I purchased a vintage 911 from this dealership. It was wildly misrepresented. Claimed to be a 100% original metal car that he recently had an engine rebuild, this car actually had doors and fenders replaced. The engine recently had a fire and was NOT rebuilt. The fire caused paint damage that wasn’t visible in the pics provided. I dealt with the owner directly on this purchase. Take your business elsewhere.

My experience purchasing a Mercedes E350 4Matic from Classic Auto Sales was flawless. Terry, the owner, was very responsive to e-mails, phone calls, and in-person appointments. The selection of vintage, sport, and collectable autos in the showroom was jaw-dropping.The purchasing process was simple and efficient. There was zero pressure to purchase, just help if you were interested in learning more about the vehicle.Terry helped me personally, and it was the best car buying experience I have ever had.A few forms, no pressure, no extended warranties or any of that kind of garbage. A few signatures, a check, and a handshake. Done. Thanks for a rock-solid auto buying experience Classic Auto Sales!

I found Classic Auto right away when I moved to Omaha and began searching again for a 4th generation Toyota 4Runner. I owned one before and it was the best car Ive had. After looking all around Omaha for comparison, I quickly realized there was none. Terrys cars are simply superior. The history is well documented, and his collection is quite impressive. He goes to great lengths to find the best from all over the country and to get it for his customers. I looked at 4 over the course of a few months (Terry also loves and buys a lot of 4Runners) before I found the one I now own. Other reviews are accurate. Terry is not pushy and is very reasonable. Hes already proved helpful in the few days since purchasing with questions Ive had.If you want the cheapest car you can find, dont go here. You get what you pay for! Happy with my purchase and experience with Terry and Classic Auto Sales.

Ive had numerous experiences with car dealerships over the past 50 years of driving and each time I was disappointed, until I found Terry at Classic Auto Sales. This is the first time that I had the pleasure of dealing with a person that wasnt a Car Salesman. Terry is honest and wants to make sure you find the car of your dreams and to make sure you are happy. Ive been looking for a corvette for many years and finally found one that fit my specifications (low miles, one owner, and correct color). Terry had the perfect car. When I contacted him, he provided me with answers to all my questions and additional pictures as requested. I live in Washington state, so I flew out to see the car. I met Terry at the dealership, he showed me the car, left me alone to look over the car in detail, and went back to his office, absolutely no pressure. Once I was done we finished the paperwork and I flew home. He asked a fare price for the car and included shipping. The car arrived about a week later, in an enclosed trailer, in perfect condition. All I can say is that if you are looking for a car, first check out Classic Auto Sales website, he has a great selection, and should have something that will fit your desires. If not, call Terry, he should be able to find what your looking for. I promise you, you wont be disappointed. Thank you Terry, if I ever need another care, you will be the first person I call.

I had not purchased a used car in decades, much less one from out of state, seen only in online photos. The trust I placed in Terry to investigate a 1966 classic British sports car at a St. Louis area dealer was well placed. He negotiated a fair price, arranged for transport, and accomplished the needed inspection to get the car titled in Nebraska. I did not have the confidence to do that on my own. My visits to Classic Auto Sales were also rewarded by seeing a great inventory of classic cars. I would not hesitate to do business with them again.

I inquired and eventually purchased a 2002 911 C4S from Classic Auto Sales. When I called the very first thing I asked about was whether the IMS bearing had been done and whether there was documentation. Terrys response was that it had been done and there was a 2 thick binder of all the service records. The ad on their website (which Ive attached a screenshot of) said the IMS was done. I even sent an email specifically asking if the IMS had been done when I initially inquired about the car. As fortune would have it, the IMS bearing was not done nor was there documentation of it being done... false advertising I suppose. I didnt haggle with them on price as I thought it was a very fair given the car, especially if it had the IMS bearing service done. When I took delivery of the car it had a screw in one of the tires. Of course when I asked Classic Auto Sales about this they said the transport company (who they scheduled) did it. When I asked the transport company they said it already came like that so I was out of luck and the first thing I had to do with my first 911 was go get a tire hole patched. What joy... Ive attached a picture of the screw in the tire too.I also asked on multiple occasions if it came with the owners manuals. Again, I was told it did. The car arrived with no owners manuals and when I e-mail about them I get no response. My most recent email asking about the owners manuals was 5 days ago.The only reason Im not giving them 1 star is because the car cosmetically is how they described it to be. Very clean, cold AC, incredibly clean interior as well as functioning parts.I deeply regret not getting a PPI on this one. lesson learned. Its off to the shop today to get some work done to it that I was told had been done previously.Once again with Terrys response we see he is avoiding the issues that I am bringing up. My concerns are no owners manuals as well as no IMS bearing being done. Not once has he directly responded to those concerns of mine and is instead dancing around the issue.

Easiest car-buying experience weve ever had (that says a lot because my wife absolutely hates car shopping). Terry was extremely helpful on Saturday, when we first showed up, and we had our car on Wednesday (delay was with our bank). He was patient with our two children and moved his garage around to allow us test drives on 3 different cars. Despite the wide range of vehicles in the inventory, he showed a great deal of knowledge about the models we were considering. The price was great on our 4Runner (researched a lot...this was a really good deal for a great car that included a lot of after market bells and whistles). We spent less than 10 minutes in his office completing paperwork and we were on our way. Highly recommend this dealer, especially if you are looking for rare or classic vehicles...their inventory was impressive! We werent in the market for that type of car, but it was easy to see those cars were well taken care of in the garage. No haggling, and no pressure...overall outstanding experience!

