I had called ahead of time to the new customer service 800 number and was informed that oil changes were being taken on a Friday until 4:30 due to inventory coming up. When I arrived @4:15, the night advisor had informed me that no more cars were being taken until the following week. Im just really disappointed at the lack of communication between the call center and where the oil changes and services take place. I much rather preferred being able to talk to someone in the garage and ask a question instead of getting jerked around with wrong information. I had no issues when I was able to get my oil change the following week, but this was really frustrating to have to take two trips when it could have been better communicated with staff on what was going on.
I had such a great experience! Charles and Bill did such an awesome job at making the process of getting a new car so simple and easy. They stayed in my price range as far as down payment and monthly payments! Seriously saved my life! And I just love the car I got! If you need a new car I HIGHLY recommend going here!

Hi,I normally don’t leave reviews, but this one was a little weird.In May of 2021, my car was hit and run at work. Mind you, I was not in the car, I was inside working. A homeless individual had stolen a truck and was under the influence and had used our parking lot to make a turn around, hitting my car in the process. A police report was filed and since the other party did not have insurance I was responsible for the cost. My insurance company gave me a check for about $1k to cover expenses and recommend I go here since it is near my house. I get to the dealership to repair the car, and they charge me about $400-$500, which no big deal, I had the money from my insurance company to cover. I was not aware I had to disclose I had obtained a check from them. Mind you, this is my first accident (which was not my fault) and I am not familiar with how these things are done. I had to go back a few times to get it completely fixed, and the man even bought me lunch for the inconvenience (which was kind). However, I get a call today (almost 5 months later) which I am told I owe $670 as they were “not aware” my insurance had given me a check. I paid the money as I am not one to like to cause issues. I was not aware as again, I am not doing this kind of thing often if ever thankfully. I would’ve been more than happy to give them that money 5 months ago. To make matters worse, the man said hopefully we never have to be in contact again “unless you get into another accident.” Again, the accident was not my fault whatsoever.Thank you for your time.
I took my car in to get my windshield washer reservoir looked at to get a leak fixed and to replace my battery. My battery was replaced with no issue but they technician didnt check my reservoir, though I was told that he did. Now I have to reschedule another day on my own time for them to actually fix it. Thanks Gregg Young.

Kept me waiting from 845am till around noon when I finally went and found my advisor and asked what was going on. My vehicle hadn’t even been touched, was told it was next and I’d be told what was going on shortly I then waited till about 140pm and had to get my own update again. The only thing that may bring me back is an oil change and that would be for breakfast at the cafe because they have a good customer service unlike the service writers.
I brought my Escalade in for an oil change/tire rotation and planned to wait there at the dealership. My vehicle wasn’t finished yet, but I had to get to a doctors appointment. I stopped one of the gentlemen that were working the service desk (I didn’t catch his name, but he had a shaved head) and told him my situation - he was so nice and super accommodating. Took me to my vehicle to get my computer and got me set up with an Uber so I could get to my appointment. I called when I was ready to come back and they got me set up with another Uber. My vehicle was all ready to go when I got back! I will definitely be back again - great experience and so thankful for the accommodations so that I could get to my other appointment on time!
Bottom line: I come to Gregg Young for convenience (you are close to my office), certainly not for the positive customer experience. The dealership gets the job done, but your approach is very sterile/corporate; certainly not like how car dealerships used to be. I am just another body dropping off a car. Also, most of the customer-facing people in Service obviously have very little, to any, knowledge, about how cars work. Whereas I am on old gear-head. But that is ok. I am not looking for a friend. I just need to the work done and the actual technicians get the work done correctly. At the end of the day that is all I really care about.
Friendly and helpful people. Didnt feel pressured into any additional services and great communication during the service that we had done.

