Whenever I want to stroll downtown and I happen to be gift shopping for my “gift closet”. “G’s” always on my list - the shop is inviting, engaging, clean with quality products. It’s charming, to boot!

A fixture of downtown Portsmouth! Small, but a nice place to visit. I visit from time to time to buy gifts for the kids. Store leans towards educational toys and items, but, all of good quality brand names and local manufacturers. Friendly, engaging staff.

This store is amazing! The setup of the store is perfect and has ample space for you and a child. The staff is friendly and gift wrapping is free. They do a great job with the gift wrapping and provide ribbons on the wrap. You will be able to find gifts here that are not easily found on common websites giving you a fighting chance in this world of duplicate gift giving.

Just got off the phone with Jody and I am so super impressed!! I, of course, found the same item I was inquiring about on amazon but told her I wanted to shop locally. Not only did she take the time to look up the item I was looking for but she is going to look into special ordering it in time for Christmas. Knowledgeable, friendly, and genuine. This is true of all of my previous experiences with this store. Tops! Absolutely recommend you give this store your business.

The friendliness of the staff is the selling point of this toy shop. G.Willikers is full of unique merchandise and books, but a favorite of my families is the play area in the back. Its a good spot to take a brief, downtown Portsmouth break. The walls are decorated with the works of local artists, giving something extra to enjoy while the kids play or peruse the toys..

Smaller than we anticipated and geared more towards younger kids. The littles had a great time playing the baseball pinball game at the front.

Every time were in Portsmouth we make it a point to stop in. They have a great selection of toys, books and really, all things for children. And they charge a fair price for everything. They even turned us onto a great local kids book author and his Mother Bruce book.I cant think of anything they dont do well.

G. Willikers! is one of the most friendly, helpful, and eye catching toy stores in New England. With its unique sticker books and cool putty you know this is a place any kid would love.

Love Love Love this place! My granddaughter calls it the Baby Store because they sell baby dolls! Bob, Debbie, and Jody welcome the children with open arms and invite them to play. Its a regular stop for my grandkids and me whenever Im in Portsmouth!

How much fun is it to go toy shopping? I have to admit I go by myself and scope out new and exciting toys for my grandchildren (I used to do this for my own children) Store employees and owners are always willing to suggest the coolest, latest and most amazing toys which is a great help when not quite sure what you think your grandchildren will love.

I love G. Willikers! They have a great selection of unique, high quality kids toys and books. I always seem to rush in last minute to get a gift for our friends kids, and the staff there is so helpful and friendly - suggesting age-appropriate gifts, wrapping them up beautifully, and even delivering them curbside if I call ahead! You cant beat that!
