We purchased a vehicle last Fall. Within a week we noticed the transmission was slipping on occasion. On the 8th day we called to see if they would be willing to help since we were told and the listing even said mechanically sound vehicle. We found out from a shop that we were looking at a 2-3,000 dollar fix for the transmission. This dealership said, had you called before a week we may of been able to help, but all we can do is maybe 200. We are very disappointed with this mechanically sound purchase and the dealership that was unwilling to fix the problem.

A great place to buy a car. There was a issue with the signals not working on a vehicle I wanted to buy. and they stayed nearly 2 hours after close to try to resolve the issue. They couldnt figure out what was wrong but did give me and amazing deal on the price and even bought the hood struts it needed. I purchased a 1998 explorer xlt.

Worst purchase I have ever made, not even a week off the lot the car isn’t starting had to replace alternator battery and still does not work right. Owner claimed he would get back to me after leaving over seas and it now has been 2 months and nothing.they claimed the vehicle has no issues. Also claimed it had new brakes and tires witch one of the tires have just blown up today. If you are going to be purchasing a vehicle her make sure to get it checked by a mechanic. If I could place 0 stars I would.Update: they finally got in contact with me after my first review and sent me what was promised. Even though It took a while and still not happy with the vehicle they were very nice and helpful and kept their word.

Unable to reach anyone when calling after making a purchase. Car had some issues a few days after having the car (they claimed it was in excellent condition and said it was checked by a mechanic already, shouldn’t have listened) They offered to pay to fix some of the issues but once asked for the check they conveniently have stopped responding to all messages and are “out of town for business” per the ONE text received from them after weeks of trying to get ahold of. Seemed like great people and saw they had some good reviews but after 3 days of business I saw their true colors. Only wanted my money. Out of the many MANY dealerships in this area do yourselves a favor and take your business and hard earned money somewhere else!EDIT: after leaving this review, we were reached out to and some amends were made. The made good in paying for some of the issues that arrived. Probably won’t buy another car from this dealership but appreciative they tried to make the wrongs, right.

Do not buy from this dealership. ALWAYS bring the car you’re looking at in to get it inspected professionally before buying. My fiancé and I were too trusting and bought a car at NY Auto Sales without doing so and got screwed over. Tariq gave us his word that if anything happened within 2 weeks that he would work with us. 9 days after purchase the car was brought into a shop to get it checked over due to an odd noise. When the vehicle inspector put our car through a code reader, over 20+ codes appeared, those including engine misfires in every cylinder, hydraulic engine mount failure, rear upper strut mount that needs to be replaced, air bag codes, and multiple others. When we contacted Tariq and asked for him to work with us since it was still within that 2 week time frame, he denied.We completely understand that older vehicles are not perfect and that dealerships sell “as is”. The issue is that he isn’t educated about the cars he is selling and made it sound like this vehicle was in great shape when in reality it’s below fair condition and now we will be spending thousands to fix what is needing to be fixed. He buys his vehicles off online auctions and I doubt he sends them through a mechanic to even gain knowledge of what is wrong with the car before selling. And if he does send them to a mechanic, he knows what is wrong with the car and is not honest with his customers. As for the individuals who apparently “fix” the cars he gets on his lot, they used spray paint instead of real paint on the gas cover and we were told the struts were replaced but after this that’s highly doubtful.