The team did not communicate to me that they would be replacing my custom gas pedal cover in the process of a factory recall on a “sensor” malfunction. When I returned and expressed my surprise at this fact I was greeted by an “Oh well” attitude from the Service Manager (Trent). I was about to walk away when I realized, no I should be compensated and asked if he could replace it. He said that he could not and offered me a free oil change instead. I agreed. But I got to thinking, why did I have to ask to be compensated? The information about my pedal should have been communicated to me in the first place and then this would not be an issue. Second, when I came to him, he should not have dismissed my inquiry and should have offered me compensation without me having to ask. Poor customer service! I had been going to Gregg Young Chevrolet for every service to my vehicle for the previous 2 years. After this encounter (February 2021) I have never and never will return.

The work they do here seems to be good but they’ve gotta do a better job of letting customers know the timeframe and costs associated with repairs. I ended up 20 minutes late for a work appointment because a filter took extra time to come in and be installed. Would have appreciated the associate letting me know about the delay in advance so I could make decisions about my schedule rather than waiting in vain for them to finish up.

I purchased a used car from the Lincoln lot. Everything was fine until we got to finance. I didnt read the fine print and agreed to warranties. The payment was what we discussed but the added 13 months to my loan. I didnt see that before I signed the contract. I was incorrectly focused on the payment. I was told after the fact that I could cancel the contracts and the refund be put toward my loan. I was told it would take 2-4 weeks. I was put off repeatedly. I was told it would take time by the finance manager, after 6 weeks I was directed to the sales manager in Lincoln who never responded to my emails. I then went to customer support and they directed me to the finance department in Omaha. I spoke to somone in Omaha and they told me they were emailing the finance people in Lincoln (where I started). It has now been over 10 weeks and they wont even respond to emails. I feel the need to email as I feel I need to document what has been happening.This TOTALLY ruined my car buying experience. I never should have taken delivery of the car as it had some detailing and repair done after i bought it. I will never go to any Gregg Young dealer to purchase any vehicle and will tell anyone who would listen about my experience.I was contacted by the new manager at this location and he worked quickly to take care of my concerns. I appreciate his willingness to help after being stonewalled. If the new GM were involved I would consider shopping there again.
Amazing dealership amazing sales people all around best experience Ive ever had bought 2 vehicles in 4 hours absolutely no haggling or going back-and-forth they were honest straight to the point and got me to the payments i was comfortable with. I would recommend them to anyone I will not buy another vehicle from any dealership except for Greg young. Don’t ever buy a vehicle from them. I bought a car and a month and half later. The engine went out in the car. Nice and helpful until you drive away. Then it’s a different story!
We were purchasing a brand new $51,000 truck. Everything went great until the finance department. When my husband asked what our payment would be before any warranties were added we were told a completely incorrect amount. We finally agreed to an extended warranty because they had told us it would only add $30 to our monthly payment and they would throw in several extras. We felt great leaving the dealership but for some reason they couldnt print out any of our forms for us when we left. When we got home we calculated ourselves what our payment should have been before warranties and the actual payment was $140 less than what they had told us. So in reality with the extra $30 we agreed to pay for a warranty, we were really paying $170 more per month for 60 months. I contacted them first thing the next morning asking to please email the documents we signed but they were never sent to us. My husband and I were so upset we told them to cancel the entire deal immediately. Bottom line....read every document carefully and know what you are truly paying for!
Bob was fantastic in helping me through every step of the process and finding the truck I wanted. However the finance team was trying really hard to sell me on stuff I 1) didn’t want and 2) couldn’t afford which was disappointing. I told them my price range for monthly payments was up to a certain $ amount. Which was right where this vehicle was per month with my credit score. They then tried to get me to purchase a bunch of things I either wasn’t going to use or that my parents had purchased with their last vehicle that they were never allowed to use. So after 45 minutes of telling them no on items they finally got everything down to my price range. It shouldn’t be that painful. If I want something hand me a brochure and I’ll tell you I want it. But thank you Bob for making the search process so much easier

