I never walk out of a place I was greeted with “put a mask on” which I did and then was ignored for 10 minutes even though I had an appointment at 12:40. If you’re gonna ignore me I am not going to use your services.

My experience here was amazing especially considering we are currently in a pandemic! They had seating areas that provided space and had a system set up for cleaning the glasses. Jonathan was the service specialist I dealt with! He was patient, kind and knowledgeable! The place was pretty busy but he never stopped taking his time to explain things and made sure I was completely satisfied! The optometrist was also very kind! He has a wonderful personality and made me laugh. I would highly recommend this location!!! Thank you again!

I came here with my foster child specifically because the visionworks site says you take Medicaid, your employee seemed confused and unaware how to handle this and told me Medicaid is not accepted. Thanks for the huge waste of time!

My insurance changed so had to give up my well liked eyecare office. I have never been so frustrated with a business. The eye appointments always start late. There is not enough staff to provide adequate customer service. The trial contact pairs were ordered with the wrong prescription. You can never get anybody on the phone and the website they talk about the half hour on hold has nothing helpful. I asked for contacts to be shipped to me so I didnt have to go in and surprise they got sent to the store. I am mainly angry at the owner of this store. This is a reflection of how much you think of your customers.

After being treated poorly at the Westroad location, they Refused to sell contacts without a prescription on me, even tho I got my eyes tested there. Also no offer to set up an appointment, and as usual poor customer service

Great Doctor, terrible service... I ordered my contacts on the 12th of last month and today is the 7th. Still no contacts. Their phone system is set up to make it almost impossible to talk to a live person. Contacts are overpriced compared to other options. I have great insurance that covers the exam and six months worth of contacts and I still ended up paying $68.Today is the 10th. When using the online system it says it cant find my order. I have been on hold now for 15 mins and dont expect anyone to pic up... I dont like being ignored, but expect it from this company.

Our visit was just ok, the guy that checked us in wasn’t very happy to help. Scolded us on trying on glasses to make sure we put them down and not back on the shelf.. but he was moving ones back that were misplaced without sanitizing them. Dr Luby is always always great! Sat down to finalize our purchase and Patrick had nothing to say to us except “this is what the Dr recommended” no personal conversation nothing! But he did make time for the other helper with her question while she was with another customer. Send people home that don’t have the desire to help customers.

Answering phones must not be a priority for them. I guess I’ll just do a no call no show tomorrow. Scheduling conflicts. I’ve called 4 days in a row and I’m placed on a hold for 20+ minutes. I don’t even get a chance to speak to a person. Searching for other options as we speak.

Had a great experience at this location. The person that helped, if I recall her name was Amber, was amazing. Great customer service. She explained to me what I was getting and how it will benefit me and my vision. She was very prompt and was able to answer all of my questions. Definitely a better experience here than I have had at one of the other locations.

Had a spectacular experience here, practically life changing. Aby and Hope were very helpful with recommendations for my needs, and they really helped me through the wilderness of vision insurance and I made it through. I couldnt recommend this store enough. Top notch customer service.

UPDATE: Poor experience picking up my glasses. The prescription was incorrect but I was told to just try them for a few days. They weren’t adjusted to fit my face either and would fall off my face.My third trip was to return them with my current glasses prescription in hand that is radically different from the new ones. The same person, Hope, helped me, she was much more helpful after listening to my frustration with her from my previous visit. I go back a fourth time tomorrow to be re-examined.I would have given this one star except that Hope did try to remedy her previous interactions. I will repost when I get the next two pairs. Too much money to spend on inferior products.Had a great experience selecting and ordering my glasses. Anna was so helpful picking the right frame and throughout the entire ordering process. This is the only time I have ever purchased eyeglasses where the staff has actually listened to me. The entire staff was very friendly and Ally did a perfect job finding what I needed and actually staying within my financial requirements. Since I had badly broken glasses and a very sour demeanor I am beyond impressed. She even was the one who picked my glasses, found a very cute pair, and continued to smile while I pouted through the process. They truly made the process actually enjoyable even though I hate buying glasses.

My friend and I recently went in for eye exams and new glasses. They allowed my friend and I to go back together for the exams as my friend was super nervous and hadn’t had an eye exam in years. We were able to ask questions during the exam which helped calm her fears. Then when it came to picking out frames, the staff was very knowledgeable and upfront about our insurance coverage and helped us pick out glasses that would fit our needs and our budget! We were quoted a Friday pick up time, but they were even ready a couple days early!

Dealt with Jameila and she’s very nice and knowledgeable. I’m very picky and was impressed to see that the WHOLE office was pitching ideas on how I can solve some of the issues I was having from a previous set of glasses elsewhere. The Dr, Lab Tech, Multiple Salespeople, etc. Everyone had a genuine interest in truly helping me and finding something that fits me best rather than just wanting to sell something quickly and be done with it.Thanks again!

