I had the best experience buying my first Subaru at Baxter Subaru Omaha. I admit I had a bit of anxiety walking in to look at the new cars. I assumed I would be walking into a high pressure sales situation and I was so wrong. Stewart was genuinely interested in getting to know me and what I needed/wanted in a new car. My experience was very good. I was met by a friendly salesperson, his name was Ryan. He explained the different models and trim packages. He showed us all the features that were available on the model we preferred. He said we could test drive the vehicle, which we did. We did not buy that night but he called us a couple days later and asked if we would like to drive the vehicle and keep it over night and use it as if it was our car. He even brought the car out to our home. We did drive the vehicle for a day. When we did decided to buy it, we called and he had it ready for us when we arrived. He went over everything again. The paper work went through very fast and we were off. The next day he called to see how we were doing with the vehicle and said any questions just call him or anyone at Baxter and they would help. Hands down the best car buying experience Ive had. Neil W. took great care of us and made sure we had the information we needed without pressuring us into anything. He genuinely cared about getting us in the right vehicle and wasnt just pretending to secure a sale. This is now our third Subaru (21 Ascent Touring) and was by far a breeze. I came in with my own financing and wasnt made to feel guilty by not going through the dealer. They were very upfront and the Sales Manager, Scott, never played any shell games with our trade or the price of the vehicle. Id like to say that all Subaru dealerships are just as great as this one but my experience says that Baxter truly stands out as one of the best. Baxter Subaru had a great selection of year, makes and models to see for yourself and test drive. We traveled 3 hours to arrive at our Omaha destination and spent 7 hours with sales staff Elijah Ivy. He was very patient and educated us on the different styles, and of course fetched vehicles for us to test drive. We felt very comfortable and at home, we’re able to relax and take our time with making decisions, and had space to privately discuss pros and cons of each car. We couldn’t have been more pleased to work with Elijah as he helped us purchase our first Subaru. Other staff made sure we had plenty of refreshments and made sure we were being helped. Kurt in finances completed our sweet deal. It was a great day!

This was my first experience purchasing a new vehicle from a dealership as well as purchasing a Subaru. We had an excellent experience at Baxter Subaru in Omaha. We worked with Neil on the sales floor who was kind, accommodating, and knowledgeable. Everyone we encountered at the dealership was friendly and had our best interest in mind. There were no high pressure sales tactics and it was all very efficient. The dogs who hang out in the dealership are also a nice touch for dog lovers. They truly care about their customers even after they drive off the lot. My son, Milo, became OBSESSED with Subarus when I purchased my Crosstrek in 2019. Since then hes taken the time to learn all of the models, styles, trim packages and options available. He spends hours on the website building Subarus instead of watching videos on YouTube like most 8 year olds. When I asked him what he wanted for his birthday, the only answer he gave me was Subaru models.I reached out to the sales time to see if theyd be willing to give Milo some hot wheels versions of Subarus that we bought, and Brett, the Sales director, said, we got this.He truly went above and beyond and threw Milo and entire birthday party. There were balloons, cake, presents, and an entire staff of people there who treated Milo like royalty. They took him back to the shop to see cars being worked on. They brought him back to the lot to see cars being delivered. They even got one of their employees to find him a BRZ (Which hed never seen in person up until that point) for him to explore.When I say they went above and beyond to make his birthday special, that is an understatement.The coolest part for me, though, was when we went to the new location a month later to get my oil changed. Totally different location, but people there STILL treated him like a celebrity. They knew who he was when he walked in the door. They showed him the new shop, they allowed him to explore the cars on the floor. As a mom, to know that he really has a special place in their hearts makes a big difference. I will buy Subarus from these people FOREVER, and I know Milo will too!