Great service. I live near Southern Iowa and had called about a specific car before driving 3 hours away. They helped me and made sure i was approved before making the trip. I advised them I lived 60 miles away and needed a loaner. I was told they only give loaners for emergencies. I told them I am single and will have to try and find someone to leave work to drive me to Omaha. They also said they were out of loaners and were selling them due to low inventory. As I was leaving the lot after dropping off my car there were three loaner cars sitting there.My father had to leave work early to drive me 60 miles to get my car. My future repairs will probably be done at a different dealership.
Greg Young staff from Mike in sales to Rodney helping me with paper work and finance made buying my new Chevy so easy. I recommend them highly great at explaining everything and cant forget about J.T. teaching you to use all your features in your new vehicle. Highly recommend them for your next vehicle.
Everyone I have dealt with at Gregg Young has been helpful. Matt Thompson, my salesman, was exceptional. I had a lot of questions since this is my first electric vehicle and there is a lot of technology on this car and it can be a bit overwhelming. Matt has been very helpful even after the sale answering my questions either in person or by text. I have also dealt with people in the service department to have the paint protective fill applied and because now Chevrolet has extended the battery recall to the 2022 Bolt EUV. I have an appointment August 24 to have the battery replaced. I don’t normally recommend businesses unless someone asks, but I would definitely recommend Gregg Young based on my experience so far.
Oil change. Whats the point of being able to make an appointment on the website, get e-mail confirmations of said appointment to then just be called and told its automated, but no they dont take appointments for oil changes. First come, first served is the only way and if there are 50 people in front you, you are going to have to wait..its like making a reservation at a restaurant for a specific time, but then being told they dont take reservations..so dumb.
What a WONDERFUL place filled with amazing people. Best experience purchasing a vehicle EVER in my whole entire life. I will be recommending family, friends, and strangers. If they sold flying saucers I would recommend aliens. What a phenomenal out of this world experience.
Luke was great! Super friendly, answered all our questions. I really appreciated the technology used to expedite signing paperwork; however something still needs to be done to shorten the process more. I was there for over 3 hours and most of it spent waiting for paperwork.
Robbie in the service department was very outgoing and helpful with the service I was having done on our vehicle. He was quick and accommodating and extremely friendly. We didn’t buy our car from Gregg Young but you would never know that. Checkout the service department for any routine maintenance you may need.

I asked for a window stocked to match engine info for mileage to be the same. Its not and very expensive for oil change and cabin filter. Not sure Ill be back.
It takes 2 visits to complete an oil change and tire rotation. Tire sensors are never reset. This happens every visit. Empty bays arriving and service advisers explain it will be 2 hours for a oil change and ask if Ill be leaving the vehicle. Why call it the quick lube lane and then ask if Ill be leaving my vehicle? Another visit I had asked to have a certain brand tire when having all 4 tires replaced and was told by the service advisers the tire is no longer available and was shown a replacement tire which was $100 more in price per tire. I went online and found my current tires were still being produced. Crooks and incompetent. Typical sales BS. Do your own research. I will be going elsewhere for business
My husband and I were recently looking for a truck. Nothing fancy, but we really just needed a reliable truck with a few small updates to it. We had had some issues with other dealerships we were looking at (not listening to what we needed, pushing vehicles on us that were way over our max budget, being unfriendly towards us, etc.), and we were starting to lose hope that we would find the truck we wanted.Enter Gregg Young Chevrolet!My husband spotted a very nice 2011 Dodge Ram on their website and figured he would at least go look at it. The process that we had with Gregg Young was fantastic from start to finish! We worked with Tyler. He was a great guy, and worked really hard to get us the best deal possible and get our payments in the range that we needed. Everyone there was wonderfully friendly and really embodied the spirit of good customer service. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, clean and efficient. Tyler purchased dinner for us and then breakfast the next day when we came back to sign the paperwork at the café located inside the dealership. The food was surprisingly delicious, and the café was very nice and comfortable. It was such a nice way to wait while the paperwork was processed!On top of all that, my husband is in love with the truck that we purchased! It’s runs so smoothly and was exactly what he wanted.Overall, this was hands down the best experience either of us had had while buying a vehicle. We will definitely be stopping here first if we are ever in need of another vehicle!

