beware you do have to slightly scream your order to the cashier over your mask, because the blenders are quite loud not to mention they are making rolled ice cream.They’re very friendly. No serious complaints other than parking can be difficult.

Order ahead to avoid the wait... if staff is preparing walk-in rolled ice cream, plan on about 10-15 minutes an order. Thank me later. Good things come to those who wait.

Definitely do not recommend this place, horrible customer service!! Order three ice creams and one of the girls took her about twenty minutes to do just one when we were the only customers there ! We asked if she has made the other two and said no! We kindly asked her to just give us back our refund for the two that weren’t made yet. She went to go get another girl from the back, And explain what was going on. She got on the phone with her manager who is also helpless!! Now we are waiting for our refund which was taking forever too!! People came in for their pick up and nothing was made for them either, it was just a mess in there. I ended up walking out with no ice cream and no refund!! No one should be waiting this long for just ice cream or a refund ! This place really receives 0 stars.

The Roll Ice Cream was really good, better than I imagined ! Lots of choices and combinations you can make. I had the Oreo Roll Ice cream, the Mango Green Tea with Passion fruit and almond coconut milk tea. Almond coconut is my new favorite !!

Bad service from the start but I still waited for my smoothie but it was the worst I’ve ever had, and I have a lot of smoothies. I ordered a mango/avocado and I paid $8.25. First, he added half a blender of ice then a small amount of frozen mango concentrate and two slivers of avocado. I guess they really try to get their money’s worth. When he gave it to me and it looked like all mango I asked why so little avocado and he said “that’s the recipe”. I said but there’s barely any avocado in here, he said “I put two pieces”. Then I tasted it and almost spit it out, it tasted like super sweet watered down iced mango. I told him it was bad and that I will do a review, to which he responded “go ahead”, and walked away.

Terrible service the girls who serve are distracted by anything they are not focused on their work after taking my order I waited for more than 30 minutes for only two ice creams and two drinks three people to prepare a single thing to the same guy and then say that It does not have cookies of which it was requested and they have flies in the place and in the end when I delivered the incomplete order and told them their answer was (or I did not prepare it) I do not really recommend it the photos is the product that they gave me a very bad percentage

Rolled ice cream is delicious!! Ordered the King Kong so so good. Fast service, waited less than 10 minutes for our order. Will definitely go back. Their bubble teas looked good will have to try them next.

Hate to say that my most recent experience was disappointing and a bit frustrating. We love getting boba here all the time and always have had a great experience. Decided to order online hoping it’ll be ready when we got there. Waited the 25 minutes it said and was told it would be another 15 because of the high volume of orders they had. Perfectly fine until it was obvious that people who ordered way after us were receiving their order before ours. We weren’t taken seriously until after a couple of times we had to let them know we were waiting over an hour for our order. Really wish things went differently and hopefully issues like ours get resolved soon.

Unfortunately the non dairy mango smoothies and Piña colada smoothie we ordered were not good. The powder or jelly that they use to make these smoothies end up making the drinks taste like cough syrup. None of us were able to finish these smoothies. I hope actual fresh or frozen fruit can be used next time.

Is a 10 minute drive but I will make it for the taro bubble tea. Absolutely delicious! This place has a lot of things I havent tried yet but I plan on making my way around the menu. Definitely try this place out if you like bubble tea.

This quickly became one of my favorite bubble tea to go spots because it’s close by and also because of the variety of tasty and delicious drinks!

Place was busy. One drink from the order was separated from the rest. Understandable being busy. The coconut/chocolate combination was AWESOME!!! Id absolutely order again.

I swear to God this used to be my favorite place for bubble teas, but now…I don’t know what happened if it’s the new staff or what but it’s not good anymore.The magic mocca with milk foam on top used to be 10/10 now it’s just like regular coffee and almost nothing of milk foam on top and the flavor as well, it’s just like concentrated coffee :/ it makes me so so sad.I think it was the last time coming here…

Cute shop and the employees were nice. I ordered a galaxy tea and was disappointed. It was mostly milk with some boba and pea flower powder. If I wanted a glass of milk I could have one at home. I’ll stick to other bubble tea places.

The highschoolers that work there, do not want to be there. They dont even say excuse me while they are cleaning they just push you aside while they are having their 5th meltdown of the day. I do not understand what their problem is. Im going into the location for ice cream, why do they act like Im bothering them if thats what they are getting paid to do. I ordered one cookie monster ice cream and while the little Asian was doing the ice cream preparation the rest where just giggling DUNKING the blenders/dirty dishes in the washer. Rolling their eyes while I watch them make the ice cream which was the whole idea and amusement of the rolled ice cream trend. I did not give an ounce of attitude I just ordered and watched. If they do not like their job they can give it to someone else.

They have delicious rolled ice cream. My kids and I love this place. Their smoothies are also really good too. You can add tapioca, popping boba, or jellies.

The food will take 20+ minutes from when you order it due to the owner purposely understaffing the place. Not worth such a long wait for the quality of tapioca or drinks offered. Employees are completely overworked and visibly taken advantage of. Absolutely disgusting. Take your business elsewhere.

