I absolutely love my beautifully crafted bracelet my boyfriend gave me for Christmas! Goldsmith is a small boutique jewelry store in the quaint Old Market in Omaha and has been around for many years. They offer really traditional pieces and custom unique pieces. They had the designer craft a bracelet to fit my wrist, sent it to an engraver for a beautiful message inside, and shipped to me. A fantastic experience all the way around. This is a bracelet I will wear daily with two others in my collection. Thank you Goldsmith!

Dwaine did a great job resizing my Sterling Silver, Scottish made, Celtic design ring that was in a sorry state after some 20 years of wearing it daily. It was stronger than ever, with a brilliant shine.

I highly recommend Goldsmith Silversmith for custom pieces. I wanted a necklace to commemorate two rafting trips down the Grand Canyon, but couldn’t find anything I liked anywhere on the web (I looked). Based on a photo I’d taken, Dwaine and Jim, the talented, experienced jewelers at Goldsmith Silversmith created a beautiful, custom silver pendant for me. The work is exquisite, multilayered and textured, with an open section for the river. Elizabeth followed up with me during every stage of the process, and the final price was WELL below her initial estimate. I’ll wear this piece every day with pleasure!

This business is amazing. I worked with Elizabeth and Jim, and while Elizabeth is the one I actually spoke to, Jim is the one who worked on my 1950s era locket. Elizabeth is amazingly kind and gives tons of great information in store. She also readily and enthusiastically engaged my children. I went in to fix the inner lip of my locket and expected to pay $50-60, and it not only took Jim mere moments to fix, but was a fraction of that(quoted $30). He said no cost, but you dont just leave a place like that with nothing. We are definitely going there again and find their work to be top notch! Also noteworthy, they carry local artists work! Amazing space and definitely worth a visit or 10.

Dwayne worked closely with my fiancé and I to get his ring to fit perfectly. This jewelry shop is one of the only places I would trust with my jewelry. Right when you walk into the shop, you can tell you are going to be treated well. The jewelers really listened to us and gave us their undivided attention. We got a great deal for our jewelry; even though the price of gold had gone up considerably from when the item had been marked, they sold us the piece for the price listed. If you want someone who you can trust with your valuables, the Goldsmith is the place I’d recommend! Also, if you’re lucky, you’ll be greeted by Finn, the friendly cat, when you walk in.

Amazing customer service! Every time I need a jewelry repair or any jewelry needs, the owner and staff are super supportive and knowledgable. And, they have a gorgeous cat named Fin who adds even more friendliness to the atmosphere. 5 stars for sure!

My mom had a necklace with a twisted chain that she took to them. They fixed the chain in less than a minute and also cleaned both the necklace and ring! She said the necklace looked as new as the day she purchased it! They were so nice and it was a great experience. Definitely recommend!

Left a ring on a Saturday for a very minor repair. They promised it on Monday. Called on Wednesday since I hadnt heard from them. They said it wasnt done but she would get it done Wednesday night. Called Friday They said maybe Monday. I said Ill just come pick it up. I was told I couldnt just pick it up. I would have to schedule an appointment to pick it up. I wont go back!

Everyone there is incredibly kind and genuinely wants to make sure you find the right jewelry for you! My engagement ring was a family heirloom and my husband wanted to have the stone reset. Goldsmith Silversmith was the only place he could find that would make the ring exactly how he envisioned and it turned out beautifully! We had such a great experience with my engagement ring that we asked them to help mold my wedding band to nest under the engagement ring. They were wonderful to work with and I am so so happy to have my jewelry from there!

The shop is charming and the owner and his family/staff cannot be friendlier. I saw a very unique ring in May but was not convinced to make a major purchase. After three months it is still on my mind. I emailed the shop and they honored the May discount. Furthermore, the owner himself spent time with me on the phone and worked out a deal. The ring arrived within 48 hours, as elegant and impeccable as how I remembered it. I cannot speak highly enough of this shop.

I bought a special ring while traveling in Ireland a year and a half ago. I had gotten a ring a good couple of sizes too big (I had just come off of 10 days of Cruise Ship eating).I stopped in to Goldsmith Silversmith to see if the ring could be resized. I expected to leave my ring, and pay for the service, and pick it up in a couple of weeks.Instead, he offered an alternative. He said he had a device that would round the edges in, resulting in a tighter fit. He went in the back with my ring, and in 60 seconds (seriously, it was that fast), he returned and it was tighter! 4 more trips to the back, and my ring is now tight enough to not slip carelessly off of my finger.When I asked how much I owed, he waived his hand as signal that there was no charge. I tried to pay, and he insisted that there was no charge. He even offered to adjust further if after a few days I wanted it a little tighter.Looking around the shop, I saw a lot of very beautiful jewelry on display.If youre in the market for some beautiful jewelry, I hope youll stop into Goldsmith Silversmith.