I had to call four days later for them to tell me that I needed 4 sensors instead of the one we originally talked about and then, I had to call to find out my car was done. Now I dont have valve stems in a place that can be used to fill the tires. I realize that the wheels have two locations, I wasnt informed that the stems would need to be move to the opposite position from when I brought it in. Very poor communication and testing procedures.
Tyler T was amazing! Easy to talk to and he got me into the truck I wanted. The process took a little longer than we thought so they bought me dinner at the corvette cafe(I recommend the club sandwich) it was delicious. Everything at this dealership is fantastic! I highly recommend Tyler to anyone in the market for a new or used vehicle.

This was a pressure free, simple, straightforward experience. The car was brought up from Lincoln to Omaha, and Tyler was great to work with. He was laid back, didnt push us into anything we didnt want, and was very transparent. We came with a pre-approval so the finance piece was much simpler, even though we did end up financing through the dealership. I was turning in a lease and completely unsure of the process. We had some issues with our Traverse, some of which were covered under the engine warranty, some were not. They towed it to their location the same day, called with a report on all of its issues the next morning, ordered the parts, and supplied us with a courtesy car for the whole two weeks it was in the shop. They kept me up to date on where they were with repairs and discussed additional issues and cost with me. Great service and we are glad to have our car back!
Terrible customer service. We purchased a brand new vehicle in March of 2020, and really felt like we were making the right choice as the sales team SEEMED to go above and beyond, and made promises of their loyalty even after the sale to their customers. There is 9k on the vehicle, we were on our way out of town and stranded on the side of the highway with 3 kids and a dog in tow. I called the dealership as the vehicle stalled out, was not drivable, made a terrible grinding noise, and was leaking fluids everywhere (it had only ever been serviced by Greg Young Chevrolet as well). When I explained the issue I was told “go ahead and drive it in....I’m not sure when we can get to it, we’re busy but we will get to it when we can.” I asked about the loaner vehicle program and the tow assistance that was discussed during the sale and they said “we don’t tow, like I said you can drive it in, we also have no loaners available until we get something scheduled for you and that’s at least 2 weeks out.” I again asked about the towing and said I knew for certain we discussed it was covered, how do I contact someone that can help. I was told I’m not sure, I’ll get my manager. The manager told me “wish we could help, we’d really like to, we can’t we’re just too busy and with it being 3:30pm on a Friday we just can’t do much right now- why don’t you call another gm certified dealer?”I called another dealership (I have never purchased a vehicle from or had service completed there). When I explained the situation their first question was “you’re stalled on the side of the highway, are you safe or would you like us to send a courtesy vehicle to get you off the side of the road and somewhere safe?” They explained the GM factory warranty to me, which Greg Young had not. They were able to have GM call me to arrange a tow, and explained to me that they were also very busy but would take a look as soon as possible. They explained a shortage of loaner vehicles at most dealerships at this time but assured me they would find a way to help. My car was towed within 20 minutes, the dealership called me to confirm it arrived and then apologized they didn’t have a vehicle the size of my Suburban to loan but they were able to get their hands on a smaller SUV, which would also be covered under the factory warranty as repairs took place.We purchased an extended package for service through Greg Young and will not under any circumstances return for business. I was completely put off by the service we received as a “loyal customer”. Once the sale is done- they don’t care! A dealership that has never had our business went above and beyond to help us.This dealership can sure sell you a vehicle, but don’t count on them to help you afterwards!

Greg young is a super place to buy a car and stuff the salesman are really great and customer service is super I would give them more stores if I could they work with you and if you have a trouble with a used vehicle they work to fix it and correct every problem right to finance and the service department is a great place I will take my vehicle there all the time and record minute to my friends through the chi health organization
Our experience with Matt T and Drake M was great. We knew the exact car we were interested in but Matt still took the time to get to know our needs to make sure the car we selected met our expectations. And Drake was very patient as we weighed all the financial and warranty options, thoughtfully answering our questions. The most impressive part is Matt and Drake both listened. I recently had to take my beautiful tri-coat red Impala to the body shop for repair. I am huge on communication and appreciate anyone who has the same eye for detail as I do. When I was able to pick up my car, I was beyond thrilled with the result. John Callahan is phenomenal to work with and will do everything he can to ensure you are completely satisfied with the end result. I cannot praise him and his crew enough!