My husband and I had our best car buying experience EVER here. The atmosphere was cool and comfortable and all employees had great vibes. My husband and I never thought we’d ever be loyal to a dealership, but now we don’t see how we couldn’t come back here. Stewart and Justin weren’t only kind and charismatic, but the process itself was so fast and seamless even when we added a few bumps to the timeline of the process. They always worked with us and our best interest and that’s wonderful to find in this field of work. They were kind and accommodating, and felt like friends at the end of the day. We will DEFINITELY return for our next vehicle in the future and will ABSOLUTELY ask for Stewart (salesman) and Justin (financial advisor) again. Ryan is the BEST! From the moment we met him, we could tell he was honest and was going to treat us right. He went above and beyond!We were looking for a car for our daughter. He took the time to listen to our needs and understood that safety was our primary concern, along with our price point. Ryan sent us home with a car that almost met our needs but it wasn’t quite right. He was patient with us while we did our research on that vehicle. When we decided that wasn’t the car for us, he offered to come pick it up from our house instead of us having to take time off of work to bring it to you. I have never heard of that before! We do live pretty close and maybe that’s typical customer service for your team but it made a huge impression on us! Then, within a couple of hours, he dropped off another car for us to try and that was the winner. We bought it that night. What you need to know is that we bought the car on Monday night, which was Ryan’s day off. He was in the office as it was the last business day of the month for you. We wanted to buy the car that night – for Ryan. We wanted to make sure he got one more sale for the month. What we didn’t know is that when we got there, he had just been sent home as it was a quiet night and we failed to let him know we were coming in. That didn’t stop him, he came right back and made sure we were well taken care of by your staff. He stayed with us the entire night. We didn’t get out of there until about 9:00 that night. I should also mention that we really appreciated everyone’s efforts that night. They all made us feel good about our purchase but I do apologize for keeping them there late at night. I hate that we were “that” customer. Due to work, we just couldn’t get there any sooner.Again, Ryan knew what we were looking for and didn’t waste our time with cars that were not a fit for us. But more important than all the steps he took to help us, it was the WAY he helped us. He was ALWAYS so genuine and friendly. To be honest, I can’t stand most car salespeople as they can be cringy and will say anything to make a sale. But that is not Ryan and that is what makes him a great asset for your team. While he worked hard for this sale, he never made us feel cheap by only telling us what we wanted to hear. He was honest, extremely friendly and quite honestly, fun to be around. And when we brought our daughter into the picture, he never treated her as though she didn’t matter. He showed her respect but in a fun way. He made sure to include her in our conversations and to get her opinion as well. She may not be buying her own car in the next couple of years, but he made a new customer out of her as well.I hope this gets my point across in that Ryan is by far our most favorite car salesman we have ever worked with and we wanted to make sure he is recognized for his OUTSTANDING customer service.

After searching across the country for a 2018 accord, I found a perfect option at Baxter Subaru. They were the only dealership that I called out of 12 different ones from New Jersey to Florida and Texas to Phoenix that when I call and asked for the out the door price, they gave it to me without BS. Price + reasonable doc fee. That was priceless. We took care of most paperwork remotely, I hopped a plane and picked it up with no hassles at all. Would definitely recommend!

I brought my 2014 Outback in for an express oil change on a Friday afternoon, 1 hour before close with no appointment(it states no appointment necessary for express service online). I was welcomed by a smiling Service advisor who got my car in quickly and I was back on the road in less than an hour. The Service drive and Service lounge were clean as always and it was nice to have complimentary drinks while waiting in the lounge. I always enjoy getting my Outback serviced at this Baxter Subaru location and look forward to many more oil changes there!

I was introduced to Carry via my online search and she was the most amazing person (not only a salesperson). She worked so hard to get me into a vehicle I could afford and made the deal on her day off. I can’t thank Carry enough for all she did. Tyler in finance was also wonderful. Purchased a vehicle here a month or so ago. The vehicle is fine but the deal wasnt actually very good. They didnt offer much for my vehicle and once the purchase was made they dont seem very eager to stand by their vehicle. Ive been waiting over two weeks just to hear back from them about my warranty and the windshield crack that developed in the two weeks after purchase.edit: I will keep this thread up to date next time I need to bring my vehicle in.

My 2017 Forester XT Touring with the 2.0 turbo engine was experiencing some low-speed hesitation. I contacted the service department and asked about possible remedies, including a firmware update for the computer. Chris Dewald recommended their induction system cleaning, which he said they advise doing every 30,000 miles. I was skeptical, as I have heard of dealerships pouring a can of fuel injector cleaner in the tank and charging $60 for a cleaning. With some misgivings I agreed to have this service performed. It took about 1.5 hours for them to service the vehicle, perform a complimentary inspection and wash it. When I drove the vehicle off the lot I could immediately tell the difference. Throttle response was much smoother and more immediate. The service was not cheap (turbo models always seem to cost more than non-turbo models), but I feel it was worth it in this case as the car is much more drivable. Thank you Chris, and thank you Baxter Subaru.