Today it was horrible. The cashier whom I dont know was completely rude to me. I asked her one question and she said with an attitude I needed to wait in line like everyone else. I was only asking about my order that I made online and explained that. She finished with the customer at the register and then spoke to another customer before acknowledging me again regarding my order. She then asked me what were my drinks. I told her 3 coconut teas and then she asked me my name. She asked out loud about the drinks and no one responded so again she did not give me a response and continued on with another customer. I waited patiently and 1 drink was ready but not the other two. When I tried to ask about the other 2 drinks, she told me to wait again and rolled her eyes at me. I told her to stop with her bad attitude and to not roll her eyes at me. Another employee approached the counter and began to tell me to stop talking to her co-worker as if I did anything wrong. The employees here have a horrible attitude and I know this is not their livelong careers but they definitely should not work here or anywhere else if they will have bad temperament towards the customers. I ordered my drinks at 5:17pm online and was there 15 minutes or later than 15 to get my drinks and they were not ready. Horrible service.

To clarify, I love boba- LOVE BOBA. I was excited to try a new boba place in Oak Park given my luck. The matcha milk tea was overly sweet, the strawberry milk tea was too artificial-tasting and sweet as well, meanwhile the milk tea was bland. The tapioca pearls were also way too tough, and didn’t have enough brown sugar syrup. I was quite disappointed especially after seeing so many positive reviews and how nice the atmosphere of the place was.

City mandate has been lifted by the state of Illinois, but I was told I have to have a mask on to be served with no other customers in the store . I have been at this location plenty of times since it opened, even seen people inside without wearing a mask and they were not refused service or told they had to have a mask with the store crowded, or to place their order online . You can not force a mandate with people getting the vaccine . Correct the issues with employees yelling across the room with an attitude and allowing non mask wearing people in a crowded facility but single the one customer out in a empty store . And yes this was when the mandate was in full effect . The cashier told me we can’t control people with huge crowds . Absolute nonsense remember we the customer pay your salary with out an income into the business you won’t have a job ! And asking a person to show proof of vaccine violates hippa standards . Unless you are a physician someone’s vaccine record is non of your business .

A bit of a wait for the beautiful desserts but well worth it. There is free wifi and seating. You can watch them make your icecream or you can catch up with whom ever you came there with.

So disappointing. We tried this place because a friend recommended it. We ordered online and it said it would be ready in 15 minutes. We pull up 17 min later, and it was absolutely ridiculous. They were like an hour behind schedule, refusing to issue refunds, and I didnt even get what I ordered.

Very dissatisfied VERY!!!!! Ive always ordered from here since they opened and not once had they made a huge mistake. Yes Ive bought from here before and never had a complaint. My only mistake was sending my sister for my drinks.I had bought 2 coconut smoothies and 1 tea with extra tapioca and jelly. They charge the extra toppings but dont put them on the drinks. They give me all teas when on the label of the cup says smoothie. They should either have more people working or be more attentive on what they are making. I waste my money on these drinks almost $10 for a drink because of the extra toppings but they are worth it. They should be the way they are suppose to be. I called and spoke with a manager and they said I had to bring them over so they can correct it another trip I didnt need to make. Which I did. I live in Maywood if they would have made it right to begin with I wouldnt need to go back. It wasnt one drink they messed up it was all three, I ordered at 7:56pm. They rain out of tapioca by the time I got there and coconut lychee so they should have been honest and said sorry we are running low to begin with then I wouldnt have just wasted my money on something thats half made and not worth it. Yes they did the best they could to fix it, but seriously smoothie=tea? And then not even the extra toppings asked for? On all three drinks? And my drive back? I would have allowed one mistake if it was one drink. People make mistakes. Just very disappointed and dissatisfied.

Visited this Bubbletea shop tonight. It is closer to me so I though let me try them.. I ordered Taro milk tea and thai iced milk tea plus a ice cream.. The milk tea I would give no stars.. the worst I ever had.. Its like water and powder for 5.50 plus tax.. The ice cream was fine but both milk teas were not worth it.. Very disappointed!!! The total cost was 19.81 for th 3 items. This Monster ROCKS!! My family and I found this lil spot and it was GREAT!! The two young men that took and made our order which we had tea and the rolled ice cream and the one cold drink that had 3 different colors in it and a few more other delights, they were amazing!! About 15 minutes from where we live and the place was nice and clean and right after we got our stuff there was already 4-6 people waiting for theirs! Next time its around 80-90 in the shade and U NEED TO COOL DOWN....GO TO SWEET MONSTER AND ENJOY!!

Almost 30 minutes worth of wait. I watched other orders placed after me get handed out prior to my order which was placed first! I also paid an extra charge for filled cookies for my daughters rolled ice cream. I was so mad for the wait that I didn’t notice until my daughter asked where were the filled cookies at?!!! Not even restaurants where they have to Cook your food take this long to complete an order. You’re making drinks!!!!! Not fried chicken! Wait time is ridiculous!

Ice cream was great. However, the people working there couldnt really figure out an efficient system. We waited 40 min for three sundaes tonight. This process certainly takes longer, I get it. But then have all of your stations staffed on the weekend. Would never go back on a weekend.

The marshmallow toppings were not fresh. It tasted like the off brand type. I would prefer Cold Stone over this. The texture is very icy, not creamy. The wait is long.
