Definitely a great place for all cigar and pipe lovers. When I first started getting deeper into learning cigars, at least three people (separately) took turns helping educate me, showing me which sticks I may or may not like, teaching me about different cigar types, tobaccos used, ring difference, just so much knowledge shares with me and time spent with me, that I have never been into a more helpful, or more friendly cigar shop than this one. One VERY important note, is that I have NEVER once seen any tobacco worms or worm holes in a single cigar in or from this shop. They take as much care of their cigars as they do their customers. A++

The people at Allegheny Smokeworks have really impressed me. I cannot remember having a better shopping experience. The tobacconists are very friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. The pipe tobacco selection was everything I had hoped for. The atmosphere, the conversation, the smells of the cigars and the pipe tobacco... One could kill a half-hour having a smoke here daily. This is undoubtedly my shop for all things smoke-related and I would certainly recommend it to anyone.

Im a Canadian visiting beautiful Pittsburgh and I decided to stop by Allegheny Smokeworks. What a great decision! The selection of fine quality cigars is unparalleled and the prices are great. The customer service I received was incomparable and Christian went out of his way to help us out with a bit of car trouble. Great hangout for the avid smoker. The staff is great and very friendly. The visiting clients are very eclectic and enjoyable. They always have the right cigar to for the day. With a walk-in humidifier that is packed with some of the most common brands but also work some excuisite finds that are regularly not available. The best part is the staffs deep knowledge always makes finding a new cigar a treat.

Had an awesome experience picking out some great gifts for my groomsmen for my upcoming wedding. Mike and the rest of the staff were super knowledgeable and helpful and I ended up getting some awesome gifts for the guys. This is an awesome cigar and pipe tobacco shop outside the city. It has a very traditional and welcoming feel. The employees are extremly friendly and will help both rhe novice and experienced smoker alike. They also carry many hard to find pipe tobaccos and are more than happy to help you find your favorite blend. Very knowledgeable and down to earth. This is my favorite tobacconist of all time.

Great selection, and huge stock. Knowledgeable staff. The slight negative is access. The parking lot can be tight at times. Its hilly, and there are steps, which present a barrier to the handicap, which I am. The physical barriers keep me from stopping by more often, despite the great selection.
