Bit of a disclosure, before I begin my review, but I purchase my car here about a year ago. I mainly wanted to write about any unexpected issues after purchase. Now to the review. The experience was overall really good. I had my eye on a used Subaru STI and had seen it listed on the website. The pictures on the site were very comprehensive and it intrigued me enough to phone up Le Auto Of Omaha and take a look. Both employees were very helpful and let me look at the car in person to gage a little further whether or not I wanted to go through with it. They offered to cover the cost of a carfax which was really helpful and even let me get the vehicle checked over by a second set of eyes. Every step of the way, I felt the communication was good and they were honest. They mentioned the car was in good condition, which my second set of eyes confirmed, and only mentioned that it would need some general maintenance which was expected. I went through by far one of the easiest car buying experiences Ive ever had and have performed the general maintenance and the car still runs perfectly today.
We purchased a car and had a positive buying experience. However as soon as we left we began to have issues. It turned out that a bad and wrong size battery was inside of it. After replacing that our check engine light went on. We found some oil on our garage floor and had it checked to find out the head gasket was leaking oil which was causing issues with the O2 sensors and would cause more problems in the future with the catalytic converters and other engine parts. When we called in we were told it was expected to start having issues. They did replace half the cost of the battery but dismissed our concerns about the gasket replacement. We were told if the car was drivable it was fine. While we understand some issues with any used car, spending thousands of dollars ten days after a purchase is disappointing. Would not recommend this dealership.
Ive purchased 3 vehicles from Le Autos. A white 05 Honda Pilot (upgraded after 2 years to MDX), A black 05 Honda CRV ( still driving about 3 years now), and a White 08 Acura MDX (still driving and our favorite vehicle). He does a great job at sourcing through the bad vehicles to only select and sell good cars. Cash is king when dealing with Le.Also, I recommend Omaha Japanese Auto Repair if you buy a car from Le. The specialize in Hondas and Acuras and have the most extensive customer service when it comes to educating you about what is wrong, may go wrong, and work very quickly.
Highly recommend car shopping at Le Auto of Omaha. No pressure salesmen. Great slection. Just bought my Toyota Sienna from them and love it. They went out of their way to make sure the car was in great running condition. Would purchase another vehicle from them again and recommend them to friends.
Had a friendly car buying experience here. I went with my dad to look for a new Honda CR-V which they had at least 3 to choose from at the time. The one that he liked most had a broken tail light so the guy put a new one in it before we bought the vehicle. Very friendly people. I would recommend doing business with these guys.
Very honest and friendly. Thank you.
Very simple and friendly !
Good selection salesman was real pushy though