The jewelry designs of Dwaine Ferguson and his associates are classy and very original -- what you could call beautiful art-to-wear. I stopped in today to get a replacement watch battery (at a reasonable cost) -- something you wouldnt expect them to offer but Im very glad they do.

Love this goldsmith! I have been given 3 sets of beautiful earrings over the last 30 years and they are still gorgeous. Most recently, I took in a custom ring that they designed. A ring that my husband bought for me on the birth of our daughter, 24 years ago. Gold band, with a brilliant diamond and a cornflower blue sapphire. It has been on my finger everyday for the last 24 years and it only needed a couple of prongs replaced after all that time.When that same daughter turned 18, she and Dwayne together, designed a very special silver ring with a loose blue sapphire we brought in. Beautifully crafted and a one of a kind family heirloom.Five stars from this family!

I went in to the silversmith jewelry store to see if they could fix a problem with my wedding ring. Not only did they fix it on the spot, but he didnt even charge me. Now thats customer satisfaction.We will be back soon to purchase something that we saw when we came in.

Really disappointed to even make this review. Recently took a gold chain in to get repairs done for a Christmas gift. Had the chain in the family for 30 plus years so the sentimental value is just as much as the actual value. Got the chain back and its very obvious its not the same chain. Looks different and has major discoloring after a day of wear. Definetly not the same quality chain that was taken in for repair. Took it back and was told it could have been a mix up but the people inside did nothing to fix the problem. Very surprised with a business that has been around for years. Buyers please be aware, never thought this would happen to us! Check your things you get back after repairs!

I cannot express how impressed I am with the workmanship and talent of the staff. Speaking with Mr. Ferguson, he walked me through the design process for my wifes mothers ring. He helped me again on a silver bar necklace for our 25th anniversary. He was patient and listened to my concept and delivered yet again.

Quaint little shop that feels like your stepping back in time when actual craftsmen worked in the shop you walked into, instead of just reselling merchandise from across the globe. Wonderful customer service too. Brought in two watches to have batteries replaced and the gentleman working on my job wasnt able to get one of them open, despite his best effort. He was able to change the other watch battery and offered to not charge anything since he couldnt get both of them changed. I insisted on paying for the one, but thats just not the kind of down to earth, real people interactions you tend to experience in todays retail world. While I was only needing to have done batteries changed, the experience and feel of this shop would definitely make me come back if I were interested in purchasing jewelry!

We went in with a few old rings that we wanted to reset and combine and Dwayne did an amazing job designing the new ring on the spot. The final product exceeded our expectations and was really fantastic. Timelines and communication definitely could have been better, but given that we werent in a hurry, the quality of the work far outshines the hiccups in service.

Took my wifes ring here to be resized and they did a brilliant job taking it in. We ended up going to Goldsmith Silversmith because another jeweler downtown didnt feel comfortable working on 18K rose gold for some reason. In the end, that worked out for us because the confidence and professionalism that the jeweler at Goldsmith and Silversmith offered was far and away worth the hassle. 5-stars.

Dwaine designed and expertly made beautiful, unique wedding bands for my husband and me nearly nine years ago - hammered silver & mine has a bezel set sapphire, lovely! Then a couple of years ago he made a diamond eternity ring to wear along side. Now his wonderful staff - Elizabeth specifically helped us- are making three bracelets with diamonds from my late husband for my two daughters and me. I have both purchased from Goldsmith Silversmith and had a ring designed. They do excellent work. You may have to wait a bit longer for a custom or repair piece but you wont be disappointed with the end product.

When I took my mothers wedding ring in to have it re-set they took it to their jewelers home, without my permission. I found this out because 3 weeks later they hadnt even started it, I was calling on the day that it was due to be completed. I demanded it back, and got it back - in pieces. Save your valuables! Dont go here!

Dwaine worked with us to design and make my wifes wedding ring a couple of years ago. She is always getting compliments on it, and that makes her happy. My wife had some ideas about what she wanted, and Dwaine spent a lot of time with us working out the details of the design. He made a wax model so she could see it before they made the ring. I like knowing that there is not another one like it, just like my wife. Whenever we are in the area we stop in and visit the shop. Dwaine and his staff are always fun to chat with.