We purchased a Subaru Crosstrek from Baxter La Vista Subaru; we had a very good experience. Christopher Reyes was our Baxter sales representative and he worked with us to get the Subaru my wife wanted. I have to commend Chris for his enthusiasm and his willingness to go the extra mile to get exactly the car we desired. I have to say I am old enough to remember the times when buying a car was a challenge and you needed to prepare almost for battle to get the car you wanted at the price you wanted and to get a fair value on your trade in. The old adage of take an extra set of clothes when buying a car because chances are you will be leaving naked when leaving the dealer is no longer the experience we have had since we have been purchasing our cars from Baxter. We have purchased our last two cars from Baxter and with sales reps like Christopher Reyes we will continue doing business with them. I recommend Baxter and if you get the chance ask for Chris to help you with your car selection.

Our 2021 Outback was scratched up badly in a grocery parking lot. We called Subaru and talked to Allen Rodriguez. Allen set us up with a loaner and took care of getting the scratches removed.Unfortunately we forgot our grandchildren carseats. Allen was very accommodating getting the car seats sent over to the service center so we could pick them up.The car was fixed and looked great. We truly appreciate Allens patience and great customer service.

I’ve been driving Subarus for over 10 yrs now…will not drive anything else…and will go to Baxter Subaru from now on. Absolutely the best new car driving experience. Elijah Ivy was the best sales professional that I’ve ever had the privilege of dealing with…and I’ve purchased a lot of new vehicles in my time. Although they had to order my car, it arrived at the dealership four days early and Elijah kept me updated along the way. As for the new car, I couldn’t be happier with my new Crosstrek Limited. My wife and I recently purchased a brand new Forester and Baxter Subaru made the experience as wonderful as possible. Our Sales Representative, Morgan Collins, was absolutely amazing. She was very attentive from the moment we met, didnt push anything we werent looking for, and went above and beyond to make sure we got the exact model and color of Forester we had been waiting for. All of the staff, sales, and managers are very welcoming and friendly. But most of all, we always felt like we were a priority and not just another number. I stopped in without an appointment, after I noticed that I was missing part of the front grill cover on my Impreza. I had very unexpectedly driven through some flash flooding, the weekend prior. Im sure, this part of the cover was lost in that scary adventure. Allen was great. He tracked down the part needed, attached it, and arranged for a complete system check to make sure that the water hadnt affected my engine. They even re-attached one side of my license plate that had also come loose. Brian was also efficient, professional, informative and polite while checking me out and walking me to my car. Morgan was SO wonderful and helpful - I had only been at Baxter for about 20-30 minutes before deciding on a car that I now LOVE!! The coffee bar is absolutely delightful and everyone there was so kind. I had an amazing experience at Baxter Subaru. My cousin had purchased a Subaru in February and had suggested Michael LoveJoy when I said I was going to by a Subaru so I asked for him when I got there. He was busy with a customer so while we waited Steve Lammert started the process. I didn’t know that Michael had actually taken another position and because of that was pulled away a few times. Between Mike and Steve I got the Subaru Forester that I wanted. Then it was Steve Sharp, Finance Manager’s turn. He was extremely nice, he explained everything to me in a way I understood. He also had a young man that he was training with him, very nice also. Sorry I can’t remember his name. We got everything completed and because I was have the overcoating done to my new car I was given a loaner to drive. Nice but not as nice as what I was buying. Oh, and I was pleased with what they gave me for my trade in. When my car was ready Michael explained everything to me and away I went. I will have some questions when I go back for my love encore since it’s a lot to remember but it’s nothing major. Oh and they also treated my sister and brother-in-law who came with me very nice also. Thank you all for the great experience.

I always have a great experience at Baxter. This time around there was some extra surprise work that needed to be done on my Subaru, so they gave me a loaner car to take home. When my car was done, they drove my car to my home and took the loaner!! Such amazing service!

All car dealerships are looking to take advantage of you (this one too). I had a bad experience buying a car here. It took all afternoon and evening to finish the purchase.- They dont give much for trade-ins.- Computer system failed to process multiple times.- Didnt give a very competitive interest rate compared to the market currently.- Ran my credit three times for one vehicle purchase.- A crack in the window started to form within the first two weeks of owning the vehicle and they still havent responded to my inquiries about getting it fixed.You should at least know what to expect if you go here to buy a car. Long wait time and not a very good deal relative to the trade-in/market/rates.

This is the second Subaru Forester we have leased from Baxter Subaru. We have received good quality service, knowledgeable sales representatives and good fair deals. My husband Jack and I will continue to come to Baxter Subaru any time we are in the market for a new vehicle either to purchase or lease.