I was very happy with the service I received at Gregg Young. Bob was exceptionally patient, attentive to detail, and a great listener. I came in knowing what I wanted but also having questions and concerns. He remembered them and discussed them with me along with other questions that came up during my four visits before I purchased the car. Drake was also very attentive to every detail, paying attention to what was most important to me. He worked hard to get my paperwork done quickly and efficiently. He was well prepared and knew his job.
Service writer was fantastic. Friendly, knowledgable, tried to upsell other repairs like hes supposed to, but wasnt too pushy about it. 10 out of 10. Mechanic was a swing and a miss. Air pressure in my truck tires was all over the place. 34, 35, 37, and 40psi. Same as when I went in for an oil change. They never checked them.
Very nice when purchasing the vehicle but disappointed the the service since. We purchased a warranty and when looking to get things serviced, have had poor service. I always get transferred to several different people and left to voicemail. Voicemails get returned 50% of the time and several days later. Just disappointed. I wouldn’t purchase from here again.

Had appt to get battery changed out. Took an hour to get in then they tried to do an oil change on vehicle which I never asked for. Busted my drain plug in the process. Then after that charged me for the top of the line ac Delco professional battery but put in ac Dolce gold.Also salesman tried to charge me over $400 for a battery then I showed him the coupon for 199.00 AC Delco professional battery acted like I was was wrong and no way that was correct. They ended up charging me over $300 for the battery. Terrible service and will never go back. They act the customer is ignorant and they can do whatever they want and nobody will know.

I want to sincerely thank Megan and the service team for exceptional customer service. I had a repetitive check engine light on a 2016 diesel Colorado that H&H Chevy, which is much closer to my home, was unable to fix but still charged me for work that didnt fix the issue and then the service rep stopped replying to my complaints that the issue was not fixed. I also want to thank the Management team at Gregg Young that allows its employees the lattitude to offer exceptional customer service. Megan and her team identified the cause as an OEM warrantied part defect in the emissions system and as such did not charge me for the replacement of that part. Gregg Young has won my loyalty and I will make the longer drive for any future needs.
I often hesitate walking into a dealership, even for minor car repairs/routine maintenance. The stereotype of pulling the wool over eyes resonates with me when having to approach vehicle matters. Customer services is horrible. They send you notice for recalls. You set up a time for service and they except you to be out of a car for whole day maybe more. Then you ask for rental for that day and they can’t give you answer on when they will have one horrible service all the way around! Do not recommend this dealer ship to anyone!
I had the worst experience with this dealership. I was told one thing, but once everything was signed, the deal was changed. RJ, the salesman that I dealt with was great and was going on what was told to him by the sales manager. Zach, the sales manager on the other hand is very dishonest and lacking of any type of integrity. In the end, I was given what was promised, thanks to RJ, but the whole experience left a terrible impression and overall view of this dealership. The fact that I had to fight for what was right and made to feel inferior by the sales manager leaves me no choice but to recommend another dealership if you are wanting a vehicle with no hassles or deception.
Vehicle service appointment went very smoothly. Check in was swift and professional. Courtesy transportation home was provided free of charge. My truck was serviced and ready for pickup within 4 hours, with all requested service items completed to my satisfaction. Additionally, a safety recall was brought to my attention with mitigation scheduled for a future date. Thanks to all for the great effort and service!

I came in for a quick lane oil change. I dont typically like to wait for my oil changes, because there are so many other things I can do with my time. Everything was extremely quick an efficient so I would do the quick lane again if needed.
Blake was an amazing help to me. He was there from start to finish and wasnt your typical car salesman. He was a human with human compassion towards recent events in my life. He got me approved for a vehicle and I purchased the car because of Blake. Even after the sale was final, Blake continued to show his compassion when most salesmen wouldve sent me on my way following the sale. He took time to speak to me about my situation and offered kind words. He has followed up with me to make sure that everything is running smooth and that I am satisfied. Blake will always be my go to guy when shopping for vehicles and I will always we refer him to my loved ones! Blake is down to earth with a heart of gold!

