My experience with this store has been the worst customer service experience of my life. No one is on the same page and different members of their staff will tell you different things. When you call the number listed, you get a call center and not the store - and the call center has no way to transfer you to the store.Update: A very polite man by the name of Joe called me and acknowledged that I had been given conflicting information. He apologized and offered to handle my issue, as was originally promised. The overall experience was still a nightmare, and Im hoping to never go back to this store, but I brought the number of stars up from 1 to 3 for Joes effort to rectify the situation.

What a disaster! This store left my iphone 8 plus in worse shape than it came in. Quoted $180 for a replacement screen. The store didnt call or text to let me know they werent going to do the repair because the screen had been replaced previously. When I returned to pickup, they had wiped the data despite repairing nothing and applied a sticky protector that pulled shards of glass off as they removed it. They offered a full device swap for $400. Not ready to pay that just for touchid to work.

I ordered a new iphone online with an in store pick up appointment. I received a qr code to be scanned at the store for verification. I did have to modify the pick up time and that was no problem. When I arrived at the store I had the qr code ready on my phone to be scanned and the associate asked for email address and photo ID, I was wearing my mask so visual identification was not a good option. The qr code was never scanned so I am not sure why it was sent. This store must not follow corporate policy when it comes to utilization of online purchase protocol. Would consider future purchases here.

Hard to find. White building doesnt look like it belongs. Davenport St near Scheels rear entrance.Went with malfunctioning Airpods in hand. Took two dongles just to hook up buds to thier diagnostic machine. Ultimately determined that the right bud didnt have the latest firmware. Said I needed to plug into an ios device for 30 minutes. All this after hours of tech support with Amazon. I decided to do a return/refund with Amazon and pay a $35 restocking fee. I only paid $150 for the Airpods so I guess they were worth a shot. If you have a Samsung phone, or anything besides an ios device, avoid Airpods. As an Apple shareholder I expected better... Last thing I need is another bum Apple product.

My daughter made an appointment 2/17/21 to get her pen looked at by the geniuses. We arrived a bit early from our appointment time. We were asked by the security politely and said “ kids what can I do for you “ . My daughter told the security that she made an appointment to have the pen looked at. Then we were told to stay at the side of the store at 19 degrees F temperature. We were outside for 27 minutes way pass our appointment time. The security guy were apologetic. We are not happy about our appointment was late and we waited outside with this weather. If you can’t keep up with the appointment which happens, at least you can do is not to freeze your customer. A heater would be nice or a pager!Today we got a message that the pen is ready. I told the security that my daughter received a text message that the pen is ready and specifically said that she doesn’t need to make an appointment. But the security guy told us to go to the side of the store and wait. While we were waiting another customer came and said the same thing that she got a message that her stuff is ready and doesn’t need to make an appointment and the security guard let her in. My husband asked why did you let her in wherein we have to line up for the same reason- pick up item. Another security guy came and asked what’s the problem. And of course we have to explain again!! We had to say something otherwise we would be waiting for no reason. It appears like the security people doesn’t know the freaking procedure. So upsetting.

I really want to thank Apple so much for understanding my situation and everything of what happened to my iPhone 12 Pro Max. It all started from last Thursday at 6:30pm and it started to smoke in my car and I was not even less than a minute a away from home. I was getting Runza that day for me and grandmother and that’s when it all started from. My phone was in my pocket when I heard that cracking noise. I did take the case off just on time barely and then I laid it on the ground on my drive way and boom the hole back of the phone shattered into pieces and was destroyed. I could see a bit of the battery too and that’s where the smoke was coming from. There was a hole in the battery and I was like no wonder why it started to smoke up and over heated and I’m just so relieved and happy that I’m ok and everything. I thought I lost my life from this but the main thing is I’m so glad I’m ok and everything but I will never ever forget about this at all. It was so scary too. I was so shaken up and in desperate mode too. I couldn’t even sleep that well at all after that happened. Now I’m sleeping much better now too. I still can’t get over the fact why my company U.S. Cellular would say to me, you have to call this 800 number to Apple and explain the whole situation. Here’s what made me so mad, so that guy on the phone was so disrespectful to me and he told me by the looks of the phone when I took pictures of it, he said that looks like a broken back phone only and I’m like sir are you out of your mind because my Grandmother was the witness and she saw the whole thing too. It was seriously smoking and then exploded on the back side of the phone and my grandmother saw the whole thing. Just because of this, now I’m so mad with my U.S. Cellular company for saying that to me and for why I called that 800 number for Apple. I should of just came to the Apple store in the first place instead and guess what, that guy that I talked to was so kind and polite to me. He felt so sorry and bad for me. He was happy that I was ok and everything too. He took care of the problem and he told me I had Apple Care insurance thankfully and so he told me for that reason, it only cost me $105 to pay for a brand new iPhone 12 Pro Max and I said deal to that guy. If was more than that, I would be like nope I’m not going to except that at all. So I excepted it and I said to that guy, thank you so much for understanding about my situation with the phone and last I said, thank you for being so polite and nice to me. Because of that I also bought a beautiful blue Apple otterbox case from them and I seriously love it too. They also put my glass screen protector on nicely too. I wanted to show my respect for them so ya. All together I payed $200 and that’s not bad at so ya. If I ever have any other problems with my future iPhones or whatever, I’ll always come to this place for now on. Best service and most caring and polite Apple people. Thank you so much Apple. Team Apple forever 😊🍎

