Great store, great staff, decent group of MTG players who are on balance friendly and welcoming to everyone from someone bringing a precon all the way to playing tuned decks. I would (and have) recommend this place highly and Im looking forward to returning more as in-store play becomes safer.

These guys are real down to earth and chill and really really nice people, I actually felt very welcomed while browsing what they had, they got alot of cool comics and alot of board games and Magic cards, POPs, FUNKO, Gundam model kits, pokemon cards and alot more... ive never played Magic cards in my life and these guys pointed me in the right direction to try it out and give it a shot, im from Pa and really look forward to going down there again to check out what they have next time I go with the fam

Atlantis have a great selection of Comic books and TGC games. Staff was very helpful and friendly. They were able to order several comics that I have been looking for that currently were not in stock. I will be back again soon.

I used to come in all the time. But because Im trying to get my vehicle situation fixed then paying for an uber to just get supplies for play on my ship isnt the best option. Im ready to be able to go back and play Magic and DnD with my friends there. Also after finding out my main method for getting there and back one of the employees offered to help me get back to base do I wouldnt have to pay for an uber back.

Love getting games from here! Always nice and clean and the staff is always friendly and helpful. With Covid-19 running around I greatly appreciate that they have rules for entering, browsing, and touching games. Also had gloves and sanitizer so theyre doing their do diligence. 😊❤🧼

Well stocked with games, supplies, pop culture toys and gifts and comics. Very large open area with tables for playing. The staff here is the best in Hampton Roads for making someone feel welcome, especially the big dude! Every time I enter, I am greeted and made to feel welcome, asked if I need help and waited on promptly! Worth the trip or stopping by if you are in the area.

Decent selection of all kinds of games. Im impressed with their schedule of game nights and enabling a community. Really good customer service. Recently went in with my mother in law for gift shopping and theyd set aside a couple items shed asked about and were helpful and informative without being pushy.

I went looking for figures for our D&D game. They had what I needed. The only suggestion I have is I wish they were a little more organized with the figures. I know some places sorry them by class and race. It would make it much easier to find what I needed faster.

Fantastic selection and helpful staff

Ive been frequenting this store for a little over two years now and I have to say its a great place to go to. The store is pretty roomy and open, various places to eat are in the immediate area, a few within walking distance and parking is never an issue.-The staff are all around friendly, professional and very inviting to anyone that walks through the door. Always good for a laugh with each of them having their own senses of humor but very serious and genuine when it comes to doing their jobs. There is no bias, they run events well and are very informative. They interact with customers of all ages, races, orientations and beliefs all the same and handle any issues that arise regarding the very rare cases of customer dissatisfaction as fair and honest as possible. They also never mix or bring any personal issues into the environment as Ive seen happen in some other places.-The place as a whole is a good place to just hang out in general, play various types of games and interact with others. Its almost like a second home or a hangout spot, even seen kids do their homework there and had help from other customers or staff.-Overall I dont regret having set foot at this store at all, the selection of items and events is good and what makes the place tick is the people that work there, they make the place come alive and its definitely easy for me to see why people frequent the shop. Id recommend Atlantis to anyone, Teenagers, Adults, Parents and their kids etc. The place is a mixed bag of good times.

This is my favorite place in the world. I used to play dnd here every week. The people are so inviting and understanding, the products you can buy are of good quality, and its just a nice place where you feel safe and included.

My wife noticed another player at this store wearing a shirt endorsing a man who supports killing gay people. When staff was informed, they refused to ask the person to change or leave. My wife, having a LGBT Pride playmat, left out of concern for her safety. The store manager and the owner saw nothing wrong with this.

Atlantis is the best comics and tabletop game store in the area. They have a wide section, hosts tons of events, and have plenty of table space to play games. Furthermore, the staff never pressure you to buy anything; you can just sit down at a table and hangout no problem.

I have been coming here off and on for a couple years. Over the last 6 months, one of the clerks consistently acts as if he doesnt have time for me or the cash I bring. As a result I have cancelled my membership and stopped going. I love the location and the other staff but I refuse to spend my money where I feel ignored. Overall I go-to other lgs or online for my purchases.

Games are definitely the focus, but they know their comics enough and have a pull list service. They dont stock many of the lower selling books, which cuts down on their risk, but, also, the customers ability to find something new. Staff is gregarious, which helps mitigate the impact of the conservative stocking. 4 stars is a compromise between 3 for comics and 5 for gaming.

Legitimately the best card shop i have been to since i started playing Magic 6 years ago. The entire staff is knowledgeable and extremely friendly. No complaints whatsoever.

Something different, I hate to admit it but I went in trying to get change for the bus. I had a few minutes to wait so as I looked around the atmosphere intrigued me so I decided not to let the opportunity to try something different get away, well getting to the point I never did catch the bus that day lol isnt it funny how trying something new can actually be so enjoyable that it can actually give you the peace you some times look for in a simple ride

Friendly service, but their comic books are a complete ripoff. Charging $3.00 to $5.00 for 1990s to early 2000s single-issues that (1) are easily found in dollar boxes at other stores and (2) they already have multiple copies of in the store is just criminal. And charging $7.00 for used trade-paperbacks that are damaged, and can easily be found at $5.00 a piece (or less) elsewhere, is just insane. Furthermore, they have discontinued comic books, such as the New-52, on the wall racks where new comic books should be displayed. Reminded me of visiting Blockbuster or Hollywood Video back in the day and questioning their loose definition of “new release” movies.I’m sure this store is fine when it comes to their gaming experience. However, when it comes to comic books, don’t waste your time nor money.

As with most gaming stores there is a mystical atmosphere of pure joy and fantastical delight. I was quite impressed with their staff and offerings. The only thing lreventing this review from 5 stars is the investment in furniture. As much as the patrons have a deep appreciation for the shiny pictures on their cards they lack the same standard for their fold out tables and unadjustable chairs. If a cigar bar lounge interior decorator joined forces here it could be in the local mega mall instead of a dead strip.

Drove an hour to play in a tournament listed on the website just to be told, they aren’t hosting it and haven’t for the last few weeks. Then politely asked if i purchased related product, which would’ve been more than the entry fee for the draft btw, could I get the participation prize for the tournament? Ya know because you aren’t hosting it. To which I was told no you have to participate in the tournament, you know the one we aren’t hosting...Really?? Yeah probably won’t come back here, not worth the drive. Cool store though