I recently purchased 2 new pairs of glasses. Amber was amazing!! She helped me pick them out and explained how my prescription effected the size of my lenses and the difference in the sunglass lenses. I was very indecisive on the look I was going for. She was patient, pulled a million frames, and helped me find the perfect pair and I just love them both! They compliment my face, eyes, hair and I feel great in them! She also adjusted them perfectly without much feedback from me. Thank you, Amber!!

I had the best customer service by Zoe today!! I bought my glasses elsewhere, larger than my old pair & progressives, which I’m used to but the tech where I got them seemed to get irritated by my revisits for adjustments & my nose pads were not sitting right, et.... Zoe listened to my issues today & fixed me right up & was so pleasant to work with & I didn’t feel like it was MY fault for the adjustment. Thank you Zoe!!!!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I EVER RECEIVE!!!! YouFill out the paperwork before you come in and sign in when you arrive! They continue to work with the client as they were before we arrived! Fantastic! I wouldn’t expect anything different, 20 min later !!! They finally decided to check my son in, just to tell me it has been canceled because it’s more then 10 minutes after the appointment.. I said well I have been waiting while you finished with your previous clients. She became agitated and called me a liar! HELLO. It’s not my fault you were still with clients and not enough workers to assist the appointment! my son was refused his appointment because they didn’t check him in soon enough or within 10 min of the Appointment time.. HOW is those okay or my fault !! I urge you to pick a different location.. on top of it all my boyfriend had an appointment after my son, so we stayed for his! She talked about me to other clients!!! RUDE!! So unprofessional!! I have been getting glasses from them for 5 years and this is the first and last time I will be at this location!! They need a lot of help!!

I came in without an appointment and still got an eye exam without waiting. The receptionist checked my insurance and was able to figure out if my HSA could be used to pay. Also, Hope did a good job in saving me the most money she could and was very patient, funny, and genuinely kind. Recommend her :)

Where to start. First time in. They misread my glasses and run me out the door with an improper prescription after. I called back that same day and told them i couldnt see. Went in a second time for another appointment. And took me telling the doctor they are wrong and forced them to reread my existing glasses again. So they did that and found I was right. You ask these people for trials and they act like you are bane on their existence and then drag the process out as long as possible. Now fast forward after they opened back up after COVID. They barely answer the phones and dont have any ambition to make this right. My next stop will be filling a complaint. Called a week ago and no call back. I call again today to have them hang up the phone after being dropped three times. Dont waste your time or money here. Compete joke of Optometry.

I came back for eye exams for myself and my 6 year old. I love the ability to schedule appointments on-line; the staff is very nice and courteous. The DO was very patient with my 6 year old who had trouble lining her face up against the measuring machines. They have a great selection of glasses on display and we were not pressured in making any on-the-spot purchases. We got our prescriptions in case we decide to buy our glasses somewhere else without having to pay extra like other places weve seen. They have all kinds of offers on their website so their services and glasses are very affordable even without vision insurance; in fact, we spent less money there than we spent at another place in West Omaha when we had insurance. I am definitely coming back!

I was given an appointment last year at the end of my appointment for this year. I get a reminder for a different time so I call and they tell me that was a suggestion and did not have me scheduled. I had the card that I carried for a year with date and time. But nothing they could do for me. Why would they make an appointment and not actually put into computer. Very dissappointed I have been going to Vision works for many years. Never again.

I had to go to Visionworks today to get glasses because of a scratch on my eye. I walked in not knowing if I was going to be able to afford glasses as well as if they were going to be able to have some made the same day. Anna was the supervisor there and not only did she go out of her way finding me two pairs of glasses but also called the other store at Westroads to make them today. For a low price of $59. I couldn’t believe it and I was so amazed. I also had my 4 year old son with me as she gave home crayons and a coloring book to keep him occupied. I would recommend this place to everyone they are Amazing especially Anna. Thank you so much

*long story*This review is long overdue. Before I reached this location I got my first pair of glasses in Kansas where I lived at the time. After I received and wore my glasses I notice that it continue to slip of my face. I went back to the store, and they offered to adjust the glasses for me. After this adjustment(tightning of frame) couple days later I had the same issue. I went back to the store since I had 10 days to return the pair and find a different model. Again at this time they still offered the same method of adjusting. At the time I didnt think any of this was wrong as it was my first pair of glasses and it seemed to work after the adjusment. Couple weeks in ofcourse the same issue occured which lead me to stop wearing the pair as it was uncomfortable. When I went to visit family in Nebraska a couple months later, I decided to stop at the mall and saw this location of vision works. I went in with the same story as before in the hopes that anything else could be done. The employee was extremely nice and was trying to come to a solution. At that moment the store manager Madeline stepped in as she overheard the conversation. She mentioned right away that the previous location(kansas) had to let me swith out the pair after the second time, as it was not a right fit. Ofcourse that is what she offered me. She told me I could look at any model and if I didnt find what I liked she would call her coworkers at the westroads location with the same service. I only would had to pay the price difference.( if old pair was 200 and new pair is 220, I would pay 20$) I found my new glasses that fit me right without any adjustments and I still wear them today. The turn around was 10 business days but I received a call after only 4 days that my glasses were in. I am not sure if the store manager Madeline placed a rush order(if that is even possible) or not as I was extremely pleased. Overall everyone at this location was extremely nice and helpful and I cant express how gratefull I am till this day, that after 6months Madeline let me exchange my pair. Thanks!!!!