I guess I get it theres covid around so kinda makes sense but cmon I dont have the black plague. She hardly knew anything about the iPhones, or maybe I shoulda probed her more because she didnt care to tell us much. That was our purpose of going to the store versus just buying online. I was curious about camera quality differences processor speed or maybe ram. The security person outside the store was very nice and the employee, Jake, who helped me inside of the store was also very nice and helpful. The store is very strict in regards to Covid precautions it seems. Masks are required and the employees inside the store are sitting behind some really good protective plexiglass. The employees I interacted with were wearing masks including the security personnel standing outside the store. The lines to get into the store outside are marked with social distance marks on the ground as well. It took me about 10 mins to pickup my order and it was a good experience. I received my new MagSafe charger and it has a sharp nick in the metal direct from the factory. This doesn’t affect the function but I paid a premium for a superior, beautifully presented, flawless product. Apple did not deliver and Apple won’t make it right. They will only accept a return for replacement or refund, but you have to do it all by mail. But wait! This offer is repeated as the “only options available.” A minimum of two weeks just for them to receive and process. I waited four weeks for the initial delivery.Has the most profitable tech company on the planet really taken America back to the days of mail catalog ordering? In addition, since the store is closed I can’t use my AppleCare on my watch. Refund? Will I be able to use AppleCare for my iPhone 12 if I need to? It seems I’m only padding Apple’s bottom line by paying for products and services they refuse to deliver on.Previously, when I ordered a MacBook I received one with a blackout screen. Twice. And the replacement was dented. The reps I spoke with then were at least embarrassed. I finally bought one from NFM for a discount. I thought this was an exception to Apple’s stellar marketing and service. Finally, you can’t claim COVID when your stores in China (the virus epicenter) were open on release of the new iPhone. If Apple refuses to open their stores Apple’s support is finished. Which means a demand for their products will follow.

If you can avoid this store, for your own sanity please do so. I have been to Apple stores around the world, and not one has ever been this bad. I have had no less than four issues with this store. First, I paid this store $129 to replace a screen on my iPhone 6S. Then, when it needed a battery replaced this store wouldn’t fix it as they stated the screen wasn’t authentic Apple part. I paid this very Apple store to fix the screen, and never didn’t have my iPhone until went to get battery repaired. So basically they used an incorrect or fake Apple part to replace my screen then wouldn’t fix my battery. It only gets worse from there. I went in with my iPhone X when it was the newest model. The iPhone wasn’t working properly. It was less than a year old. The technician tried to get me to buy a newer model iPhone. I had the newest model in my hands. After speaking with the manager things only got worse. The manager refused to help out and backed his employee who was wrong for not repairing my malfunctioning iPhone and trying to sell me another. And then said it was okay the employee tried to sell me a new one. My iPhone looked flawless never got wet and wasn’t damaged externally in any way. But they still didn’t want to help me. They just wanted me to buy a new iPhone. The next incident I had was in October 2019, I went in with my Son’s iPhone. The employee told me since the lightning port was bad we needed to pay the replacement $299 to get a “new” one. We got it but it was refurbished. After finding this out I wasn’t happy and tried to return it. They said that I had signed a document on their iPad that stated I couldn’t return this because it’s different than all their other products when you do an exchange replacement. You don’t get a full warranty only 90 days and you cannot return it.The supposed manager wouldn’t budge on returning it. He said all sales are final. I am like nobody told me that I couldn’t return this like any other product in the store. He said I signed a document stating that. The thing I signed on the iPad according to the Apple “Genius” was just saying that they’re replacing my iPhone with a brand new one for a lesser price. Basically, they’re not acting with transparency. They’re always trying to up sell. It’s a money grab. The final straw for me was when I went to buy an iPhone 11. They said I could get $600 trade in for my iPhone XS Max. So, I traded it in. The iPhone 11 just wasn’t a real improvement going from the XS Max to the iPhone 11. The next day I tried to return it. They said if I returned it they wouldn’t give me my iPhone XS Max back. I said okay, how about just store credit for that. The manager argued with me in front of other people and he said “I had signed a waiver releasing them from any liability of the trade in device when I signed the receipt on the iPad the day before.” I escalated this and the “regional” manager had been there listening to everything I said and he said he agreed the manager did everything according to Apple’s procedure. They could return the difference in the iPhone 11, but not the $600 trade in value under any circumstances not even if I used that towards a higher end iPhone 11 Pro or Pro Max. Really frustrating. After living all around the country and world, I have never had worse Apple store experiences than the ones in Omaha Village Pointe Apple Store. From their “Geniuses” to their managers, they don’t care to be nice or polite. They don’t care to be fair or even agree that their store is the issue. From waiting over an hour and twenty minutes for an appointment, to not ever getting any flexibility from them, to being eleven minutes late one time and they canceled my appointment to get an iPhone repaired after waiting a week. And all thanks to terrible parking situations at the store at the time.Do yourself a favor. Visit any other Apple Store and save your sanity. Buy from Amazon or Best Buy. Save yourself the frustration and ask about a million questions before you ever trust their “Geniusea.” Just avoid it!