I was walking through Sams Club in Cocoa, Fl and I saw this car on the cover of an Auto-Trader type magazine. The ad copy said 1953 Pontiac Woody with 17,000 original miles. I could not believe that anyone in the car business would make such an outlandish claim! Called Terry and he assured me it was an original car with accurate mileage. I had to fly to Omaha to prove to myself that a car of this age could not have 17,000 original miles! After a test drive, I was convinced that this was the car for me. Terry and Bob were great and we made a deal to sell the car to a Surfing Santa in Cocoa Beach, Fl. I couldnt be happier with our new old car.

I am partial to 2003 era Chevy Suburbans. I am continuously looking for mint Suburbans that have little to no rust and then I refurbish them front to back with new OEM replacement parts and plan to drive them until they can not be repaired. I live in Northwest Pennsylvania, notorious for salt and rust. I have two 2003s I drive in the winter that I Krown for rust every year. I needed another Suburban for summer only driving for my wife. I spotted this 04 Suburban LS at Classic Auto Sales that was a perfect fit for my stable. One that needed very little new work according to Terry.Having shopped for and lost other Suburbans, I called Terry at Classic Auto and talked to him about the 04. Unfortunately, another party was looking at the vehicle. My first indication that Terry was a reputable dealer came when he said that he would not accept an offer from me until the other party made a decision. He said he would not undercut the other party, I would have to wait and see.The party in question decided against the purchase. Terry called me and I committed to buying the vehicle. The second thing that gave me an indication he was an honest dealer was that he was willing to give me the phone number of the previous owner so I could confirm any dealer related claims he was asserting. I do have the previous owners number. At the time of purchase I was visiting relatives in Wisconsin. I preferred to drive to Omaha to inspect the vehicle before I committed the money, which meant that Terry would have to meet me at his dealership after hours on a Saturday night. He was more than willing to oblige.Upon inspection of both meticulous service records kept by the owner since original purchase and the physical condition of the vehicle, all claims made by the dealer matched the service records and the condition of the vehicle.I have never had a used car dealer go beyond any as is description of the vehicle. When I arrived he had put in a new battery and filled the gas tank up. Not usual, to say the least.Terry was friendly, facilitating and exceeded my expectations. My brother drove the car back to Wisconsin. Terry called the next day to confirm we had arrived safely. I am shipping the vehicle the rest of the way to Pennsylvania.I dont know where the any negative reviews may have originated. I specifically asked Terry about the discrepancy between a couple of low ratings and my experience. He did NOT shy away from what his feelings were versus the ratings. He provided very satisfactory, rational reasons as to why some of these ratings were misguided.I left his showroom very satisfied and I would now consider buying a car, sight unseen, from him. He is one of the few and rare dealers that prepares a car for sale by going the extra mile both mechanically and sales process wise.Rich Griffin

11-17-2015 UPDATE: The $823.00 has been reimbursed. No further posts will take place.Terry called me Monday, October 12th, at 4pm to tell me that repairs had been done on my vehicle and the amount of the said repairs. He also said that he had a buyer and unfortunately had given the buyer the price of $19,900 before the $3200 in repairs had been done. Once I questioned the extra work that I had not approved he started pressuring me to take the deal for numerous reasons. I asked for a day to make my decision and he informed me the buyer was going to be gone for 5 weeks and that I just needed to take the $19,000. I said I would call him in the morning. When I arrived at Classic on the 13th the car was sitting there with an in transit on it expiring 11-12-15 that would have meant it was sold the day before. I told him I wanted to counter at $22,000 since he had put over $3000 in the car, and he got very upset and told me that he could get the buyer up to $20,000. I disagreed with the charges, as I knew they were very high. I went over the mechanics shop to ask about the approval of the repairs and the cost. The mechanic, who in words that I have recorded, admitted that it was obvious that Terry didnt call me since he gave the okay right away. He said he thought that Classic owned it since they had called him back to give the okay the other two times. On Tuesday afternoon the 13th I called Terry to give him two choices 1. Put the car back out there for $22,000 or 2. Reimburse me the $823 for parts that I did not approve and I would agree to sell the car for $20,000. He said option 2 because he had already sold it for $20,000. Not the 19 he told me that morning but 20. When I arrived at Classic Wednesday the car was already gone and I was told the deal was done so they delivered the car. All the paperwork was dated the 12th. Bob said that he used that date because it was Monday. When he told, me the amount of the check I mentioned that it was short and he took my paper to compare the numbers. As I continued to question the amount Bob became very defensive, and like Terry, very aggressive with yelling and telling me I was lucky they sold the car, I didnt know what I was doing and other bullying comments. He refused to show me the bill of sale for the buyer so I dont how much they really sold it for. A blank bill of sale was put in front of me and I was asked to sign. I requested the price to be put in and he did that. Paperwork was put in front of me and I signed the title and realized the difference was the $823 that Terry had told me I wouldnt be paying, I had not taken the check or signed the bill of sale. He kept bullying me saying that Terry never told him anything about it, that was the amount I was getting, I didnt know what I was doing etc. As I picked my title up he grabbed it out of my hand and said, too late the title has already been signed over. I was at this point very upset and rather in shock at the physical altercation that had just took place and I got up and left. I did not sign the bill of sale so I can only imagine that my signature was forged.