Had to get my glasses repaired at a jeweler needed to have the lenses put back in the frames. Went across the mall to vision works to see if they could put the lenses back and they did and wouldnt charge for the service. Very helpful and friendly

Second I have been to this VW and each time they have been very helpful. Anna who check us out was very helpful making sure we understood how the pricing worked and that we used our FSA correctly. It was fast and friendly, I will definitely be going back to this location.

I have been coming to Vision Works for over 12 years. Their staff offer the best customer service of any eyewear company i ever had. I am 72 years old and have worn glasses since I was 16 years old! Three years ago I bought a pair of clear lens, sun glasses and for the first time ever, computer glasses. No, they are not a gimmick. I am a writer and now only keyboard wearing my computer prescriptipn glasses. This was over $1,000 worth of eyewear. I have broken the frames of my clear lens pair twice and Vision Works replaced them twice, no questions asked. Their staff I have worked with, includes Hope,, the most experienced eyewear staff person I ever known, as well as Ellie and Aby, are just the best. I know there is no such thing in the eyewear world, but i feel like being a customer of Vision Works is the closest thing to a lifetime guarantee. You will never regret going to them. Ever.

Hope, who helped me choose my glasses, was great, but unfortunately she was the only good part of me & my friend’s visit. My friend and I were slowed down by traffic on our way to Oakview, so I decided to call the store to let them know we would most likely be late and to see if that would be okay (or if we should just reschedule). I was told by one of the front desk girls that we would be fine as long as we made it to the appointment within the “10-minute grace period” they allow. We ended up arriving late, but WITHIN the supposed ten minute “grace period”. My friend’s appointment was first, so after the pre-testing she immediately went in to be examined by DR. HEIDI WISE. Heidi Wise proceeded to scold my friend about our “tardiness” and shamed her for not indicating on her paperwork that she had gotten an eye procedure two years prior. Heidi Wise told my friend that there was no way she could perform a simple eye exam for her and that she would need to go see the specialist who did the procedure. Heidi Wise belittled my friend for thinking she could receive an eye exam from Visionworks after her surgery, and refused to service her. There are MANY things completely wrong with this: 1) We were told by a Visionworks employee that we would be fine coming to our appointment late as long as we arrived within the ten minute grace period....yet when we arrived Dr. Heidi Wise acted as though this was unacceptable. If it was THAT big of a deal, we would have canceled the appointment completely, but like I said, we were told it would be acceptable under those conditions. So I’m not quite sure why Heidi Wise chose to waste my friend’s appointment time to scold her for this. Does the grace period actually exist? If not, why were we told otherwise on the phone not 20 minutes before? It makes no sense. 2) The specialist who performed my friend’s surgery instructed her to get yearly eye exams. He said she could go anywhere for a simple eye exam, and it was not necessary to go back to him for each eye exam. The Wednesday after my friend was denied service at this Visionworks, she called her specialist to confirm this. He was surprised to hear about the way she was treated and said that clearly the Visionworks doctor (Heidi Wise) had no idea what she was talking about, and that theres no reason she shouldnt have been able to receive an eye exam. Furthermore, my friend also called the Visionworks at Westroads to see if they would be able to give her an eye exam. She explained to them what happened at Oakview and they told her that yes, theres no reason they wouldnt be able to help her and that she could definitely schedule an eye exam at Westroads. To summarize, my friend was upset and humiliated by Heidi Wise’s condescending manner & was denied service for absolutely no reason, and we truly don’t understand why. I do NOT recommend this Visionworks location under any circumstances. My friend has always gotten exceptional service from the Westroads location though. I personally have never had any issues with Lenscrafters in the past and plan on going there for all of my future eye exams/glasses.

Dont speak with hunter. Shes a class act in snobbery. When faced with a question she doesnt know she changes the subject. When asked to speak with a manager, without missing a beat hes busy. Her customer service skills can use a lot of work

Not impressed with the service today. The woman at the front was extremely nice and apologized for the wait but the phone was ringing off the hook, customers coming in took way longer than it should of. You cant just put one person on the clock when your at a vision center especially a walkin are welcome.