We went to Verizon, where we were told my husbands iPhone had a recall and that since Apple was covering the cost, we had to go to the Apple store. They specifically told us there was no fixing it, it had to be replaced. The guy also told us that for all of December we were required to make an appointment. We go home and call Apple, where an agent pulls up my husbands phone info, agrees our only option is to get the phone replaced at the Apple store, but tells us the store is booked for a week. She tells us we can just show up though, and we might have to wait a few hours but someone will get to us. I did ask why the Verizon guy told us we had to make an appointment, and she got very offended and snotty and repeatedly told us she would not give us false advice. So we make the hour drive to Omaha and get in line before the store has even opened. Right before 9 a guy comes out and says the manager is late and he cant legally let anyone in until the manager shows up. As soon as we can go in, they dont ask anyone if they have appointments, they just say to go to one side of the store for technical help or the other side for sales. So that was cool, we could have shown up anytime we wanted. We get helped second, and this guy tells us they are NOT replacing the recalled phones, they are shipping them out and attempting to repair them, which can take 10-21 days, and if we have another phone to just settle for that one in the meantime. We explain we dont carry multiple phones around and he needs it for work and is leaving town on Sunday, so the guy says we can rent a loaner, but if not returned once his phone is fixed, if fixed, we have to buy the loaner. We say that wont work for us and ask why both Verizon and an Apple rep over the phone told us the phone would be replaced. He says he isnt sure why we were given wrong info, and asks if my husband was able to back up his phone before this issue started. As if we planned this. While also helping another customer at our table at the same time. Finally he says he can reset the phone and hope that works for us. That did literally nothing, and we ended up driving back to Lincoln where we bought a new phone from Verizon.

My wife and I stopped in about a week and a half ago about getting a new laptop. We were helped at the time by Guillermo, he was great. We decided to get one that had to be ordered, no problem. We were told once it came we could drop off her current laptop to have the files transferred, also no problem. The transfer would take a couple days, no problem. We received an email yesterday that the new one had arrived to the Apple Store. My wife forward me the email and asked me to drop off the current one to have the files transferred. When I arrived, I told the young lady what I was there to do, just drop off the current laptop not take the new one, after a few minutes she told me I could not do that because the new one was ordered in my wifes name and not my own so I could not take the new one. I explained again that I did not want to take the new one, I just wanted to leave the current one. She told me I could not do that despite all the evidence that I am married to my wife and bringing her laptop in because I could not take the new one. She said this was the companys rule. It was all a very frustrating and circular explanation. There was no resolution short of my wife dropping the current laptop off personally that was offered.I already am an android user and this experience did nothing to encourage me to change that.

I came in for a diagnostics test thinking I needed a new battery. The tech said that everything tested OK but that the time for a new battery might be coming soon, and that it COULD be at fault for the slowness of my iPhone 6. I went through all of his recommendations to reset the settings, content, tried restoring from different backups; everything he recommended. So I set up an appointment to replace the battery. Between waiting for the part and getting in to have the repair done, it took 3 weeks. When I finally got the phone back, the tech said that the repair could not be done because the phone had received water damage and that the aftermarket screen could interfere with the new battery and that for both of those reasons, they could not guarantee a perfect quality repair. Now...I understand that that may be the case. I have no problem with the logic here. Also, everyone was very nice to me. However, I KNEW that my phone had gotten a new display due to water damage. I knew. So WHY at no point are you warning customers that these issues will prevent you from repairing their devices? Im talking about outside the fine print. I mean, a simple question at the beginning of the process, and you could have saved me my 3 weeks of wait time, and not wasted the time of 3 of your employees on 2 different occasions. Seriously, I am not even that upset. I am definitely confused, though, as to why you arent screening for past repairs that you (understandably) cant vouch for. Makes you look like an ass it what it does. I am not the only one without Apple Care, or the only one with a wet phone, or the only one with an aftermarket display, or the only one who now looks at going to the Apple Store like a trip to the dentist. You know?