In short, they go completely above and beyond to take care of their customers and are very warm and welcoming.From day 1, our sales person Stewart and the manager Scott made our experience as easy and enjoyable as possible. I decided to buy a new Subaru after my old Prius had its catalytic converter stolen and since I didnt have a functioning car, Stewart and Scott made sure to get me a loaner vehicle until my car arrived. I also really appreciated how easy Stewart made the sale, we hate haggling and he was so straightforward and helpful that the experience was completely painless. Lastly, once we went in to sign all the papers and finalize the deal, the financial representative Justin was a pleasure to work with as well. He helped us with some good deals on warranties and other features and we were able to get some extras all within our monthly budget thanks to his help! Before we drove off, Stewart gave us a tour of the dealership and welcomed us to the Subaru family.All in all, they took a very stressful moment for me after the theft and made it as straightforward and stress-free an experience as possible and Im incredibly grateful to them for that!

I took my Subaru to the Service Shop. They were wonderful, they kept me informed of what was going on with my car all the time. They provided me a ride both ways. Waiting room is so nice and employees are so polite.

I bought my Subaru Crosstrek from Baxter Subaru Omaha and it was a great experience! Stewart Akrin is such a friendly, knowledgeable, professional, trustworthy, and low pressure salesman. He made me feel calm and comfortable about my buying decision. He was very patient by answering all of my questions and sometimes having to show me a couple electronic features more than once. I would absolutely recommend doing business with them! Plus they hold classes to teach you how all the safety features and electronic features work. I am looking forward to taking advantage of that. They were very busy when i came in but i was greeted immediately and knew they were doing their best to get to me as soon as possible! Had a 2011 Outback we got 270k miles and 7 or 8 years out of so it was hard for us not to turn around and go right back into a newer Outback. Worked with Justin Roberts in sales and he made this a seamless transition for us. Supplied a loaner vehicle after we sold our old Outback and while our ‘18 CPO Outback went through processing. Helped us find this ‘18 with all the options we were looking for and wasn’t pushy in doing so. He also took plenty of time accommodating us to new features we didn’t have experience with. This was something he did after the sale and in my eyes was going above and beyond. All in all a great experience!

Wonderful experience yesterday at Baxter Subaru. This was the third Subaru weve bought there over the last 20 years. David was wonderful, listing to what we wanted in a car, helped us select what we wanted, and while we were test driving a car that was similar to what we wanted (not the model we wanted but same car), walked down to the lot personally and found a car more similar to what we was looking for. Long story short, that was the car we ended up buying, it was a great deal on a low millage 2019. We thought we wanted a new one, but this car fit into our budget better which was a happy relief. We then meet with Steve, the financing and warranty person. Normally this is the part I hate about buying a car, pressure to buy and being treated like Im dumb if I dont get extra stuff. Steve was super nice. He walked us through all the options very patiently, helped us decide what did and didnt make sense for our situation, and was just as warm and funny through the whole process. Well have our car in a few days and look forward to driving it for many years.

Very impressed. We were happy to purchase the pre-owned vehicle as is (it needed to be detailed), but they insisted at no extra cost to make sure it was up to their standards of cleanliness before we drove it off the lot. They were very straight forward with price and even after we had expressed interest to purchase, the GM informed us there were a couple hail dings and wanted to ensure we were aware in case that would change our minds. I am impressed with their integrity and willingness to get us in the car we wanted. Ask for Dave and Im sure he will take good care of you.

Im not one to right bad review about customer service, I normally tend to just shrug it off and move one. This time I feel the need to talk about my situation with Baxter Subaru. We purchased a pre-owned vehicle that started having problems within 5 days that we had to take it back for maintenance (the did provide a loaner). It took over 2 weeks to get the car and not a single time did they reach out to give us an update on the care as indicated by the service department.We also started getting multiple call about having problems with paperwork that needed to be corrected and multiple time was told to come back to the dealer to make corrections. I ended up going 3 times. On the 4 time I was asked to come back up and signed some more paperwork. In this occasion I was sick and unable to drive out and asked that if a runner can be provided to bring the paperwork to my address and that it will be signed. I was indicated by email that they will provide one. This never happen. I got a new call telling me that I had to go and singed the title like I was being unresponsible an putting the fault on me. I told them about the last conversation about the runner and that I would not be able to go due to being sick, but off course they did not have record of that conversation. Again, I asked for a runner and was told that she would talk to her supervisor and call me back.I didn’t get a call back until the next day asking me again that to come over and sign the title. Again, putting the blame on me. I finally gave in and told them fine. Ill take my sick self over to your building and get that done as you are not willing to help at all.I will not recommend this location due to poor customer service.