I showed up on a Saturday right after they opened for a oil change, tire rotation, & a wash. Two hours later they said my truck was ready but with only a oil change was done. The guy who washes the cars was not there and they said I had wheel locks but I had no key for them to remove them. I did not know that. I did not get a wheel lock key when I purchased the truck from Sid Dillon in Lincoln. Lucky I did not get a flat because I had no key for the wheel locks.When I got home I looked at the paperwork and it said 6 quarts of oil put in and I got a little worried because my truck holds just under 9 quarts. I popped the hood and checked my oil and it looks okay. Then I seen all the oil drippings all over the top of the motor that they didn’t wipe off . I should have taken pictures but I didn’t.Sid Dillon should also take pictures of the before and after work that is done by their mechanics the same way that they take pictures of your vehicle.

I’m being generous when giving this two stars because one person made up for the experience.I took my car in for scheduled service, that was scheduled for Thursday, August 19th. They didn’t have me down on the schedule and when they looked me up in the system I was scheduled for “Friday, August 19th” a date that does not exist. So that was a hiccup, no big deal didn’t bother me.I got my loaner car I was promised and they told me it would be finished by the evening and I would receive a text or phone call that evening saying my service was finished. They said if anything it would be ready by morning.Evening came and went and no text or phone call saying it was ready. They closed and I knew I’d have to wait until morning. 8 am rolls around when they open, no text or phone call to let me know it’s ready to go. 9 am rolls around so I call them. They send me to voicemail. I call back and I politely tell them I’m beginning to get annoyed at this back and forth customer service. One kind woman asked for my phone number to call me back so she could give me an update herself once she knew herself.I got a call back and she said my car was ready to be picked up any time it was convenient for me. I hung up the phone and went and picked up my car.I talked with a very nice gentleman named Mark Stark who was taking care of my car, and he asked me if I’d received a text or phone call the previous night that my car was ready, I told him no I hadn’t heard anything and every time I tried to get an update I was immediately transferred to voicemail. He apologized and it helped the situation. He even said the car was finished that evening and I could have come picked it up.There is lack of communication and this was a very annoying experience for me. I understand the service was an all day thing, I was told from the beginning, but receiving no updates and constantly being forwarded to voicemail made me feel like they just didn’t want to deal with it since it was 8 pm and they were closing in an hour. Do better Gregg Young.
Brad and Chelsea have always been extremely nice and very helpful. They go above and beyond with there knowledge on what my 2002 Chevy Monte Carlo SS needs and doesnt need. They know it is a VERY well taken care of vehicle and they treat her right :)
I went in for an oil change and asked to get my tire sensors reset to the correct tires. After an hour and s as half, my oil was changed and the did nothing to the tire sensors. Then, when I asked about getting an appointment set up for service on my vehicle, I was told it would be easier to do so online rather than right there, in person.
I purchased a new vehical and had one repaired. The sales people are awesome, I couldnt ask for a better experience. But the service side has a lot of problems. Did work I said not to do and the work they were suppose to do kept getting different prices for the job completed. Even after I picked up the car and paid. They called and told me I owed more. Then call and told me I Better!! Make it up there that day and pay the difference.I get 2 free oil changes for the new car I purchased but I think I will pass and go elsewhere because I dont know what that will cost. I just wish I would have waited 1 more week to buy the car. I know this sounds bad, and it should for the service side. But I will give a ton of credit to the sales side. They were great to work with. But like they say...one bad apple can ruin the whole basket.
I had the best salesman and finance guy available at Gregg Young Chevrolet. Jake, my salesman, was polite yet patient. He was very knowledgeable of the vehicle. My finance guy, Drake, made us feel like one of the family. He was also extremely polite and assisted us in deciding our extra coverages. If you want the “winning team” you have to work with “The Jake/Drake Team”!