Some of the staff seem to be too into their high tech world and customer service is not adequately displayed in this store. Two in particular were fairly rude when I kept checking in to pick up my fixed phone - which was an hour later than what they quoted me in the first place. Fixed my phone but won’t be going back to this store because of the employees. I honestly would expect a lot more from such a high end company. Chic- fil- a has better customer service.

Allen (Alan?) the manager at this village pointe location was an incredible help and did a really good job of making sure I had the help I needed when I came in and was trying to locate my lost iPhone. I locked myself out of a lot of my emails used to recover my iPhones location and he was super patient. Much appreciated!

Shaming, I mean Sales, at it finest. But did you know they can (re)evaluate your self-worth too? And with the family package, they will do all that right in front of your loved ones. The best part is, its all FREE.Not sure how (or if) apple trains these geniuses, but their condescending sales pitch is a class apart. And from how they love to gloat about their latest and greatest iphones and $300 headphones, apple must pay them very well.Already an apple user you say? Doesnt change a thing. You are THE Customer? Doesnt matter either. For specials, ask/look for the tall(ish) guy with (nerdy) glasses. Dont let his baby face fool you, his jokes are a class apart.Happy Shopping!

I have been in here many times and overall always had a good experience. Great place to go and try out any of the new products Apple has coming out, which is great because I always like to try things before I buy, gives me more confidence in my purchase! Some of the staff could be more knowledgeable and better trained, but overall still good customer service.

So the trick to getting an actual person is this... when the automatic answering machine comes on, just say “Speak to a store manager” and it will send you straight to the store instead of Apple care. When I actually got the store instead of Apple care, he was super kind and helpful. AJ (I think) was incredibly helpful and worked hard to get my issue resolved.

I had a wonderful experience here. I know it is really busy (as to be expected) but CHASE (great bearded dude) helped me and let me tell you, the man is a genius! So kind, so helpful, VERY knowledgeable. He made my experience here great. I walked in with a problem with my phone and left with a smile because I was helped and he enjoyed helping me! Great employee you guys got there! Keep him!

Some of the intake people can be really abrasive but once you get past them the experience is okay. I had a really terrible experience today with a person who refused to actually hear my question, kept talking over me, and was really aggressive from the start. I work in tech, specifically in support, and and the most important issue is to make sure people feel heard when they are frustrated not make them more frustrated. This person made Apple look really bad.

To all of the people that have had bad experiences. Yes make an appointment ahead of time. You do it for the doctor, hair stylist, and car repairs, so what is the difference. You broke it and/or it is out of warranty. Same as your car, it is your fault. Repair people cannot quote you anything until they see the item being repaired. DUH!!I read it online so it must be true. Really!!Not everyone in the store is a technician. So if it appears that they are standing around, they are as sales people. Same as at a car dealership. They are and always will be busy. They limit how many new items can be purchased so everyone has an opportunity. Not racist!! Admit you are trying to resell them online or at a non Apple authorized outlet. No one can make you cry. You did not like what you heard and it made you upset and you cried. Not an employees fault. If you dont like this review because it goes against your experience in any store, You are the issue, not the store or its employees.

Short review: they suck at customer serviceLong review:These guys are horribly slow at fixing simple issues. I witnessed them charge someone a penny for the “free warranty service”. I have personally set an appointment and waited over 2 hours to get into my “set appointment” only to be told that they can’t cover the warranty on my phones antenna which is less than a year old (which they offered to fix at my own cost). 1 employee was nice and the rest ignored me and continued to talk amongst the other employees outside of asking if I needed any help to which I replied “yes, what exactly is this thing you’re selling for $200 and no info on it on display?” I will be switching back to Samsung after this phone is absolutely needed for replacement, their helpline is actually as helpful as it gets and doesn’t try and sell you what you don’t need or ignore you

There’s no way this place is actually going to be enjoyable to go to until they get another apple store or two in the city and stop packing this one like a sardine can. I dread every single time I have to make the long trek out here just to walk through the front door and find it packed.
